공유오피스의 커뮤니티 중심 공간 구성 특성 (Space Composition Characteristics Analysis of the Community-Centered Shared Office)

  • The number of shared offices has increased and changed within the flow of the era into various forms in recent days. Co-working spaces and related shared space businesses are growing fast, keeping pace with the trend recently. It is confirmed that the need of spaces grew 180% since 2015 to 2017. Most of the shared offices in Seoul are placed in Gangnam circle, it is verified that shared office is providing work, space, and community by visiting cases of foreign companies, domestic companies, local companies. Meanwhile, shared space can be categorized into serviced office, co-working space, virtual office, and daily office. It is to consider various target levels by leasing service or the difference of costs. It is divided into forms of dispersion, circulation, and concentration and is planned to increase the utilization of communities' traffic according to the allocation of shared office. The business is conducted network-centered. During the process of communication, members can get chances to exchange and build communities. They are making business ecosystem which they can coexist and grow together. Shared offices have a view of a solution to empty rooms and will last for a while, and it is expected that co-working system be settled as office space and giving people sense of belonging on their workspace.

Model-based process control for precision CNC machining for space optical materials

  • During fabrication process for the large space optical surfaces, the traditional bound abrasive grinding with bronze bond cupped diamond wheel tools leaves the machine marks and the subsurface damage to be removed by subsequent loose abrasive lapping. We explored a new grinding technique for efficient quantitative control of precision CNC grinding for space optics materials such as Zerodur. The facility used is a NANOFORM-600 diamond turning machine with a custom grinding module and a range of resin bond diamond tools. The machining parameters such as grit number, tool rotation speed, work-piece rotation speed, depth of cut and feed rate were altered while grinding the work-piece surfaces of 20-100 mm in diameter. The input grinding variables and the resulting surface quality data were used to build grinding prediction models using empirical and multi-variable regression analysis methods. The effectiveness of the grinding prediction model was then examined by running a series of precision CNC grinding operation with a set of controlled input variables and predicted output surface quality indicators. The experiment details, the results and implications are presented.

복지공간으로서 인보관을 통한 사회복지실천의 뜻과 정체성의 사유 : 토인비 홀과 헐 하우스의 비교 (Meaning and identity of social work practice by thinking through settlement house as a welfare space : Comparison of Toynbee Hall and Hull House)

  • 이 연구에서 19세기말-20세기 초 영국의 토인비 홀과 미국의 헐 하우스 두 인보관의 사상과 활동을 소환하는 목적은 첫째, 당시 사회복지실천이 점진적으로 형태를 갖추게 된 계기와 당초의 뜻을 찾아보는 것이다. 둘째, 개인화의 문제와 대안의 공동체 만들기가 공존하는 이 시기에 당시 '사회적 일'로 시작된 맥락과 영국과 미국의 특징적인 활동을 통해 사회복지실천의 현재 의미와 정체성에 유용한 함의를 얻고자 하였다. 이 연구는 기존 문헌들을 활용하여 서사를 고찰하되 인보관이라는 장소가 복지공간으로 구성된 당시 시대정신과 활동, 지도력을 목적과 위치, 전문성과 교육, 사회행동 차원으로 분석하며 오늘의 의미를 살리고자 하였다. 유용한 분석 결과는 첫째, 자선조직협회와 인보관은 상반되기 보다는 빈곤에의 대응책으로 '제안-실행-비판-대안의 제안-사회복지실천의 대두'가 진행된 일련의 과정 속에서 볼 필요가 있다. 둘째, 인보관은 빈곤문제를 중심으로 계층, 젠더, 개인적인 것과 사회적인 것, 민간과 공공의 개입 등 여러 현상을 담은 담지자로서 복지공간을 구성하였다. 셋째, 두 인보관은 상이점도 있지만 둘 다 공공의 선과 안녕을 목적으로 하여 사회적인 일, 즉 사회복지실천을 구체화시켰다. 끝으로, 인보관의 복지공간으로서의 의의와 사회복지실천을 위한 함의를 논의하였다.

지하철 기관사 휴게 공간 디자인을 위한 요구조사 분석 (Survey Analysis for Resting Space Design of Subway Driver)

  • There is an increasing trend each year in the number of subway users due to increase in the traffic volume. As the number of train service has risen, the subway drivers are given heavy work and from the same, are put at risk of mental health deterioration due to stress. As this is directly connected to safety, there is an urgent need for improvement of the situation. Therefore, as a way to appropriately relieve such stress, resting space where mental and physical energy can be recharged is necessary. Thus, this research conducted a survey of demand with subway drivers as subjects in order to provide resting space that can offer healthy rest and increase work effectiveness. 50 subway drivers were the subjects of this survey. As a result of analyzing the contents of the survey, environmental satisfaction was shown to be the lowest compared to psychological and morphological satisfaction. In the case of sleeping room, they wanted more comfortable and individual space. And the waiting room had the highest rate of usage frequency. The storage space was where the subway drivers showed the strongest attachment and was shown to be the only personal space. Most were shown to be satisfied with the outdoor space, but it had the lowest usage frequency. In addition, it is nessasery customized storage cabinet designed for subway drivers should be produced, which can effectively arrange the limited space. I hope that these direction of improvement can increase the healthy rest and work effectiveness of the locomotive engineers as it is directly being connected to the health and safety of the citizens.

착저형 수중장비를 이용한 수중작업 시 작업경계면 인식을 위한 소나시스템 활용법 (Sonar System Application for detection of underwater work space boundary using seabed type underwater equipments)

  • 수중사석고르기 장비와 같은 착저형 수중장비를 활용하여 해저면에서 수중 작업을 수행할 경우 해당 장비는 작업경계면을 정확히 인식하고 작업장 내에 자리잡고 있는 것이 중요하다. 이는 장비 전복과 같이 장비 안전사고와 직결될 수 있기 때문이다. 이 때 작업경계면 표식을 위해서는 잠수부의 도움이 필수적인데, 이를 위하여 잠수부가 수중작업을 수행할 때 작업이 용이하면서도 시중에서 쉽게 구할 수 있으며 재료를 선정하는 것이 중요한데 나일론줄을 해저면에 설치하여 작업경계를 표시하도록 하였다. 수중에서 주변 환경을 관찰하기 위하여 소나와 팬틸트를 이용하여 소나시스템을 구성하였으며 이를 이용하여 거리변화에 따른 수중 작업경계면 탐지 여부를 확인하였다. 또한 수중사석고르기 장비에 최종적으로 소나시스템을 설치하고 나일론줄로 표시된 작업경계면에 대한 탐지여부를 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 활용하여 착저형 수중장비를 이용한 수중작업 시 작업경계면 인식을 수행할 수 있는 방안을 확보하였다. 작업경계면 인식 방안을 활용할 경우 추후에 개발될 수 있는 다양한 종류의 착저형 수중작업 장비의 작업절차에 광범위하게 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

웹 기반 협동 CAD시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on Web-based Collaborative CAD System)

  • As computer system and information/communication technology develop rapidly, nowadays CSCW(Computer Supported Collaborative Work) system appears, through which it is available to work on virtual space without any restriction of time and place. Most of Un systems depend on a special network and groupware. The systems of graphics and CAD are not so many because they are characterized by Hardware and application software. In this paper, we propose a web-based collaborative CAD system which can be jointly worked on Internet WWW being independent from any platforms. It can generate and handle objects easily using lava 3D, and it can transmit, print, and store them. The interactive work for designing objects can be also carried out through dialling with each other. This system is executed in the environment of Client/server. Clients connect to the server through lava applet on WWW. The server is implemented by lava application, and it consists of three components : connection manager which controls the contact to users, work manager which keeps viewing in concurrency and provides virtual work space sharing with others, and solid modeler which generates 3D object.

  • In this research work, we introduce and investigate four innovative types of soft spaces, pushing the boundaries of traditional spatial concepts. These new types of soft spaces are named as soft Tb space, soft T#b space, soft T##b space and softαT#b space. Through rigorous analysis and experimentation, we uncover and propose distinct characteristics that define and differentiate these spaces. In this research work, we have established that every soft $T_{\frac{1}{2}}$ space is a soft αT#b space, every soft Tb space is a soft αT#b space, every soft T#b space is a soft αT#b space, every soft Tb space is a soft T#b space, every soft T#b space is a soft T##b space, every soft $T_{\frac{1}{2}}$ space is a soft #Tb space and every soft Tb space is a soft #Tb space.

  • This study places a great emphasis on the approaches to the space environment we inhabit, which I hope will contribute to generating a number of creative possibilities. Looking into 'site-specificity' which is characteristic by public art in public space method based on Daniel Buren's works 'in situ', this study analyze the relationship between the public space and works of art as a perspective of public art. The characteristics of his 'in situ' works that intervened works exist as space consisting of serial factors not simply art-object, and they suggest 'site Is a work'. The case study of Daniel Buren's public art project represented the results, the site marketing and serves as a guideline for the future of true Art/Space experiments. This study verifies the need for the arts and the space to work together in order to develop more creative and conceptual approaches to innovation and presentation. This cooperation is the continuation of space design by other means.

루이스 칸 건축공간의 빛의 특성 고찰 (A Study on the Characteristic of the Light in Louis I. Kahn's Architectural Space)

  • A study of light in Kahn's architecture must be significance as a work in building new architectural space and a new foundation for architecture, as well as clarification of the uniqueness of Kahn's architectural space and search for its significance. In addition, the study provides a greater comprehension of an the concept of Kahn's architecture by clarifying the degree of association of light into other concepts of architecture. Therefore, this study attempts to examine Louis I. Kahn's statement, sketch and work. His sketch along with the characteristics of the technique how to present it also enables comprehension of other aspects of architecture as a means to revive architecture. Khan's use of light enabled the evolution of primarily two types 'specular surface' and 'unique opening part' by associating them with the need to diminish glaringness. Each of these types has been evolved individually and is indicative of a concept of light that can be largely divided into ' object's light ' and ' space's light ' Object's light refers to a type in which the formative significance of structural part and different directions of light coexist, and its formative characteristics play a role that differentiate places within space. Space's light is present on wall spaces that limit space and exhibits its distinguished role differentiating places within space in the form of 'expression'.
