SANITARY SURVEY OF SHELLFISH GROWING AREA ON WEST FOWL RIVER ESTUARY, MOBILE, ALABAMA (미국 Alabama주 West Fowl River 하구 패류서식장에 대한 위생학적 조사)

  • 시판되는 굴, 담치, 백합 등 패류는 깨끗한 수역에서 생산되어야 한다는 것은 공중보건상 매우 중요하다. 따라서 이들 서식해역에 대한 위생상태를 평가하는 것은 패류위생관리에 있어 가장 기본적인 일이다. 본 조사는 미국 Alabama주 West Fowl River 지역에 있어 패류위생관리상 양식장의 등급분류와 관련한 굴(Crassostrea virginica) 및 그 서식수의 위생학적 성상을 알기 위하여 실시되었다. 이 연구는 미국 국제개발처(AID) 연수계획에 의하여 이루워 졌음을 밝혀 둔다. 조사지역에 있어서의 감염원은 가옥, 소업체, 가축, 물새, 야생동물 등에 의한 일반적인 발기물과 배설물로 되어 있고 특별한 하수나 공업배출물은 없었다. 이 조사는 이 지방에 있어 건조기인 10월에 실시되었으며 조사기간중의 총 강우양은 0.08mm, 평균 기온은 $21.3^{\circ}C$, 바람은 동풍이 우세하였다. 저질은 뻘로 되어 있고 저호시 평균수침은 약 1m이며 조사기관중 평균 수온은 $26.0^{\circ}C$였다. 염분은 조사지점에 따라 상이하였으며 바다로 향한 강의 흐름에 따라 증가하고 평균 염분은 $18.0\~28.7\%$의 범위에 있었다. 해수 및 굴 양자의 Coliform 함양은 Fecal coliform 보다 시종 높았으며 Coliform 및 Fecal coliform의 수는 바다로 향한 강의 흐름에 따라 점차 감소하였다. 이것은 해수의 오염은 주로 지표수의 유입에 의한다는 것을 말하고 있다. 굴의 Coliform 및 Fecal coliform MPN은 해수의 그것보다 $11\~12$배 높았다. 조사수역에 설정한 7개소 Sampling station 중 오직 Station 7만이 패류양식장 허가해역의 세균학적 수질기준에 합당하였으며 굴의 Fecal coliform MPN은 시판용 패류의 세균학적 기준을 초과하고 있었다. EC test 양성시험관에서 분리된 세균의 $97.6\%$가 E. coli group로 나타나 EC test는 Echerichie Coli 시험에 매우 효과적인 방법임을 알 수 있다.

Study on Attitude of the Elderly among College Students in Physical Therapy through social science convergence (사회과학적 융합을 통한 물리치료학과 학생들의 노인에 대한 태도 조사)

  • Purpose is the purpose of this study is to develop medical services for the elderly and qualitatively enhance physical therapy for them by analyzing Korean students' attitudes of the elderly through social science convergence. Methods is a total of 1027 male/female undergraduate students majoring in physical therapy were selected to examine the attitudes of the elderly. T-test, One-way-ANOVA and Scheff test were used. Result is positive attitudes toward the elderly was 46.0%. 51.48% in the population over 30, and 47.52% in the male group was more positive. In addition, when the elderly with no experience in the relevant lecture course (t = -2.035, p = 0.0042) in elderly and when the living experience more positive attitudes (t = 2.951, p = 0.003). Conclusion is education of students in the process of aging of the elderly in a positive standpoint, lectures and hands-on so that you can see the need to change direction.

Degradation Evaluation of 1Cr-lMo-0.25V Steel by Measuring Reversible Magnetic Permeability (가역 투자율 측정에 의한 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V 강의 열화도 평가)

  • The integrity of the turbine rotors can be assessed by measuring reversible permeability and Vickers hardness of the aged rotors at service temperature. The measurement system of reversible permeability, which measured by applied alternating perturbing magnetic field, was constructed in order to evaluate material degradation, nondestructively. The test specimen was 1Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel used widely for turbine rotor material, and the specimens were prepared by the isothermal heat treatment at $630\;^{\circ}C$. The reversible permeability of the test materials were measured at room temperature. The peak interval of reversible permeability and Vickers hardness decreased with the increase of degradation. The degradation of test material may be determined nondestructively by the lineality of Vickers hardness and the peak interval of reversible permeability.

  • Teaching is communication between instructor and students. The learning outcomes can be enhanced by active learning of students. However, there are many obstacles to effective learning below, such as lecture notes authored by instructor, passive student participation, and paper-based homework. In this paper, we propose an effective method for enhancing learning effect through constructing learner ontologies in which knowledge discovered by students is conceptualized and organized. The learning ontology is composed of a teacher ontology and many learner ontologies. The learning ontology is used in discussion, visual presentation, and knowledge sharing between instructor and students. We used the learning ontology in two lectures in practice and learned that the learning ontology enhances learning effect through analysis of feedbacks of students.

  • The Many universities and educational institutions have focused on shifting education paradigm into smart learning using high-tech devices and internet as the level of technology has growing rapidly in every society. Especially, cyber universities and open universities in Korea are trying to develop educational network system and infrastructure corresponding to new convergence technology environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to introduce clouded based education system in order to suggest an effective way of using new educational learning system. This study shows the case of Hangout learning system used in K University in Korea to suggest a new educational learning model for real-time lecture and cloud based service platform for improving educational learning environment.

A Study on the Microscopic Fracture Characteristics of A533B-1 Nuclear Pressure Vessel Steels (A533B-1 원자로 압력용기 강의 미시적 파괴특성에 관한 연구)

  • The strain rate effects on fracture toughness and fracture resistance characteristics of A533B-1 nuclear pressure vessel steels were examined in the quasi-dynamic test conditions through the microscopic investigation of the intense strain region around crack tip and the microroughness of fracture surface. J-value calculated from the recrystallization etch technique was the same as calculated from the modified-J when the crack extension is less than 1.5mm in a 1/2T-CT specimen. Local fracture strain was calculated from the fracture surface micro-roughness. The local strains were calculated to be the values of 1.8 and 2.0 and were much higher than the macroscopically measured values. It was nearly independent on strain rate and was regarded as a material constant in ductile dimpled rupture. The fracture toughness increased with increase in strain rate while the tearing modulus showed little variation.

  • 해양환경용 구조물은 극심한 부식 환경에 노출되어 있고 부식손상으로 인한 직간접적 경제적 손실이 발생하고 있는 상황이다. 이에 대한 방식대책으로써 음극방식법이 선박, 교량, 각종 화학장비에 널리 이용되고 있으며, 이러한 산업분야에 가장 흔히 적용되고 있는 음극방식 중 하나가 피방식체에 일정 전류 또는 음극 전위를 인가하는 외부전원법이다. 이는 전도성 부식환경인 해수환경 하에서 철강 및 해양환경용 구조 재료의 내식성을 월등히 향상시킬 수 있기 때문에 설계에 있어서 고급 내식재료 대신 경제적인 상용 재료를 적용할 수 있어 비용 절감효과를 가질 수 있다. 한편 적정 방식전위에서는 부식손상으로부터 강재를 보호하지만, 과방식 전위에서는 취성이 발생함으로써 내구성 감소의 역효과가 나타날 수도 있기 때문에 최적 방식전위의 규명은 반드시 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 S355ML강에 대하여 천연해수 용액에서 다양한 정전위를 조건으로 전기화학실험을 실시하여 최적 방식전위를 규명하고자 하였다. 시험편은 에머리 페이퍼로 2000번까지 연마하였고, 아세톤과 증류수로 세척하여 실험하였다. 전기화학(정전위) 실험은 천연해수 속에서 $1.28cm^2$의 면적만을 노출시켜 진행하였으며, OCP로부터 -2.0V까지의 음극분극 곡선을 분석하여 정전위 조건들을 선정하였다. 그리고 외부 직류전원장치를 이용하여 1,200초 동안 다양한 정전위를 인가하였으며, 기준전극은 Ag/AgCl 전극을 이용하였다. 실험 후에는 주사전자현미경과 3D 현미경을 통해 시험편 표면을 관찰하였으며, 그 결과 일부 음극분극 구간에서 강재 표면에 전착물에 의한 뷸균일한 피막이 형성되었다. 또한, 일정 전위구간에서 용해 및 과전압에 대하여 표면손상 정도를 관찰하여, 해수환경 하에서 S355ML강의 최적 방식전위를 규명하였다.

The Effectiveness of Clinical Practice Education using Checklist on Performance of Delirium Care for Nursing Students (간호학생 대상의 체크리스트를 활용한 임상실습교육이 섬망간호 수행에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of clinical practice education using delirium checklist for nursing students. The study was used pretest-posttest design with single group with 91 fourth year nursing students. The study measured the delirium knowledge, self-confidence and performance of delirium care using structured questionnaire from August 14 to September 30, 2017. The delirium education was composed of one hour lecture and clinical practice. Clinical practice was applied checklists of delirium assessment and prevention care. In result, significant improvements were found in delirium knowledge(t=-11.23, p<.001), self-confidence(t=-11.00, p<.001) and performance(t=-5.31, p<.001) of delirium care. Based results of this study, it was found that delirium education using checklist improved delirium knowledge, self-confidence and performance levels of delirium care for nursing students.

A Study on the Effectiveness of Algorithm Education Based on Problem-solving Learning (문제해결학습의 알고리즘 교육의 효과성 연구)

  • In the near future, as artificial intelligence and computing network technology develop, collaboration with artificial intelligence (AI) will become important. In an AI society, the ability to communicate and collaborate among people is an important element of talent. To do this, it is necessary to understand how artificial intelligence based on computer science works. An algorithmic education focused on problem solving and learning is efficient for computer science education. In this study, the results of an assessment of computational thinking at the beginning of the semester, a satisfaction survey at the end of the semester, and academic performance were compared and analyzed for 28 students who received algorithmic education focused on problem-solving learning. As a result of diagnosing students' computational thinking and problem-solving learning, teaching methods, lecture satisfaction, and other environmental factors, a correlation was found, and regression analysis confirmed that problem-solving learning had an effect on improving lecture satisfaction and computational thinking ability. For algorithmic education, if you pursue a problem-solving learning technique and a way to improve students' satisfaction, it will help students improve their problem-solving skills.

Flipped Learning mathematics impact on the University Academic Achievement (Flipped Learning이 대학수학의 학업성취도에 미치는 영향)

  • Flipped Learning is being suggested which is well known as a teaching method which lets students learn the contents they will learn in advance through the advance online video and have a discussion through the team interaction in the main class for them to solve the assignment through the cooperation in a self-initiated way. Therefore, this study was intended to confirm if the flipped learning class could improve the students' learning ability and raising the interest in math by complementing the problem on the lecture-type class by applying the flipped learning class to the college basic math subject. As a result, in the unit test result, the average score of the experimental group was more than 20 higher than one of the control group indicating that Flipped Learning had a great effect on improving the learning ability, and as for the introspection journal analysis, many subjects from the experimental group showed the positive attitude toward math they felt difficult unlike ones from control group indicating that it was effective in improving the interest level.
