$WS_2$ 고체 윤활제의 합성 (Synthesis of $WS_2$ Solid Lubricant)

  • The tungsten disulfide $(WS_2)$ solid lubricant was synthesized by two different reaction processes, i.e., the reaction between $CS_2$ gas phase and solid $WO_3$powder, and the vapour phase transport method of tungsten and sulfur in a high vacuum. The chemical and physical characteristics of synthesized $WS_2$powder were analyzed in terms of the average particle size, morphology, crystalline phase etc. in comparison with those of commercial $WS_2$powder. The solid $WO_3$ powder with the average size of 0.2 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ was reacted with $CS_2$gas flowed with$N_2$or 96%$N_2{\times}4%H_2$forming gas for 36 h and 24 h at 90$0^{\circ}C$ respectively. $WS_2$ crystalline phase was then formed through the intermediate phase of .$W_{20}O_{58}$ In the case of vapour phase transport method, the 3.5 wt% iodine was added as a vapour transport reagent into the composition of tungsten and sulfur powders maintaining a constant molar ratio of W:S=1:2.2. The mixture was then heat treated at 85$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 weeks in vacuum. The reaction product obtained showed the average size of 12 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and the hexagonal plate shape of typical solid lubricant with 2H-$WS_2$crystalline phase.

  • Ni/YSZ ($Y_2O_3$-stabilized $ZrO_2$) composite powder for a cathode material in high temperature electrolysis(HTE) was synthesized by a mechanical alloying method with Ni and YSZ powder. Microstructure of the composite and cell thickness for HTE reaction has been analyzed with various techniques of XRD, SEM to investigate effects of fabrication conditions. Employing the composite material, furthermore, the unit cell for HTE has been studied to evolve hydrogen from water. XRD patterns showed that the composites after wet mechanical alloying were composed of respective nano-sized crystalline Ni and YSZ. While ethanol as additive for mechanical alloying increased to $20\;{\mu}m$ of average particle size of the composites, alpha-terpineol effectively decreased to sub-micro size of that. This study has been found out the evolution of hydrogen by HTE reaction employing the fabricated cathode material, showing 1.4 ml/min of $H_2$ generation rate as increasing $20\;{\mu}m$ of cathode thickness.

알콕사이드로부터 Mullite분말의 합성 및 그 특성 (Synthesis of Mullite Powder from Alkoxides and Its Properties)

  • A very fine and pure mullite powder of the stoichiometric composition was prepared from aluminium isopropoxide and tetraethylorthosilicate by an alkoxide hydrolysis method using NH4OH as a catalytic agent. The gel powder obtained from the hydrolysis was calcined at 80$0^{\circ}C$ and 125$0^{\circ}C$. The average particle sizes of the powders calcined at 80$0^{\circ}C$ and 125$0^{\circ}C$ were 0.19${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 0.25${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$, respectively. The specific surface areas of the powders calcined at 80$0^{\circ}C$ and 125$0^{\circ}C$ were 114.7$m^2$/g and 20.6$m^2$/g, respectively. The bending strength and fracture toughness of the mullite ceramics sintered at 1$650^{\circ}C$ were 263.1MPa and 2.30MPa.m1/2 respectively.

분무열분해법에 의한 NiO 첨가 Al2O3 분체의 합성 (Synthesis of NiO-doped Al2O3 Powder by Spray Pyrolysis)

  • Al2O3 and NiO-doped Al2O3 powders were prepared from the ethanol solution of Al (NO3)3$.$9H2O and Ni(NO3)2$.$6H2O by spray pylolysis method using two-fluid nozzle. As a result of spraying test with 0.3 mol/{{{{ iota }} concentration starting solution, mean droplet sizes varied with 8.99∼9.69$\mu\textrm{m}$ and those standard deviation were 4.57∼5.12. As-prepared powders which were synthesized at 1000$^{\circ}C$ have spherical shape, sizes of 0.1∼3.0$\mu\textrm{m}$ and specific surface area of 22.34∼24.20㎡/g. Most powders consisted of {{{{ gamma }}-Al2O3 phase and transforned into ${\alpha}$-A;2O3 phase by calcination at 1100$^{\circ}C$ for 1 hr. NiO-doped Al2O3 sintered bodies had better sinterability than those of pure Al2O3 and 0.3 wt% NiO-doped Al2O3 had near theoretical density and dense microstructure.

Elemental Image Synthesis for Integral Imaging Using Phase-shifting Digital Holography

  • We propose a method generating elemental images for the integral imaging using 4-step phaseshifting digital holography. Phase shifting digital holography is a way recording the digital hologram by changing the phase of the reference beam and extracting the complex field of the object beam. Since all 3D information is captured by phase-shifting digital holography, the elemental images for any specifications of the lens array can be generated from single phase-shifting digital holography. In experiment, phase-shifting is achieved by rotating half- and quarter- wave plates and the resultant interference patterns are captured by a $3272{\times}2469$ pixel CCD camera with $27{\mu}m{\times}27{\mu}m$ pixel size.

  • NaCl과 KCl을 1 : 1 mole비로 한 용융염 합성법으로 $xPb(Fe_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3 - (1 - x)Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$(x=0-1.0)을 제조하였으며, 이의 분말 특성 및 유전성을 연구하였다. 용융염 합성법에 의해 제조된 $xPb(Fe_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3 - (1 - x)Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$의 분말은 $2 \mu\textrm{m}$ 이하의 평균입도를 갖고 비교적 응집이 적었다. 용융법 합성법으로 제조된 $x0.3Pb(Fe_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3-0.7Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3$ 세라믹스는 $1000{\times}C$에서 제조가 가능하며, 11,000이상의 유전상수를 갖는다.

  • [ $0.6Pb(Sc_{1/2}Ta_{1/2})O_3-0.4PbTiO_3$ ](이후 PSTT) 세라믹스를 KCI을 flux로 사용한 용융염 합성법을 이용하여 제조하였다. $600^{\circ}C$에서 $850^{\circ}C$까지 온도를 상승시키면서, 시차열분석기와 X-선 회절기를 이용하여 perovskite 상의 형성과정을 조사하였다. 용융염 합성법의 경우 $750^{\circ}C$에서 2시간 하소하였을 때, 92%의 perovskite 상의 생성율을 나타낸 반면, 일반하소법의 경우는 $850^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 하소하였을 때도 82%의 perovskite상의 생성율을 나타내었다. 이는 flux로 사용된 KCI 용융으로 인한 $Sc_2O_3$의 반응성의 향상에 기인한 것으로 생각된다. $1,100^{\circ}C$에서 4시간 소결한 PSTT 시편의 경우, 용융염 합성법으로 제조된 시편이 일반하소법으로 제조된 시편에 비해 큰 11,200의 유전상수와 $13.5{\mu}C/cm^2$의 잔류분극, 10.198kV/cm의 항전계 값을 나타내었으며 이를 미세구조 관점에서 고찰하였다.

Optimization red emission of SrMoO4: Eu3+ via hydro-thermal co-precipitation synthesis using orthogonal experiment

  • In the present study, the $SrMoO_4:Eu^{3+}$ phosphors has been synthesized through hydro-thermal co-precipitation method, and single factor and orthogonal experiment method was adopted to find optimal synthesis condition. It is interesting to note that hydro-thermal temperature is a prominent effect on the luminescent intensity of $SrMoO_4:Eu^{3+}$ red phosphor, followed by co-precipitation temperature, calcining time, and the doping amount of $Eu^{3+}$. The optimal synthesis conditions were obtained: hydro-thermal temperature is $145^{\circ}C$, co-precipitation temperature is $35^{\circ}C$, the calcining time is 2.5 h, and the doping amount of activator $Eu^{3+}$ is 25%. Subsequently, the crystalline particle size, phase composition and morphology of the synthesized phosphors were evaluated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that these phosphors possess a scheelite-type tetragonal structure, and the particle size is about $0.2{\mu}m$. Spectroscopic investigations of the synthesized phosphors are carried out with the help of photo-luminescence excitation and emission analysis. The studies reveal that $SrMoO_4:Eu^{3+}$ phosphor efficiently convert radiation of 394 nm-592 and 616 nm for red light, and the luminescence intensity of $SrMoO_4:Eu^{3+}$ phosphors is improved. $SrMoO_4:Eu^{3+}$ phosphors may be a potential application for enhancing the efficiency of white LEDs.

참나무 목초액의 항균 및 항산화 활성과 일산화질소 합성 저해연구 (Antimicrobial and Antioxidant Activities and Inhibition of Nitric Oxide Synthesis of Oak Wood Vinegar)

  • 참나무 목초액은 예로부터 농축산업에 이용되어 왔으며 최근에는 항균 및 항산화 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀지면서 목초액에 대한 과학적인 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 참나무 목초액의 항균 및 항산화 활성과 면역기능에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 참나무 목초액의 항균활성은 식품 부패균 및 치주질환 원인균에 대하여 항균활성을 조사하였는데 목초액 $50{\mu}l$ 첨가시 대부분의 식품부패균 및 치주질환 원인균의 생육이 현저히 저해되었다. 참나무 목초액의 항산화력은 DPPH법에서 $20{\mu}l$ 첨가시 95%의 라디칼 소거능을 보였으며 SOD유사활성은 $50{\mu}l$ 첨가시 65%의 항산화력을 나타내었다. 참나무 목초액의 항염증효과는 세균의 LPS를 처리하여 유도된 RAW264.7 세포에서 조사되었는데 LPS를 처리하여 유도된 NO 활성을 현저히 감소(86%)시켰으며 이 농도에서 세포독성 없이 높은 면역 효과를 나타내었다.

폼 형태의 다공성 탄화규소 지지체 표면 위에 ZSM-5 합성 (Synthesis of ZSM-5 on the Surface of Foam Type Porous SiC Support)

  • 고분자 복제방법을 이용하여 제조한 폼 형태의 다공성 탄화규소 표면에 수열 합성 방법을 적용하여 ZSM-5를 합성하였다. 다공성 탄화규소 표면으로부터 ZSM-5가 합성될 수 있도록 유도하기 위하여 합성단계에 앞서 탄화규소 표면에 산화 층을 형성하였다. 수열합성 반응은 산화처리 된 다공성 탄화규소와 TEOS, $Al(NO_3){\cdot}9H_2O$ 및 TPAOH를 원료로 사용하여 $150^{\circ}C$에서 7시간 진행하였다. XRD 및 SEM 분석을 통하여 $1{\sim}3{\mu}m$ 크기의 ZSM-5가 다공성 탄화규소 표면에 코팅되어 성장하였음을 확인하였다. BET 분석결과 ZSM-5 합성 후에 $10{\AA}$이하의 미세기공이 급격히 증가하였으며, 비표면적이 $0.83m^2/g$에서 $30.75m^2/g$으로 급격히 증가되었음을 알 수 있었다.
