The temperature dependent Josephson critical current $J_c(T)/J_c(0)$ between high $T_c$ superconductors along the a-axis is theoretically studied. The interface influence on the wave functions of quasi-particles is included in the theory within the framework of the two-dimensional t-J model. It is found that the experimental results can be satisfactorily explained by the present model with d wave pairing symmetry.

Effect of an accelerated iso-thermal aging (375 degree C x 66days, 375 degree C x 200days) on elastic-plastic fracture resistance curve were examined in SA533B low alloy steel. Fracture toughness test are conducted by unloading compliance method at room temperature. But the apparent negative crack growth phenomenon, usually arise in partial unloading compliance test. The phenomenon of negative crack growth may be eliminated by the offset technique. There is no effect of aging on J sub(IC) and dJ/da in iso-thermal aged (375 degree C x 66 days) specimen, but there is very little effect in iso-thermal aged (375 degree C x 200 days) specimen.

Given operators X and Y on a Hilbert space H, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that AX = Y. In this article, we investigate compact interpolation problems for vectors in a tridiagonal algebra. Let L be a subspace lattice acting on a separable complex Hilbert space H and Alg L be a tridiagonal algebra. Let X = $(x_{ij})\;and\;Y\;=\;(y_{ij})$ be operators acting on H. Then the following are equivalent: (1) There exists a compact operator A = $(x_{ij})$ in AlgL such that AX = Y. (2) There is a sequence {$\alpha_n$} in $\mathbb{C}$ such that {$\alpha_n$} converges to zero and $$y_1\;_j=\alpha_1x_1\;_j+\alpha_2x_2\;_j\;y_{2k}\;_j=\alpha_{4k-1}x_{2k\;j}\;y_{2k+1\;j}=\alpha_{4k}x_{2k\;j}+\alpha_{4k+1}x_{2k+1\;j}+\alpha_{4k+2}x_{2k+2\;j\;for\;all\;k\;\epsilon\;\mathbb{N}$$.

We generalize several integral inequalities for analytic functions on the open unit polydisc $U^n={\{}z{\in}C^n||zj|<1,\;j=1,...,n{\}}$. It is shown that if a holomorphic function on $U^n$ belongs to the mixed norm space $A_{\vec{\omega}}^{p,q}(U^n)$, where ${\omega}_j(\cdot)$,j=1,...,n, are admissible weights, then all weighted derivations of order $|k|$ (with positive orders of derivations) belong to a related mixed norm space. The converse of the result is proved when, p, q ${\in}\;[1,\;{\infty})$ and when the order is equal to one. The equivalence of these conditions is given for all p, q ${\in}\;(0,\;{\infty})$ if ${\omega}_j(z_j)=(1-|z_j|^2)^{{\alpha}j},\;{\alpha}_j>-1$, j=1,...,n (the classical weights.) The main results here improve our results in Z. Anal. Anwendungen 23 (3) (2004), no. 3, 577-587 and Z. Anal. Anwendungen 23 (2004), no. 4, 775-782.

Lactobacillus casei에 감염하는 bacteriophage J1 게놈의 cohesive end site (cos)의 염기배열을 결정하였다. 또한 환형 cos와 선형 J1 DNA의 왼쪽 말단 염기배열을 비교한 결과 terminase가 절단하는 위치는 다음과 같았다. 5'- GGTCGGCC$\downarrow$ -3' 3'- $\uparrow$CCAGCCGG -5' J1 게놈의 cohesive end는 3' 말단이 돌출되어 있으며 8개의 뉴클레오티드로 이루어져 있고 G+C 함유율이 87.5%이었다. cos 부위는 선형 DNA의 왼쪽 5' 말단 뉴클레오티드의 위치를 +1로 정하였을 때 -33부터 +25까지 대칭이었다. 지금까지 보고된 phage들의 cos 부위 사이에 상동성은 발견되지 않았다.

In this paper, we consider anti-periodic solutions of the following BAM neural networks with multiple delays on time scales: $$\{{x^\Delta_i(t)=-a_i(t)e_i(x_i(t))+{\sum\limits^m_{j=1}}c_{ji}(t)f_j(y_j(t-{\tau}_{ji}))+I_i(t),\atop y^\Delta_j(t)=-b_j(t)h_j(y_j(t))+{\sum\limits^n_{i=1}}d_{ij}(t)g_i(x_i(t-{\delta}_{ij}))+J_j(t),}\$$ where i = 1, 2, ..., n,j = 1, 2, ..., m. Using some analysis skills and Lyapunov method, some sufficient conditions on the existence and exponential stability of the anti-periodic solution to the above system are established.

Experimental procedure to measure fracture toughness (J$_{c}$) under mixed mode loading using CTS(Compact Tension-Shear) specimens is described. It\`s loading angle ranges from 0$^{\circ}$ to 45$^{\circ}$ with interval of 157. The general outline of experimental procedure is similar to that of ASTM E8l3-89 fur mode I fracture. Equations fur determining J-integral is quoted from the authors' previous works. The relation between unloading compliance and physical crack size was calibrated. As an example, fracture toughness of aluminum alloy 2024p-7361 was measured and some reasonable results of J$_{c}$ with various loading angles were obtained.

$CF_4$와 $C_2F_6$의 압력이 20.7 kPa 이하일 경우, 활성탄에의 평형흡착량을 여러 온도(293.15-333.15 K)에서 실험적으로 조사하였다. 실험데이터가 가장 잘 맞을 수 있도록 1차층 흡착으로 Langmuir모델을 쓰고 그 다음 단계에는 Freundlich 물리흡착을 이용하는 이단계모델을 제안한다. 1단계에 대한 흡착엔탈피를 구하기 위해 실험데이터의 최초기울기를 이용하였고, Clausius-Clapeyron식을 사용함으로써 2단계에 대한 흡착엔탈피를 구하였다. $CF_4$의 경우 1, 2단계의 흡착엔탈피는 각각 25.9와 11.8 kJ/mol이고, $C_2F_6$의 경우는 38.7과 38.2 kJ/mol이다.
