  • 본 논문은 유도전동기의 제어에 있어서 성능향상을 위하여 가중치를 도입한 새로운 적분제어기법을 제안하여 $H_{\infty}$ T-S 퍼지제어기와 함께 사용하였다. $H_{\infty}$ T-S퍼지제어기는 유도전동기의 비선형성과 강인성을 위하여 사용되었고 가중치를 도입한 적분제어기는 추적문제를 조정기문제로 바꾸어 줌과 동시에 제어성능을 향상시키기 위해서 사용되었다. $H_{\infty}$ T-S퍼지제어기는 국부선형모델을 기반으로 구해지는 국부선형제어기 들의 선형결합으로 구성되며 각각의 국부 선형제어이득들은 LMI(Linear Matrix Inequlity)를 이용하여 계산된다. 본 논문에서는 가중치에 따라 결정되는 다양한 LMI해의 선택을 가능하게 함으로써 제어성능을 향상시켰다.

  • This article suggests an inverse kinematics analysis of a two degree of freedom spatial parallel motion simulator and design methodology of the robust PID controller. The parallel motion simulator consists of a fixed base and a moving frame connected by two serial chains, with each serial chain containing one revolute joint and two passive spherical joint. First, an inverse kinematics problems are solved in order to find the joint variable necessary to bring the end effector to track the desired trajectory. Second, an inverse optimal PID controller is proposed to track trajectories in the face of uncertainty. And the $H_{\infty}$ optimality and robust stability of the closed-loop system is acquired through the PID controller. Finally numerical results show the effectiveness of the PID controller that is designed by square/linear tuning laws.

  • In this paper, we consider the design problem of delay-dependent robust $H{\infty}$ controller of discrete-time descriptor systems with parameter uncertainties and interval time-varying delays in state and control input by delay-dependent LMI (linear matrix inequality) technique. A new delay-dependent bounded real lemma for discrete-time descriptor systems with time-varying delays is derived. The condition for the existence of robust $H{\infty}$ controller and the robust $H{\infty}$ state feedback control law are proposed by LMI approach. A numerical example is demonstrated to show the validity of the design method.

  • The nonlinear observers are proposed for a nonlinear system. To improve the characteristics such as stability, convergence, and $H^{\infty}$ filter performance criterion, we utilize an $H^{\infty}$ filter Riccati equation or a modified $H^{\infty}$ filter Riccati equation with a freedom parameter. Using the Lyapunov function method, the characteristics of the observers are analyzed. Then the in-flight alignment for a strapdown inertial navigation system(SDINS) is designed using the proposed observer. And the additive quaternion error model is especially used to reduce the uncertainty of the SDINS error model. Simulation results show that the observer with the modified $H^{\infty}$ filter Riccati equation effectively improves the performance of the in-flight alignment.

  • This paper presents a robust PID controller design technique using the concept of model matching method in the frequency domain. To design the robust PID controller satisfying disturbance attenuation and robust tracking property for a reference input, first an H$\infty$ controller satisfying given performance is designed using the H$\infty$ control method. And then, the parameters(proportional, integral, and derivative gains) of the robust PID controller are determined using the model matching at frequency domain. The proposed technique is applied to a position controller design of the web. The simulation results show that the proposed robust PID controller satisfies disturbance attenuation and tracking property.

  • This paper considers the problem of robust H$_{\infty}$ control with regional stability constraints via output feedback to assure robust performance for uncertain linear systems. A robust H$_{\infty}$ control problem and the generalized Lyapunov theory are introduced for dealing with the problem, The output feedback H$_{\infty}$ controller makes the controlled outputs settle within a given bound and the control input not to be saturated. The regional stability constraints problem for uncertain systems can be reduced to the problem for the nominal systems by finding sufficient bounds of variations of the closed-loop poles due to modeling uncertainties. A controller design procedure is established using the Lagrange multiplier method. The controller design technique was illustrated on the track-following system of a optical disk drive.ve.

  • In this paper, the decoupling H(sub)$\infty$ controller which minimizes the maximum energy in the output signal is designed to reduce the coupling properties between the input/output variables which make it difficult to control a system efficiently. The state-space formulas corresponding to the existing transfer matrix formulas of the controller are derived for computational efficiency. And for a given decoupling $H_{\infty}$ problem, an efficient method are sought to find the controller coefficients through the LMI(Linear Matrix Inequalities) method by which the problem is formulated into a convex optimization problem.

  • This paper presents a design method of a robust tracking controller satisfying multiple constraints using genetic algorithm. A robust $H_{\infty}$ constraint with loop shaping is used to address disturbance attenuation with error limits and a loop gain constraint is considered so as not to enlarge the tracking loop gain and bandwidth unnecessarily. The robust $H_{\infty}$ constraint is expressed by a matrix inequality and the loop gain constraint is considered as an objective function so that genetic algorithm can be applied. Finally, a robust tracking controller can be obtained by integrating genetic algorithm with LMI approach. The proposed tracking controller design method is applied to the track-following system of an optical DVD recording drive and is evaluated through the experimental results.

  • 본 논문에서는 선박운동제어를 위한 제어시스템 설계문제에 대해 고찰한다. 특히 강인한 추종성능을 가진 2자유도 서보계 설계법을 이용하여 선박의 위치 및 자세제어를 위한 제어기를 설계하고, 실험 등의 실제적인 제어시스템 구축시 센서로부터 모든 정보를 획득할 수 없으므로 이에 필요한 상태를 추정하기 위한 관측기 설계 문제에 대해 고려하고 있다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 실제 상태정보와 추정된 상태정보와의 오차를 최소화하도록 $H_{\infty}$ 오차 바운드를 설정하는 기법으로 관측기의 이득을 구한다. 특히 $H_{\infty}$ 오차 바운드를 만족하는 관측기가 존재하기 위한 조건을 LMI형식으로 변환하여 표현함으로써 관측기 이득 계산을 효율적으로 수행하여 최적의 이득을 구할 수 있음을 보이고 시뮬레이션을 통해 그 유용성을 확인한다.

  • This paper deals with the control of a horizontally placed flexible rotor levitated by electromagnets in a multi-input/multi-output (MIMO) active magnetic bearing(AMB) system. AMB is a kind of novel high performance bearing which can suspend the rotor by magnetic force. Its contact-free manner between the rotor and stator results in it being able to operate under much higher speed than conventional rolling bearings with relatively low power losses, as well as being environmental-friendly technology for AMB system having no wear and no lubrication requirements. In this MIMO AMB system, the rotor is a complex mechanical system, it not only has rigid body characteristics such as translational and slope motion but also bends as a flexible body. Reduced order nominal model is computed by consideration of the first 3 mode shapes of rotor dynamics. Then, the $H_{\infty}$ control strategy is applied to get robust controller. Such robustness of the control system as the ability of disturbance rejection and modeling error is guaranteed by using $H_{\infty}$ control strategy. Simulation results show the validation of the designed control system and the modeling method to the rotor.
