Development and Effect Analysis of a Learning Support System for Underachievers Using Psychological Learning Style Tests (학습 스타일 심리검사를 이용한 부진아 학습 지원 시스템의 개발 및 효과 분석)

  • It is urgent to have learning support for children with learning disability according to the survey made by the government educational organization. To this end, we developed a learning support system for children with learning disability. First, the system diagnoses the children with learning disability using a decision tree based on the pre-test results. Secondly, it supports for children with learning disability one of audio-, vision- and tactility-oriented learning types according to the results from the psychological learning style test. Thirdly, one-to-one study is supported for failed students at the achievement test. For the evaluation of the system, the children with disability were divided into an experimental group and a control group and the educational achievement was evaluated. We found that 10% on the average was improved in case that learning was made after the psychological test for learning styles.

Investigation on the Effect of Laser Peening Variables on Welding Residual Stress Mitigation Using Dynamic Finite Element Analysis (동적 유한요소 해석을 통한 용접 잔류응력 이완에 미치는 레이저 피닝 변수의 영향 고찰)

  • 현재 가동 중인 몇몇 가압 경수로 원전 안전 1등급 설비의 이종금속 용접부는 일차수응력부식균열(PWSCC : Primary Stress Corrosion Cracking) 발생의 세가지 조건(민감 재질, 부식 환경, 인장응력)을 동시에 충족하고 있다. 즉, 이종금속 용접부는 PWSCC에 민감한 재질인 Alloy 600 계열 합금으로 제작 또는 용접되어 있으며 고온 수화학 부식 환경 하에 놓여있다. 아울러 오스테나이트 스테인리스 강의 예민화 예방을 위한 용접 후열처리 미실시로 높은 인장 용접 잔류응력이 작용하고 있다. 이러한 이종금속 용접부의 특성상 PWSCC가 발생할 잠재성이 있을 뿐만 아니라 국내외적으로 Alloy 600 계열 합금으로 제작 및 용접된 가압 경수로 원전 안전 1등급 설비의 이종금속 용접부에 실제 PWSCC가 발생된 사례들이 다수 보고되고 있다. 운전 환경 및 재질 변화 없이 PWSCC 발생을 예방하기 위해서는 인장 잔류응력을 이완시켜 낮은 인장 또는 압축 응력화하여야 한다. 이러한 인장 잔류응력 이완방법들로는 PWOL(Pre-emptive Weld Overlay), 레이저 피닝(Laser Peening), MSIP(Mechanical Stress Improvement Process), 워터 제트 피닝(Water Jet Peening), IHSI(Induction Heating Stress Improvement) 방법들이 있는데 공정 시간이 짧고 열 에너지 원이 필요 없으며 전체적인 소성 변형을 야기시키지 않는 레이저 피닝을 본 연구의 대상 방법으로 한다. 본 연구에서는 동적 유한요소 해석을 통해 용접 잔류응력을 이완시키는 레이저 피닝의 효과를 검증하고 용접 잔류응력에 미치는 레이저 피닝 변수의 영향을 고찰하고자 한다. 내부 보수용접이 수행된 경수로 원전 가압기 노즐 이종금속 용접부에 레이저 피닝을 적용한 경우에 대해 상용 유한요소 해석 프로그램인 ABAQUS를 이용하여 동적 유한요소해석을 수행한 결과, 고온 수화학 일차수와 접하는 Alloy 600 계열 합금 내면에서의 인장 잔류응력이 상당히 이완됨을 확인하였다. 또한, 최대충격 압력이 증가할수록, 충격압력 지속시간이 증가할수록, 레이저 스팟 직경이 증가할수록 내표면 인장 잔류응력 이완 정도는 감소하나 이완되는 영역의 깊이는 증가함을 알 수 있다. 또한, 레이저 피닝 방향이 잔류응력 이완에 미치는 영향은 미미함을 알 수 있다.

How to Use Serious Games in School Settings and its Influencing Factors (교육 현장에서의 기능성 게임 활용과 영향 요인)

  • In this research, we investigated how interactive digital serious games could be used in traditional, offline, school classrooms. We asked four teachers from four different schools to use a job training serious game in their traditional job training curriculum and the teachers used the game in anyway they intended. As a result, the two main ways to integrate gaming into traditional curriculum were gaming within the curriculum and gaming outside the curriculum, although both methods were used to support the main curriculum. When the game was used outside the curriculum, teachers almost always had the students play the game during the computer lab class. Students also played games voluntarily during recess and at home. The factors that affected how the game was used were teacher, student, and location and accessibility of the computer.

  • Recently rapid changes in the industrial environment require new talents in companies. Flipped learning is drawing attention as an effective teaching-learning method. The existing traditional lecture teaching-learning method have various problems that the dropout rates of the student is high and the creative problem solving ability is hindered. In the case of the IT engineering college, most of the major theoretical courses require prior learning of the prerequisite coursework subjects. Therefore, effective teaching-learning methods must be developed to improve student participation and academic achievement. This paper proposes the flipped learning model consisting of five sets that combine the flipped learning and practice to improve student motivation and self - directed learning. Also, this paper analyzes the learning effect by applying it to the algorithm lecture of computer engineering and presents problem and utilization plan according to the result.

An Analysis of the Awareness of Undergraduate Students Toward Educational Methods Utilizing SNS (SNS의 교육적 활용 방법에 대한 대학생들의 인식 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide statistical analysis based suggestions on effective methods to take advantage of social network service (SNS) for educational purposes based on investigations of undergraduate students with high utilization of SNS. To achieve this, we conducted an open questionnaire survey and qualitatively analyzed the data using NVivo 10 program. Additionally, to visualize the analysis by education subject of the SNS educational methods, we have divided the data into 3 categories of teacher, student and common area. As a result, our analysis showed that the exchange opinions and discussions, information sharing and learning of contents of questions and answers, surveys, intimacy formation, counseling etc. were of the common area. Furthermore, teacher area included the notice announcement, teaching materials sharing, real-time assessment (quiz), attendance check, assignment grading and feedback, etc. Finally the student area was of project activities (group/individual), prepare and review the shared data, video self learning, peer review and feedback of projects, lecture evaluation, etc.

인공치아와 표면처리

  • 치아는 인체중에서도 혹한 환경에서 부분으로 높은 하중과 타액과 같은 강 부식성 매체로 그 환경이 상상을 초월한다. 즉 반복적으로 가해지는 하중(응력)과 침식을 유발하는 타액과 음식물 등이다. 따라서 치아가 쉽게 파괴되거나 썩는 현상이 나타나게 된다. 이렇게 사용되다가 치아의 역할을 다하게 되면 인공치아를 사용하게 되는데 그 재료가 바로 타이타늄(Ti)이다. 생체매식재로 사용되는 Ti는 반응성이 높아 산소와 쉽게 결합하여 표면에 TiO, $TiO_2$, 및 $Ti_2O_3$와 같은 산화피막을 표면에 형성함으로써 뛰어난 부식저항성과 생체적합성을 가지며 생체에 독성이 없고 탄성계수가 골과 비슷하여 골과 임플란트 경계면에서 응력분산에 유리한 성질 등 물리적, 기계적 성질이 뛰어나 외과용 임플란트 재료로 가장 좋은 재료이다. 금속 임플란트의 생체적합도는 임플란트 재료 자체보다는 생체 내 산화막이 화학적으로 불안정할 때 부식이 발생하게 되고 그 결과 금속이온이 주위로 유리되어 조직반응을 일으키므로 금속의 표면을 덮고 있는 산화막에 의해 좌우된다. Ti는 생체불활성재료로서 매식재료로 사용할 경우 뼈와 잘 융합되는 골유착을 나타내나 골과 화학적결합은 하지 않고 골형성을 적극적으로 유도하지 못함으로 환자의 치유기간이 길어지게 된다. 이러한 이유로 골조직내 임플란트의 접합을 개선하기위한 연구가 이루어져 골과의 결합을 높이기 위해 골유착을 일으키는 Ti에 골성장을 유도하는 뼈성분인 하이드록시 아파타이트(HA)라는 물질을 플라즈마 코팅법을 사용하던가 아니면 Hanks' solution내에서 침적 후 HA도금을 하는 방법 등으로 처리하고 있다. 그러나 플라즈마 코팅법은 고온에서 처리를 행하고 Hanks' solution내에 침적할 경우 Ti표면에 밀착도가 저하되거나 합금의 상변화 등으로 인하여 표면처리 과정 중에서 내식성이 크게 감소될 수 있다. 이러한 여러 가지 코팅법을 통하여 골 유착을 증진시키기 위한 연구는 계속되고 있지만 임상적으로 사용 후 문제가 단시일에 발생되는 것도 아니고 수년이 지나야 나타나게 된다. 이러한 방법으로 코팅을 하게 되면 골과 잘 유착이 되어 자연차아와 같은 기능을 하게 된다. 따라서 이러한 문제를 최소화하는 방법이 나노구조를 표면에 형성시켜 골유착을 쉽게 함으로써 이를 개선할 수 있을 것으로 생각되어 본 강의에서는 임플란트의 문제와 사용되는 재료에 대하여 고찰하여 자연치아를 대체 할 수 있는지 알아보았다.

Pre-clinical Screening Methods for Evaluating Anti-wrinkle Effect

  • Nowadays, we find out new anti-wrinkle-care-ingredients by in vitro searching methods using many kind of cell-culture-models for investigation of the effective anti-wrinkle-care-ingredients. But, theses new ingredients don't have effect on the human-model for anti-wrinkle, not likely on in vitro. In other words, there are so many differences between the effects on in vitro models and the clinical human models, practically. But, we actually have difficulty in putting all of the new anti-wrinkle-care-ingredients to the test on human models directly. To solve this problem, we have investigated that by using the artificial skin-culture-model or the animal model, In this lecture I will review the detail of assessment method far evaluation of anti-wrinkle agents in vitro and animal model and discuss the pros and cons of each method. Then I will present the results of Preclinical Screening trials, And especially animal model may be a good candidate for evaluation of anti-wrinkle agents.

Observation of Fatigue Crack Growth Behavior in 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V Steel Using Image Processing Technology (영상처리기법을 이용한 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V 강의 피로균열 성장거동 관찰)

  • The development of a new experimental method is required to easily observe the growth behavior of fatigue cracks. To satisfy the requirement, an image processing technique was introduced to fatigue testing. The length of surface fatigue crack could be successfully measured by the image processing system. At first, the image data of cracks were stored into the computer while the cyclic loading was interrupted. After testing, crack length was determined using an image processing software which was developed by authors. Various image processing techniques like a block matching method was applied tc the detection of surface fatigue cracks. By comparing the data measured by the image processing system with those by the manual measurement with a microscope, the effectiveness of the image processing system was established. If the proposed method is used to monitor and observe the crack growth behavior automatically, the time and efforts for fatigue test could be dramatically reduced.

  • Sudden implementation of online classes in higher education due to Covid19 pandemic implies a lot of worries about academic performance declining. Thus, this paper analyzed a class(CalculusI) taught 100% online which was the same as the offline class before. This class tried to maintain the same quality as the offline one by utilizing various teaching strategies. The result shows the academic achievement level was similar or higher than that of offline class, and so was the students' perception and satisfaction degree. However, this was not just the outcome of online class, but it came from the professor's well-designed teaching plan and smooth operation of the class. It implicates successful teaching methodology is more important factor than such medium difference as online or offline. This study suggests the potential of online classes after the Covid19 pandemic, and expects further studies verify the result in a lot more curricula.

  • This study aims to analyze the teaching and learning methods realities and needs in the subjects 'The basis of the Invention Patent'. To this end, research and analysis of the subjects 'The basis of the Invention Patent' the teacher and take advantage of their current teaching and learning methods, 'The basis of the Invention Patent' subject teachers to recognize the most desirable teaching and learning methods, subjects 'The basis of the Invention Patent' of teaching and learning and the operating requirements of the difficult matters. Survey of 48 schools across the country in high school teachers to teach the subjects 'The basis of the Invention Patent' was conducted, the results of this study are as follows. First, a high percentage of theoretical learning activities, teaching methods, such as 'lectures' and take advantage of the higher percentage. Module was to conduct classes such as 'project', 'lab experiments', 'discussion', 'investigation' by taking advantage of the high proportion of practice learning activities. Second, Higher requirements for the experience and practice of student-centered 'lab experiments', 'project', 'Case Studies', 'field trips' and theory-driven rather than 'lectures'. Third, 'The basis of the Invention Patent' subjects 'Teaching and learning important when operating requirements for the degree' as a whole was highly recognized. in particular, operating requirements for teaching and learning in accordance with the former college of education of education than non-group differences were higher overall response. Fourth, 'The basis of the Invention Patent' subjects 'Teaching and learning difficult when operating your degree' as a whole was highly recognized.
