In this paper, in order to disambiguate Korean noun word sense, we define a local context and explain how to extract it from a raw corpus. Following the intuition that two different nouns are likely to have similar meanings if they occur in the same local context, we use, as a clue, the word that occurs in the same local context where the target noun occurs. This method increases the usability of extracted knowledge and makes it possible to disambiguate the sense of infrequent words. And we can overcome the data sparseness problem by extending the verbs in a local context. The sense of a target noun is decided by the maximum similarity to the clues learned previously. The similarity between two words is computed by their concept distance in the sense hierarchy borrowed from WordNet. By reducing the multiplicity of clues gradually in the process of computing maximum similarity, we can speed up for next time calculation. When a target noun has more than two local contexts, we assign a weight according to the type of each local context to implement the differences according to the strength of semantic restriction of local contexts. As another knowledge source, we get a co-occurrence information from dictionary definitions and example sentences about the target noun. This is used to support local contexts and helps to select the most appropriate sense of the target noun. Through experiments using the proposed method, we discovered that the applicability of local contexts is very high and the co-occurrence information can supplement the local context for the precision. In spite of the high multiplicity of the target nouns used in our experiments, we can achieve higher performance (89.8%) than the supervised methods which use a sense-tagged corpus.
Using the concept of granite suite/supersuite we hierarchically divided the Triassic granites in South Korea which have spatio-temporally close relationships each other. Among the Triassic granites in the Okcheon belt (western Yeongnam massif), the Baegrok granite and the Jeomchon granite can be grouped into one suite, the Baegrok suite, whereas the Cheongsan granite into the Cheongsan suite. These two suites can be grouped again into a larger supersuite, the Baegrok supersuite, on the basis of the similarity in the source rocks and the contrasts in the petrographic and geochemical characteristics. Three Triassic granites in the Gyeongsang basin - the Yeongdeok granite, the Yeonghae granite, and the Cheongsong granite - can be grouped into the Yeongdeok suite, Yeonghae suite and Cheongsong suite, respectively. These three suites can be grouped again into a larger supersuite, the Yeongdeok supersuite, on the basis of the similarity in the source rocks and the contrasts in the petrographic and geochemical characteristics. Nd-Sr isotopic signatures for the Baegrok supersuite are quite distinct from those for the Yeongdeok supersuite, indicating that the source materials of each granitic magma were not identical. The source rocks for the Baegrok supersuite are thought to be a mixture of two crustal components of the Yeongnam massif, whereas those for the Yeongdeok supersuite to be a mixture of the depleted mantle with the crustal components of the Yeongnam massif. The fact that the two contemporaneous granite supersuites were derived from the different sources can be explained by the difference of the tectonic environments where the granitic magmas were produced.
CHOOSA GORACK which is a typical example of traditional houses in the CHO SEON dynasty consists of the four terraced builfing group. Among those,SADANG CHAI are located in the highest level, and SADANG CHAI and SADANG CHAI are toward south direction. It means that building orientation and level were influenced by the distinction of social level and the idea of ancester worship. Floor and ceiling level in the same building is different which was caused by the distinetion of social level in the CHO SEON dynasty and an ariental dual as a variety of openings, exposed ceilings, and furniture against a wall were creating a typical Korean visual harmony. Although the furniture and equipments were very important elements in ONDOL BANG the occupance ratio of these were low because the free space in BANG should be utilized effectively to accommodate the space variation. Both an AN CHAI and SARANG CHAI were composed by the standard space module called KAN.And interior elements were established by several factors such as the human scale, the behavior pattern in traditional sitting life style, and the lumber size of post and lintel construction of Korean house.BANG and DAE GHUNG, composed of KAN,were expanded and arranged side by side so that the natural light and ventilation through them could be used in the result of the kind of lay out, traffic circulation was disturved. In conclusion,CHOOSA GOTACK was formed by the sirect effice of the KOREAN penisula. However this study was based on one sample. It may not enough to deduct soild conclusion. Therefore continuous and farher study is needed for the sestemane evaluation.

Safety management has been one of the most critical issues in the construction industry for a long time. Despite continuous efforts, it still shows a higher accident rate than other sectors. To reduce the accident rate, a lot of studies have been performed, mostly focused on contractors or construction phase. Although the initial stage of the construction project has the most significant impact on construction safety and decision-makers at the initial stage play an important role, the safety management system throughout the project entire life-cycle is still insufficient. In addition, although a great deal of information is generated in the construction project and the value is increasing, while it shows an inefficient aspect. This is believed to be due to insufficient information exchange and a lack of standards. In this context, this study aims to analyze the efficiency of information handover in construction safety. For this purpose, a safety management framework for systematically and efficiently managing and utilizing for construction safety information is referred to as 'safety business functions', 'project life-cycle', and 'industrial hierarchy'. The 'safety business functions' are classified into three levels. And then, in order to analyze the efficiency of safety information handover, 'importance of safety business function' and 'efficiency of safety information handover' were evaluated by interviewing with experts. This study can be used as reference data for implementing systematical and efficient safety management, and can also increase construction safety competency.
This study empirically verified the effect of environmental dynamism on changes in the dynamic and operational capabilities of an enterprise and its innovation performance. With the aim of quantification, the concept and definition of each capability were defined as a hierarchical structure of dynamic and operational capabilities. Five research hypotheses were established through prior research on dynamic capabilities, operational capabilities, innovation performance, and environmental dynamism. For empirical analysis, the hypotheses were verified based on surveys from 300 Korean manufacturing companies. It was shown that Dynamic capabilities had a positive relationship with operational capabilities and operational capabilities had a positive relationship with innovation performance. And it was shown that operational capabilities had a positive relationship with radical innovation in business groups with high environmental dynamism while operating capabilities had a positive relationship with gradual innovation in business groups with low environmental dynamism. Also, the moderating effect of environmental dynamism was not significant in the relationship with dynamic capabilities on operational capabilities. This study is meaningful in that it lays the groundwork for empirically verifying the dynamic capabilities of an enterprise by embodying its dynamic capabilities and operational capabilities into processes, and verifies the effect of environmental change on its capabilities and innovation performance. And it has implications to suggest how an enterprise should transform its capabilities to sustain its competitive advantage in a rapidly changing environment.

In order to resolve the imbalances in the supply of living SOCs according to socio-economic status, location, and population groups, the discussions on inclusive city policies are expanding. The purpose of this study is to propose an Index of Park Derivation (IPD) as an alternative indicator for the promotion of an inclusive urban park policy that can be applied in the 7 major metropolitan cities to select a region with a relatively high park needs. The main research results are as follows. First, the concept of an inclusive urban park policy is defined as "a policy to supply to manage high-quality park services with priority given to areas with low socio-economic and environmental status, such as a large amount of elderly, children, low-income families, areas vulnerable to disasters, such as heat and fine dust, and population groups." Second, we developed the index of park derivation (IPD), which is a combination of 17 variables including park service level, demographic characteristics, economic and educational level, health level, and environmental vulnerability. The variables that constitute the index of park deprivation (IPD) can be applied to SOC policies outside the parks, such as sports facilities, daycare centers, kindergartens, and public libraries. Third, applying index of park deprivation (IPD) to 1,148 Eup/Myeon/dong areas of the 7 metropolitan cities resulted in areas with relatively high park service needs. This study implies that the central and the local government suggest an alternative index to promote an inclusive urban park policy based on statistical and geographical information and data that can be easily accessed and utilized.
The cyber battlefield called the fifth battlefield, is not based on geological information unlike the existing traditional battlefiels in the land, sea, air and space, and has a characteristics that all information has tightly coupled correlation to be anlayized. Because the cyber battlefield has created by the network connection of computers located on the physical battlefield, it is not completely seperated from the geolocational information but it has dependency on network topology and software's vulnerabilities. Therefore, the analysis for cyber battlefield should be provided in a form that can recognize information from multiple domains at a glance, rather than a single geographical or logical aspect. In this paper, we describe a study on the development of the cyber operation COP(Common Operational Picture), which is essential for command and control in the cyber warfare. In particular, we propose an architecure for cyber operation COP to intuitively display information based on visualization techniques applying the multi-layering concept from multiple domains that need to be correlated such as cyber assets, threats, and missions. With this proposed cyber operation COP with multi-layered visualization that helps to describe correlated information among cyber factors, we expect the commanders actually perfcrm cyber command and control in the very complex and unclear cyber battlefield.

Sustainability science is an emerging transdisciplinary research which necessitates not only the communication and collaboration of scientists, practitioners and stakeholders from different disciplines and interests, but also the paradigm shift from deterministic and reductionist approaches to the old basic. Ecological-societal systems (ESS) are co-evolving complex systems having many interacting parts (or agents) whose random interactions at local scale give rise to spontaneous emerging order at global scale (i.e., self-organization). Here, the flows of energy, matter and information between the systems and their surroundings play a key role. We introduce a conceptual framework for such continually morphing dynamical systems, i.e. self-organizing hierarchical open systems (SOHOs). To understand the structure and functionality of SOHOs, we revisit the two fundamental laws of physics. Re-interpretation of these principles helps understand the destiny and better path toward sustainability, and how to reconcile ecosystem integrity with societal vision and value. We then integrate the so-called visioneering (V) framework with that of SOHOs as feedback/feedforward loops so that 'a nudged self-organization' may guide systems' agents to work together toward sustainable ESS. Finally, example is given with newly endorsed Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Lab (i.e., 'Rural systems visioneering') by Future Earth, which is now underway in rural villages in Tanzania.
This article explores the current status of arrangement of the archives relating to the Korean Provisional Assembly held by the National Assembly Library and suggests the direction of rearrangement focusing on the principles of arrangement. The Korean Provisional Assembly had records management regulations, and records were produced and stored according to them. However, the archives lost their original order at some point. The National Assembly Library collected and managed them in the 1960s. The National Assembly Library did not fully consider the records management system at the time of record production and various situations that may occur during the storage process while organizing the collected archives. At that time, the National Assembly Library did not follow the records management regulations of the Korean Provisional Assembly. In addition, the hierarchical structure of archives was not applied during the arrangement, and the National Assembly Library arranged without considering the Principal of Provenance and the Principle of original order. As a result, it became difficult to understand the structure and context of the archives. In order to solve these problems and come up with a plan for rearranging the archives, first of all, it is necessary to examine the characteristics of the records related to the Korean Provisional Assembly in accordance with the principles of record arrangement. First, according to the Principal of Provenance, it is necessary to identify the organization, function, and records and classify the records item, records file, creators, dates of creation, types of records etc. Second, by applying the Principle of original order, it is necessary to understand what the order of records was at the time when records were created and preserved. Third, it is necessary to examine whether the records are completely created and valid. It is impossible to completely arrange the archives related to the Korean Provisional Assembly as it was in the past. However, by examining the current state of arrangement and the direction of rearrangement, it will be possible to newly understand the contents, structure, and context of the archives and create a basis for effective reference service.
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze characteristics of everyday movement showed in performances of Steve Paxton. A work of art has been realized as a special object enjoyed by high class people as high culture for a long time. Therefore, a gap between everyday life and art has been greatly existed, and the emergence of everyday elements in a work of art means that public awareness involving social change is changed. The postmodernism as the period when a boundary between art and everyday life is uncertain was a postwar society after the Second World War and a social situation that rapidly changes into a capitalistic society. Changes in this time made scholars gain access academically concepts related to everyday life, and affected artists as the spirit of the times of pluralistic postmodernism refusing totality. At the same period of the time, modern dance also faced a turning point as post-modern dance. After the Second World War, modern dance started to be evaluated as it reaches the limit, and at this juncture, headed by dancers including the Judson Dance Theatre. Acting as a dancer in a dance company of Merce Cunningham, Steve Paxton, one of founders of the Judson Dance Theatre, had a critical mind of the conditions of dance company with the social structure and the process that movement is made. This thinking is showed in early performances as an at tempt to realize everyday motion it self in performances. His early activity represented by a walking motion attracted attention as a simple motion that excludes all artful elements of existing dance performances and is possible to conduct by a person who is not a dancer. Although starting the use of everyday movement is regarded as an open characteristic of post-modern dance, advanced researches on this were rare, so this study started. In addition, studies related to Steve Paxton are skewed towards Contact Improvisation that he rose as an active practician. As the use of ordinary movement before he focused on Contact Improvisation, this study examines other attempts including Contact Improvisation as attempts after the beginning of his performances. Therefore, the study analyzes Satisfyin' Lover, Contact at 10th & 2nd and Bound that are performances of Steve Paxton, and based on this, draws everyday characteristics. In addition, related books, academic essays, dance articles and reviews are consulted to consider a concept related to everyday life and understand dance historical movement of post-modern dance. Paxton attracted attention because of his activity starting at critical approach of movement of existing modern dance. As walking of performers who are not dancers, a walking motion showed in Satisfyin' Lover gave esthetic meaning to everyday movement. After that, he was affected by Eastern ideas, so developed Contact Improvisation making a motion through energy of the natural laws. In addition, he had everyday things on his performances, and used a method to deliver various images by using mundane movement and impromptu gestures originating from relaxed body. Everyday movement of his performances represents change in awareness of performances of the art of dancing that are traditionally maintained including change of dance genre of an area. His activity with unprecedented attempt and experimentation should be highly evaluated as efforts to overcome the limit of modern dance.
