  • In discrete red and black, you can stake any amount s in your possession, but the value of s takes positive integer value. Suppose your goal is N and your current fortune is f, with 0$\frac{1}{2}$ where the house has the advantage over the player, and with the value of p greater than $\frac{1}{2}$ where the player has the advantage over the house. The optimum strategy at any f when p<$\frac{1}{2}$ is to play boldly, which is to bet as much as you can. The optimum strategy when p>$\frac{1}{2}$ is to bet 1 all the time.

  • After it first opened in 2001, Incheon International Airport (IIA) has grown into a world-class airport, leaving remarkable traces, such as being the first airport to win the ASQ Airport Serivce Price for 10 consecutive years. However, ever since its birth IIA has tried to position itself as the leading hub airport of Northeast Asia. Until this day, it has not been meeting this goal, with transfer passenger numbers and transfer rates decreasing recently. This study looks at the outer environment to discover which factors affect IIA's transfer market. Through extensive research on external analysis, the study will eventually provide a counter strategy guideline for fighting back against decreasing transfer usage.

Methods : Participants of this study are 115 students from K university in Busan, South Korea. Measurements are Adolescent/Adult Sensory Profile (AASP) for sensory processing patterns, the Study Process Questionnaire (SPQ) for learning styles, and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) for learning strategies. The data collected was analyzed by SPSS/WIN 20.0 for chisuare test and Pearson corelation coefficient. Results : For sensory processing patterns and learning styles, there were correlation between low registration type and surface type of learning (p=0.03), and between sensory seeking type and deep type of learning (p=0.02). For sensory processing patterns and learning strategies, sensory seeking type was correlated with organized learning strategy (p=0.00), and sensory sensitivity type was correlated with organizational learning strategy (p=0.03) and meta-cognitive learning strategy (p=0.00). Conclusion : This study found that there is correlation between sensory processing patterns, learning styles and learning strategies with implying learning styles and learning strategies can be different depends on sensory procession pattern. The results of this study can be used as a basic data to select learning type and learning strategy appropriate for an individual based on his or her sensory processing patterns.

  • Purpose - There is a recent social trend that is focused on the revitalization of business-founding. Business-founding now has an important impact on the progress of the national economy because of youth unemployment and an increase in baby-boom generation retirees. However, the support and infrastructure required for business-founding of the disabled are very insufficient. Since most supporting policies are on youth or middle-aged business-founding, business-founding by the disabled and the socially weak is losing competitiveness. Accordingly, this study diagnosed the issues by analyzing the current status of business-founding by the disabled and suggested a fostering direction for the advance of business-founding by the disabled. An idea for the founding of various business items is required for the competitiveness of business-founding by the disabled and the establishment of a growth-model based on marketing is required so that business-founding by the disabled would advance toward commercialization with growth potential. Research design, data, and methodology - Regarding the study method, the existing study literature on the status and issues in business-founding was mainly explored. In addition, the existing literature on the status and issues in business-founding by the disabled was also studied. The support on business-founding by the disabled by policy enforced by the 'Welfare Service Agency for the Disabled'and the support of related agencies including financial support on the commercialization of business-founding by the disabled were also examined. Results - Existing studies on business-founding by the disabled are very insufficient. It is very difficult to study a viable business-founding by the disabled fostering policy without thorough learning on the difficulties of business-founding by the disabled. Therefore, this study suggested a direction for the resolution of various issues such as market, funds, item, operational matters, and service by analyzing the difficulties in business-founding by the disabled until now. Particularly, this study suggested that building a commercialization model from the aspect of marketing strategy and the effort to change the growth aspect of the disabled into competitiveness are essential. Conclusions - This study examined the aspect of developing an item-development process for the growth and founding of disabled-owned businesses and the requirement of a government support system by multiple policies. Since the number of studies on business-founding by the disabled is very small, it is expected that this study would become an important study in the field of business-founding by the disabled. The revitalization of business-founding by the disabled substantially contributes to the progress of the state of the economy and continuous interest is required from the viewpoint of equal advance in the society. Success models in business-founding by the disabled should be created continuously and active publicizing of them to the disabled business-founders by analyzing the success cases would also be required. In addition, it is believed that a market entry strategy by way of a win-win strategy and cooperative relation with big companies should be also developed in the future.

  • This study was attempted to analyze the effect of a note-taking strategy applied to blended learning adult nursing education. Data were collected from September 17 to October 15, 2021, and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 26.0 program with a single group pre/post design targeting 33 nursing students. As a main result, learning motivation rose from 3.27 before class to 3.40 after class, but there was no significant difference(t=-1.501, p=.143), and class participation significantly increased from 2.95 before class to 3.27 after class(t=-2.669, p=.012). Motivation for learning before class was pre-class participation(r=.838, p<.001), learning motivation after class(r=.545, p=.001), and class participation after class(r=.462, p=.007) and each showed a significant positive correlation. Learning motivation and class participation according to gender(Wilks'𝛌=.866), class interest(Wilks'𝛌=.632), and class satisfaction(Wilks'𝛌=.822) were all higher than the significance level of .05, so they were no significant difference. Based on these results, applying a note-taking strategy to blended learning adult nursing education was effective in improving class participation. In a future study, it is necessary to verify the effectiveness by applying a note-taking strategy customized according to academic achievement.
