  • The $L^p-L^q$ mapping properties of convolution operators with measures supported on curves in $\mathbb{R}^3$ have been studied by many authors. Oberlin provided examples of nondegenerate compact space curves whose arclength measures enjoy $L^p$-improving properties. This was later extended by Pan who showed that such properties hold for all nondegenerate compact space curves. In this paper, we will prove that the operator norm of the convolution operator with the arclength measure supported on a nondegenerate compact space curve depends only on certain quantities of the underlying curve.

  • We consider the sets of matrix ordered pairs which satisfy extremal properties with respect to Boolean rank inequalities of matrices over nonbinary Boolean algebra. We characterize linear operators that preserve these sets of matrix ordered pairs as the form of $T(X)=PXP^T$ with some permutation matrix P.

  • Let T be a bounded linear operator acting on a complex Hilbert space ${\mathfrak{H}}$. In this paper we introduce the class, denoted ${\mathcal{Q}}(A(k),m)$, of operators satisfying $T^{m{\ast}}(T^{\ast}{\mid}T{\mid}^{2k}T)^{1/(k+1)}T^m{\geq}T^{{\ast}m}{\mid}T{\mid}^2T^m$, where m is a positive integer and k is a positive real number and we prove basic structural properties of these operators. Using these results, we prove that if P is the Riesz idempotent for isolated point ${\lambda}$ of the spectrum of $T{\in}{\mathcal{Q}}(A(k),m)$, then P is self-adjoint, and we give a necessary and sufficient condition for $T{\otimes}S$ to be in ${\mathcal{Q}}(A(k),m)$ when T and S are both non-zero operators. Moreover, we characterize the quasinilpotent part $H_0(T-{\lambda})$ of class A(k) operator.

  • The classical Bohr's inequality states that $|z+w|^2{\leq}p|z|^2+q|w|^2$ for all $z,\;w{\in}\mathbb{C}$ and all p, q>1 with $\frac{1}{p}+\frac{1}{q}=1$. In this paper, Bohr's inequality is generalized to the setting of n-inner product spaces for all positive conjugate exponents $p,\;q{\in}\mathbb{R}$. In. In particular, the parallelogram law is recovered and an interesting operator inequality is obtained.

  • The aim of this paper is to prove that Marcinkiewicz integral operators are bounded from ${\dot{K}}^{{\alpha}({\cdot}),q({\cdot})}_{p({\cdot})}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ to ${\dot{K}}^{{\alpha}({\cdot}),q({\cdot})}_{p({\cdot})}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$ when the parameters ${\alpha}({\cdot})$, $p({\cdot})$ and $q({\cdot})$ satisfies some conditions. Also, we prove the boundedness of ${\mu}$ on variable Herz-type Hardy spaces $H{\dot{K}}^{{\alpha}({\cdot}),q({\cdot})}_{p({\cdot})}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$.

  • It is shown that if a paranormal contraction T has no nontrivial invariant subspace, then it is a proper contraction. Moreover, the nonnegative operator Q = T/sup 2*/T/sup 2/ - 2T/sup */T + I also is a proper contraction. If a quasihyponormal contraction has no nontrivial invariant subspace then, in addition, its defect operator D is a proper contraction and its itself-commutator is a trace-class strict contraction. Furthermore, if one of Q or D is compact, then so is the other, and Q and D are strict ontraction.

  • We introduce a new subclass of q-bi-univalent functions of complex order related to shell-like curves connected with the Fibonacci numbers. We obtain the coefficient estimates and Fekete-Szegö inequalities for the functions belonging to this class. Relevant connections with various other known classes have been illustrated.

  • The spanning column rank of an $m{\times}n$ matrix A over a semiring is the minimal number of columns that span all columns of A. We characterize linear operators that preserve the sets of matrix pairs which satisfy additive properties with respect to spanning column rank of matrices over semirings.

  • We describe the weight functions for which Hardy's inequality of nonincreasing functions is satisfied. Further we characterize the pairs of weight functions $(w,v)$ for which the Laplace transform $\mathcal{L}f(x)={\int}^{\infty}_0e^{-xy}f(y)dy$, with monotone function $f$, is bounded from the weighted Lebesgue space $L^p(w)$ to $L^q(v)$.

  • The spanning column rank of an $m{\times}n$ integer matrix A is the minimum number of the columns of A that span its column space. We compare the spanning column rank with column rank of matrices over the ring of integers. We also characterize the linear operators that preserve the spanning column rank of integer matrices.
