  • In this paper, we deal with the teaching of algebra in the elementary school mathematics, and call this algebra teaching method as ‘early algebra’. Early algebra is appeared in the 1980's with the discussion of ‘algebraic thinking’. And many studies about early algebra is in progress since 1990's. These studies aims at reducing difficulties in the teaching of algebra and the development of algebra curriculum. We investigate the background of early algebra, and justify teaching of early algebra. Also we examine the projects and studies in progress around the world. Finally through these discussions, we compare our elementary textbooks with early algebra, and verify the characters of early algebra from our arithmetic curriculum.

  • Let K be an algebraic number field. If k is the maximal cyclotomic subextension in K then the Schur K-group S(K) is obtained from the Schur k-group S(k) by scalar extension. In the paper we study projective Schur group PS(K) which is a generalization of Schur group, and prove that a projective Schur K-algebra is obtained by scalar extension of a projective Schur k-algebra where k is the maximal radical extension in K with mild condition.

  • In this paper, we provide a classification of arithmetic functions in terms of identically-free-distributedness, determined by a fixed prime. We show then such classifications are free from the choice of primes. In particular, we obtain that the algebra $A_p$ of equivalence classes under the quotient on A by the identically-free-distributedness is isomorphic to an algebra $\mathbb{C}^2$, having its multiplication $({\bullet});(t_1,t_2){\bullet}(s_1,s_2)=(t_1s_1,t_1s_2+t_2s_1)$.

  • We shall define three kinds of points for algebraic varieties associated to the center 3 of U(L) which is the universal enveloping algebra of a finite-dimensional modular Lie algebra over an algebraically closed field F of prime characteristic p. We announce here that $sp_4$(F) with p = 2 has a subregular point.

  • The spherical non-commutative $\mathbb{S}_{\omega}$ were defined in [2,3]. Assume that no non-trivial matrix algebra can be factored out of the $\mathbb{S}_{\omega}$, and that the fibres are isomorphic to the tensor product of a completely irrational non-commutative torus with a matrix algebra $M_k(\mathbb{C})$. It is shown that the tensor product of the spherical non-commutative torus $\mathbb{S}_{\omega}$ with the even Cuntz algebra $\mathcal{O}_{2d}$ has a trivial bundle structure if and only if k and 2d - 1 are relatively prime, and that the tensor product of the spherical non-commutative torus $S_{\omega}$ with the generalized Cuntz algebra $\mathcal{O}_{\infty}$ has a non-trivial bundle structure when k > 1.

  • In a paper of S. H. Choi [2], the author studied the derivations of a restricted Weyl Type non-associative algebra, and determined a 1-dimensional vector space of derivations. We describe all the derivations of this algebra and prove that they form a 3-dimensional Lie algebra.

  • A Weyl type algebra is defined in the paper (see [2],[4], [6], [7]). A Weyl type non-associative algebra $\bar{WN_{m,n,s}}$ and its restricted subalgebra $\bar{WN_{m,n,s_r}}$ are defined in the papers (see [1], [14], [16]). Several authors find all the derivations of an associative (Lie or non-associative) algebra (see [3], [1], [5], [7], [10], [16]). We find Der($\bar_{WN_{0,0,1_n}}$) of the algebra $\bar_{WN_{0,0,1_n}}$ and show that the algebras $\bar_{WN_{0,0,1_n}}$ and $\bar_{WN_{0,0,s_1}}$ are not isomorphic in this work. We show that the associator of $\bar_{WN_{0,0,1_n}}$ is zero.

  • The Weyl-type non-associative algebra ${\overline{WN_{g_n,m,s_r}}$ and its subalgebra ${\overline{WN_{n,m,s_r}}$ are defined and studied in the papers [2], [3], [9], [11], [12]. We find the derivation group $Der_{non}({\overline{WN_{1,0,0_{[2]}}})$ the non-associative simple algebra ${\overline{WN_{1,0,0_{[2]}}}$.

  • This paper is a continuation of [3]. We prove that if A is quasi-associative (resp. an implicative) ideal of a BCI-algebra X then the k-nil radical of A is a quasi-associative (resp. an implicative) ideal of X. We also construct the quotient algebra $X/[Z;k]$ of a BCI-algebra X by the k-nhil radical [A;k], and show that if A and B are closed ideals of BCI-algebras X and Y respectively, then
