C32-CONSTRUCTION ON Mn(κ)

  • Let (B, $m_B$, ${\kappa}$) be a maximal commutative ${\kappa}$-subalgebra of a matrix algebra $M_n(\kappa)$. We will construct a maximal commutative ${\kappa}$-subalgebra (R, $m$, ${\kappa}$) of $M_n+3(\kappa)$ from the algebra B such that the algebra R has dimension greater than the dimension of B by 3. Moreover, we will show a $C_i$-construction doesn't imply a $C^3_2$-construction for $i=1,2$.

  • In this paper, k will denote an arbitrary field. If m, n are natural numbers, then $M_{m \times n}(k)$ will denote the set of all $m \times n$ matrices with entries in k. Every k-algebras will be assumed to contain a (multiplicative) identity $1 \neq 0$. A k-subspace $R_0$ of a k-algebra R will be called a k-subalgebra of R if $R_0$ is closed under multiplication from R and $R_0$ contains the identity of R. We will assume all k-algebra homomorphisms take the identity to identity.

  • 이 논문은 대한민국 해양사고 예보 시스템 (K-MACFOS)을 개발하기 위한 해양사고 수량화 D/B (N-D/B) 구성과 분석에 관하여 기술하였다. K-MACFOS의 주목표는 일기예보와 같이 해양사고의 예측건수와 위험수준을 방송하기 위한 것이다. 해양사고 데이터는 1990년부터 2000년까지 1년간 위도 33oN∼35oN와 경도 124oE∼127oE의 대한민국 서남해안 일대에서 발생한 총 724건을 수집하였고, 14가지 수량화변환 척도를 이용하여 양적 데이터로 변환하였다. 컬러 콘도-맵 가시화를 이용한 통계분석을 통하여 N-D/B의 유효성과 연구대상 해역의 사고특징을 검토하였다. 또한, 올바른 N-D/B 분석과 정확한 해양사고 건수 예측을 위한 최적 적용기간 선정 방법을 제안하였다.

  • Let {$X_i$} be a sequence of stationary ${\alpha}-mixing$ random variables with probability density function f(x). The recursive kernel estimators of f(x) are defined by $$\hat{f}_n(x)={\frac{1}{n\sqrt{b_n}}{\sum_{j=1}^{n}}b_j{^{-\frac{1}{2}}K(\frac{x-X_j}{b_j})\;and\;{\tilde{f}}_n(x)={\frac{1}{n}}{\sum_{j=1}^{n}}{\frac{1}{b_j}}K(\frac{x-X_j}{b_j})$$, where 0 < $b_n{\rightarrow}0$ is bandwith and K is some kernel function. Under appropriate conditions, we establish the Berry-Esseen bounds for these estimators of f(x), which show the convergence rates of asymptotic normality of the estimators.

Development of Durable Reliability Assessment Methods for Heavy Duty Coatings

  • Heavy duty coating are required to have minimum durable period of 15 years under average usage environment because these paints are coated with purpose of anti-corrosion, antifouling, plastering etc. Onto steel structures constructed upon land and sea and other ferrous structures of electric power generation plants, electricity transmission towers, large structures of various plants, etc. Therefore we tried to estimate heavy duty coating longevity through reliability evaluation method and used combined cyclic anti-conrrosion test method composed of drying, moisturizing and salt spray as for accelerated life test to estimate longevity. Accelerated life test hours to heavy duty coating of first grade (with longevity not less than 15 years) specification may be obtained from troubleless test hours $t_n=\frac{B_p}{n^{1/\beta}}\left[\frac{1n(1-CL)}{1n(1-p)} \right]^{1/\beta}=19.671$ (yr) where shape parameter $\beta=1.1$, confidence level CL=80 %, warranty life $B_{10}=15$ yr and sampling size n=10 (2 sets). Because acceleration factor {AF} found by accelerated test is 41.7, accelerated life test hours required may be represented about 4,132 hr so that if this amount of hours is converted to number of cycles(6 hr/cycle) of complex cycle corrosion resistance test then the amount is tantamount about 690 cycles. That means if there does not occur trouble failure (with defect factor sum not more than 20) during when there is performed 690 cycles of combined cyclic anti-corrosion test to heavy duty coating specimen then it signifies that there can be warranted longevity $B_{10}$ of 15 yr under condition of confidence level CL=80 %.

수치해석 결과를 이용한 PHC-W흙막이공법의 거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Behavior of PHC-W Retaining Wall Method Based on the Numerical Analysis Results)

  • PHC-W 흙막이공법은 말뚝의 원형단면을 개량하여 전면부의 평면화로 지보재의 설치가 용이하며 중첩(over-lap)시공이 가능하여 차수와 수직도가 우수하고 H형강을 사용하지 않아 경제적인 흙막이공법이다. 지층조건이 다른 3가지 사례를 이용하여 수치해석을 실시하였다. N치가 30미만의 지층에서는 PHC-W흙막이 A 형, B 형 각각에서 10.5m, 11.0m정도 굴착 가능한 것으로 나타났다. N치가 30이상의 비교적 양호한 지반에서는 PHC-W흙막이 A 형, B 형 각각에서 17.0m, 19.5m정도 굴착 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 지층조건이 양호할수록 굴착 가능 깊이가 커지는 것으로 나타났고 수평변위는 작아지는 것으로 나타났으며, 휨강도 안전율은 낮아지는 것으로 나타났고 전단력 안전율도 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다.

공동주택에서의 소음보정계수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Noise Correction Factor in Apartment Complex)

  • Road traffic noise has increasing broader effects on urban areas as well as rural areas because of rapidly increasing traffic volume and newly-constructed roads. 10 sites in building development areas were selected and the noise level were measured by the apartment floors and by the various block plans of apartment complex. Analysis result, about correction factor, in the case of right angle arrangement, apply - 2.5dB(A). In the case of apartment house correlation of each floor apply 1st floors 0dB(A), 2st floors 1.2dB(A), 3st floors 2.1dB(A), 4st floors 2.6dB(A), 5st floors 2.7dB(A), 6st floors 2.7dB(A), 7st floors 2.4dB(A), 8st floors 2.0dB(A), 9st floors 1.6dB(A), 10st floors 1.1dB(A), 13st floors 0.2dB(A), 15st floors 0.5dB(A). The level of road traffic noise in the arrangement construction of right angle was about 3.0dB(A) at N-4 point and 2.1dB(A) at N-6 point lower than that of a plan figure, respectively. The results suggested that application of correction coefficient obtained by the apartment floor and by the arrangement construction can be improved in road traffic noise.   • Using the p-adic q-integral due to T. Kim[4], we define a number B*$_{n}$(q) and a polynomial B*$_{n}$(q) which are p-adic q-analogue of the ordinary Bernoulli number and Bernoulli polynomial, respectively. We investigate some properties of these. Also, we give slightly different construction of Tsumura's p-adic function $\ell$$_{p}$(u, s, $\chi$) [14] using the p-adic q-integral in [4].n [4].

  • N.B.R. latex was used as the admixture in order to improve the various properties of gypsum plaster which is widely used as the construction material. The influences of N.B.R. latex on the hydration of gypsum plaster were studied. The results obtained are summerized as follows; 1. The water/gypsum plaster ratio is decreased wth increasing amounts of surfactant (P.O.E. Nonyl Phenol Ether) as the additive. 2. It is the pore of large size (${\gg}$7500A) that is mainly decreased with increasing amounts of surfactant. 3. With the small amount of surfactant as the additive, the hydration was slightly retarded, but was gradually recovered with increasing amounts of surfactant, and their heat of liberation after 20 hours were nearly same.
