Let a p-component vector y have a p-variate normal distribution $N(b\theta, \Sigma), \Sigma$ unknown, b specified, then for testing $\theta = 0$ against general $\theta$, Khatri and Rao (1987) derive a certain t test and obtain its power function. This paper presents a direct derivation of this power function in terms of the original variates unlike Khatri and Rao (1987) who resort to the canonical transformations of the original variates and the conditional distributions.

Let G be a cyclic group of prime power order p^k, and let I be the augmentation ideal of the integral group ring ℤ[G]. We define a derivation on ℤ/p^kℤ[G], and show that for 2 ≤ n ≤ p, an element α ∈ I is in Iⁿ if and only if the i-th derivative of the image of α in ℤ/p^kℤ[G] vanishes for 1 ≤ i ≤ (n - 1).

본 논문은 maximum likelihood(ML) 기반의 모노 펄스 monopulse ratio(MR) 커브에 대한 수학식 유도 과정을 보인다. 이를 위해 선형 배열 안테나를 가정하고 얻어진 수학식이 배열 소자의 수, 배열 간격의 함수가 됨을 보인다. 시뮬레이션을 통해서 얻어진 수학식이 MR 커브와 동일함을 보이고, 얻어진 복잡한 수학식을 하나의 tangent 함수로 근사화할 수 있음을 보인다.

A linear map T from a Banach algebra A into a Banach algebra B is almost multiplicative if $\left\$\mid$ T(fg) - T(f)T(g) \right\$\mid$ \leq \in\left\$\mid$ f \right\$\mid$\left\$\mid$ g \right\$\mid$(f,g \in A)$ for some small positive $\in$. B.E.Johnson [4,5] studied whether this implies that T is near a multiplicative map in the norm of operators from A into B. K. Jarosz [2,3] raised the conjecture : If T is an almost multiplicative functional on uniform algebra A, there is a linear and multiplicative functional F on A such that $\left\$\mid$ T - F \right\$\mid$ \leq \in', where \in' \to 0$ as $\in \to 0$. B. E. Johnson [4] gave an example of non-uniform commutative Banach algebra which does not have the property described in the above conjecture. He proved also that C(K) algebras and the disc algebra A(D) have this property [5]. We extend this property to a derivation on a Banach algebra.

This study aimed at derivation of planning factors and applicable planning factors of residential environment for the elderly in Korean rural village in the more detailed level. Literature review, questionnaire and depth interview with the elderly of case rural villages keeping face with investigation of residential environment was carried out for the derivation of planning factors. Study of related legal factors and interviewing with experts for advice was conducted also for the verification and complement of planning factors. The goal of this study was improvement of residential environment for the elderly or existing rural village not the new one and planning factors was intended to include all the considerable elements. Planing factors was classified two groups which were factors of village outdoor and the inside and outside of a house. The former was also divided into spacial factors and facilities factors and the latter was divided into inside factors and outside factors. The results may contribute to improving residential environment for rural elderly with relation of health and medical service.

카울라에 의해 완성되었던 인공위성궤도이론과 케플러의 법칙을 다시 다루었다. 카울라의 원문에서는 생략되었던 부분을 포함한 모든 수식유도과정을 상세히 기술하였다. 특히 15개의 독립적인 라그랑지 괄호들을 계산하는 데에 변환행렬의 직교성을 사용하여, 간결성과 명확성을 이루었다. 여러 중간단계에서 중요한 물리적인 개념들에 대한 설명도 추가하였다. 카울라의 개념적 오류 한 개를 정정하였다.

본 논문에서는 Sliding-DFT(sliding discrete Fourier transform : SDFT)를 순환구조로 구현할 때 복소수 계수를 유한한 비트로 근사 표현하여 생기는 오차영향을 해석적으로 구하는 방법을 제시하고 유도 과정을 기술하였다. 해석한 결과는 오차전력과 신호전력 비(noise-to-signal power ratio : NSR)의 식으로 얻었으며, DFT 대상신호가 평균이 ‘0’인 가우스 백색신호(zero-mean white Gaussian signal)인 것으로 가정하였다. NSR 식은 복소수계수를 표현하는 비트 수와 DFT 구간길이에 대한 식으로 구하였다. 유도 과정은 SDFF 순환 식(recursive equation)으로 유도한 오차방정식(error dynamic equation)과 계수근 사오차의 공간적인 확률분포특성에 근거하였다. 해석적으로 유도한 NSR 결과를 시뮬레이션 실험을 통해 얻은 결과와 비교하여 타당성을 확인하였다.
