  • 정보이용능력은 정보화 사회를 살아가는데 있어서 필수적으로 갖추어야할 높은 수준의 일반지식이 되고 있으며, 대학과 대학도서관에서 학생 개개인이 정보이용능력을 가질 수 있도록 교육하는 것이 중요해 지고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 대학에서 교양과목으로 실시되고 있는 정보이용능력교육의 실태를 조사하고, 그 교육 내용의 타당성을 표준 지침과의 비교를 통해 살펴보고자 한다. 연구를 위해 8개 대학의 정보이용능력교육 현황(강의 주체, 과목명, 강의 방식, 강의 장소, 평가)을 조사하고, 강의계획서를 중심으로 교육 내용을 ACRL 표준과 비교하여 보았다.

사이버대학의 모델 유형과 단계별 발전방안에 관한 연구

  • 사이버대학을 설립하고자 하는 많은 대학에게 보다 안정적이고 효율적인 사이버대학에 관한 프레임워크 및 모델들의 개발과 운영지침 등이 제공될 필요성이 제기되고 있으며, 이런 관점에서 본 연구는 사이버대학에서 가장 핵심이 되는 사이버대학의 모델유형들을 재정리 하여보고, 단계별 발전방안도 제시해보고자 했다. 사이버대학이 성공하기 위해서는 위에서 제시한 경쟁력 있는 사이버대학 발전모형을 빠른 시일 내에 정착하여야 하며, 사이버대학에 대한 수요창출도 반드시 고려하여야 한다. 기존 대학들이 온상 속에서 고객 확보를 위한 마케팅전략의 필요성을 심각하게 고민한 경우가 많지 않았으나 사이버대학은 새로운 수요창출을 위해 많은 고민과 전략을 세워야할 것이다. 무엇보다도 사이버대학이 발전하기 위해서는 사용자위주의 사이버강의시스템을 잘 구축하고, 교수들은 사이버강의에 맞는 교안을 잘 개발하여 학구적 자유와 전문가적 기회를 증대시키며, 학생들은 능동적으로 강의에 참여하는 self-leader가 될 때 비로써 사이버대학은 에듀피아(Edupia)의 시발점이 될 것이고, 우리나라가 교육대국으로써 거듭나는 초석이 될 것이다. 본 논문은 처음 시스템을 개발하고자 하는 대학에 있어서 어떻게 사이버대학을 설립하고, 발전시켜 나갈 지에 대해 제시해주고 있다.

  • 최근 환경에 대한 관심이 지속적으로 증가함에 따라 실내 공기질에 대한 관심 역시 증폭되었다. 이에 따라 실내 공기질을 결정 짓고 흡연에 이어 폐암 사망률이 높은 라돈에 대한 관심 역시 증가하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실내 라돈가스의 농도를 낮추기 위한 방법을 찾기 위해 RADON EYE RD200을 이용하여 교육연구시설에서의 세 강의동을 대상으로 라돈 방출량을 측정하고, 환기를 통해 라돈의 감소량을 측정한다. 세 강의동 모두 현재 기준치인 148 Bq/m3을 초과하는 수치를 기록하였고, 강의실을 10분간 환기한 결과 1회 환기 시 평균 77 Bq/m3만큼 감소하였고, 2회 환기 시 평균 56 Bq/m3만큼 감소하였다. 본 연구를 통해 라돈의 실태 및 위험성을 인지하고 라돈에 관련된 시설물 지침 및 환기를 강조하는 방안에 대한 마련이 필요하다고 판단된다.

  • Nowadays, the various developments of the CAD/CAM have been coming to realization at an intimidating speed. However, in the field of the aesthetic dentistry, the extremely natural aesthetics must be realized eventually by human hands, and for this purpose, it is considered that the endless challenges and practitioners' own beliefs are necessary. While practitioners are normally exposed to surgical methods of aesthetic restorations via domestic and foreign books and lectures, it appears that there are not many of such necessary information that is summarized for easy understanding by dental technicians. Accordingly, as a result of pondering over this matter for years, the presenter has been devising the 'Esthetic Check List' that is a guideline for the aesthetic restoration practice, and the balanced and harmonious prostheses have been produced based on this guideline. In this presentation, this protocol is introduced.

Suggestions for Using Flipped Learning Videos and a Study on the Educational Value (플립러닝의 동영상 활용시 제안과 교육적 가치 고찰)

  • Previously, there were no studies that were not aware of the importance of video, were interested in the educational value of Flipped Learning, and there were many wrong experiments because they did not understand Flipped Learning. Therefore, an accurate understanding of Flipped Learning is needed. This study proposed the caution of video learning of Flipped Learning and presented the papers and grounds to support to examine the educational value of Flipped Learning. A video of the lecture should be produced with a core content of 10 to 15 minutes, and found that the educational value of Flipped Learning lies in self-directed learning, cooperative learning, habruta, overcoming the oblivion curve and metacognition. It is hoped that this study will provide good guidance and direction of education for teachers who have difficulty Flipped Learning.

  • It is necessarily required to improve how the curriculum of general mathematics and teachinmethod should be managed at university level due to students' avoidance to mathematics and science, various types of college entrance system and change of environment of education, etc. This paper provides the levelled teaching method to overcome the differences of students in academical sense and suggests effective teaching and learning method for general mathematics along with the appropriate teaching materials for each level of students.

Design Flood Wave for Seepage Analyses through Levees (하천제방의 침투해석을 위한 설계홍수파형 결정)

  • 본 연구에서는 제방에 대한 부정류 침투해석시 사용되는 설계홍수파형을 결정하기 위하여 수위자료가 양호한 낙동강 수계 수위관측소 지점의 홍수자료를 수집하고 그 지검에 해당하는 계획홍수량 및 계획홍수위를 조사하였다. 설계홍수파형 결정 방법은 일본의 하천제방설계지침(2000)에서 제시하고 있는 방법을 참고하였으며, 그 적용성을 검토하기 위해서 낙동강의 9개 수위관측소 지점의 과거 홍수사상과 계획홍수량 산정시 사용되었던 설계수문곡선을 이용하여 합성홍수파형을 시험적으로 결정했다. 비교분석하여 침투해석을 위한 설계홍수파형을 결정 방법에 적용한다. 제방의 비정상 침투해석을 위한 설계홍수파형은 홍수지속시간과 감수부경사로 결정할 수 있는데, 홍수지속시간은 합성홍수파의 홍수지속시간이 계획홍수파의 지속시간보다 크게 산정되었는데, 이는 설계시 계획홍수파의 지속시간에 어느 정도 안전율을 적용해야 함을 의미한다. 감수부 경사는 분석된 과거 홍수사상중에는 계획홍수파의 감수부 경사보다 급하게 감소하는 것은 거의 없는 것으로 나타났는데, 감수부 경사는 계획홍수량 산정시 사용했던 수문곡선을 사용하는 것이 안전측 설계가 될 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구는 최근 누수에 의한 제방붕괴가 발생한 바 있는 낙동강 유역에 대해서 시험적으로 적용해 보았으며 그 방법론에 대한 타당성을 확인했다.

Towards better acoustic conditions in school buildings in Korea-a need for Korean standard for classroom acoustics (국내 교육시설의 음향기준 제정의 필요성 제고)

  • This paper describes the acoustical conditions of elementary school and high school classrooms as well as university classrooms in Korea and suggests a need for Korean acoustic standards and guidelines for classroom design. Current standards and guidelines of classroom acoustics in several countries were briefly introduced to understand their acoustical performance criteria for background noise levels and reverberation times, and noise isolation design requirements in various types of classrooms. The results of several acoustic survey of domestic classrooms in elementary school, high school, and university were described and compared to provide information of the acoustic characteristics of Korean school classrooms. The survey includes occupied and unoccupied data on the acoustical conditions, noise levels, and noise isolation performance in the classrooms. Acoustical parameter values for achieving 'good' speech intelligibility in active university classrooms were also presented.

Effect of Virtual Reality Training for the Enclosed Space Entry (밀폐공간진입을 위한 가상현실(VR) 훈련의 효과)

  • According to the MAIIF report, from 1998 to 2009, 101 incidents involving entering enclosed spaces aboard ships resulted in 93 deaths and 96 casualties. IMO has therefore amended the Recommendations for entering Enclosed Spaces Entry and SOLAS 1974 Convention Chapter 3 Regulation 19, which mandates enclosed spaces entry and rescue drill on a regular basis. The training of entering such enclosed spaces should be practical, recognizing all possible risks of entering enclosed spaces aboard ships, while also considering the safety of trainees during the training. Recently, educational contents utilizing virtual reality (VR) have been applied in various fields to improve education and training effects, and these methods have proven to have advantages in actual and repetitive learning without being limited to physical space. In this study, the effectiveness, characteristics and differentiation of training of entering enclosed spaces aboard ships using VR were compared with traditional class room lectures through quantitative evaluation and questionnaires of training participants. Through the evaluation and questionnaire, it was found that participants using VR understood and learned the required training elements better than the control group, all of whom were trained through the normal class room lecture. Moreover, participants reported to display preference for training with the help of VR. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the learning effects of VR onboard training can be used as an effective training method, especially by using video and other types of simulators.

Study on the status and gifted students' perception on the curriculum implementation of Busan Science Academy (과학영재학교 교육과정 운영실태와 학생 인식 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the status and gifted students' perception on curriculum implementation for gifted education at Busan Science Academy. For the purpose, we investigated the curriculum documents, the process of implementing curriculum and the result of the questionnaire. The questionnaire about the curriculum courses, teaching strategies and evaluation method was answered by 143 students at Busan Science Academy. The curriculum courses are composed of general courses and specialized courses: general courses comprise of Korean language, social studies, foreign languages, arts, and physical education. Specialized courses consist of mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, information science. Elective courses are divided into basic elective courses and in-depth courses. Each in-depth course deals with more specialized content. The significant results of the questionnaire are as follows: First, according to gifted students' perception, the credits of specialized courses and in-depth elective courses need to be increased and the credits of general courses need to be reduced. Second, teachers at this school mainly use teaching strategies such as lecture, group activities and discussion, but the students prefer diverse teaching strategies such as lecture, discussion, experiment, individual research, problem solving and field studies. Third, students prefer a paper-and-pencil testing assesment rather than a written report assesment and lab experiment assesment. According to this study, the characteristics of the acceleration curriculum at Busan Science Academy were too intensive. Thus it is difficult to implement the enrichment education according to the demand of gifted students in this school. Therefore, this study suggests that we need to revise the curriculum courses of Busan Science Academy and develop contents and strategies for gifted education in science and mathematics.
