The Effect of SNS Information Attributes on Usability and Diffusion Intention -Moderating Effect of Market Mavenism. (SNS정보속성이 유용성지각과 확산의도에 미치는 영향 -마켓메이븐경향(Market Mavenism)의 조절효과-)

  • The purpose of this study is to search information attributes suitable for SNS and to identify the influence of individuals or groups who contribute to the creation and diffusion of information in the SNS. The researchers extracted the accuracy, two-sided information, novelty, diversity, and experiential factors that influence the acceptance and diffusion of information in the SNS, and identified the relationships among the variables, the usefulness of information and the degree of information diffusion intention. And researchers studied market maven who play the key role in creating and diffusing SNS information. A total of 600 questionnaires were collected and 549 questionnaires were used to test the research hypothesis. The results of the study are as follows. Consumers considered information, which had accuracy, two-sided, and experiential attributes, as useful. But novelty or diversity information were regarded as unuseful because of motive to avoid ambiguity. In the Market Maven Group who have the ability to acquire and edit SNS information, however, there were weak or negative causality between experience and accuracy and information usability factors. but positive causality between novelty and diversity factors of information and usability.

An Investigation into Students' Perception of Problem-Based Learning Implemented in Middle School Open-Inquiry Program (문제 중심 학습에 대한 학생들의 인식 탐색: 중학교 1학년 과학 자유탐구 수업 사례를 중심으로)

  • Problem-based learning (PBL) is an effective teaching-learning strategy for enhancing students' motivation, problem solving ability, and creativity. Its educational values coincide with the aim of open-inquiry activity introduced in 2007 revised national curriculum. From this aspect we designed the PBL open-inquiry program and implemented to 202 first year middle school students in Gyeonggi provincial office of education for one semester. We developed an energy related PBL problem. The program was designed in four steps: 'understand the problem,' 'investigate information,' 'solve the problem,' and 'present and evaluate the result.' Through the program, students did such activities as 'make Know/need to know chart,' 'group discussion,' 'search information,' and 'preparation of group report.' After completing the program, a survey was conducted to understand the students' perception of the program. The results are as follows: First, 40.6% of students showed positive attitude toward the program. Especially, students responded that 'make Know/need to know chart' was very useful. However, some students responded that 'search information' and 'preparation of group report' were difficult to perform. Second, male students showed positive attitude toward the PBL program compared to female students. Also students had higher scores in attitude toward science, showed more positive attitude toward the PBL program. Third, there was a significant correlation between attitude toward science and perception of PBL steps. Based on survey results, some suggestions were made for teachers who were planning to implement PBL in open-inquiry program.

Dilution and redundancy effects on Stroop interference (스트룹 간섭의 희석 및 중복 효과)

  • It is well known that visual objects belonging to the same perceptual category compete for category-specific, limited-capacity attentional resource. However, it remains to be seen how perceptually identical objects interact with each other during visual analyses. Perceptually identical objects might suppress each other as much as categorically identical objects do. Alternatively, they might cooperate to generate a perceptual representation which is long lasting and robust to noise. Such possibilities were tested in the current research with three behavioral experiments using the Stroop task. As results, relative to a single distractor, Stroop interference was diluted by two different distractors of a category while it was enhanced by two perceptually identical distractors (Experiment 1). This redundancy effect disappeared when two different distractors associated with the same response were presented (Experiment 2), and it was not affected by the between- vs. within-hemisphere distractor presentations (Experiment 3). These findings indicate that the redundancy effect of distractors may be mediated by perceptual representations based on hemisphere-independent attentional resources. Overall, the current study supports the hypothesis that Stroop interference is constrained by category-specific attentional resources and further suggests that redundant presentations of a stimulus overcome such attentional constraints by facilitating perceptual processing.

  • Research data means data in the form of facts, observations, images, computer program results, recordings, measurements or experiences on which an argument, theory, test or hypothesis, or another research output is based. Data may be numerical, descriptive, visual or tactile. Scientific research is changing because of the paradigm shift. It is all being affected by the data deluge, and a data-intensive science paradigm is emerging. Hence, paradigm shift in scientific research led to increase of value and importance of scientific data. Essential to the creative research and development for scientific data can be reused efficiently is the sharing and utilization of establishing management system. Establishing of management system for sharing and utilization of scientific data should be done at the national level, but compared with Europe, Australia, the United States, China, the management system of Korea doesn't have not linkage or efficiency or internal stability. Australia, the United States, China continues to expand a Mid- and Long-Term policy making, legislation, its investment in infrastructure, so as to promote the utilization of data, such as collection, management and maintenance of scientific data through the relevant agencies at the national level. This study consider legislation cases and management policies of the above countries to the end to that establish management system for the efficient and fair sharing and utilization of scientific data and the legal system, and that provide scientific data legislation and policies related to the future of our country.

  • The major pathogenesis of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is an inflammatory process that results from a diversity of injuries to the body. Due to the various cytokines and vasoactive peptides released from the endothelium, the vascular permeability is increased; the migration of inflammatory cells and the leakage of plasma proteins then occur and edema develops in the alveolus. There is a hypothesis that the impairment of alveolar recruitment in ARDS is caused by a defect of the surfactant system and the resultant increase of alveolar surface tension. This has been studied in pediatric patients in ARDS; after the administration of surfactant, hypoxia, respiratory symptoms and survival chances were improved. To alleviate the major pathogenic mechanism in this disease, that is to say, inflammation of the lung, steroids have been used and studied as another treatment modality for ARDS, and it has been concluded that the administration of low dose methylprednisolone may improve patients' symptoms and survival rates. We report here on a case of a young infant admitted with ARDS, who, after the intratracheal administration of 120 mg/kg surfactant, on $PaO_2/FiO_2$ was elevated. Subsequent low doses of methylprednisolone were given, and the symptoms did not recur, and no fibrotic change was shown during the follow-up period of 2 months.

Understanding of Lee, Je-ma's View of Form and Interpretation of Form of Face (이제마(李濟馬)의 형상관(形象觀)이해와 안면부(顔面部) 형태의 해석)

  • Lee, Je-ma proposed ways like Chehyungkisang to judge each constitution, so, on the basis of this, we can judge constitution in various ways. Such a theory is based on behavior determinism's way of thinking of Lee, Je-ma. We can know this that form is not recognized as an object reflecting image, but a subjective concept from Tukyonyodun, Yimokbiku(ears, eyes, nose and mouth), Hameokjebok of Sungmyong Theory. Lee, Je-ma thought each part of human body has not only physical function but also complex temperative function. Putting this consideration and Jangbu Theory describing human body directly, together, it can be said that these all have an established theory on Chehyungkisang of constitution judgement. Thus, the following hypotheses are given. From Sadan Theory and Hwakchung Theory, strength of Jangbu of Sasangin is Pe>Bi>Shin>Kan in Taeyangin and Bi>Pe>Kan>Shin in Soyangin and Kan>Shin>Bi>Pe> in Taeumin and Shin>Kan>Pe>Bi in Soumin. The concept of Shinkihyuljung is related with creation of form and spirit of each Jangkuk and Aenoheerak(sorrow, anger, joy, pleasure). From this viewpoint, Sasangin can be classified into; Taeyangin into Shinkijunghyul type, Taeumin into Hyuljungkishin type, Soumin into Junghyuishinki type. Introduced a fixed way to explain of each constitution according to this strength relationship. I hope more lively discussions on Constitutional Medicine will be continued based on this attempt.

Cyclic Igneous Activities During the Late Paleozoic to Early Cenozoic Period Over the Korean Peninsula (고생대말-신생대초 기간에 일어난 한반도의 주기적 화성활동)

  • There were three cycles of igneous activities from the late Paleozoic to early Cenozoic; Permian to Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous to Paleogene. After the beginning of each igneous activity cycle, igneous activity became more frequent until its climax. It is noteworthy that A-type magmatisms are reported from near the ends of the all three igneous activity cycles. In addition, adakitic magmatisms occurred at the beginning of both the Permian-Triassic and the Cretaceous-Paleogene cycles. Most of the igneous activities during the late Paleozoic to early Cenozoic period were subduction-related. Therefore, transitions among beginning, proceeding, and closing of the igneous activity cycles would be intimately related with changes in directions of plate movements. In this context, I suggest following hypotheses. The closing of the Permian-Triassic igneous cycle was possibly a consequence of radical adjustment of plate motion occurred due to continental collision between north and south China blocks. Considering that no appreciable tectonic activities were recognized from the east Asian continent at the closing of the Jurassic igneous cycle, it seems that one of the strong events related with Gondwanaland-breakup and subsequent birth of the new oceans, which might cause sudden adjustments of plate motions. The closing of the Cretaceous-Paleogene igneous cycle seems to be caused as a consequence of the collision between India and Asia continents. Meanwhile, adakitic igneous bodies emplaced at the beginnings of the Permian-Triassic and Cretaceous-Paleogene cycles could be products of slab-melting during the early stages of the subduction.

  • $I$ $am$ $a$ $Weasel$ > is a radically different communicative form in several ways. It innovatively utilizes podcast, a kind of internet radio format while dealing actively with thorny political issues and scandals in much direct and challenging fashion. Also this program adopts politically-charged parody, sharp critique of current socio-political issues, as well as lively dialogues through which the program provides both acute political awareness and entertainment. As a new kind of talk show and an alternative media form, this program has gained much popularity and attention since its appearance. Considering the fact that the journalistic fields and public spheres are in disarray through the government intervention and wrought with fierce partisanship and political polarization, the role of this program needs to be examined both cautiously and contextually. This study aims to shed some lights on the multifaceted and much contentious role of $I$ $am$ $a$ $Weasel$ > through a textual reading and discourse analysis, as well as email interviews.

  • This paper deals with a 2-D objects recognition algorithm. And in this paper, we present an algorithm which can reduce the computation time in model retrieval by means of hashing technique instead of using the binary~tree method. In this paper, we treat an object boundary as a string of structural units and use an attributed string matching algorithm to compute similarity measure between two strings. We select from the privileged strings a privileged string wIth mmimal eccentricity. This privileged string is treated as the reference string. And thell we wllstructed hash table using the distance between privileged string and the reference string as a key value. Once the database of all model strings is built, the recognition proceeds by segmenting the scene into a polygonal approximation. The distance between privileged string extracted from the scene and the reference string is used for model hypothesis rerieval from the table. As a result of the computer simulation, the proposed method can recognize objects only computing, the distance 2-3tiems, while previous method should compute the distance 8-10 times for model retrieval.

A Study on the Reliable Video Transmission Through Source/Channel Combined Optimal Quantizer for EREC Based Bitstream (EREC 기반 비트열을 위한 Source-Channel 결합 최적 양자화기 설계 및 이를 통한 안정적 영상 전송에 관한 연구)

  • 오류를 수반하는 통신망을 통한 멀티미디어 데이터의 응용은 최근 그 수요가 급증하고 있다. 하지만 그 구현은 많은 문제점들을 야기하는데, 전송된 비디오 데이터에 발생한 오류를 처리하는 문제가 그 중 하나이다. 이는 압축된 비트열에 발생한 오류가 영상의 시-공간 방향으로 심각한 전파 현상을 수반하기 때문이다. 이러한 심각한 오류 전파를 완화하기 위해 본 논문에서는 EREC라 알려진 오류 제한 기법을 적용하고, 적용된 EREC의 오류 전파 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 통해, 압축 부호화된 하나의 기본 블록 (매크로 블록)이 복호시 오류가 생길 확률을 추정하였으며, 추정된 확률의 근사를 통해 양 끝단(전송단과 수신단)에서의 비디오 화질 열화를 예측하였다. 추정 확률의 근사는 매 기본 블록에서 발생된 비트수에 대한 그 기본 블록이 복호시 오류가 생길 확률을 간단한 1차식을 통한 선형 회귀법으로 모델링 되었으며, 따라서 간단한 방법을 통해 양 끝단의 화질 열화를 효과적으로 예측할 수 있었다. 부호화된 비트열이 전송 오류에 보다 강인하게 되도록 하기 위해, 본 논문에서 개발된 화질 열화 모델을 양자화기 선택에 적용함으로써, 새로운 최적 양자화 기법을 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 최적 양자화 기법은, 기존의 양자기 최적화 기법들과는 달리, 복호단에서의 복원 영상 화질이 주어진 비트율에서 최적이 되도록 양자화를 수행한다. H.263 비디오 압축 규격에 적용한 제안 양자화 기법의 실험 결과를 통해, 제안 기법이 매우 적은 계산상의 부하를 비용으로 객관적 화질은 물론 주관적 화질까지 크게 개선할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.내었다.Lc. lacti ssp. lactis의 젖산과 초산의 생성량은 각각 0.089, 0.003과 0.189, 0.003M이었다. 따라서 corn steep liquor는 L. fermentum와 Lc. lactis ssp, lactis 의 생장을 위해 질소 또는 탄소 공급원으로서 배지에 첨가 될 수 있는 우수한 농업 부산물로 판단되었다.징하며 WLWQ에 적용되는 몇 가지 제약을 관찰하고 이를 일반적인 언어원리로 설명한다. 첫째, XP는 주어로만 해석되는데 그 이유는 XP가 목적어 혹은 부가어 등 다른 기능을 할 경우 생략 부위가 생략의 복원 가능선 원리 (the deletion-up-to recoverability principle)를 위배하기 때문이다. 둘째, WLWQ가 내용 의문문으로만 해석되는데 그 이유는 양의 공리(the maxim of quantity: Grice 1975) 때문이다. 평서문으로 해석될 경우 WP에 들어갈 부분이 XP의 자질의 부분집합에 불과하므로 명제가 아무런 정보제공을 하지 못한다. 반면 의문문 자체는 정보제공을 추구하지 않으므로 앞에서 언급한 양의 공리로부터 자유롭다. 셋째, WLWQ의 XP는 주제어 표지 ‘는/-은’을 취하나 주어표지 ‘가/-이’는 취하지 못한다(XP-는/-은 vs. XP-가/-이). 이는 IP내부 에 비공범주의 존재 여부에 따라 C의 음운형태(PF)가 시성이 정해진다는 가설로 설명하고자 했다. WLWQ에 대한 우리의 논의가 옳다면, 본 논문은 다음과 같은 이론적 함의를 기닌다. 첫째, WLWQ의 존재는 생략에 대한 두 이론 즉 LF 복사 이론과 PF 삭제 이론
