천연(天然) Zeolite의 CEC 증가(增加)와 입단화(粒團化)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) -1. NaOH농도(濃度)와 조반비(曺礬比)(Na2O/Al2O3)의 영향(影響) (The Study on the CEC Increase and Granulation of Natural Zeolite -The Effect of NaOH Concentration and Na2O/Al2O3 Ratio)

  • 부가가치(附加價値)가 낮은 천연(天然) Zeolite 미분(微分)을 이용(利用)하여 CEC가 높은 토양개량제(土壤改良劑) 혹은 흡착제(吸着劑)의 개발(開發)을 시도하였다. 천연(天然) Zeolite의 $SiO_2/Al_2O_3$의 비(比)는 6.78이었으며 CEC는 67.5mg/100g이었다. 그러나 3N-NaOH용액(溶液)으로 $Na_2O/Al_2O_3$의 비(比)를 9.5로 하여 8시간(時間) 처리(處理)한 반응생성물(反應生成物)의 CEC는 약 200me/100g이었으며 다른 조건(條件)으로 처리(處理)한 반응생성물(反應生成物)의 CEC보다 높았다. 천연(天然) Zeolite의 주(主)된 점토광물(粘土鑛物)은 Clinoptilolite, Mordenite 및 Smectite였으나 반응생성물(反應生成物)은 Philipsite로 동정(同定)되었다.

  • CrSiN coatings of stepwise changing Si concentration were deposited on stainless steel by closed field unbalanced magnetron sputtering (CFUBM) system. Microstructure of the films due to the Si concentration is measured by XRD. The corrosion behavior of CrSiN coatings in deaerated $3.5\%$ NaCl solution was investigated by potentiodynamic test, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and surface analyses. The microstructure of CrSiN film depends on the Si concentration. When Si/(Cr+si) was under $11.7\%$, preferred orientation is defined at CrN(220), CrN(311) and $Cr_2N(111).$ The results of potentiodynamic polarization tests showed that the corrosion current density and porosity decreased with increasing Si/(Cr+si) ratio. EIS measurements showed that the corrosion resistance of Si-bearing CrN was improved by phase transformation of the film, which leads to increase of pore resistance and charge transfer resistance. At the Si(Cr+si) ratio of 20, the Si-bearing CrN possesses the best corrosion resistance due to the highest pore resistance and charge transfer resistance.

  • This experiment carried out in order to investigate the effect of the chemical activators for acceleration of hydration the system of Fly ash-Cao The paste was consisted of 80wt% Fly ash and 20wt% CaO with 1. 3. 5wt% of 4 activators(N{{{{ alpha _2 }}S{{{{ OMICRON _4 }}, CaC{{{{ {l }_{2 } }}, NaOH, Ca(N{{{{ OMICRON _3 {)}_{2 } }} and W/S ratio of 0.42 After curing for 1, 3, 7, 14, 28 days the paste hydration was characterized by the measurement of compressive strength XRD analysis SEM observation the combined water and the reaction amount of Ca(OH)2 determination. As a result of this ex-periment all of the system which involved Na2SO4 or NaOH had a god compressive strength. In the case of 7 days curing a system which added CaCl2 showed the highest compressive strength among all especially NaOH system showed a high increase in strength as a dosage of it increased. Hydration products were different according to activatores added. Only C-S-H was observed in NaOH system. As the reaction amount of Ca(OH)2 and combined water were increased the compressive strength increased. There were few differences in the comparision of strength between ignited loss 3.1% and loss 9.3% of fly ash.

엘니뇨/라니냐가 북서태평양 아열대 난수역과 북부동중국해의 중형동물플랑크톤 생체량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of El Niño/Na Niña on Mesozooplankton Biomass in the Northwestern Subtropical Pacific Warm Pool and the Northern East China Sea)

  • Mesozooplankton biomass including total biomass and size-fractionated biomass and the abundance of major taxonomic groups of copepods were studied in the Northwestern Subtropical Pacific Warm Pool (NSPWP) and the Northern East China Sea (NECS) from 2006 to 2014. Mesozooplankton biomass ranged from 0.69 to $3.08mgC/m^3$ (mean $1.12mgC/m^3$) in the NSPWP and from 10.60 to $69.10mgC/m^3$ (mean $30.33mgC/m^3$) in the NECS with higher values in spring than fall. Percent composition in the biomass of each size group of mesozooplankton varied interannually both in the NSPWP and in the NECS. The smallest size group (0.2~0.5 mm) contributed the least to total biomass in both regions, but significantly higher in the NSPWP than in the NECS. The percent composition in abundance of copepod taxonomic groups (i.e. Calanoida, Cyclopoida, and Poecilostomatoida) also fluctuated interannually. Mean composition of calanoid copepods was higher in the NECS than in the NSPWP, but the opposite pattern was observed for poecilostomatoid copepods. Mesozooplankton biomass both in the NSPWP and in the NECS was negatively correlated with Oceanic $Ni{\tilde{n}}o$ Index (ONI), indicating declines in biomass during El $Ni{\tilde{n}}o$ periods and vice versa during Na $Ni{\tilde{n}}a$ period. The effect of El $Ni{\tilde{n}}o$ on variation of mesozooplankton biomass was more prominent in the NSPWP than in the NECS. These results suggest that mesozooplankton biomass both in the NSPWP and in the NECS responded to El $Ni{\tilde{n}}o$ events, although the biological process that explain the reduced mesozooplankton biomass might be different in both regions.

Mouse 미수정란에서의 electrogenic Na pump 활동여부에 관한 연구 (Electrophysiological study on the presence of the electrogenic Na pump of the mouse unfertilized eggs)

  • In order to manifest the presence of Na-K pump and its property on the unfertilized egg membranes of mouse, membrane potential was recorded under the physiological condition (at $37^{\circ}C$ and 4mM $Ca^{2+}$). After an induction of superovulation, the fresh eggs with zona pellucida were collected from mouse oviduct. Transient hyperpolarization as pump action was recorded after the switch into the high potassium perfusate (15mM $K^+$) from K-free perfusate, and the difference between membrane potential observed just before the perfusion of high potassium solution and the maximal membrane potenlial during the perfusion of high potassium solution was regard as pump activities. The results observed were as follows, 1. Resting mombrane potential was depolarized under the treatment of $10^{-5}M$ ouabain. 2. Pump activities of the unfertilized mouse eggs were $-3.38{\pm}0.61mV$ ($Mean{\pm}SD$, n=6), recorded as transient hyperpolarization due to the electrogenic property. 3. Pump activities were blocked by both treatment of $10^{-5}M$ ouabain and perfusion of Nafree solution, while increased by high $Na^+$ (300mM) perfusion ($-7.45{\pm}0.75mV$, n =2). 4. Hyperpolarization due to pump activity was not altered by $Mn^{2+}$. 5. Above results confirm the presence of ouabain-sensitive Na-K pump, which affected the membrane potential directly, on the unfertilized egg membranes of mouse.

3% NaCl 수용액중에서 복합조직강의 부식피로거동에 미치는 제2상 속도변화의 영향 (Effect of the change of second phase hardness on corrosion fatigue behavior of dual phase steel in 3% nacl solution)

  • The only hardness of 2nd phase of martensite in dual phase steel which was composed of the martensite and ferrite was changed. Fatigue test was conducted by cantilever type of self-made rotated bending fatigue testing machine. The corrosion fatigue fracture behaviors of dual phase steel were investigated in 3% NaCl solution at $N_f$ = $1.5\times$$10^5$ $N_f$=1.0 $\times$ $10^6$ cycles. The fatigue strength was increased with increasing the hardness of 2nd phase. The size and number of corrsion pits were influenced by the 2nd phase hardness and pits remain constant in size just after they were transited into cracks. The life of crack initiation was effected by stress level. The shape of relation of $\Delta$K and da/dn has smaller scattering in it in 3% NaCl solution than that in air. The higher the 2nd phase hardness is, the higher the corrosion fatigue life becomes. Corrosion fatigue fracture behavior was effected by mechanics in case of $N_f$=1.5$\times$10$^5$$N_f$=1.5$\times$10$^6$ cycles.

납 함량에 따른 비정질 Pb-Na 규산염의 원자 구조에 대한 고상 핵자기 공명 분광분석 연구 (Effect of Lead Content on Atomic Structures of Pb-bearing Sodium Silicate Glasses: A View from 29Si NMR Spectroscopy)

  • 납(lead; Pb)은 지구 형성 초기의 원시 맨틀(primitive mantle)에서부터 현재 지구로의 진화 과정 이해에 중요한 정보를 제공하는 미량 원소 중 하나이다. 납은 지구 내부 및 지각에서 다양한 화성 과정에 수반하는 규산염 광물과 용융체 내에 차별적으로 분배된다. 원소 분배 계수 변화는 규산염 용융체 구조와 밀접한 관련이 있을 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 납이 포함된 규산염 용융체의 자세한 구조를 밝히고, 조성에 따라 변화하는 구조와 특성, 특히 규산염 광물과 용융체 간의 원소 분배 계수와의 관계를 제시하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 고상 NMR 분광분석을 수행하여 비정질 Pb-Na 규산염의 자세한 원자 구조를 확인하였다. 자연계 마그마 용융체의 모델 시스템으로 납이 포함된 비정질 유리 시료[(PbO)x(Na2O)1-x]·SiO2를 소듐과 납의 단종 Na2SiO3에서 PbSiO3까지 다양한 조성의 비정질을 합성하였으며(x=0, 0.25, 0.33, 0.50, 0.67, 0.86, 1) 납의 함량에 따른 규소 주변 원자 환경의 변화를 확인할 수 있는 29Si MAS NMR 분광분석을 수행하였다. 29Si MAS NMR 결과 납 함량에 따라 피크의 폭이 넓어지고 피크 최대값의 위치는 -76.2, -77.8, -80.3, -81.5, -84.6, -87.7 ppm으로 이동하였다. 규소와 결합된 연결 산소의 양인 Qn 환경 변화를 정량적으로 분리하기 위하여 29Si NMR 스펙트럼에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션은 조성에 따라 NBO/T로 나타낸 중합도가 일정하면서 Qn 환경의 화학적 차폐 이동을 가정한 경우 가우시안 함수의 조합으로 진행하였다. 그 결과 규소 주변 원자 환경 변화에 기인한 화학적 차폐의 이동이 시사된다. Na2SiO3의 경우 Q2가 지배적으로 존재하며 Q1 및 Q3가 비슷한 비율로 존재하였으나 소듐 대신 납이 포함되면서 Q2가 감소하고 Q1 및 Q3가 증가하면서 Qn 환경의 불균화가 증가하였다. 29Si NMR 스펙트럼에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과는 납을 포함한 비정질 규산염에서 조성에 따른 배열 무질서도 및 위상 무질서도 증가를 지시한다. 본 결과로부터 평균 양이온 세기(average cation field strengths)에 따른 불균화 상수(disproportionation factor)의 변화를 정량화하였다. 무질서도의 증가와 비정질의 구조 변화가 납을 포함한 미량 원소의 분배 계수를 감소시킬 것으로 예상된다.

다양한 입자크기와 산성도를 지닌 MTT 제올라이트의 합성 및 촉매특성 연구 (Synthesis and Catalytic Performance of MTT Zeolites with Different Particle Size and Acidity)

  • 다양한 Si/Al 몰비를 지닌 MTT 제올라이트를 합성하여 methanol-to-olefin(MTO) 반응에서 촉매의 산성도가 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Si/Al 몰비를 조절하기 위해 N,N,N',N'-테트라메틸-1,3-디아미노프로판을 구조유도물질(SDA)로 사용하였으며, 알루민산나트륨의 함량을 달리하여 $20SiO_2$ : 30SDA : x (=0.25~1.25)$NaAlO_2$ : 2NaOH : $624H_2O$ 조성으로 모액을 제조한 후 433 K에서 4일 동안 수열 합성하였다. 알루민산나트륨의 함량이 감소함에 따라 MTT 제올라이트의 입자 크기가 증가하였으며 또한 산점의 양도 감소하였다. 제조한 MTT 제올라이트의 촉매 활성을 평가하기 위해 673 K에서 공간속도(WHSV)가 $1.2h^{-1}$인 조건으로 MTO 반응을 수행한 결과, Si/Al 몰비가 24인 H-MTT (1.00Al) 촉매가 900분까지 90% 이상의 전환율을 유지함을 확인하였다.

견 피브로인의 알칼리 가수분해 (Hydrolysis of Silk Fibroin on Alkali Conditions)

  • To hydrolyze silk fibroin was treated with NaOH solution on various concentrations and times. And it was examined that the addition effects of NaHSO3 solution on the solubility and colouring of silk fibroin. As obtained results are as follows; The more increasement of concentration and time of NaOH treatment, the more increasement of solubility but solubility was slight above 3% concentration of NaOH. Fibroin yield was decreased above 3% concentration. This was due to formation of peptide or amino acids below molecular weight 3,000. Most of molecular weight distribution came out to be under 3,000 in 2% concentration and 4hrs of NaOH treatment. The more increasement of adding concentration and 4hrs of NaOH treatment. The more increasement of adding concentration of NaHSO3, the more reduction of solubility but white index of powder increased. In the results of FT-IR spectras of silk fibroin powder obtained by various concentrations of NaHSO3 treatment, the absorbent peak at 3,400 cm-1 which was considered as -CH=N- (azomethine) was disappeared by the more addition of NaHSO3. It showed that absorbent peak of $\beta$-fibroin moved into low temperature region and transferred to $\alpha$- and random coil structure through the DSC experiment. In the results of amino acid analysis, alkali hydrolysis reduced the oxy amino contents acid like serine and tyrosine, but increased the glycine content by the more addition of NaHSO3.

Structural, FTIR and ac conductivity studies of NaMeO3 (Me ≡ Nb, Ta) ceramics

  • Lead-free complex perovskite ceramics $NaMeO_3$ ($Me{\equiv}Nb$, Ta) were synthesized using conventional solid state reaction technique and characterized by structural, FTIR and electrical (dielectric and ac conductivity) studies. The crystal symmetry, space group and unit cell dimensions were determined from the experimental results using FullProf software. XRD analysis of the compound indicated the formation of single-phase orthorhombic structure with the space group Pmmm (47). Dielectric studies showed the diffuse phase transition at $394^{\circ}C$ for $NaNbO_3$ and $430^{\circ}C$ for $NaTaO_3$. Ac conductivity in both the compounds follows Jonscher's power law.
