Types of Subjective Perceptions of Suicide among Young People in Their 20s and 30s

  • Purpose: This study aims to categorize the subjective perception of suicide of young social workers in their 20s and 30s, and to explore the factors constituting each type, and used the Q methodology. Research design, Research method: As a research method, the Q population was derived through in-depth interviews and literature research, and the final 23 Q statements were confirmed. Next, 30 social workers in their 20s and 30s were classified by normal distribution on a 7-point scale as a P sample. The collected data were analyzed using the QUANL-PC program. Result: As a result of the analysis, four types were extracted, and there were no affirmative statements commonly cited in all types, and the opposite statement is 'if someone wants to commit suicide, it is the person's job and should not interfere'. Types 4 named suicide as 'unacceptable social problem', 'signal of a request for help, relief of severe pain, and 'impulsive mistake', respectively. Conclusion: Based on this result, the elements constituting the perception of each type were analyzed, and the need for access strategies for each type of suicide prevention education and campaign, and follow-up research were suggested.

청소년의 학업스트레스가 자살충동에 미치는 인과관계의 성별 차이검증 (The Test of Gender Difference on the Causal Relationships between Adolescent's Academic Stress and Suicidal Thoughts)

  • 이 연구는 청소년의 학업스트레스가 자살충동에 이르는 인과경로에 있어서 인과관계가 성(gender)에 따라 차이가 있는지를 검증해 봄으로써 시사점을 도출해 보는데 연구목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 표본을 추출하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 연구의 분석결과, 청소년의 학업스트레스는 우울감을 통하여 자살충동에 직 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 학업스트레스와 우울감 사이의 인과관계와 우울감과 자살충동 사이의 인과관계에서 성별 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 시사점을 도출하였다.

사회복지사의 개인-조직간 적합성(P-O Fit)이 서비스만족에 미치는 영향의 업무분야 간 차이검증 (The Difference Test among Job Types in the Impact of Social Welfare Worker's Person-Organization Fit on Service Satisfaction)

  • 이 연구는 사회복지사의 개인-조직간 적합성에 대한 관점들을 정리해 보고 통합적 관점에서 개인-조직간 적합성이 직무태도를 통하여 클라이언트 서비스 만족에 미치는 인과경로를 실증적으로 검증해 보았으며, 이 과정에서 업무유형에 따라 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 사회복지사들을 대상으로 표본추출하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 이 연구에서는 사회복지사의 개인-조직 간 적합성 가운데 관계적합성과 직무적합성이 조직몰입에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직몰입은 클라이언트 서비스 만족에 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 정책적 시사점을 도출하였다.

The Effects of Cultural Capital and Social Welfare Expenditure on the Elder's Subjective Happiness

  • The purpose of this study is to introduce policy and theoretical implications by analyzing affecting factors for the elder's happiness. For this study, we analyzed data using HLM. Data include a world value survey(hereafter, WVS) as personal level analysis data and also OECD's Social Expenditure Database(hereafter, SOCX) and database from the World Bank as national level analysis data. The subjects of personal level analysis were the elder who are over 65-years od age, and they were total 3,297 people, and while the subjects of national level analysis were total 9 OECD countries. For the data analysis, hierarchial linear model(HLM) analysis was done by using HML 7.0 program. As a result of analysis, First, for the elderly's happiness, they should improve self-disposition, members of social groups, and social class. Second, the old-age pension and the survivor's pension had no meaningful effect on the happiness. but it was found that self - disposition, social class, gender, and health status showed meaningful interaction effect according to old - age pension, survivor pension, per capita GDP, income inequality. This suggests that efforts to improve the happiness of the elderly should be made at the individual level and the national level at the same time.

The Effect of Social Welfare Official's Perceived Professionalism on Job Attitude

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest the effective methods for human resource management of social welfare officials through empirical analysis on the relationship between professionalism and job attitude. This study came from the academic background that there have been few previous studies about social welfare officials' professionalism so far. To achieve this purpose, it empirically analyzed professionalism and job attitude through survey to social welfare officials. And as a result, it showed that the elements of professionalism have a significant effect on the variables of job attitude, such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job commitment. Based on this result, it suggested theoretical and political implication that can improve the level of professionalism and job attitude of social welfare officials.

직무 및 조직특성이 사회복지사의 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Job Characteristics and Organizational Characteristics on Social Welfare Worker's Turnover Intention)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지사들의 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 구조방정식모형(AMOS 16.0)을 통해 사회복지사의 이직의도에 미치는 영향요인에 대한 인과관계를 설정하여 직무특성과 조직특성이 이직의도에 직접적인 영향이 미치는지 또는 조직몰입을 매개로 하여 간접적으로 영향이 미치는지 살펴보았다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 수도권을 포함한 시 도에서 민간 사회복지 관련 기관에 근무하는 사회복지사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 배포된 설문지 총 297부 중 이직의도가 확인된 설문지 256부를 최종 분석하였다. 분석결과 직무특성인 직무자율성과 조직특성인 승진절차공정성은 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 직무요구성과 직무불안정, 임금수준은 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직몰입은 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 사회복지사들의 이직의도를 낮추기 위해서는 임파워먼트와 사회복지업무의 시스템화, 인적관리의 체계화, 의사소통의 활성화가 고려되어야 함을 알 수 있다.

Comparing the efficiency of college and university employment using DEA analysis program

  • This study analyzed the employment efficiency of Korean colleges and universities using DEA(2015 GOMS), which was surveyed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Information Service. The input variables were employment program participants, language educators, family economic applicants, and employment targets. As a result, the college was more efficient than the college and the college was relatively ineffective. The contribution of input and output contributed the highest efficiency with 99.9% of the participants in the employment program, and the possibility of improving the efficiency of the language educator was the highest at 70.04. Based on the results of the above research, it suggests the necessity of activation of employment programs and activation of language training in each university. Future studies will need to study the efficiency of universities nationwide.

Study on the Relationship between Adolescents' Self-esteem and their Sociality -Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Gender -

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient dynamic workload balancing strategy which improves the performance of high-performance computing system. The key idea of this dynamic workload balancing strategy is to minimize execution time of each job and to maximize the system throughput by effectively using system resource such as CPU, memory. Also, this strategy dynamically allocates job by considering demanded memory size of executing job and workload status of each node. If an overload node occurs due to allocated job, the proposed scheme migrates job, executing in overload nodes, to another free nodes and reduces the waiting time and execution time of job by balancing workload of each node. Through simulation, we show that the proposed dynamic workload balancing strategy based on CPU, memory improves the performance of high-performance computing system compared to previous strategies.

The Mediating Effects of Self-Control and Impulsiveness On Self-Esteem and Smart Phone Addition In College Students

  • This study aimed to analyse the effects of self-control and impulsiveness of college students on smart phone addition and whether self-esteem has mediating effects on them. For the purposes, this study interviewed 4-year college students in Gwangju City with the use of a questionnaire and 314 copies of the responses were used for a final analysis. The data collected was analysed with the use of SPSS 22.0 and the results are presented as follows: First, behavior impulsiveness has a positive effect on self-esteem and smart phone addiction. Second, self-esteem had a positive effect on smart phone addiction. Third, it was discovered that behavior impulsiveness had a positive effect on smart phone addiction through an analysis of mediating effects while self-esteem had an indirect effect on it. Therefore, it was suggested that more care should be paid on smart phone addiction and development of programs against it should be facilitated.
