천연물 지표성분들의 세포독성 및 AP-1 활성 평가를 통한 암예방 기능성 탐색 (Screening of Natural Compounds for Cancer Prevention by Cytotoxicities and AP-1 Reporter Gene Activities)

  • 암을 유발하는 PMA는 세포를 자극하여 전사인자 C-Jun/C-fos의 발현을 증가시키며 핵 내의 AP-1의 활성을 증가하게 되고 결과적으로 각종 암이 발생된다고 보고되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 천연물 지표성분의 안전성을 보기위한 세포독성과 암예방 효과를 예측할 수 있는 Activator protein(AP-1) 활성억제를 관찰하였다. 천연물 지표성분 38종을 대상으로 세포독성과 AP-1 활성억제를 관찰한 결과 섬수의 지표성분인 Bufogein 과 Cinobufagin에서는 세포독성을 보이며 AP-1 활성 억제와 비교 시 5배 정도 차이를 보임을 알 수가 있다. 반면에 Arctigenin, Manassantin A, B에서는 AP-1 활성 억제 농도는 $2{\mu}M$ 이하이면서 세포독성과의 비율은 15배 이상임을 알 수 있다. 본 실험의 결과를 통해 우방자와 삼백초의 지표성분인 Arctigenin, Manassantin A,B는 암 예방 연구의 가능성을 시사하였다.

사이버전 피해평가 과정에서 비인가 무선 AP 공격 식별을 위한 기계학습을 이용한 데이타 분석 (Data analysis for detection of unauthorized AP using machine learning algorithm in the process of cyber war damage assessment)

  • 사이버전 피해평가에 있어서 유무선 통합 환경에 대한 공격의 탐지와 이에 대한 평가가 필요한 상황이다. 특히 회사, 정부 및 군 시설 등에서 인가되지 않은 AP를 사용하여 공격이 발생하는 경우 각종 바이러스 및 해킹 공격에 의한 피해가 발생한 가능성이 높다. 띠라서 인가된 AP와 인가되지 않은 AP를 탐지해서 찾아 내야한다. 본 논문에서는 인가된 AP와 인가 되지 않은 AP를 탐지하기 위해 RTT(Round Trip Time)값을 데이터셋으로 만들고 각 기계학습 알고리즘 SVM(Support Vector Machine), J48(C4.5), KNN(K nearest neighbors), MLP(Multilayer Perceptron)의 결과를 비교해 성능의 차이를 밝히고 이를 통하여 공격을 탐지하여 피해평가에 연결이 되도록 한다.

  • Although the STEP modularization is the major development methodology for STEP Application Protocol, there have been few studies on the STEP Modularization in Korea. The necessity of STEP Modularization research has been raised continuously. In addition, the importance became larger and larger because most of newly developing APs, including AP241, are developed using modularization approach. The object of this study is to investigate the basic structure and contents of AEC facilities related Application Modules using STEP Modularization. This study examines 1) the technical analysis regarding STEP Modularization, 2) application modules development regarding civil engineering elements of AP241; Aec_faciliteis_classification", "Aec_civil_item", and "Aec_civil_componet", 3) the developed application modules verification, and 4) the implementation methodology suggestion for application modules and modular AP.

대학 내 에너지 소비에 따른 온실가스-대기오염 통합 인벤토리 및 대체 에너지 사용 시나리오 분석 (A Study of GHG-AP Integrated Inventories and Alternative Energy Use Scenario of Energy Consumption in the University)

  • The university is one of the main energy consumption facilities and thereby releases a large amount of greenhouse gas (GHG). Accordingly, efforts for reducing energy consumption and GHG have been established in many local as well as international universities. However, it has been limited to energy consumption and GHG, and has not included air pollution (AP). Therefore, we estimated GHG and AP integrated emissions from the energy consumed by Seoul National University of Science and Technology during the years between 2010 and 2012. In addition, the effect of alternative energy use scenario was analysed. We estimated GHG using IPCC guideline and Guidelines for Local Government Greenhouse Inventories, and AP using APEMEP/EEA Emission Inventory Guidebook 2013 and Air Pollutants Calculation Manual. The estimated annual average GHG emission was $11,420tonCO_{2eq}$, of which 27% was direct emissions from fuel combustion sectors, including stationary and mobile source, and the remaining 73% was indirect emissions from purchased electricity and purchased water supply. The estimated annual average AP emission was 7,757 kgAP, of which the total amount was from direct emissions only. The annual GHG emissions from city gas and purchased electricity usage per unit area ($m^2$) of the university buildings were estimated as $15.4kgCO_{2eq}/m^2$ and $42.4tonCO_{2eq}/m^2$ and those per person enrolled in the university were $210kgCO_{2eq}$/capita and $577kgCO_{2eq}$/capita. Alternative energy use scenarios revealed that the use of all alternative energy sources including solar energy, electric car and rain water reuse applicable to the university could reduce as much as 9.4% of the annual GHG and 34% of AP integrated emissions, saving approximately 400 million won per year, corresponding to 14% of the university energy budget.

  • 최근 P. Peris-Lopez 등에 의하여 제안된 일련의 RFID 상호인증 프로토콜 LMAP[10], $M^2AP$[11], EMAP[12]은 간단한 논리 연산에 기반하여 경량 환경에서 높은 구현 효율성을 제공하도록 설계되었다. 그런데, T. Li 등은 [8,9]에서 전송 메시지를 변조하는 능동적 공격으로 위 프로토콜들에 대한 비동기화공격이 높은 확률로 적용됨을 보이고, 태그의 ID를 포함한 일부 비밀 정보를 얻을 수 있음을 보였다. 본 논문에서는 [9]의 일부 오류를 수정하여 비동기화공격이 항상 가능함을 보이고 LMAP에 대한 대폭 개선된 능동적 공격을 제시한다. 한편, $M^2AP$, EMAP에 대한 새로운 분석으로서, $2{\sim}3$개 연속 세션의 도청으로 태그의 ID를 포함한 일부 비밀 정보를 얻을 수 있음을 보인다. 이들 정보는 태그 추적 외에, $M^2AP$의 경우 태그 위장에도 사용될 수 있어 본고의 공격은 $M^2AP$와 EMAP의 치명적인 결함을 드러낸다고 하겠다.

젖소 유방염유래(乳房炎由來) 장내세균(腸內細菌)의 약제내성(藥劑耐性) 및 R. Plasmids (Drug Resistance and R. Plasmids of Enterobacteria Isolated from Bovine Udder Infections)

  • A total of 250 enteric bacteria (148 Escherichia coli, 41 Klebsiella pneumoniae, 46 Enterobacter spp. and 15 Proteus spp.) isolated from bovine udder infections in 1979 through 1980 were examined for drug resistance and prevalence of R. plasmids. The drug tested were streptomycin (SM), kanamycin (KM), ampicillin (AP), chloramphenicol (CP), tetracycline (TC), gentamicin (GM), oxolinic acid (OA) and nalidixic acid (NA). The detection of R. plasmids was performed with Escherichia coli ML 1410 NAr as the recipient. Of the 148 Escherichia coli isolated, 68(45.9%) were found to be resistant to one or more drugs tested, and about 50% of the resistant strains were multiply resistant. of the 68 drugresistant strains, 13(19.1%) were found to carry R. plasmids which were capable of performing a conjugal transfer. CP resistance was transfered together with the other resistance. Of 41 strains of Klebsiella pneumoniae isolated, 90.2% were resistant to the drugs, alone or in combination thereof. Strains resistant to AP and TC were 63.4%, and 48.8%, respectively. R. plasmids were detected in 78.4% of the drug-resistant strains, and these strains transfered all or a part of their drug resistance pattern. AP and CP resistance were transfered in 100% of AP and CP-resistant strains. Eleven (37.9%) of 29 R. plasmids showed a thermosensitive transfer. Of the 46 strains of Enterobacter spp. isolated, 37(80.4%) were resistant to the drugs tested. A high percentage of resistance was noted for AP(65.2%). All strains resistant to four or more drugs transferred their resistances to Escherichia coli ML 1410, but strains resistant to three or fewer drugs did not transfer the resistances. All of the 15 Proteus strains isolated were resistant to more than two drugs. of them, 6 were quadruple resistance to SM, KM, CP and TC, and 9 were double one to AP and TC. Three (20.0%) of the drug-resistant isolates had R.plasmids conferring AP and TC resistance. GM, OA and NA of the drugs tested were very active to all of 250 Gram-negative enteric bacteria isolated from bovine udder infections.

The Heterochromatin-1 Phosphorylation Contributes to TPA-Induced AP-1 Expression

  • Activator protein-1 (AP-1) is an inducible transcription factor that contributes to the generation of chronic inflammation in response to oxidative and electrophilic stress. Previous studies have demonstrated that the PI3K/Akt1 pathway plays an important role in the transcriptional regulation of AP-1 expression. Although the histone post-translational modifications (PTMs) are assumed to affect the AP-1 transcriptional regulation by the PI3K/Akt pathway, the detailed mechanisms are completely unknown. In the present study, we show that heterochromatin 1 gamma ($HP1{\gamma}$) plays a negative role in TPA-induced c-Jun and c-Fos expression. We show that TPA-induced Akt1 directly phosphorylates $HP1{\gamma}$, abrogates its suppressive function and increases the interaction between histone H3 and 14-3-$3{\varepsilon}$. Collectively, these our data illustrate that the activation of PI3K/Akt pathway may play a permissive role in the recruitment of histone readers or other coactivators on the chromatin, thereby affecting the degree of AP-1 transcription.

WiFi-AP 도플러 검파 기반의 무선 보안서비스 설계 (Design of WiFi-AP Doppler Detection based Wireless Security Services)

  • 본 논문에서는 와이파이(WiFi) 도플러 주파수의 검파를 기반으로 무선랜 AP(Access Point)용 송신기와 수신기의 부반송파(subcarrier)비콘 방식을 설계한다. 이로서 WiFi-AP에서 도플러 주파수의 감지 및 검파를 위해 어레이(array) 안테나와 RF 빔을 추정함으로서 사람의 움직임과 침입탐지를 검출할 수 있다. 이러한 무선 탐지와 무선 동작인식을 기반으로 한 WiFi 도플러 주파수 검파방식과 적응형 비콘(beacon)의 시간영역신호를 조합하는 무선보안 서비스 설계방안을 제안하였다.

이중토큰을 이용한 효율적인 Wi-Fi 보안 프로토콜 (Efficient Wi-Fi Security Protocol Using Dual Tokens)

  • WPA2-PSK는 클라이언트와 AP가 공유비밀키에 기반하여 4-way 핸드쉐이크 프로토콜을 이용하여 보안 세션을 설정하는 방식을 사용하고 있다. 이 방식은 도청공격 등 여러 가지 보안 문제점들이 제기되고 있으며 또한 효율성 측면에서도 클라이언트와 AP간에 여러번의 상호작용을 요구하여 보안세션 설정과정이 비효율적이다. WPA2의 보안 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 최근 WPA3 표준이 제안되고 있지만 근본적으로는 동일한 4-way 핸드쉐이크 방법론을 사용하는 소규모 개선이다. OAuth 2.0 토큰인증 기술은 한 번 인증이 확인된 클라이언트에게 서버가 토큰을 발급하여 인증상태를 오랜 기간 효율적으로 유지시킬 수 있는 인증유지 기술로 웹에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 OAuth 2.0 기술을 개선한 이중토큰을 이용하는 난수화토큰인증 기술을 Wi-Fi 보안 프로토콜에 결합 적용함으로써, 초기인증과 보안세션설정을 구분하여 효율성을 개선한 새로운 Wi-Fi 보안 프로토콜을 제시한다. 즉, 한 번 초기인증에 성공한 클라이언트에게는 AP가 이중토큰을 발급하고 이후에는 이것을 이용하여 한 번의 평문 메시지 교환만으로 빠르게 보안세션을 생성할 수 있도록 성능을 개선하였다.

우리나라 가축(家畜)에서 분리(分離)한 Salmonella 및 대장균(大腸菌)의 내성인자(耐性因子) R의 분포(分布) (Distribution of R Factors in Salmonella and Escherichia Coli Isolated from Korean Domestic Animals)

  • Recent reports confirm that R factors is widespread in Korea among Enterobacteriaceae isolated from humans. However, no reports have been made concerning the incidence of transferable drug resistance in domestic animals in this country. A total of 211 isolates of Escherichia coli, including 94 strains from dogs, 76 strains from pigs, 30 strains from chickens, and 21 strains from cow milk, were examined for drug resistance and distribution of R factors. And, respective two strains of Salmonella E group and Salmonella cholerasuis which were isolated from dogs and pigs, respectively were also examined for the same purposes. Of 211 strains of E. coli isolated, 66.8% were found to be resistant to 8 antibacterial agents such as streptomycin(SM), tetracycline(TC), chloramphenicol(CP), ampicillin sodium(AP), nalidixic acid(NA), gentamicin(GM), and polymyxin B(PX). Among the isolates, 86.2% of the strains from dogs, 70% of the strains from chickens, 43.4% of the strains from pigs, and 28.6% of the strains from milk, respectively, were found to be resistant to the drugs. The following percentage of resistance of E. coli to each individual drugs was encountered: of 94 strains from dogs, AP, 64.9%; SM, 20.2%; NA, 12.8%, CP and PX, 8.5% each; GM, 2.1% each; GM, 2.1%. Among 76 strains from pigs, 42.2% and 2.6% each were resistant to TC, AP and PX, respectively. Among 30 strains from chickens, 43.3% were resistant to SM, TC, AP, respectively, and no strains were resistant to the other drugs. No strains of the isolated from milk were resistant to the drugs, except that 28.6% were resistant to SM and AP, respectively. Of the strains from dogs, multiply resistant strains(56.8%) were more than singly resistant one(43.2%) and sixteen different drug resistant patterns were observed. The most frequently encountered patterns were AP TC AP and SM CP AP NA. Of the isolates from other sources, the most frequently encountered resistant patterns were as follows: TC among the strains from pigs; SM TC AP from chickens; SM AP from milk. Of the resistant strains from dogs, 32% carried R factors and the most common resistance patterns of R factors were AP TC AP and SM TC CP, whereas 35.2% of the resistant strains from pigs carried R factors of which the most common encountered pattern was TC. Of the resistant strains from chickens, 46.9% carried R factors of which the most common patterns were SM TC TC AP and AP, whereas 50% of the resistant strains from milk carried R factors of which the most common pattern was SM. Of 4 strains of Salmonella isolated, no strains were resistant to the drugs, except that only one strain of Salmonella E group isolated from a dog was resistant to AP. The strain did not harbor R factor.
