가정과 교육의 발전방향을 모색하기 위한 가정과 교사들의 교수행동 분석 (An Analysis of Professional Teaching Practices Reported by Home Economics Teachers for Improving Home Economics Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the types of professional teaching practice of Home Economics teachers who are working at Korean secondary school for changing their professional teaching practice and developing home economics curriculum. A mail questionnaire, Professional Teaching Practice(PTP) was used to survey randomly selected 525 Home Economics teachers. The professional teaching practices examined were customary-instrumental, interactive and reflective practices. Customary-instrumental practice was the predominant type of professional teaching practice used by Home Economics teachers. About 26% of the teachers used reflective practice, and 14.67% used interactive practice. Only the number of students was significantly related to their professional teaching practices. Five influential factors on teaching practices identified by Home Economics teachers emerged in the following order: examination-centered educational system, lack of class hours, lack of resource materials and facilities, demands from the Ministry of Education, school administrators, or parents, and large class sizes.

조선 후기 풍속화를 통해 본 아동인식 (The Perception of Children in Folk Paintings of the Late Chosun Period)

  • This study of 54 folk paintings of the late chosen period analyzed the perception of children of that period. Three types of children's activities were identified: children playing, children working hard, and children studying hard. Only boys participated in these activities along with their parents or grandparents: girls were relegated to the background, along the fence. Conclusions were that people recognized play as a natural part of childhood. children's lives were defined by social status: children of the yangban (upper) class had to study hard for their family's honor while children of the lower classes had to labor for their family's livelihood, children were recognized as members of a family and a community. Boys were considered important because they were heirs to the family fortune: girls were to be supportive of men and family.

한부모가족의 시간사용과 시간부족감의 성차 분석 (Time Use and Time Famine in Single-Parent Families: A Comparison of Single-Mothers and Fathers)

  • This study was aimed at exploring gender differences in time use and time famine between single-parent families. Data were obtained from the time use surveys, that were conducted by the Korea National Statistical Office in 2014. A total of 500 time diaries (168 from fathers, 332 from mothers) from single-parents aged between 20 and 59 were analyzed. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, and t-test were used for the statistical analyses. Results indicated that the single-parent families exhibit gender differences in time use and subjective time famine. The single-mothers spend a significantly longer amount of time on housework and less time on leisure than do the single-fathers. The single fathers and mothers also differ in time use and time famine according to employment status and working days on/off.

아버지 역할수행의 결정요인 연구 (Determinants of Father's Role Performance)

  • The purpose of this research was to examine variables contributing to the father's role performance. The study has been designed to measure the quantitative(i.e. amount of involvement) and the qualitative(i.e. depth of affection/care) values in their modes of child-rearing practices by taking a clouter look at the father's views on their careers and on offspring. Subjects were 516 fathers of school-age children. Analyzing the factors that determine the quantitative and qualitative aspects of child-rearing practices by the fathers, the sense of fulfillment/value in life is the decisive factor behind the affection(i.e. qualitative) in the child-rearing practices. The resets indicated that the father's perceptions on their careers and on their children constitute the critical factors behind the qualitative and quantitative aspects of child-rearing practices, albeit holding such factors as the parents'working hour or as mothers with outside jobs under control.

  • This qualitative case study focused on the workers' flexibility needs. We selected eight full-time workers from one 2009 family friendly certified firm for observation and in-depth interview. The workers are categorized into three groups; male employees with housewives, double income family workers depending on extended family, and double income family workers depending on paid babysitter. The spouse's work status and informal extended familial support to child care were crucial factors to influence their work family life styles and flexibility needs. The flex time is the most desirable everyday needs for the dual working child caring parents depending on the paid help. And the female workers' concerned about the stigma effect of the institutionalized flexibility use of the inferior labors.

맞벌이 부부의 양육 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 생태학적 관련 변인 탐색 (An Ecological Approach to Analysis of Variables in the Parenting Stress of the Dual-Earner Mothers and Fathers)

  • The objective of this research was to determine the relative impact of demographic variables and ecological factors on the parenting stress of dual earner families. Subjects were 318 fathers and 405 mothers who completed the questionnaire on parenting stress and ecological factors. Results showed that mothers perceived high parenting stress compared with fathers. Degree of satisfaction with child care was a significant correlate of parenting stress. Demographic and ecological factors were also important in understanding the variation in parenting stress of dual earner families. These findings imply that the formal child care systems and parent education programs are needed for working parents.

  • Education using the internet, such as a virtual school and distance education, has been limited to the studies of content and method in learning, It has been less studied to make advantage of internet with regard to school administration, teachers' research, and efficient communication within a school. Therefore, it is suggested to implement groupware which can be used in a school environment. For this purpose, this study attempts to design and implement groupware on that purpose. The main content consists of 7 areas: introduction of the school(including children's room), notice room, working room, room for educational materials, individual information, parents' room, internet journey. The basic tool for a groupware is implemented on Windows NT 4.0 Server and subsequent IIS 2.0. DB management based on SQL Server 6.5 makes it enable to manage various information.

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the mediating effects of communication skills and pediatric nurse-parent partnership on the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction among pediatric nurses. Methods: A survey was administered to 205 pediatric nurses working in children's, general, and tertiary hospitals situated in Chungcheong province and Seoul. Data were collected in August and September 2022. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics version 26.0 along with the PROCESS macro program. Results: Emotional intelligence had a significant effect, and was a critical factor affecting the job satisfaction of pediatric nurses. Furthermore, communication skills and nurse-parent partnership had a serial double mediating effect. Conclusion: These findings underscore the significance of conducting job satisfaction improvement programs, including strategies for augmenting emotional intelligence, bolstering communication skills, and fostering nurse-parent partnership.

반응성애착장애아의 어머니-아동 관계 (MOTHER-CHILD RELATIONSHIP OF CHILDREN WITH REACTIVE ATTACHMENT DISORDER)

  • 본 연구는 반응성 애착 장애 아동(Reactive Attachment Disorder, 이하 ‘RAD’)의 혼란된 부모-아동 관계를 애착이론의 입장에서 체계적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 1994년 8월에서 1995년8월 사이 소아정신과에 내원한 RAD 아동과 어머니 20쌍과 비교집단으로 정상 아동과 어머니 20쌍을 대상으로, 아동에 대한 내적 실행 모델 면접(Working Model of Child Interview, 1986)과 낯선 상황 절차(Strange Situation Procedure, 1978), 부모-아동 상호작용 척도(Dyadic Parent-child Interaction Coding Scales, 1983)을 실시하여 어머니의 아동에 대한 내적 표상과 어머니의 내적 표상 유형과 아동의 애착 유형과의 관계, 내적 표상 유형에 따른 어머니-아동 상호작용 양상을 살펴보았다. 1) 대상 어머니들을 3가지 내적 표상 유형으로 분류해 본 결과, 비교 집단 어머니는 모두 균형된 표상으로 분류되었고 RAD 집단 어머니는 비개입된 표상(55%), 왜곡된 표상(45%)으로 분류되었다. 2) 어머니의 아동에 대한 내적 표상 유형은 아동의 애착 유형과 체계적으로 연관되었다. 균형된 표상의 어머니의 아동은 모두 안정 애착이었고 비개입된 표상 어머니의 82%는 그 아동이 불안/회피 애착으로 분류되었고 왜곡된 표상 어머니는 56%가 그 아동이 비조직/비일관 애착, 33%는 불안/저항 애착으로 분류되었다. 3) 어머니-아동 상호작용에서, 비개입된 표상의 어머니는 아동 중심 놀이에서 균형된 표상의 어머니에 비해 묘사적 진술, 반영적 진술, 묘사/반영적 질문을 적게 사용하였고 왜곡된 표상의 어머니는 균형된 표상의 어머니에 비해 직접 명령과 간접 명령을 많이 사용하였다. 장난감 정리하기 과제에서 비개입된 표상과 왜곡된 표상의 어머니는 균형된 표상의 어머니보다 직접명령, 간접명령을 더 많이 사용하였다. 위의 결과를 통해서 볼 때, 어머니의 아동에 대한 내적 실행 모델은 아동과의 애착 관계와 어머니-아동 상호작용에 중요한 요인으로서 혼란된 어머니-아동 관계를 이해하는데 효율적인 접근을 제공하며 아동에 대한 치료적 개입에 유용한 정보를 제공해 줄 것으로 생각된다.

어머니의 양육죄책감 및 양육스트레스가 양육태도에 미치는 영향 : 종일제 어린이집을 이용하는 어머니를 대상으로 (The Effects of a Mother's Guilty Conscience and Parenting Stress on Parenting Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 서울시와 경기도 소재 종일제 어린이집에 다니는 243명 유아의 어머니를 대상으로 양육죄책감과 양육스트레스가 양육태도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 했다. 연구의 자료분석은 SPSS 17.0 for Window를 이용하여 실시하였으며, t-test, Pearson 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 모학력과 모취업유무에 따른 어머니의 양육죄책감, 양육스트레스 및 양육태도의 차이로는, 전문대졸 이하의 학력인 어머니보다 대졸 이상의 학력인 어머니의 부정적 양육태도가 높고, 취업모가 비취업모보다 긍정적 양육태도가 더 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육죄책감과 양육스트레스는 어머니의 긍정적 양육태도와는 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 부정적 양육태도와는 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 긍정적 양육태도와 부정적 양육태도에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변인은 양육죄책감으로 나타났다.
