재택근무를 위한 주거공간 실태 및 의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Space Condition and Preference for Home-Office)

  • The need of Home-Office is increasing according to the technology and communication system being developed. It is necessary to develop space program and home furniture design for Home-Office. The purpose of this study was to investigate sjpace condition for Home-Office and Home-Office furniture, and to examine preference and opinion on Home-Office. The results this study can be summarized as follows: 1) An isolated space such as a study was the most preferred for Home-Office. The proper size of Home-Office space in residential interior was over 3.3m$\times$3m. 2) The system furniture which is enable to store OA system, and to have efficient work space was preferred. 3) The preferred color of system furniture was natural wood tone, and the most preferred color of chair was blue. 4) It was assumed that the possibility of Home-Office is increased in the new future.

High Resolution Optical Spectra of HBC 722

  • We present the results of high resolution (R>35,000) optical spectroscopic monitoring observations of a new FU Orionis-like young stellar object, HBC 722. We observed HBC 722 with the Bohyunsan Optical Echelle Spectrograph (BOES) and Hobby-Eberly Telescope (HET) since November 26, 2010. HBC 722 is the FU Orionis-like object best characterized for the pre-outburst phase, and it provides the first opportunity to profile the burst phase of accretion across all wavelengths. We detected a number of lines such as $H{\alpha}$, $H{\beta}$, Fe II ${\lambda}$ 5018, Mg I ${\lambda}$ 5183, Na I D doublets, and metallic photospheric lines. In this work, we focus on the time variations of those spectral lines to understand the accretion process of HBC 722.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a unit plan focusing on space zone for children, based on analysis of grown-up children's housing needs. Adult children means age of 20 to 30 that live with their parents in this study. According to survey, Most of adult children think they need space zone for their life and the most needed space was room for work, hobby or entertainment, and walk-in-closet in order. As a result of survey, we suggest a floor plan and 3 type plan of space zone for grown-up children.

  • This study is aimed to analyze the method of movement expression in the Space-Time of Modern Visual Art. According to the results of analysis. the following is obtained. (1) The still object is perceived by the sense or optical illusion, and its whole image is made through the information processing prodedure. The concept of Space-Time is integrated into the constructivist works by the composition of image through transforming the position of the fundamental geometry and projecting it. (2) The traditional notion that the work of art is still concept of is changed. The movement of observer is caused by inducing the direction and concept of time through the object in three dimensional space.

밀폐공간 질식재해 발생현황 고찰 및 예방에 관한 연구 (A Study on Asphyxiation Accidents occurred in the confined space, and their Prevention)

  • A confined space means places where the risk of damage to health caused by lack of oxygen or hazardous gases in inadequate ventilation conditions and the risk of fire and explosion caused by flammable substances. Asphyxiation accidents in a confined space occured every year and also occurred more than two people at the same time. In this study, we surveyed the domestic statistical data occurred the lack of oxygen in confined space for the last 10 years(2006-2015) and, analyzed the accident by industries sector, workplace size etc. 17 fatal work accidents that occurred in confined spaces in Korea between 2013 and 2015 were investigated and analyzed using the database of the KOSHA and suggested interventions to minimize asphyxiation accidents in confined spaces. This paper is expected to be used to establish interventions planning and training as a preventive measures in workplace having confined spaces.

  • The results analyzing the interior space of optician's store for application of VMD are as follows. The optician's stores tend to utilize their space not just for one function, but for multiple purposes. It is becoming bigger in size and is showing that it is spending more space for marketing purposes. In the future, optical store needs to provide convenience for the customers and as a Semi-Medical space, in order to receive trust, it needs to have Test-area, Work-area, improvement in environment, and of course, a comfortable space where the customers can sit back and relax. Taking a look at the features of design, the colors and the use of materials in domestic areas has been somewhat restricted. But international areas has been using diverse colors and materials for bright and comfortable atmosphere. Now, the optician's stores has to produce various atmosphere through different and brilliant colors and materials from other stores to be more efficient and to be highly competitive.

Design of top concrete slabs of composite space trusses

  • The design of composite space trusses is a demanding task that involves taking several decisions on the truss depth, number of panels, member configuration, number of chord layers and concrete slab thickness and grade. The focus in this paper is on the design of top concrete slabs of composite space trusses, and in particular their thickness. Several effects must be considered in the process of designing the slab before an optimum thickness can be chosen. These effects include the inplane forces arising from shear interaction with the steel sub-truss and the flexural. and sheer effects of direct lateral slab loading. They also include a constructional consideration that the thickness must allow for sufficient cover and adequate space for placing the reinforcement. The work presented in this paper shows that the structural requirements on the concrete slab thickness are in many cases insignificant compared with the constructional requirements.

Performance Isolation of Shared Space for Virtualized SSD based Storage Systems

  • In this paper, we propose a performance isolation of shared space for virtualized SSD based storage systems, to solve the weakness in a VSSD framework. The proposed scheme adopts a CFQ scheduler and a shared space-based FTL for the fairness and the performance isolation for multiple users on virtualized SSD based storage systems. Using the CFQ scheduler, we ensure SLOs for the storage systems such as a service time, a allocated space, and a IO latency for users on the virtualized storage systems. In addition, to improve a throughput and reduce a computational latency for garbage collection, a shared space-based FTL is adopted to maintain the information of SLOs for users and it manages shared spaces among the users. In our experiments, the proposal improved the throughput of garbage collection by 7.11%, on average, and reduced the computational latency for garbage collection by 9.63% on average, compared to the previous work.

THE RELATIONS BETWEEN NULL GEODESIC CURVES AND TIMELIKE RULED SURFACES IN DUAL LORENTZIAN SPACE 𝔻31

  • In this work, we study the conditions between null geodesic curves and timelike ruled surfaces in dual Lorentzian space. For this study, we establish a system of differential equations characterizing timelike ruled surfaces in dual Lorentzian space by using the invariant quantities of null geodesic curves on the given ruled surfaces. We obtain the solutions of these systems for special cases. Regarding to these special solutions, we give some results of the relations between null geodesic curves and timelike ruled surfaces in dual Lorentzian space.

2001: A Space Odyssey as a Work of Experimental Cinema: Focused on Its Convergence of Technical Innovations and Aesthetic Challenges

  • Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film titled 2001: A Space Odyssey has generally been considered as a monumental piece of mainstream epic science-fiction. However, this film can be evaluated as having properties of experimental cinema by boldly trying technical innovation and aesthetic experiment in various aspects. From the filmmaker's process to filmic structure, technical innovations, screening method, $mise-en-sc\grave{e}ne$, cinematic style and its (auto-)reflexivity, 2001: A Space Odyssey is highly experimental. We will attempt to separate out aspects of 2001: A Space Odyssey that derive explicitly from traditions in experimental cinema, whether adopting those traditions or innovating within them, by identifying the film's experimental strategies and relating them to other experimental films that came before and after. This will show that the purely formal characteristics of the film's conception carry meanings on their own relating to Kubrick's personal expression, ideas about cinema and philosophy that go beyond the scope of the film's narrative.
