Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the nursing students' metacognition and learning flow. Methods: The participants in this study were 272 nursing students. Between November and December 2017, data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using PASW (SPSS) 21.0 program, and descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: The mean metacognition of this study was 3.53/5, and mean of learning flow was 3.34/5. The significant learning flow according to metacognition level (F=46.75, p<.001). The significant correlates of metacognition were learning flow (r=.54, p<.001). Conclusions: The finding of study showed that metacognition was very important for enhancing learning flow influenced these relationship. This study suggested that it is important to develop and implement teaching and learning strategies with improved metacognition in nursing education field.

Purpose. This study reported on body type perception of people aged ${\geq}19years$, regardless of gender, and on its association with disease morbidity and the quality of life and aimed to observe the effects of stress on body weight perception, disease morbidity, and the quality of life. Methods. The data from 218,899 persons aged ${\geq}19years$ who were respondents to the 2010 Community Health Survey were finally analyzed. A designated program was used to perform complex sample analysis; chi-square test was carried out to determine body type perception by the general characteristics and disease status and analyze health-related behavior and weight control behavior by body type perception, and multiple logistic regression was used to observe the effects of body type perception on mental health and the quality of life. Results. 34.9% of all the respondents misperceived their body type and females were more likely to misperceive their body type. The older they were, the more poorly they perceived their body type; those perceiving their body type poorly were significantly more susceptible to both hypertension and diabetes. When correction was made in relation to gender, age, and so on, those perceiving their body type excessively were more susceptible to hypertension (1.43[1.367-1.050]) and diabetes morbidity (1.36[1.294-1.428]). Body type perception affected the quality of life: the respondents perceiving their body type poorly (0.91[0.884-0.940]) or excessively (0.75[0.720-0.770]) showed lower quality of life than those perceiving their body type correctly. Conclusions. Distorted body type perception affected disease morbidity and the quality of life: the respondents excessively perceiving their body type were significantly more susceptible to both hypertension and diabetes and those perceiving their body type excessively or poorly showed lower quality of life than those perceiving it correctly. It is therefore necessary to make multilateral efforts to cultivate correct body type perception.

Purpose. In this study, we aim to clarify the correlation between happiness, appearance, and happiness index among many happiness factors based on the influence of quality of life on the quality of life and the affect of appearance on the happiness index. Methods. We conducted a self - filling questionnaire survey for college students in Busan from March 30 to May 10, 2017, and analyzed 392 copies of the 412 questionnaires, excluding 20 inappropriate copies. In the questionnaire, categorical data were analyzed by frequency and percentage (%) using the SPSS program (ver. 23.0, Chicago, Illinois, USA) by examining 11 items of general characteristics, successive data are presented as mean standard deviation. Results. The higher the grades, the better the dating. Women(3.32) are more likely than men(2.74) at the appearance interest(p>0.001) and the higher the grades, the better. If it's dating someone else, higher than not to do at the appearance interest and all of the questions showed higher interest in appearance. Also there was a high percentage of thought'My life is ideal in all aspects'If it's dating someone else, higher than not to do (p=0.007) Conclusion. At present, There is a high interest in the appearance of dating. In addition, the happiness index according to the current resentment status was higher in both the single item happiness index and the 5 item happiness index, and was significant in the item "My life is ideal in all aspects". Therefore, it is related to the happiness index as well as the appearance interest. Finally, whether or not dating and appearance interest play a role in raising the happiness of the individual.

Purpose: This study intends to understand the correlation between career satisfaction and career decision self - efficacy and career maturity of nursing students, and to examine whether career satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy affect career maturity. Methods: The data analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 were collected from April 1, 2016 to April 15, 2014 in 184 students at the four-year college of Nursing in J city. Results: The results of the analysis of the correlation between major satisfaction, career decision self-efficacy and career maturity of nursing college students indicate that there was a positive correlation with career maturity (r=.428, p<.001), career decision self-efficacy (R=.442, p<.001) and majors' satisfaction (r=.605, p<.001) either. likewise, career maturity and career maturity were positively correlated with career maturity and career satisfaction. Conclusions: Therefore, it is possible to enhance and improve adaptation to major through conversations in conjunction with counseling and career guidance from the entrance, and maintaining intimate and solid relationship between the students and professors, also, the students and senior of whom, leading to intensify positive implication to future career.

Purpose. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of lens color of sunglasses on stereoacuity by experiment. Methods. We conducted a stereotaxic test using a RANDOM DOT with a polarizing lens at an examination distance of 40 cm in 100 men and women aged 20 to 60 years without any specific ocular disease. Then, seven kinds of PVC color film such as yellow, black, brown, red, purple, blue and green were put on the polarizing lens and the stereoscopic examination was carried out again. Results. When the lens color of the sunglasses is yellow, black, and brown, it affects less stereoscopic effect. However, red, purple, blue, and green have much influence on stereoscopic effect. Especially, the red and purple colors affected the stereoscopic vision. In blue and green, the effect of stereoscopic vision was different according to the people. Conclusions. Depending on the lens color of the sunglasses, stereoscopic vision is affected, which can cause problems in binocular vision. Therefore, when choosing sunglass lens color, many buyers need to pay attention.

Purpose: To investigate the corneal thickness and anterior chamber depth (ACD) of eyes with Keratoconus in the Korean population with the Pentacam. Methods: The subjects consisted of 84 eyes from Keratoconic adults aged 7-59 years during 2010. The thinnest area, apex zone, and pupil centre of the corneal thickness were measured using the Pentacam pachymetry. ACD value was also measured with Pentacam. Results: There was a statistically significant relationship between thickness of the cornea at the apex area and the pupil centre (p=0.0001). However, there was no statistical difference (p>0.5) in the mean thickness of thinnest area, apex zone, pupil centre of cornea between right eye and left eye. Also, correlation between ACD and corneal thickness in all subjects had no statistical differences (p>0.05) in all subjects. Conclusion: These results suggested that the regional thickness of cornea and ACD with Pentacam can provide correct and useful diagnostic information of the morphology of Keratoconus for the RGP contact lens and diagnosis of abnormal corneal refraction surgery.
