  • In this work, the hydration behaviour of portland cement pastes containing fly ash, blast-furnace slag and silica fume is investigated by Impedance Spectroscopy(IS). As fly ash or blast-furnace slag was added to portland cement, the values of R$_{t(s+1)}$ and R$_{t(s+1)}$ were decreased in the early hydration period. It showed that hydration of cement containing blending components was slower than it of the reference cement paste with the same W/C ratio. However, the cement paste containing silica fume had a large value of R$_{t(s+1)}$ and R$_{t(int)}$due to very rapid pozzolanic reactivity of silica fume in the hydration time. In OPC-fly ash system, a characteristic plateau region appeared between straight-line and semicircle. The plateau region continued to grow in range with the content of fly ash and the hydration time.

  • Let R be a prime ring (or semiprime ring) with center Z(R), I a nonzero ideal of R, T an automorphism of $R,S:R^n{\rightarrow}R$ be a symmetric skew n-derivation associated with the automorphism T and ${\Delta}$ is the trace of S. In this paper, we shall prove that S($x_1,{\ldots},x_n$) = 0 for all $x_1,{\ldots},x_n{\in}R$ if any one of the following holds: i) ${\Delta}(x)=0$, ii) [${\Delta}(x),T(x)]=0$ for all $x{\in}I$. Moreover, we prove that if $[{\Delta}(x),T(x)]{\in}Z(R)$ for all $x{\in}I$, then R is a commutative ring.

  • Dielectric properties of Ba(ZnS11/3TTaS12/3T)OS13T+x ZnO(x=0, 0.4, 0.8, 1.0 wt%) ceramics have been investigated at microwave frequencies. With excess ZnO, the sinterability was improved and the dielectric constant($\varepsilon$S1rT) and the unloaded quality factor(QS1UT) were increased. The structure changed into hexagonal from pseudocubic as being annealed at 140$0^{\circ}C$ in excess ZnO composition. Also, the temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency ($\tau$S1fT) turned into (-)ppm/$^{\circ}C$ when sintered at 155$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. But the specimen sintered in ZnO muffling showed increased density and $\varepsilon$S1rT but lowerde QS1uT. Among the specimen investigated, expecially the composition added with 0.4wt% excess ZnO showed the most optimum dielectric values ($\varepsilon$S1rT=28, QS1uT x f=120000GHz) better than those of original Ba(ZnS11/2T TaS12/3T)OS13T ceramics.

  • Our objective is to investigate approximate controllability of a class of partial integrodifferential systems. This work continuous the investigations of [8]. As a model for this class one may take the equation $\frac{\partialy(t,\;\xi)}{\partialt}\;=\;\frac{\partial}{\partial\xi}(a(t,\;\xi\frac{\partialy(t,\;\xi)}{\partial\xi})\;+\;F(t,\;y(t\;-\;r,\;\xi),\;{{\int_0}^t}\;k(t,\;s,\;y(s\;-\;r,\;\xi))ds)\;+\;b(\xi)u(t),\;0\;\leq\;\xi\;\leq\;1,\;\leq\;t\;\leq\;T$ with initial-boundary conditions y(t,\;0)\;=\;y(t,\;1)\;=\;0,\;0\;\leq\;t\;\leq\;T,\;y(t,\;\xi)\;=\;\phi(t,\;\xi),\;0\;\leq\;1,\;-r\;\leq\;t\;\leq\;0$.(omitted)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the factors determining core journals in a field based upon the results of the citation analysis of the journals in the field of Korean History(KH). In order to verify the determinant factors, dividing the articles of the KH journals into their novelty and author's seniority, the following hypotheses were established. Hypothesis 1: When a KH journal publishes more articles on prehistoric and ancient eras than others, the journal will have higher chance to be included in the core journals. Hypothesis 2: When a KH journal publishes more articles by senior researchers than others, the journal will have higher chance to be included in the core journals. To achieve the purpose, the cited articles found in the two sample journals, namely, Backsan Hakbo and Hanguksa Yongu were analysed during the past 20 years from 1962 to 1981. Applying the Hirst's Discipline Impact Factor method to the the study, Historical Science Impact Factor(HSIF) on the samples itself and the historical era dealt with in the articles and the seniority of the authors during every five-year period. Based upon thr present study to ver~fy the two hypotheses, the following conclusions have been reached. 1) Tht. most influencing sublect mattcr era or1 thix liSIF of the lo~lrual is arranged in prehistoric arid ancient, Koryo, Chosun, recent era, and the others by order of era. 2 ) Clial~g~~lg a fringe or semicore journal u~to a core j ~ u r n a l , very IISIF' 011 it> article e r a 1s grown up arrd prcllistoric a ~ ~ d ancierlt era:. are, s p c c ~ a l l ~ , incr.eased high relatively. • Let $\mathcal{S}^{\prime}(\mathbb{R})$ be the dual of the Schwartz spaces $\mathcal{S}(\mathbb{R})$), A be a self-adjoint operator in $L^2(\mathbb{R})$ and ${\Gamma}(A)^*$ be the adjoint operator of ${\Gamma}(A)$ which is the second quantization operator of A. It is proven that under a suitable condition on A there exists a nuclear subspace $\mathcal{S}$ of a fundamental space $\mathcal{S}_A$ of Hida's type on $\mathcal{S}^{\prime}(\mathbb{R})$) such that ${\Gamma}(A)\mathcal{S}{\subset}\mathcal{S}$ and $e^{-t{\Gamma}(A)}\mathcal{S}{\subset}\mathcal{S}$, which enables us to show that a stochastic differential equation: $$dX(t)=dW(t)-{\Gamma}(A)^*X(t)dt$$, arising from the central limit theorem for spatially extended neurons has an unique solution on the dual space $\mathcal{S}^{\prime}$ of $\mathcal{S}$.

  • For a Borel function ${\psi}:\mathbb{R}{\times}\mathbb{R}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{R}$ satisfying the functional equation $\psi$ (s + t, u + v) + $\psi$(s - t, u - v) = $2\psi$(s, u) + $2\psi$(t, v), we show that it satisfies the functional equation $$\psi$$(s, t) = s(s - t)$$\psi$$(1, 0) + $$st\psi$$(1, 1) + t(t - s)$$\psi$$(0, 1). Using this, we prove the stability of the functional equation f(ax + ay, bz + bw) + f(ax - ay, bz - bw) = 2abf(x, z) + 2abf(y,w) in Banach modules over a unital $C^*$-algebra.
