The use of femtocells in buildings and homes has been widely studied as a means to enlarge the cell coverage and increase the network capacity of mobile communication systems. Femtocells for Mobile WiMAX (M-WiMAX) using time division duplexing (TDD) requires frame synchronization with neighboring base stations to avoid interference between uplink and downlink signals. In this paper, we propose a new frame synchronization method for femtocell using IEEE 802.11 based wireless backhaul, which transfers the time information of mobile network to femtocells via the beacon signal provided by IEEE 802.11. Also, in order to reduce timing error of the proposed method, we modify the collision avoidance scheme in the transmitter of IEEE 802.11 and apply a timing estimation technique designed in the sense of least squares to the receiver of IEEE 802.11. Through computer simulations using the proposed scheme, we evaluate the performance of frame synchronization for femtocells and show that the recovered timing information satisfies the timing specification defined by M-WiMAX standard.
We present the dependence of halo properties on two different Galactic potentials: the $St{\ddot{a}}ckel$ potential and the Milky Way-like potential known as "Galpy". Making use of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 12 (SDSS DR12), we find that the shape of the metallicity distribution and rotation velocity distribution abruptly changes at 15 kpc of $Z_{max}$ (the maximum distance of stellar orbit above or below the Galactic plane) and 32 kpc of $r_{max}$ (the maximum distance of an orbit from the Galactic center) in the $St{\ddot{a}}ckel$, which indicates that the transition from the inner to outer halo occurs at those distances. When adopting the $St{\ddot{a}}ckel$ potential, stars with $Z_{max}$ > 15 kpc show a retrograde motion of $V_{\phi}=-60km\;s^{-1}$, while stars with $r_{max}$ > 32 kpc show $V_{\phi}=-150km\;s^{-1}$. If we impose $V_{\phi}$ < $-150km\;s^{-1}$ to the stars with $Z_{max}$> 15 kpc or $r_{max}$> 32, we obtain the peak of the metallicity distribution at [Fe/H] = -1.9 and -1.7 respectively. However, there is the transition of the metallicity distribution at $Z_{max}=25kpc$, whereas there is no noticeable retrograde motion in the Galpy. The reason for this is that stars with high retrograde motion in the $St{\ddot{a}}ckel$ potential are unbound and stars with low rotation velocity reach to larger region of $Z_{max}$ and $r_{max}$ due to shallower potential in the Galpy. These results prove that as the adopted Galactic potential can affect the interpretation of the halo properties, it is required to have a more realistic Galactic potential for the thorough understanding of the dichotomy of the Galactic halo.
The relationship between exercise intensity, oxidative stress and antioxidant status has been studied in sixteen trained male athletes aged 20-25years. Subjects performed 30-40minutes of treadmill running at 65% of VO2 max(high intensity exercise). Blood samples were taken before and immediately after two exercise bouts for measurement of blood antioxidants, indices of lipid peroxidation and susceptibility of crythrocyte to peroxidation. Plasma concentrations of cholesterol(7.3%), vitamin C(7.5%) and uric acid(2.1%) were elevated a little after exercise at 65% of VO2 max(13.7%)were significantly high than before exercise(p<0.05). However, these exercise-induced changes could be partly due to significant decreases in plasma volume which occurred after both exercise bouts(p<0.05). Plasma volume decreased 5.85$\pm$2.06% and 11.25$\pm$2.87% with exercise at 65% and 85% of VO2 max, respectively. The erythrocyte susceptibility to peroxidation after exercise at 65% of VO2 max was unchanged compared with the value before exercise, whereas after exercise at 85% of VO2 max, it was significantly higher than after exercise at 65% and 85% of VO2 max as well as before exercise(p<0.05). A significant increase at 85% of VO2 max, it was significantly high than after exercise at 85% of VO2 max (29.10$\pm$4.76ug/g Hb)when compared with the level before exercise (24.61$\pm$3.45ug/g Hb)(p<0.05). The results suggest that exercise-induced changes in plasma levels of lipid peroxide and antioxidant need to be evaluated, taking the shift in plasma volume into consideration. Also, exercise at high intensity corresponding to 85% of VO2 max alters the erythrocyte antioxidant status in relation to exercise-induced of oxidative stress.

The effects of catalysts addition on the pyrolysis reaction of biomass have been studied in a thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA). The sample biomasses were Bamboo, Pine and Hinoki. The catalysts tested were K, Zn, Cu metal compounds. The pyrolysis reactions were tested in the nonisothermal condition from the room temperature to $550^{\circ}C$ at a heating rate $50^{\circ}C/min$ on the flowing of $N_2$ purge gases. Cellulose contents of Bamboo was higher than that of Pine and Hinoki. As the results, the pyrolysis reaction of volatile matter was finished near the temperature $450^{\circ}C$. The initial decomposition temperatures of the volatile matters ($T_i$) were $165^{\circ}C$ for Bamboo, $190^{\circ}C$ for Pine, and $193^{\circ}C$ for Hinoki. $T_i$ decreased with increasing the catalyst amounts in the sample biomasses. The temperature of maximum reaction rate ($T_{max}$) were $338^{\circ}C$ for Bamboo, $378^{\circ}C$ for Pine, and $377^{\circ}C$ for Hinoki. The effects of catalysts addition on the $T_{max}$ were to decreased it. The reducing effects about $T_{max}$ was the most effective for K metal compounds catalyst. The char amounts remained after pyrolysis at $550^{\circ}C$ were 26.2% for Bamboo, 20.7% for Pine, and 20.9% for Hinoki. The char amounts increased with the catalyst amounts.

The pharmacokinetics of florfenicol (FF) after oral administration was studied in the cultured olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). After single administration of FF (20 mg/kg body weight) by oral route in olive flounder ($700{\pm}50$ g, $23{\pm}1.5^{\circ}C$), the concentration in the serum was determined at 1, 5, 10, 15, 24, 30, 50 and 168 h post-dose. The kinetic profile of absorption, distribution and elimination of FF in serum were analyzed fitting to a two-compartment model by WinNonlin program. The area under the concentration-time curve (AUC), maximum concentration ($C_{max}$), time for maximum concentration ($T_{max}$) and elimination time were 22.51 ${\mu}g{\cdot}h/mL$, 0.84 ${\mu}g/mL$, 8.62 h and 447 h, respectively. The results of this study related to dosage and withdrawal times could be used for prescription of FF in field for the treatment of bacterial diseases in olive flounder.

The purpose of this work was to investigate pharmacokinetics of alcohol as a function of dose and time of administration of ethanol. The pharmacokinetics of alcohol 15 min after and before oral administration of aspartate-containing compositions to rats were also evaluated. The retention time of acetaldehyde, alcohol and isopropyl alcohol an internal standard in gas chromatogram was 3.6, 6.0 and 10.5 min, respectively. The maximum concentration of alcohol $(C_{max})$ and area under the blood concentration (AUC) were significanly increased as a function of ethanol dose in a nonlinear fashion. The significant diurnal variation of alcohol pharmacokinetics was also noted, showing fast metabolism and elimination when given orally in the night time. When APAP was given after administration alcohol (1g/kg) to rats, AUC and $C_{max}$ were increased when compared to alcohol only. However, AUC and $C_{max}$ were decreased when aspartate or standard complex compositions containing aceaminophen (APAP, 250mg). sodium L-aspartate(25 mg), dl-methionine (125 mg) and anhydrous caffeine (25 mg) was orally given by coupling malate/asparate shuttle in hepatocyte. The blood alcohol concentration profiles between aspartate and standard complex compositions were similar when given before or after administration alcohol (1g/kg) to rats. No significant difference of administration sequence was observed. However, it was noted that AUC and $C_{max}$ of standard complex compositions given before alcohol administration were significantly lower when compared with alcohol only. Based on these findings, dose, time of administration and composition of drugs to improve alcohol metabolism and elimination were considered to be important in the pharmacokinetics of alcohol. The administration sequence of drug compositions and alcohol might be also considerd.
We measured the Dill and Mack model parameters that determine the exposure and development characteristics of photoresists, respectively. First, photoresist samples were prepared while altering the exposure dose, and changes in transmittance were measured. Analyzing these results, the Dill model parameters A, B, and C were determined. In particular, the exact solution of the Dill model equation was used to determine the C parameter. In addition, changes in thickness were measured as a function of development time for different exposure doses, and the Mack model parameters Rmin, Rmax, a, and n were determined using the results. We also determined parameter values for the reduced Mack model that uses only three parameters, Rmin, Rmax, and n. The root mean square error between the model predictions and the measured values for the photoresist thickness was found to increase slightly compared to the case using the original Mack model with four parameters.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the bond strength of the core-veneer interface in all ceramic systems. Material and Methods: The all ceramic systems tested with their respective veneer were IPS Empress 2 with IPS Eris, IPS e.max Press with IPS e.max Ceram and IPS-e.max ZirCAD with IPS e.max Ceram. Cores (N=36, N=12/group, diameter: 10mm, thickness: 3mm) were fabricated according to the manufacturer's instruction and cleaned with ultrasonic cleaner. The veneer(diameter: 3mm, thickness: 2mm) were condensed in stainless steel mold and fired on to the core materials. After firing, they were again ultrasonically cleaned and embedded in acrylic resin. The specimens were stored in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 1 week. The specimens were placed in a mounting jig and subjected to shear force in a universal testing machine(Z020, Zwick, Germany). Load was applied at close to the core-veneer interface as possible with crosshead speed of 1.00mm/min until failure. Average shear bond strengths(MPa) were analyzed with a one-way analysis of variance and the Tukey test(${\alpha}=.05$). The failed specimens were examinated by scanning electron microscopy(JSM-6360, JEOL, Japan). The pattern of failure was classified as cohesive in core, cohesive in veneer, mixed or adhesive. Results: The mean shear bond strength($MPa{\pm}SD$) were IPS e.max Press $32.85{\pm}6.75MPa$, IPS Empress 2 $29.30{\pm}6.51MPa$, IPS e.max ZirCAD $28.10{\pm}4.28MPa$. IPS Empress 2, IPS e.max Press, IPS e.max ZirCAD were not significantly different from each others. Scanning electron microscopy examination revealed that adhesive failure did not occur in any all ceramic systems. IPS Empress 2 and IPS e.max Press exhibited cohesive failure in both the core and the veneer. IPS e.max ZirCAD exhibited cohesive failure in veneer and mixed failure.
Mobile WiMAX provides wireless broadband services for data communication based on IP protocol. The limitation of physical bandwidth in the radio links may cause performance degradation in providing wireless broadband services in WIMAX. To enhance the efficiency of the radio link utilization, Payload Header Suppression (PHS) is defined as an optional header compression mechanism for mobile WiMAX. It has, however, a very limited compression capability since it has very restrictive compression fields. In this paper, hence, we assumed the application of Robust Header Compression (ROHC), a header compression scheme proposed for links characterized by high bit error ratios, long round-trip times (RTT), and scarce resource, to Mobile WiMAX, and studied its performance. Previous studies on ROHC performance merely focused on the impact of high bit error rate. However, bit error is virtually transparent to ROHC in the wireless systems like WiMAX, since the MAC provides the bit error checking function. In order to evaluate the performance of ROHC in the Mobile WiMAX environments, therefore, we evaluated the performance of ROHC with respect to the packet losses instead of bit error. We investigated the impact of the ROHC parameters that are recommended for the implementation in the ROHC and compared the performance of ROHC with PHS.

The bioequivalence of two omeprazole enteric-coated products was evaluated in 16 normal male volunteers (age 26-32 yr, body weight 57-75 kg) following single oral administration. Test product was enteric-coated KD-182 tablet (Chong Kun Dang Corp., Korea) and reference product was $Rosec^{\circledR}$ capsule containing enteric-coated pellets of omeprazole (Yuhan Corp., Korea). Both products contain 20 mg of omeprazole. One tablet or capsule of the test or the reference product was administered to the volunteers, respectively, by randomized two period cross-over study ($2\;{\times}\;2$ Latin square method). Average drug concetrations at each sampling time and pharmacokinetic parameters calculated were not significantly different between two products(p>0.05); the area under the concentrationtime curve to last sampling time (8 hr) $(AUC_{0-8hr})$$(1946.5{\pm}675.3\;vs\;2018.3{\pm}761.6\;ng{\cdot}hr/ml)$, AUC from time zero to infinite $(AUC_{o-\infty})$$(2288.6{\pm}1212.8\;vs\;2264.9{\pm}1001.3\;ng{\cdot}hr/ml)$, maximum plasma concentration $(C_{max})$$(772.5{\pm}283.3\;vs\;925.8{\pm}187.7\;ng/ml)$, time to maximum plasma concentration $(T_{max})$$(2.38{\pm}1.06\;vs\;2.34{\pm}1.09\;hr)$, apparent elimination rate constant $(k_{\ell})$$(0.5339{\pm}0.2687\;vs\;0.5769 {\pm}0.2184\;hr^{-I})$, apparent absorption rate constant $(k_a)$$(1.1536{\pm}0.5278\;vs\;0.9739{\pm}0.9507 hr^{-1})$ and mean residence time (MRT) $(3.13{\pm}0.73\;vs \;3.41{\pm}1.04\;hr)$. The differences of mean $(AUC_{0-8hr})$, $C_{max}$, $T_{max}$ and MRT between the two products (3.69, 19.83, 1.32 and 8.99%, respectively) were less than 20%. The power $(1-{\beta})$ and treatment difference $(\triangle)$ for $AUC_{o-8hr}$$C_{max}$ and MRT were more than 0.8 and less than 0.2, respectively. Although the power for $T_{max}$ was under 0.8, $T_{max}$ of the two products was not significantly different each other(p>0.05). These results suggest that the bioavailability of KD-182 tablet is not significantly different from that of $Rosec^{\circledR}$ capsule. Therefore, two products are bioequivalent based on the current results.
