강괴철심회전자를 가진 유도전도기의 토오크 해석 (Analysis on Torque of Solid Iron Rotor Induction Motor (In Rotor without Slot))

  • The purpose of this paper is, as a preliminary step to study on the method of analysing the torque of toothed solid iron rotor, to make an inquiry into the torque calculation formula of homogenious solid iron rotor without slot. The starting point for its theoretical analysis on torque generated by eddy current in solid iron rotor is based on the maximum air gap flux density. In solid rotor induction motor, torque generated by rotor core is considerably large in the range of large slip. The calculated value and observed value on the test machine are also examined in this paper.

  • 본 연구에서는 업셋팅의 변형해석 및 온도해석(열전달 해석)을 비연계 방식으 로 동시에 해석하고 실제 공정에 가깝게 접근하는 축대칭 열점소성 유한요소 프로그램 을 이용하여, 시뮬레이션에 의해 공정을 해석하여 불량감소 및 원가절감을 위해 단조 공정을 개선하는 것이다. 업셋팅공정의 연구에 있어서는 대형강괴의 주 불량요인인 기공의 소멸을 위한 공정방안을 연구하는데 있다.

  • The solid-iron rotor induction motor is the squirral cage type induction motor with its rotor core consisting of solid iron in stead of a laminated core. The specific feature of this motor are that its structure is simple and firm, and therefore provides the great convenience in its operation and that its starting characteristic are excellent. this study is aimedto derive the equation for theroretical evaluation of the speed-torque characteristics of the motor by use of maxwell's equation. Through the series of test on the speed-torque characteristics of this motor which is experimentally constructed, we have proved the feasibility of the equaiton which is derived theoretically to calculate the torque of the motor. In addition we have obtained its general charastristics experimentally.

  • Cogging is generally the initial and primary step in the manufacture of practically all large open-die forgings, and consists of forging and ingot by reducing the cross-section and simultaneously enlarging the body. A three-dimensional thermo-viscoplastic finite element model is used to study the distribution of internal stresses and strains of workpiece and temperature of workpiece and die during cogging process. Simulations are carried out on an circular ingot, using v-die and flat die, to study the effects of die configuration, die width, penetration depth, temperature gradient, die overlapping and pass design.

12%Cr 대형강괴(大型鋼塊)의 편석경감(偏析輕減)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Reduction of Segregation in Large 12%Cr Steel Ingot)

  • In order to reduce segregation in 12%Cr steel ingots of 60-100tons, numerical analysis by computer was applied to simulate solidification profiles and the profiles of liguid-solid coexisting zone in accordance with the ratios of H(Height) /D(diameter) of 100-ton ingot. The result is that the ratio of L(vertical length) /D(diameter) of liquid-solid coexisting zone was reduced in proportion to the decrease of H/D ratio. With the reduced H/D ratio(0.92) of ingot, the segregation in 60-ton ingot of 12% Cr steel can be much reduced and recovery was also improved by reducing ingot weight.

  • A crank throw, which is one of the crankshaft part for a large diesel engine is manufactured by closed die forging or open die forging. For the purpose of improvement of productivity the open die forging is usually adopted these days. However it has disadvantage of low yield ratio compare to closed die forging. To overcome this problem, the material properties for hot top and bottom zones of ingot are investigated to utilize them to the product and a modified forging process to reduce the material loss of ingot body through forging analysis according to forging factors(a , R, Ø$\sub$B/, Ø$\sub$D/) is suggested.

  • Internal contact scheme between two free surfaces on one deforming body has been proposed by using the penalty method. It has been imposed to be internal boundary condition on two-dimensional thermo-viscoplastic finite element method so as to analyze one deforming body, which has two free surfaces penetrating each others. Analysis of side pressing with a circular void and a inclined elliptic hole have been carried out in order to verity the proposed contact scheme. A finite element code imposed internal boundary condition has been applied to two-dimensional analysis of free forging of large ingot with a void. Through the analysis, effects of working parameters in order to consolidate voids have been investigated.

열간 판재단조시 강괴 내부의 기공폐쇄에 관한 연구 (Study on Internal Void Closure in Slab ingot during Hot Plate Forging)

  • In order to investigate the effect of pre-cooling of ingot on void closure in hot plate forging the internal strain and stress distributions are examined quantitatively by using ABAQUS. Simula-tions are carried out on a large slab ingot having the same temperature and the temperature gradient induced by air-cooling. It is shown that pre-cooling produces little effect on the strain behavior but remarkable effect on the hydrostatic stress at the central zone of ingot. The main factors for crushing micro-voids are the effective strain and the time integral of hydrostatic stress in the region surrounding the voids. Based on regression analysis it was found that the distortion of void can be expressed as a polynomial function of the two factors.

  • The studies for internal void closure have been conducted experimentally and numerically for open die forging. The FEM analysis is performed to investigate the deformation behavior of some internal voids in cast ingots during two upsetting stages. The calculated results of void closure behavior are compared with the measured results before and after upsetting. The shapes and sizes of each internal void are scanned by the X-ray scanner. From this result, the criteria for deformation amounts effect on the void closure can be investigated by the types of void. Closed voids could be compressed and eliminated after forging when the applied deformation amounts were larger than the critical effective strains. On the other hand, open voids could not be compressed and removed.

  • 인장시험할 때 최대하중점을 넘으며 네킹이 발생하여 단면에 분포하는 응력이 더 이상 균일하지 않다. 네킹이 진행될수록 상당응력은 축방향 응력과 더 달라진다. 이 네킹현상을 극복하고 진응력-진변형도 곡선을 결정하는 방법이 이제까지 많이 연구개발되었다. 그 중에서 유한요소해석 시뮬레이션을 이용하는 방법이 매력적이다. 이 논문에서는 범용상용 프로그램을 사용하여 인장시험을 시뮬레이션하였다. 같은 강괴에서 채취한 봉상시편과 판상시편을 인장시험하고 시뮬레이션하였다. Hollomon 법칙을 가정하지 않고 진응력-진변형도 곡선을 결정하였다.
