By using electrostatic model and simple bond additivity scheme a reasonable and simple method was developed for the estimation of standard enthalpy of formation $({\Delta}H_f\;^{\circ})$ of very polar compounds. The bond contributions to the enthalpy of formation for halomethanes were; ${\Delta}H_f\;^{\circ}(C-F)=-36.44\;kcal/mole,\;{\Delta}H_f\;^{\circ}(C-Cl)=-2.57\;kcal/mole,\;{\Delta}H_f\;^{\circ}(C-Br)=5.32\;kcal/mole,\;{\Delta}H_f\;^{\circ}(C-I)=19.18\;kcal/mole,\;and\;{\Delta}H_f\;^{\circ}(C-H)=-3.61\;kcal/mole$, respectively. Using these values and calculated electrostatic energies, the estimated ${\Delta}H_f\;^{\circ}$ values were estimated and found to be in good agreement with observed values.
For a map $f:A{\rightarrow}X$, there are concepts of $H^f$-spaces, $T^f$-spaces, which are generalized ones of H-spaces [17,18]. In general, Any H-space is an $H^f$-space, any $H^f$-space is a $T^f$-space. For a principal fibration $E_k{\rightarrow}X$ induced by $k:X{\rightarrow}X^{\prime}$ from ${\epsilon}:PX^{\prime}{\rightarrow}X^{\prime}$, we obtain some sufficient conditions to having liftings $H^{\bar{f}}$-structures and $T^{\bar{f}}$-structures on $E_k$ of $H^f$-structures and $T^f$-structures on X respectively. We can also obtain some results about $H^f$-spaces and $T^f$-spaces in Postnikov systems for spaces, which are generalizations of Kahn's result about H-spaces.
Earlier studies reported that the /o/ and /u/ phonemes of Seoul Korean were currently merging in the F1/F2 space. However, studies on perception tests have shown that rates of correctness were high, even in cases where the two vowels overlapped. This study explores whether there is another acoustic parameter that differentiates /o/ from /u/, besides the F1/F2 contrast. Seventy-five native speakers of Seoul Korean, born between 1953 and 1999, participated in a production test. The data collected were analyzed in terms of F1 and F2, H1-H2, and F0. The result shows that the /o/ and /u/ of female speakers almost overlap in the F1/F2 space for all ages, while H1-H2 values are significantly different between the two vowels regardless of age. On the other hand, the /o/ and /u/ of male speakers are largely well separated in the F1/F2 space, while the H1-H2 values between the two vowels are very close at all ages. F0 effect is relatively small for both male and female speakers, even though there is a statistically significant difference. The result of this study provides evidence that female speakers use phonation differences to distinguish /o/ from /u/, and that the F1/F2 contrast has been replaced by H1-H2 values.
Throughout this paper we will let H denote the complete Heyting algebra ($H, \vee, \wedge, *$) with order reversing involution *. 0 and 1 denote the supermum and the infimum of $\emptyset$, respectively. Given any set X, any element of $H^X$ is called H-fuzzy set (or, simply f.set) in X and will be denoted by small Greek letters, such as $\mu, \nu, \rho, \sigma$. $H^X$ inherits a structure of H with order reversing involution in natural way, by definding $\vee, \wedge, *$ pointwise (sam notations of H are usual). If $f$ is a map from a set X to a set Y and $\mu \in H^Y$, then $f^{-1}(\mu)$ is the f.set in X defined by f^{-1}(\mu)(x) = \mu(f(x))$. Also for $\sigma \in H^X, f(\sigma)$ is the f.set in Y defined by $f(\sigma)(y) = sup{\sigma(x) : f(x) = y}$ ([4]). A preorder R on a set X is reflexive and transitive relation on X, the pair (X,R) is called preordered set. A map $f$ from a preordered set (X, R) to another one (Y,T) is said to be preorder preserving (inverting) if for $x,y \in X, xRy$ implies $f(x)T f(y) (resp. f(y)Tf(x))$. For the terminology and notation, we refer to [10, 11, 13] for category theory and [7] for H-fuzzy semitopogenous spaces.
A chief factor H/K of G is called F-central in G provided $(H/K){\rtimes}(G/C_G(H/K)){\in}{\mathfrak{F}}$. A normal subgroup N of G is said to be ${\pi}{\mathfrak{F}}$-hypercentral in G if either N = 1 or $N{\neq}1$ and every chief factor of G below N of order divisible by at least one prime in ${\pi}$ is $\mathfrak{F}$-central in G. The symbol $Z_{{\pi}{\mathfrak{F}}}(G)$ denotes the ${\pi}{\mathfrak{F}}$-hypercentre of G, that is, the product of all the normal ${\pi}{\mathfrak{F}}$-hypercentral subgroups of G. We say that a subgroup H of G is ${\pi}{\mathfrak{F}}$-embedded in G if there exists a normal subgroup T of G such that HT is s-quasinormal in G and $(H{\cap}T)H_G/H_G{\leq}Z_{{\pi}{\mathfrak{F}}}(G/H_G)$, where $H_G$ is the maximal normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this paper, we use the ${\pi}{\mathfrak{F}}$-embedded subgroups to determine the structures of finite groups. In particular, we give some new characterizations of p-nilpotency and supersolvability of a group.
The HF-SCF, MP2 and B3LYP calculations have been performed on the two conceivable clusters $(HF)_2(CO)$ trimers as well as their dimer complexes FH…FH, FH…CO and FH…OC applying $6-31+G^{\ast}^{\ast}$, and $6-311+G^{\ast}^{\ast}$ basis sets. A variety of ground state properties of these trimer complexes have been listed, and compared with corresponding properties of isolated monomers and combined dimers. It was calculated that FH…CO is more stable than FH…OC by average 0.85 kcal/mol and F-H…F-H…C≡O is more stable than F-H…F-H…O≡C by 1-2 kcal/mol. The C≡O stretching bands of the F-H…F-H…C≡O and F-H…F-H…O≡C were red shifted by 24, $37\;cm^{-1}$ compared with the FH…CO and FH…OC respectively. Also, H-F stretching bands were red shifted by 54 and $353\;cm^{-1}$.

While PFOS sodium salt ($C_8F_{17}SO_3Na$) was not degraded by microorganisms for 28 days, the 4 alternatives were biodegraded at the rates of 21.6% for $C_{25}F_{17}H_{32}S_3O_{13}Na_3$, 20.5% for $C_{15}F_9H_{21}S_2O_8Na_2$, 15.8% for $C_{23}F_{18}H_{28}S_2O_8Na_2$ and 6.4% for $C_{17}F_9H_{25}S_2O_8Na_2$, respectively. The acute toxicity test using Daphnia magna was conducted for 48 hours, the half effective concentration ($EC_{50}$) of PFOS sodium salt ($C_8F_{17}SO_3Na$) was evaluated in 54.5 mg/L. While the 4 alternatives did not show any effect at 500.0 mg/L. The surface tension of the PFOS salt ($C_8F_{17}SO_3Na$) is 46.2 mN/m at a concentration of 500.0 mg/L. While the surface tension of the 4 alternatives was found to be superior to PFOS sodium salt ($C_8F_{17}SO_3Na$). The surface tension of $C_{23}F_{18}H_{28}S_2O_8Na_2$ (20.9 mN/m) has the lowest, followed by $C_{15}F_9H_{21}S_2O_8Na_2$ (23.4 mN/m), $C_{17}F_9H_{25}S_2O_8Na_2$ (27.3 mN/m), $C_{25}F_{17}H_{32}S_3O_{13}Na_3$ (28.2 mN/m). The four kinds of alternatives ($C_{15}F_9H_{21}S_2O_8Na_2$, $C_{17}F_9H_{25}S_2O_8Na_2$, $C_{23}F_{18}H_{28}S_2O_8Na_2$, $C_{25}F_{17}H_{32}S_3O_{13}Na_3$) were found to be superior to PFOS sodium salt ($C_8F_{17}SO_3Na$) in terms of biodegradation, Daphnia sp. acute toxicity and surface tension, and thus they were considered applicable as PFOS alternatives. Especially biodegradation rate of $C_{15}F_9H_{21}S_2O_8Na_2$, $C_{23}F_{18}H_{28}S_2O_8Na_2$ and $C_{25}F_{17}H_{32}S_3O_{13}Na_3$ was relatively high as 15.8~21.6%, and Daphnia sp. acute toxicity and surface tension were considerably superior (surface tension 39~55%) to PFOS sodium salt. Therefore, these alternatives are considered to be available as an alternative of PFOS.

It was investigated whether a combination of PPARα activator fenofibrate and swimming exercise (H/F/S) would have a beneficial synergistic effect on improving inflammation of white adipose tissue compared to the single prescription of fenofibrate (H/F) and swimming exercise (H/S) in male mice that fed high fat diet. The body weight, weight of white adipose tissue and total cholesterol levels in the serum increased in mice-fed high fat diets (H) compared to mice-fed low fat diets (L). Compared to H, both H/F and H/S decreased these. These levels reduced by fenofibrate were more effectively reduced by the combination of fenofibrate and swimming exercise (H/F/S). As a result of examining the expression of inflammatory cytokines genes and fatty acid oxidation genes in white adipose tissue, H increased compared to L, both H/F and H/S decreased compared to H, and H/F/S decreased further compared to H/F. Thus, this study revealed that the combination of fenofibrate and swimming exercise in male mice fed high-fat diet suppresses inflammation of white adipose tissue caused by obesity through promoted fatty acid oxidation more effectively than the fenofibrate alone, and suggested a practical way to improve inflammation of adipose tissue caused by obesity.
Let $(B, H, p_1)$ be an abstract Wiener space and $F(B)$ the Fresnel class on $(B, H, p_1)$ which consists of functionals F of the form : $$ F(x) = \int_{H} exp{i(h,x)^\sim} df(h), x \in B, $$ where $(\cdot, \cdot)^\sim$ is a stochastic inner product between H and B, and f is in $M(H)$, the space of complex Borel measures on H. We introduce an $L_1$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transforms for functionls in $F(B)$. Furthermore, we introduce a convolution on $F(B)$, and then verify the existence of the $L_1$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transform for the convolution product of two functionals in $F(B)$, and we establish the relationships between the $L_1$ analytic Fourier-Feynman tranform of the convolution product for two functionals in $F(B)$ and the $L_1$ analytic Fourier-Feynman transforms for each functional. Finally, we show that most results in [7] follows from our results in Section 3.

Using eddy covariance method, net ecosystem exchange (NEE) of $CO_2$ ($F_{CO_2}$), $H_2O$ (LE), and sensible heat (H) can be approximated as the sum of eddy flux ($F_c$) and storage flux term ($F_s$). Depending on strength and distribution of sink/source of scalars and magnitude of vertical turbulence mixing, the rates of changes in scalars are different with height. In order to calculate $F_s$ accurately, the differences should be considered using scalar profile measurement. However, most of flux sites for agricultural lands in Asia do not operate profile system and estimate $F_s$ using single-level scalars from eddy covariance system under the assumption that the rates of changes in scalars are constant regardless of the height. In this study, we measured $F_c$ and $F_s$ of $CO_2$, $H_2O$, and air temperature ($T_a$) using eddy covariance and profile system (i.e., the multi-level measurement system in scalars from eddy covariance measurement height to the land surface) at the Chengmicheon farmland site in Korea (CFK) in order to quantify the differences between $F_s$ calculated by single-level measurements ($F_s_{-single}$ i.e., $F_s$ from scalars measured by profile system only at eddy covariance system measurement height) and $F_s$ calculated by profile measurements and verify the errors of NEE caused by $F_s_{-single}$. The rate of change in $CO_2$, $H_2O$, and Ta were varied with height depending on the magnitudes and distribution of sink and source and the stability in the atmospheric boundary layer. Thus, $F_s_{-single}$ underestimated or overestimated $F_s$ (especially 21% underestimation in $F_s$ of $CO_2$ around sunrise and sunset (0430-0800 h and 1630-2000 h)). For $F_{CO_2}$, the errors in $F_s_{-single}$ generated 3% and 2% underestimation of $F_{CO_2}$ during nighttime (2030-0400 h) and around sunrise and sunset, respectively. In the process of nighttime correction and partitioning of $F_{CO_2}$, these differences would cause an underestimation in carbon balance at the rice paddy. In contrast, there were little differences at the errors in LE and H caused by the error in $F_s_{-single}$, irrespective of time.
