  • We find the distributional solutions of the Wilson's functional equations $$u{\circ}T+u{\circ}T^{\sigma}-2u{\otimes}v=0,\\u{\circ}T+u{\circ}T^{\sigma}-2v{\otimes}u=0,$$ where $u,v{\in}{\mathcal{D}}^{\prime}({\mathbb{R}}^n)$, the space of Schwartz distributions, T(x, y) = x + y, $T^{\sigma}(x,y)=x+{\sigma}y$, $x,y{\in}{\mathbb{R}}^n$, ${\sigma}$ an involution, and ${\circ}$, ${\otimes}$ are pullback and tensor product of distributions, respectively. As a consequence, we solve the $Erd{\ddot{o}}s$' problem for the Wilson's functional equations in the class of locally integrable functions. We also consider the Ulam-Hyers stability of the classical Wilson's functional equations $$f(x+y)+f(x+{\sigma}y)=2f(x)g(y),\\f(x+y)+f(x+{\sigma}y)=2g(x)f(y)$$ in the class of Lebesgue measurable functions.

  • The generalized noncommutative torus $T_{\rho}^d$ of rank m was defined in [2]. Assume that for the completely irrational noncommutative subtorus $A_{\rho}$ of rank m of $T_{\rho}^d$ there is no integer q > 1 such that $tr(K_0(A_{\rho}))=\frac{1}{q}{\cdot}tr(K_0(A_{\rho^{\prime}}))$ for $A_{\rho^{\prime}}$ a completely irrational noncommutative torus of rank m. All $C^*$-algebras ${\Gamma}({\eta})$ of sections of locally trivial $C^*$-algebra bundles ${\eta}$ over $M=\prod_{i=1}^{e}S^{2k_i}{\times}\prod_{i=1}^{s}S^{2n_i+1}$, $\prod_{i=1}^{s}\mathbb{PR}_{2n_i}$, or $\prod_{i=1}^{s}L_{k_i}(n_i)$ with fibres $T_{\rho}^d{\otimes}M_c(\mathbb{C})$ were constructed in [6, 7, 8]. We prove that ${\Gamma}({\eta}){\otimes}M_{p^{\infty}}$ is isomorphic to $C(M){\otimes}A_{\rho}{\otimes}M_{cd}(\mathbb{C}){\otimes}M_{p^{\infty}}$ if and only if the set of prime factors of cd is a subset of the set of prime factors of p, that $\mathcal{O}_{2u}{\otimes}{\Gamma}({\eta})$ is isomorphic to $\mathcal{O}_{2u}{\otimes}C(M){\otimes}A_{\rho}{\otimes}M_{cd}(\mathbb{C})$ if and only if cd and 2u - 1 are relatively prime, and that $\mathcal{O}_{\infty}{\otimes}{\Gamma}({\eta})$ is not isomorphic to $\mathcal{O}_{\infty}{\otimes}C(M){\otimes}A_{\rho}{\otimes}M_{cd}(\mathbb{C})$ if cd > 1 when no non-trivial matrix algebra can be ${\Gamma}({\eta})$.

  • We studied the relation between the tangential Cauchy-Riemann operator ${\={\partial}}_b$ CR-manifolds and the derivation $d^{{\pi}^{0,\;1}}$ associated to the natural projection map ${\pi}^{0.1}\;:\;TM\;{\bigotimes}\;{\mathbb{C}}\;=\;T^{1,0}\;{\bigoplus}\;T^{0,\;1}\;{\rightarrow}\;T^{0,\;1}$. We found that these two differential operators agree only on the space of functions ${\Omega}^0(M),\;unless\;T^{1,\;0}$ is involutive as well. We showed that the difference is a derivation, which vanishes on ${\Omega}^0(M)$, and it is induced by the Nijenhuis tensor associated to ${\pi}^{0.1}$.

  • In the present paper, following the pullback approach to Finsler geometry, we study intrinsically the Cv-reducible and generalized Cv-reducible Finsler spaces. Precisely, we introduce a coordinate-free formulation of these manifolds. Then, we prove that a Finsler manifold is Cv-reducible if and only if it is C-reducible and satisfies the 𝕋-condition. We study the generalized Cv-reducible Finsler manifold with a scalar π-form 𝔸. We show that a Finsler manifold (M, L) is generalized Cv-reducible with 𝔸 if and only if it is C-reducible and 𝕋 = 𝔸. Moreover, we prove that a Landsberg generalized Cv-reducible Finsler manifold with a scalar π-form 𝔸 is Berwaldian. Finally, we consider a special Cv-reducible Finsler manifold and conclude that a Finsler manifold is a special Cv-reducible if and only if it is special semi-C-reducible with vanishing 𝕋-tensor.
