Correlation Analysis of KCNQ1 S140G Mutation Expression and Ventricular Fibrillation: Computer Simulation Study (KCNQ1 S140G 돌연변이 발현과 심실세동과의 상관관계 분석을 위한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 연구)

  • Background and aims: The KCNQ1 S140G mutation involved in $I_{ks}$ channel is a typical gene mutation affecting atrial fibrillation. However, despite the possibility that the S140G gene mutation may affect not only atrial but also ventricular action potential shape and ventricular responses, there is a lack of research on the relationship between this mutation and ventricular fibrillation. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed the correlation and the influence of the KCNQ1 S140G mutant gene on ventricular fibrillation through computer simulation studies. Method: This study simulated a 3-dimensional ventricular model of the wild type(WT) and the S140G mutant conditions. It was performed by dividing into normal sinus rhythm simulation and reentrant wave propagation simulation. For the sinus rhythm, a ventricular model with Purkinje fiber was used. For the reentrant propagation simulation, a ventricular model was used to confirm the occurrence of spiral wave using S1-S2 protocol. Results: The result showed that 41% shortening of action potential duration(APD) was observed due to augmented $I_{ks}$ current in S140G mutation group. The shortened APD contributed to reduce wavelength 39% in sinus rhythm simulation. The shortened wavelength in cardiac tissue allowed re-entrant circuits to form and increased the probability of sustaining ventricular fibrillation, while ventricular electrical propagation with normal wavelength(20.8 cm in wild type) are unlikely to initiate re-entry. Conclusion: In conclusion, KCNQ1 S140G mutation can reduce the threshold of the re-entrant wave substrate in ventricular cells, increasing the spatial vulnerability of tissue and the sensitivity of the fibrillation. That is, S140G mutation can induce ventricular fibrillation easily. It means that S140G mutant can increase the risk of arrhythmias such as cardiac arrest due to heart failure.

  • This paper, so far to analyze the research trends in the issue that has been discussed for the introduction of private investigation institutions, by projecting its suggestion, want the investigation purpose of presenting the desirable introduction direction. The analyzed issue was extracted for existing research material on the introduction of private investigation institutions. Investigators pointed out issue is the name, business scope, corporate, qualification system (eligibility criteria and test), education, association establishment, regulatory agencies, has been included in the eight categories such as legislation form. For the name, I think there is a need to unify under the name "detective". For the scope of work, the amendment is difficult law, place an overview of the general business rules, more specific and detailed investigation business content, to discipline through the ordinance it is possible to be rational. Private investigation institutions, I think the need for limited operations of the corporation. For education, the new education and re-education on a regular basis I do for the private investigation workers. You must be one of the National Police Agency to the management authority. Legislative form, not to be defined by its own law, the revision of the security law, but that is to complement the provisions for private sector research system is effective.

  • In perspective of saving natural resource and energy, today's automobiles are in process of regenerating by smaller and lighter. In order to achieve the sufficiency on the consumption of the fuel, new mechanism and new assembly are required. Therefore the expectations on the new materials are very high. Especially, AI materials are widely used to reduce the weight. AI that is used in automobiles is mostly casting material, and according to the innovation of technique is in rapid development. AI Die casting is an important field as today's trend of lightweight on automobiles. One of the parts in steering system, Valve Housing plays a role of reduce the operating effort of drivers. Unfortunately, the Valve Housing which is widely reliable to the most automobiles are not developed at this moment in our automobile industry. Therefore, they are produced by casting method which cost three times or even more expensive in production. If Valve Housing, which is a part of steering system is produced by Gravity Casting, the space that manufacturing equipment will be increased, and more time and workers would be brought into service. For such reason, Die Casting would replace Gravity Casting in order to minimize cost of time, manpower, and working space.

Perceptions Types of Workplace Bullying among Clinical Nurses (임상간호사의 태움에 대한 인식 유형)

  • This study is an exploratory study aimed at identifying the type and identifying type-specific characteristics by applying Q methodology to identify the perception of workplace bullying among clinical nurses. Methods: A total of 38 Q samples were selected and data were collected from 36 clinical nurses. Collected data were analyzed by the PC QUANL program. Six types have been identified about the clinical nurse's perception of workplace bullying. Type I-1 was "Endurance", I-2 was "Hazing", Type II-1 was "Rite of passage", Type II-2 was "Territorial individual", Type III-1 was "Hierarchical order", Type III-2 was "Interpersonal silent". These results can be useful in developing improvement programs such as interpersonal relationships and communication. In addition, practical strategies are required to improve the nursing work environment.

  • Many people are interesting software quality. Because of, we depend on software in our life. In terms of, I think, good software is a good quality software. So, when we develop the software, we need trying to improve software quality. In this paper, we analyze software test data. We emphasize that software quality is very important in our life. We use software experimental data, in order to analyze of software quality. On the basis of ISO/IEC 9126-2, we classify the test data and we analyze the difference of error frequency according to functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, portability. We analyze the number of test and used time according software type. We want to search effect variable, going through testing result and measurement convergence, we know the effect variable of functionality and efficiency.

A Service Framework and Communication Method for Exchanging Information between Electric Vehicles and EV Charging Infrastructure (전기자동차와 충전인프라 간의 정보교환을 위한 서비스 프레임워크 및 통신 방법에 관한 연구)

  • All of the government, private enterprises, and local governments are promoting the spread of electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions depending on the green growth policy of the government that began in 2009. Due to this background, the prevalence of electric cars is being spread. However, the efficient management and operation through the exchanging information between electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, as well as the development of electric vehicles are essential to disseminate them. In this paper, we present a service framework for exchange of information between electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, and propose a communication method to meet it. To do this, we propose the most appropriate communication method through the performance evaluation by identifying and comparing the existing wireless communication methods can be applied to exchange information between electronic vehicles and EV charging infrastructure.

Humanistic Imagination through the Case of Cultural Convergence Contents of Hwang Soon-won 「Sonagi」 (황순원 「소나기」의 문화융합 콘텐츠 사례를 통해 본 인문학적 상상력)

  • In this paper, Hwang Soon-won's "Sonagi" is considered from the aspect of literary imagination reconstructed into a fusion content of various cultures such as HD TV Literature, Animation, Movie, Musical, CF and the part which changed from the original text. In the TV literature Museum "Sonagi" he created a newly person called a 'Seok-yi' who is a young brother of a boy, a girl's mother who did not exist in the original, and developed the composition more precisely. And In the animation, the main character's dialogue is presented as a speech and it is characteristic that the theme of the work is revealed more effectively. On the other hand, the heroine in the movie says, "I do not like the ending part of the showers." Also In the musical "Sonagi", about 2 tons of water was used to give more vividness and presence to the audience. In this way, the contents of the original works are transformed according to the characteristics of the medium in the various cultural fusion contents based on novels, and thus convey the unique imagination of the director to the audience.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the causes of career problems, which are the biggest problems of Korean university students, and to solve them by using case studies of domestic and global universities, I would like to suggest a career advisor system model for college students. It is most important to collect advice and learning data to solve the career problems of college students by utilizing information technology such as data analysis and AI. Research has not been actively pursued because the university has very limited internal data to advise on career problems. In this paper, we study the data types and methods of college students' career advice, and propose a career advisor counseling system for college students.

The Effects of Life Stress on University Life Satisfaction and Major Satisfaction Convergence Era. (융복합시대에 생활스트레스가 대학생활만족도와 전공만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of study is to investigate the effect of life stress on university life satisfaction and majors' From April 2, 2018 to April 23, 2018, 364 students enrolled in Jeollanam-do and Gwangju were enrolled. The university life satisfaction and major satisfaction according to the general characteristics were the highest in the subjective health condition. Among the stresses of life, the professions were high in the interpersonal relations area and the academic problems were the highest among the task areas. The total stress of life was the lowest in 6-8 hours in the case of usual sleeping time. The major factor influencing college life satisfaction was majors' satisfaction. The major factor influencing major satisfaction was college life satisfaction, and the higher the life stress, the lower the satisfaction of major. Therefore, I would like to use this data as basic data for the development of programs that can alleviate life stress of University students.

Effect of Si Doping in Self-Assembled InAs Quantum Dots on Infrared Photodetector Properties (Si 도핑이 InAs 자기조립 양자점 적외선 소자 특성에 미치는 효과)

  • We investigate the characteristics of self-assembled quantum dot infrared photodetectors(QDIPs) based on doping level. Two kinds of QDIP samples are prepared using molecular beam epitaxy : $n^+-i(QD)-n^+$ QDIP with undoped quantum dot(QD) active region and $n^+-n^-(QD)-n^+$ QDIP containing Si direct doped QDs. InAs QDIPs were grown on semi-insulating GaAs (100) wafers by molecular-beam epitaxy. Both top and bottom contact GaAs layer are Si doped at $2{\times}10^{18}/cm^3$. The QD layers are grown by two-monolayer of InAs deposition and capped by InGaAs layer. For the $n^+-n^-(QD)-n^+$ structure, Si dopant is directly doped in InAs QD at $2{\times}10^{17}/cm^3$. Undoped and doped QDIPs show a photoresponse peak at about $8.3{\mu}m$, ranging from $6{\sim}10{\mu}m$ at 10 K. The intensity of the doped QDIP photoresponse is higher than that of the undoped QDIP on same temperature. Undoped QDIP yields a photoresponse of up to 50 K, whereas doped QDIP has a response of up to 30 K only. This result suggests that the doping level of QDs should be appropriately determined by compromising between photoresponsivity and operating temperature.
