b-GENERALIZED DERIVATIONS ON MULTILINEAR POLYNOMIALS IN PRIME RINGS

  • Let R be a noncommutative prime ring of characteristic different from 2, Q be its maximal right ring of quotients and C be its extended centroid. Suppose that $f(x_1,{\ldots},x_n)$ be a noncentral multilinear polynomial over $C,b{\in}Q,F$ a b-generalized derivation of R and d is a nonzero derivation of R such that d([F(f(r)), f(r)]) = 0 for all $r=(r_1,{\ldots},r_n){\in}R^n$. Then one of the following holds: (1) there exists ${\lambda}{\in}C$ such that $F(x)={\lambda}x$ for all $x{\in}R$; (2) there exist ${\lambda}{\in}C$ and $p{\in}Q$ such that $F(x)={\lambda}x+px+xp$ for all $x{\in}R$ with $f(x_1,{\ldots},x_n)^2$ is central valued in R.

  • Ephrin signaling is involved in various morphogenetic events, such as axon guidance, hindbrain segmentation, and angiogenesis. We conducted a yeast two-hybrid screen using the intracellular domain (ICD) of EphrinB1 to gain biochemical insight into the function of the EphrinB1 ICD. We identified the transcriptional co-repressor xTLE1/Groucho as an EphrinB1 interacting protein. Whole-mount in situ hybridization of Xenopus embryos confirmed the co-localization of EphrinB1 and a Xenopus counterpart to TLE1, xTLE4, during various stages of development. The EphrinB1/xTLE4 interaction was confirmed by co-immunoprecipitation experiments. Further characterization of the interaction revealed that the carboxy-terminal PDZ binding motif of EphrinB1 and the SP domain of xTLE4 are required for binding. Additionally, phosphorylation of EphrinB1 by a constitutively activated fibroblast growth factor receptor resulted in loss of the interaction, suggesting that the interaction is modulated by tyrosine phosphorylation of the EphrinB1 ICD.

고포화자화 (Fe, Co)-Zr-B-Cu계 초미세결정립합금의 자기특성

  • 급속응고법으로 제작된 비정질 $Fe_{85-x}Co_{x}Zr_{7}B_{7}Cu_{1}$ 합금의 열처리에 따른 구조 및 자기특성이 조사되었다. 비정질 $Fe_{85-x}Co_{x}Zr_{7}B_{7}Cu_{1}$ 합금은 $600^{\circ}C$이하의 열처리온도에서 약 10 nm의 초미세결정립이 형성된다. $600^{\circ}C$이상의 열처리 조건에서는 결정립크기가 급격히 증가하여 자기특성을 열화시킨다. $Fe_{85-x}Co_{x}Zr_{7}B_{7}Cu_{1}$ 합금의 최적열처리온도는 Fe-Zr-B초미세결정립합금에 비하여 낮으며, 결정립크기 또한 감소한다. 이는 Cu의 첨가에 기인하는 것으로 판단된다. 최적열처리조건에서 $Fe_{80}Co_{5}Zr_{7}B_{7}Cu_{1}$ 초미세결정립합금의 포화자화 및 f=50 kHz, $B_{m}=0.2\;T$에서 측정한 투자율 및 철손은 각각 157.3 emu/g(1.5 T), $1.8{\times}10^{4}$ 및 13 W/kg으로 자기특성이 가장 우수하다.

THE RULE OF TRAJECTORY STRUCTURE AND GLOBAL ASYMPTOTIC STABILITY FOR A FOURTH-ORDER RATIONAL DIFFERENCE EQUATION

  • In this paper, the following fourth-order rational difference equation $$x_{n+1}=\frac{{x_n^b}+x_n-2x_{n-3}^b+a}{{x_n^bx_{n-2}+x_{n-3}^b+a}$$, n=0, 1, 2,..., where a, b ${\in}$ [0, ${\infty}$) and the initial values $X_{-3},\;X_{-2},\;X_{-1},\;X_0\;{\in}\;(0,\;{\infty})$, is considered and the rule of its trajectory structure is described clearly out. Mainly, the lengths of positive and negative semicycles of its nontrivial solutions are found to occur periodically with prime period 15. The rule is $1^+,\;1^-,\;1^+,\;4^-,\;3^+,\;1^-,\;2^+,\;2^-$ in a period, by which the positive equilibrium point of the equation is verified to be globally asymptotically stable.

Influence of Nd Content on Magnetic Properties of Nanocrystalline $\alpha$-(Fe, Co)-Based Nd-(Fe, Co)-B-Nb-Cu Alloys ($\alpha$-(Fe, Co)기 Nd-(Fe, Co)-B-Nb-Cu 초미세결정립합금의 자기특성에 미치는 Nd의 영향)

  • Magnetic properties and microstructure of nanocrystalline $\alpha$-(Fe, Co)-based Nd-(Fe, Co)-B-Nb-Cu alloys have been investigated. $Nd_x(Fe_{0.9}Co_{0.1})_{90-x}B_6Nb_3Cu_1$(x=2, 3, 4, 5, 6) alloys prepared by rapid solidification process show amorphous phase except the one with x=2. By a proper annealing, the amorphous in the alloy is changed to a nanocrystalline phase. It is confirmed that the nanocrystalline alloys are composed of $\alpha$-(Fe, Co) and $Nd_2(Fe, Co)_{14}B_1$ phase. The optimally annealed $Nd_3(Fe_{0.9}Co_{0.1})_87B_6Nb_3Cu_1$ alloy shows the highest remanence of 1.55 T. The coercivity increases with the increase of Nd content The maximum coercivity of 4.6 kOe is obtained from an optimally annealed $Nd_6(Fe_{0.9}Co_{0.1})_84B_6Nb_3Cu_1$ alloy, resulting in the maximum energy product of 10.6 MGOe.

  • A quadratic polynomial ${\Phi}_{a,b,c}(x,y,z)=x(ax+1)+y(by+1)+z(cz+1)$ is called universal if the diophantine equation ${\Phi}_{a,b,c}(x,y,z)=n$ has an integer solution x, y, z for any nonnegative integer n. In this article, we show that if (a, b, c) = (2, 2, 6), (2, 3, 5) or (2, 3, 7), then ${\Phi}_{a,b,c}(x,y,z)$ is universal. These were conjectured by Sun in [8].

  • The aim of this research was to apply experimental design methodology to optimization of conditions of electrochemical oxidation of Rhodamine B (RhB) and N, N-Dimethyl-4-nitrosoaniline (RNO, indicative of the OH radical). The reactions of electrochemical oxidation of RhB degradation were mathematically described as a function of the parameters of current ($X_1$), NaCl dosage ($X_2$) and pH ($X_3$) and modeled by the use of the central composite design. The application of response surface methodology (RSM) yielded the following regression equation, which is an empirical relationship between the removal efficiency of RhB and RNO and test variables in a coded unit: RhB removal efficiency (%) = $94.21+7.02X_1+10.94X_2-16.06X_3+3.70X_1X_3+9.05X_2X_3-{3.46X_1}^2-{4.67X_2}^2-{7.09X_3}^2$; RNO removal efficiency (%) = $54.78+13.33X_1+14.93X_2- 16.90X_3$. The model predictions agreed well with the experimentally observed result. Graphical response surface and contour plots were used to locate the optimum point. The estimated ridge of maximum response and optimal conditions for the RhB degradation using canonical analysis was 100.0%(current, 0.80 A; NaCl dosage, 2.97% and pH 6.37).

  • Manddelberg [9] has shown that a Clifford algebra of a free quadratic space over an arbitrary semi-local ring R in Brawer-Wall group BW(R) is determined by its rank, determinant, and Hasse invariant. In this paper, we prove a corresponding result when R is a full ring.Throughout this paper, unless otherwise specified, we assume that R is a commutative ring having 2 a unit. A quadratic space (V, B, .phi.) over R is a finitely generated projective R-module V with a symmetric bilinear mapping B: V*V.rarw.R which is non-degenerate (i.e., the natural mapping V.rarw.Ho $m_{R}$(V,R) induced by B is an isomorphism), and with a quadratic mapping .phi.: V.rarw.R such that B(x,y)=1/2(.phi.(x+y)-.phi.(x)-.phi.(y)) and .phi.(rx) = $r^{2}$.phi.(x) for all x, y in V and r in R. We denote the group of multiplicative units of R by U9R).   • The microwave dielectric properties of ((P $b_{1-x}$ C $a_{x}$)Zr $O_3$ and (P $b_{0.63}$,C $a_{0.37-x}$ $M_{x}$)Zr $O_3$(M=Mg,Sr) ceramics were investigated. In (P $b_{1-x}$ C $a_{x}$)Zr $O_3$ (X=0.33~0.40) ceramics, high quality factor and small temperature coefficient of resonant frequency were obtain in (P $b_{0.63}$C $a_{0.37}$)Zr $O_3$with perovskite structure. In the case of (P $b_{0.63}$C $a_{0.37-x}$M $g_{x}$)Zr $O_3$ dielectric constant temperature coefficient of resonant frequency increased and quality factor decreased due to increase of polarization of A-O bonding. When replacing Ca ion with Sr ion with large ion radius, polarization decreased with increased of bonding length and thus dielectric constant and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency decreased.decreased.creased.

  • Annealing effects on the permeability aftereffect(disaccommodation) of liquid quenched single strip $Fe_{73.5}Cu_1Nb_3Si_{16}B_{6.5}$ alloys were investigated with pulse method. The initial susceptibility X, $B_{10},$ (the flux density at 10 Oe) and disaccommodation intensity D (D = [X(1 s)-X(64 s)]/X(1 s), where X(1 s) and X(64 s) are the susceptibility of 1 and 64 s of rest time after A. C. demagnetization) were about 800, 0.8 T and 16 %, respectively. The soft magnetic properties were improved with isothermal annealing for 1 hour at $300{\sim}600^{\circ}C.$ X, $B_{10},$ and D at $570^{\circ}C$ of optimum annealing temperature were 15000, 1.2 T and 1.1 %, respectively. The origin of the change of characteristics were examined with fine crystalline structure and magnetostriction.
