  • The purpose of this study is to develop a family resilience program for families of children with ADHD. For this purpose, a preliminary program was developed as a pre-program development stage and its effectiveness was evaluated. To develop a preliminary program, a prior study was reviewed before developing the program, which was carried out. The program was conducted after recruiting seven mothers of children diagnosed with ADHD. It was operated for a total of eight sessions, two times a week, for 120 minutes. A single system design was designed to assess the effectiveness of the developed Family Resilience program. Then, the Family Resilience goals of the individuals set by the research participants were measured. The results of the study showed a slight increase in scores for all participants in the program. By discussing the effects, limitations and suggestions of the developed preliminary program, we hope that a family resilience program for families of children with ADHD will be developed based on this preliminary program research.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore what social media posts tell us about family life during the COVID-19 pandemic by examining the keywords and topics underlying posts on blogs and online forums. Our criteria for web crawling were (a) blog and forum posts on Naver and Daum, the top portal sites in Korea, (b) posts between February 23 and April 19, 2020, the period of the first heightened social distancing orders, and (c) inclusion of "COVID" and "family" or "COVID" and "home." We analyzed 351,734 posts using TF-IDF values and topic modeling based on latent Dirichlet allocation. We identified and named 22 topics including COVID-19 prevention, family infection, family health, dietary life and changes, religious life, stuck at home, postponed school year, family events, travel and vacations, concerns about family and friends, anxiety and stress, disaster and damage, COVID-19 warning text messages, family support policies, Shin-cheon-ji and Daegu. • With the development of society, changes in the family structure of China's residents and the increase in family income, parent-child travel has gradually become a new hotspot for tourism consumption. It is important for tourism marketers to understand the needs and motivations of parent-child travelers. This study explored the push and pull motivations of parent-child travelers by conducting a questionnaire survey of 290 travelers to parent-child farms and validated the path relationships between push and pull motivations, experiences and behavioral intentions. The result indicated that: 3 push factors were derived from the factor analysis of 13 push items and were named as 'For children & Family', 'Escape & Relax', and 'Socialization'; 3 pull factors were derived from the factor analysis of 11 pull items and were labeled: 'Facilities & Safety', 'Theme activities', and 'Environment'. Through sub hypotheses testing, the results show that push-pull motivation of parent-child travelers has a positive effect on their experience(4Es) for attending. 'Esthetics Experience' has the highest effect on the parent-child travelers' behavioral intentions, followed by 'Education Experience' and 'Entertainment Experience'.

  • In this study, we investigate the current status of family friendly management and determinants of its level. We choose measures about family friendly management and use their results from ESG evaluation model by Korea Corporate Governance Service. We find that firms with larger size, lower leverage and higher firm value are more family friendly. And in contrast to previous studies, firms are more family friendly when they have less women to total employees. But firms with higher largest shareholder holdings are less family friendly. These results show that listed firms in Korea should be more family friendly considering their level of woman employment. Also the interest and support from top management are needed for activating family friendly management, but largest shareholder of korean firms are not active yet.
