교대 근무자의 연령에 따른 건강 문제, 감정적 위험요인 노출, 일-생활 불균형, 근로환경 만족도 특성 분석 (Analysis of Working Conditions of Shift Workers by Age: Health Problems, Emotional Hazard Exposures, Work & Life Imbalance, and Satisfaction of Working Conditions)

  • This study investigates the working conditions of shift workers according to age group by analyzing the sixth Korean Working Conditions Survey's data. A total of 1,323 shift workers were extracted from the dataset. Three age groups (A: 20s-30s, B: 40s-50s, C: 60s and above) were statistically compared in terms of health problems, emotional hazard exposure, work-life imbalance, and satisfaction with working conditions. Elderly shift workers (those in their 60s and above) had significantly more severe health problems and work-life imbalance, greater exposure to emotional hazards, and lower satisfaction with working conditions than young shift workers (those in their 20s-50s). The study's findings reveal the characteristics of working conditions for elderly shift workers and would be useful for improving shift workers' quality of life, as well as safety and productivity in the workplace.

의료기관 근무 간호조무사의 직무만족 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Job Satisfaction among Nursing Assistants Working in Medical Institutions)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influential factors on job satisfaction among nursingassistants working in medical institutions. Methods: Small and medium-sized hospitals and general hospitals (S City, U City, N City), 11 Geriatric hospitals(S City, N City, U City, T City, I City), and 29 clinics (S City, I City, N City). Data was collected from 194employed nursing assistants from February 15 to April 15, 2021. The obtained data were analyzed usingdescriptive statistics, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis. Results: We confirmed a positive correlation between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, andconducted a hierarchical multiple regression analysis using monthly income, work-life balance, organizational commitment, and work confidence as influencing factors for job satisfaction, and found that organizational commitment and work confidence were significant influencing factors for job satisfaction. Conclusion: To improve the job satisfaction of nursing assistants, it is necessary to improve their understanding of the organizational culture in the workplace and expand education and training opportunities to enhance their work confidence to induce long-term retention. In addition, it was suggested that clear job scope and adequatecompensation are necessary for efficient human resource management.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between family, work experiences and psychological well-being among employed wives. Data were collected from 258 full-time employed wives in dual-earner families. 63.6% of respondents were in their 30s and 36.4% in their 40s. Educational and income level was above average. Employed wives experienced higher levels of stress and satisfaction in parenting than in marital relationships and work. The findings of this study indicated that higher levels of marital stress and parenting stress were negatively related to work satisfaction for employed wives in dual-earner couples. Work stress had negative effects on parenting satisfaction. However, marital satisfaction was not influenced by parenting stress and work stress. The results of the regression analysis revealed that marital, work and parenting satisfaction were significant predictors of psychological well-being of employed wives. The size of effects were found to be greater for marital and work satisfaction than for parenting satisfaction.

기혼취업남녀의 일가족양립 인식도와 심리적 복지 (Married Employees' Work-Family Balance Perception and Psychological Well-Being)

  • This study was to determine general trends with respect to work-family balance perception and psychological wellbeing, examine correlations between related variables, investigate differences in related variables, and understand the effect of work-family balance perception on psychological well-being in married employees. The subjects were 300 married employees living in G city. The subjects completed a questionnaire and data were analyzed using IBM SPSS 21.0. The major findings were as follows. First, the average scores of men and women's self-esteem were higher than the median. Men had a more traditional gender role attitude and higher work-family balance perception level than women. The scores of men and women's depression were lower and life satisfaction were higher than the median. Second, the scores of men and women's work-family balance perception were different according to working hours. Men's psychological well-being were different according to the scale of work place and women's psychological well-being were different according to household working time. Third, depression in married employees were negatively related to life satisfaction. Their psychological well-being were significantly related to work-family balance perception. Fourth, men's depression were influenced by self-esteem, social care service, family${\rightarrow}$work conflict, and work${\rightarrow}$family conflict. Depression in women were influenced by health state, self-esteem, gender role attitude, family${\rightarrow}$work conflict, and work${\rightarrow}$family conflict. Men's life satisfaction were influenced by health state, economic state, and self-esteem. Women's life satisfaction were influenced by health state, economic state, weekly working hours, self-esteem, and work${\rightarrow}$family conflict.

Taking a Closer Look at Bus Driver Emotional Exhaustion and Well-Being: Evidence from Taiwanese Urban Bus Drivers

  • Background: Urban bus drivers work under conditions that are among the most demanding, stressful, and unhealthy with higher rates of mortality and morbidity as well as absenteeism and turnover. Methods: Drawing on the job demand-resource model, this study investigates the impacts of job characteristics on emotional exhaustion and the effects of emotional exhaustion on job outcomes (including job satisfaction, life satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention) in the context of bus drivers. Results: Using self-reported survey data collected from a sample of 320 Taiwanese urban bus drivers, results reveal that role overload and work-family conflict (as job demand factors) positively relate to emotional exhaustion, and organizational support (as a job resource factor) is negatively associated with emotional exhaustion. Emotional exhaustion has negative effects on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Job satisfaction positively leads to life satisfaction, whereas organizational commitment negatively relates to turnover intention. Conclusion: This study concludes that role overload and work-family conflict as two stressors related to job demands and organizational support as the job resource factor to affect emotional exhaustion which further influence well-being in bus driver context. The moderating effects of both extraversion and neuroticism on the relationship between job demands and emotional exhaustion are evident.

직장-가정간 갈등이 삶의 만족 및 직무 태도에 미치는 효과에 있어서의 성차: 우리나라 관리직 공무원들을 대상으로 (The Gender Differences in the Effects of Work-Family Conflict on the Life Satisfaction and Job Attitudes)

  • 본 연구에서는 5급 이상의 남녀 관리직 공무원들을 대상으로 직장-가정간 갈등(WFC)이 삶의 만족 및 직무 태도에 미치는 영향을 성 역할 관점에서 고찰하였다. 조사 대상자들의 인구통계변인의 효과를 제거한 후 직장-가정 갈등(WIF) 및 가정-직장 갈등(FIW)이 삶의 만족 및 직무 태도(직무 만족 및 직무 관여)에 미치는 영향을 위계적 회귀분석으로 조사하였다. 결과에 의하면, 남녀 집단 모두 WIF가 FIW보다 더 높은 수준을 보였고, 여성 집단은 남성 집단보다 유의하게 더 높은 FIW 수준을 보였다. 그리고 WFC(WIF 및 FIW) 수준이 삶의 만족 및 직무 태도에 미치는 효과에 있어 성차가 나타났다. 구체적으로 남성집단에서는 WFC 수준에 따른 삶의 만족 및 직무 관여 수준에서 차이가 크게 나타나지 않았지만, 여성집단에서 WFC 수준에 따라 삶의 만족 및 직무 관여에 큰 차이가 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 우리 나라 직장 여성들의 직장-가정간 균형을 위한 방안들에 논의하였고, 그리고 연구의 제한점 및 추후 연구 방향에 대해 제안하였다.

농촌가정생활의 질 진단을 위한 일 연구 (A study on the Measurement of the 『Quality of Life』 of Korean Farm household)

  • This study was carried out in an attempt to establish a preliminary scale for measuring $\boxDr$Quality of Life$\boxUl$ of Korean farm households, Data from randomly selected 318 farm households through our the country were analysis. The main results of this study were summarized as follows; 1) The objective levels of living conditions were relatively low in dietary life, healthy & sanitation, and financial stability and were relatively high in family relationship, household work and housing environment. 2) The subjective satisfaction level was lowest in leisure and were relatively high in family relationship and health & sanitation. 3) A comparison of objective level of living conditions and subjective satisfaction level suggested th score of the latter were higher than the former in dietary life and health & sanitation. In the contrary to this, the scores of the former were higher than the latter in housing environment, household work, child education, leisure and family relationship. In particular, the score of the subjective satisfaction level were much higher in housing environment and household work.

랜덤포레스트를 활용한 청년 삶의 만족도 영향 요인 탐색 (Exploring Factors Influencing Life Satisfaction of Youth using Random Forests)

  • 이 연구는 청년 삶의 만족도를 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 청년의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 탐색하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 '2021 청년 사회·경제 실태조사의 데이터를 활용하여, 2021년 기준 만 18세~34세 청년 2,041명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 청년 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 다양한 변수를 탐색하기 위해 랜덤 포레스트 방법을 적용하였다. 분석에 활용된 변수는 인구·사회학적 요인과 심리·정서를 포함하는 요인으로 총 21개이다. 랜덤 포레스트를 적용한 청년 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 탐색한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 분석에 투입된 요인 21개의 예측변수는 모두 청년 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 청년 삶이 만족도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 '직업가치관'으로 나타났다. 셋째, '정치적효능감', '기성세대인식'과 같이 청년들의 사회에 대한 인식도 청년들의 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 변수임을 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 청년 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 변수들을 설명하고 논의점을 제시하였다.

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to validated the effectiveness of the information gap in work and daliy life satisfaction. Additionally, this study attempted to verify the mediating effect of self-esteem. Methods : The study examined 327 students who participated in a study on the PSWCI 1st Wave by KCOMWEL. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics using the reliability test in SPSS 22.0 Ver. Moreover, hypothesis testing was analyzed with covariance based on structure equation modeling (CB-SEM) using Amos 21.0 Ver. Results : The low information gap has a positive effect on satisfaction with work and daily life. Additionally, self-esteem also has a positive effect on each satisfaction measure. However, self-esteem does not have a mediating effect between information gap and each satisfaction measure. Conclusions : The results of the study found the factor of effect on effect factor on beneficiary's satisfaction of industrial accident compensation insurance. Therefore, new ways need to be found that reduce the information gap and increase self-esteem.

창원시 베이비부머 세대의 직장만족과 삶의 질과의 관계 연구 -노후준비의 매개효과를 중심으로- (Work Satisfaction and Quality of Life in Baby Boomer : Focused on Retirement Preparation as Mediator Effect)

  • 본 연구에서는 직장생활을 하고 있는 베이비부머 세대의 삶의 질 정도와 노후준비를 살펴보고 직장생활, 노후준비, 삶의 질 간의 실증적인 관계를 파악하여 직장생활을 하는 베이비부머 세대의 삶의 질에 노후준비가 어떤 매개효과를 가지는 가에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구대상은 경상남도 창원시에서 직장생활을 하고 있는 베이비부머 세대(1955년-1963년) 204명을 대상으로 2012년 9월 22일~9월 30일의 기간 동안 설문지를 통해 면접 조사하였다. 중심 변수들 간의 연구모형을 SPSS 15.0을 이용하여 일반적인 특성과 영향력 검증을 한 후, Amos 7.0을 이용하여 구조방정식 모형을 통해 매개효과 검증을 하였다. 연구결과, 창원시에서 직장생활을 하고 있는 베이비부머 세대에 있어서 직장생활 즉 직무에 대한 만족도와 직장생활을 통한 사회적 교류 정도가 삶의 질에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이들의 노후에 대한 준비는 삶의 질에 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다.
