Development of National R&D Information Navigation System Based on Information Filtering and Visualization (정보 필터링과 시각화에 기반한 국가R&D정보 내비게이션 시스템 개발)

  • This paper aim; to develop the National R&D Information Navigation System(NRnDINS) that is convenient and easy to use by the researchers on the basis of information filtering and visualization by converging and integrating the three types of the contents, namely, paper, report and project at the stage of development of the information system An information system is developed by establishing ontology and RDF on the three types of contents, and by applying information filtering and semantic search technology after having created the prototype for the screen by reflecting the user needs analysis and information visualization elements surveyed at the previous stage of information service planning. In this paper, to make the measure for information filtering, R&D navigation index is prosed and implemented, and NRnDINS capable of integrated search of the R&D contents through information visualization is developed. Also, for the testing of the developed system, the preference survey for its design by 1m persons and usability test of the system by 10 users are performed The result of the survey on the preference for the design is affirmative with 85% of the subjects finding it favorable and the composite receptivity is good with the score of 87.2 the results of the usability test. However, it was also found that further development of the personalization functions is needed. It is hoped that the R&D navigation index of the proposed and implemented in this paper would present quantitative objectivity and will induce further development of other information filtering index of contents in the future.

Social Search Scheme Considering Recent Preferences of Social Media Users (소셜 미디어 사용자의 최근 관심사를 고려한 소셜 검색 기법)

  • The existing social search has a problem that search results are not suitable for a user since it does not take into account the recency of the user profile and the interests of similar users. Therefore, studies on a social search considering a temporal attribute and the interests of other users are required. In this paper, we propose a social search scheme that takes into account the recent interests of a user by time and the interests of the most similar users. The proposed scheme analyzes the activity information of a social media user in order to take into account the recent interests of the user. And then the proposed scheme improves the satisfaction and accuracy of search results by combining the interests of similar users with the analyzed information and performing ranking, It is shown through performance evaluation that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing scheme.

  • In the web or not, all academic information have the creator which produces that information. The creator can be individual, organization, institution, or country. Most information consist of the title, author and content. The article among academic information is described by title, author, keywords, abstract, publisher, ISSN(International Standard Serial Number) and etc., and the patent information is consisted some metadata such as invention title, applicant, inventors, agents, application number, claim items etc. Most web-based academic information services provide search functions to user by processing and handling these metadata, and the search function using the author field is important. In this paper, we propose an effective indexing management for person name search, and search techniques using boosting factor and near operation based on phrase search to improve precision rate of search result. And we describe person name retrieval result with another expression name, co-authors and persons in same research field. The approach presented in this paper provides accurate data and additional search results to user efficiently.

  • 최근 반복적 설계에 대한 해결방안으로 제시되고 있는 디자인패턴을 체계적으로 분류, 공유하여 사용하려는 연구가 진행되고 있으나, 시스템 설계자 개개인이 제시한 패턴은 공유 대상에서 제외되고 있다. 또한, 특정 CASE 도구를 사용하여 모델링한 구조는 컴포넌트화되더라도 특정 도구나 플랫폼에 독립적으로 사용될 수 없었다. 본 논문에서는 기존 디자인패턴뿐만 아니라 사용자들에 의해 새로이 제시된 패턴을 모델링하는 패턴 에디터를 이용하여 설계정보를 도구와 플랫폼에 독립적인 XML코드로 컴포넌트화 할 수 있는 XML 기반의 디자인패턴 관리시스템을 설계, 구현하였으며, 효과적인 패턴 검색을 위해 Spreading Activation 검색 방법을 사용하였다.

  • The development of the information retrieval field is evolving to the research field searching accurately for the information from thing finding rapidly a large amount of information. Personalization and the semantic web technology is a key technology. The automatic indexing technology about the web document and throughput go beyond the research stage and show up as the practical service. However, there is a lack of research on the document information retrieval field about the attached document type of except the web document. In this paper, we illustrate about the method in which it analyzed the text content of the unstructured documents prepared in the text, word, hwp form and it how to construction OWL ontology. To build TBox of the document ontology and the resources which can be obtained from the document is selected, and we implement with the system in order to utilize as the instant of the constructed document ontology. It is effectually usable in the information retrieval and document management system using the semantic technology of the correspondence document as the ontology automatic construction of this kind of the unstructured documents.

  • Mobile Communication Companies are trying to increase data services rather than telephone communication services that already became saturated as the competition of mobile communication market gets intensified. However, it is hard and time-consuming for customers to find desired mobile phone wireless services because of the limitation of screen and speed of the mobile phone. Therefore, the market does not grow rapidly as mobile communication companies expected. In our research, we suggest a personalized wireless service recommendation system that considers each individual context by using geographic information and wireless internet usage logs to overcome the mentioned problems. In order to design and implement the system, we conducted clustering analysis on base stations and real service usage logs of each base station, and suggested a personalized recommendation system based on collaborative filtering that uses the clustering results. Moreover, we verified the performances of our system with experiments.

A Survey of Portal Sites in Terms of Academic Information Retrieval (검색 포털 시스템의 동향과 발전방향)

  • This paper examines the ways of using information resources available through information retrieval systems of portal sites. We analyze the types of information resources, search capabilities, and interfaces of Naver, Empas, and Google Scholar. Naver's retrieval system sells research reports, papers, patents information, etc. to users, which is similar to C2C(Customer to Customer in e-commerce environment). Empas provides information from journals, research reports, and proceedings with no charge. Google Scholar's noteworthy efforts are their collaborative programs with and/or for major U.S. libraries, such as "Library Link" and "Library Project." Considering the extended information retrieval services of portals, especially the services like Google Scholar's library programs, libraries need to develop more specialized services, such as the customized information service for individual user, development of user convenience tools like OCLC WorldCat, more accessibility through ubiquitous library concept, and collaboration among libraries.

  • With the proliferation of electronic commerce (EC), the product items which are transacted and the user classes who utilize the EC are spread rapidly. Many users have to expend time and effort in searching of products an or the shopping malls which deal with the products. For his reason, the intelligent retrieval of both malls and products based on an intelligent software agent has been raised as a hot issue. In this paper we have constructed an ontology server that is an essential constituent for agent-based intelligent EC. And also we have designed and implemented a use adapted personalized product search function based on the ontology that are registered in the server.

  • USB flash drive와 같은 이동형 저장매체는 한 손에 쏙 들어오는 작은 크기와 가벼운 무게로 뛰어난 휴대성을 제공하고 있다. 많은 사용자들은 자신의 데이터를 저장하기 위해 고용량을 제공하는 이동형 저장매체에 관심을 보이고 있다. 하지만 이동형 저장매체는 휴대성으로 인한 도난 및 분실당할수 있다. 개인 정보가 유출되는 등의 많은 문제들이 발생하고 있다. 인터넷의 발달과 클라우드 컴퓨팅 붐을 통하여 이동형 저장매체의 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 클라우드 스토리지 서비스가 급증하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 클라우드 스토리지 서비스는 인터넷이 가지고 있는 취약성 및 서버와 서버의 관리자의 비신뢰성 등의 문제를 가지고 있으며, 이로 인한 몇몇 사고가 발생하였다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 클라우드 스토리지 환경에서는 데이터를 암호화 저장하고 이를 복호화 과정 없이 검색할 수 있는 검색 가능한 암호 기술의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 하지만 기존의 검색가능 암호 기술은 사용자가 저장하고자 하는 데이터를 직접 업로드하고, 해당 자료를 필요에 따라 공유 하고, 공유대상이 변화되는 클라우드 스토리지 환경에서 비효율성을 가지고 있어 실제 서비스에 적용하기 힘든 단점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경을 고려하여 검색가능한 암호화 색인 생성 및 이를 재암호화를 통해 다른 사용자와 안전하게 공유할 수 있는 검색가능한 재 암호화 시스템을 제안한다.
