The purpose of this study was to identify nursing research trends for the consciousness of bioethics published in korea. A total of 30 studies were analyzed using descriptive statistics. 70% of the studies was published for the last five years, and 76.7% of studies were conducted in a descriptive study. Nursing students accounted for 83.1% in terms of the participants, and a questionnaire was used for the data collections in the entire studies. The studies considered ethical aspect accounted for 90.0%. In the experimental studies, the nursing intervention was a education program, and dependent variables of the studies included consciousness of bioethics, moral sensitivity, critical thinking and moral judgment. Among the top 10 priorities in the key words, the first priorities was the bio-medical ethics. In conclusion, it is suggested to develop an expanding-iterative studies, qualitative studies, and development of bioethics programs for nurses.

Purpose: This descriptive cross-sectional study aimed to examine the influence of nurses' moral sensitivity and ethical values on their biomedical ethics awareness. Methods: The study participants included 140 registered nurses working at three hospitals in Jeollabuk-do Province over six months. The data were collected from June 22 to July 3, 2020, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis with the IBM SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. Results: As a result of an analysis using stepwise multiple regression, nurses' biomedical ethics awareness was found to be significantly influenced by ethical values (β=.36, p<.001), moral sensitivity (β=.21, p=.007), and education in biomedical ethics (β=.16, p=.042) (adjusted R²=.21, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings suggest that moral sensitivity and ethical values are key factors in hospital nurses' development of biomedical ethics. Furthermore, the devising and implementing of a practical education program based on practical cases in medical situations to enhance nurses' biomedical ethics awareness is needed.

The purpose of this study was to identify the awareness of biomedical ethics and attitudes toward human tissue donation and transplantation among Nursing students and General college students. The study was conducted on 2016 May 1st to June 10th with 521 students at two universities. Study results showed awareness of biomedical ethics score of nursing students was 2.16 and general college students 2.01, which was statistically significant difference. Attitude scores towards human tissue donation and transplantation were 2.52 and 2.50, not statistically significant (t=4.671, p=.000). Study results indicate the need to establish biomedical ethics preferred curriculum. It also seems necessary to offer students related systematic training program in order to increase the awareness of bio-medical ethics.

The purpose of this converged study was to investigate the level of perceived ethical confidence, character, nursing professional value and moral sensitivity as well as to identify the factors influencing the perceived ethical confidence in nurses. The study evaluated on 174 nurses working in general hospital in D and S Province. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, Multiple regression. As a result, the level of perceived ethical confidence was moderate score. There were positive correlations between perceived ethical confidence and character and nursing professional value and moral sensitivity. The significant factors influencing the perceived ethical confidence were character, nursing professional value, moral sensitivity, which explained 25% of variance in perceived ethical confidence. Based on these findings, education programs that develop character and nursing professional value and moral sensitivity are necessary for nurses to promote perceived ethical confidence.

Purpose: This study was performed to identify the influence of nursing professionalism and campus environment on the perception of ethical sensitivity among nursing students. Methods: A descriptive survey design was used for this study. The participants were 323 nursing students attending four universities in Busan and Kyungnam. Data collection was conducted from November 25 to December 25, 2017 using a self-report questionnaire. Data were analyzed using a t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The factors influencing ethical sensitivity of nursing students were identified as professional self-concept (${\beta}=.36$), nursing role (${\beta}=.24$), scholarship (${\beta}=.17$), practicability (${\beta}=.17$), and propriety (${\beta}=-.13$). Five factors explained 40.5% of nursing students' ethical sensitivity. Conclusion: The results of this study can be used to develop further educational programs on nursing professionalism and campus environments for enhancement of nursing students' ethical sensitivity.

This study examined the relationship between internet ethics, self-control, nursing professionalism, and patient privacy awareness among nursing students with clinical practice experience, and attempted to provide basic data for the development of patient privacy awareness improvement programs reflecting the flow of information age. The data collection period was from November 20 to December 15, 2023. The questionnaires of 142 nursing students who agreed to participate in this study and were enrolled in D and C universities in Daejeon Metropolitan City and Cheongju City were analyzed. The results showed that nursing professionalism and self-control were the influential factors on nursing students' perception of patient privacy. The explanatory power of these variables was 24%. In conclusion, in order to improve the patient privacy awareness of nursing students, it is necessary to explore ways to promote the ethical awareness of internets and develop educational programs to increase nursing professionalism.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing hospice intervention strategies that can enhance hospice care perception plus attitude toward death of nursing students by grasping the factors affecting the perception of first grade students. Data were collected from 185 nursing students at J university in G-do. Analysis was done using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multiple regression with IBM SPSS WIN/25.0. Hospice care perception was correlated to moral behavior (r=.22, p=.002) and biomedical ethics consciousness (r=.29, p<.001). The most influential factor on the subjects' hospice care perception was biomedical ethics consciousness (β=.224, p=.012), followed by high financial competence of parents (β=.187, p=.027). The explanatory power was 11.5%. Therefore, systematic programs that can enhance moral behavior and biomedical ethics consciousness are necessary to promote awareness of hospice care. Also, the following data can be utilized as basic data to help develop hospice education programs.

The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data for improving the coping ability of clinical nurses by deeply analyzing and understanding the bioethics dilemma the clinical nurses experience in the COVID-19 pandemic. To understand the essence of bioethics dilemma the clinical nurses would experience in the COVID-19 pandemic, this study interviewed with a clinical nurse and then analyzed it by using Colaizzi (1978)'s phenomenological method. In the results of this study, total three theme clusters were drawn such as 'Agony to face a situation that violates the principle of respect for man's life and dignity', 'Frustration and confusion caused by the situation in which the principle of good deed and prohibition of evil deed cannot be kept', and 'Doubt about fulfilling and not fulfilling the principle of justice'. To improve the ability to cope with bioethics dilemma the clinical nurses experience in the pandemic situation based on the results of this study, it would be necessary to establish the education and policy for clinical nurses, and also to make efforts to improve the treatment of nurses.

The purpose of this study was to investigate nurses' ethical dilemma and professionalism in long-term care hospitals. Participants in this study were 210 nurses working in 14 long-term care hospitals. Data analysis was done using SPSS / WIN 24.0 program. As a result of this study, the ethical dilemma of the nurse was moderate. The highest sub-area was 'nurse-patient relationship' and 'respect of life and human rights' was the lowest sub-area. The professionalism of the subjects was moderate, and the score of 'sense of mission' area was the lowest. Nursing ethics guidelines should be developed that reflect the ethical dilemma of nurses in long-term care hospitals, and will provide the right values for the ethical dilemma that nurses face in their workplace. When planning the nurses' professionalism education, it is necessary to have a strategy to enhance the sense of mission by emphasizing beliefs and values about nursing care.
