  • In this paper, we propose a user-dependent mid-point navigation system using a time weighted mid-point navigation algorithm and a user preference based mid-point neighborhood recommendation system. The proposed system consists of a mid-point navigation module for calculating an mid-point by applying a time weight of each user based on a departure point between users, and a search module for providing a search for a route to the calculated mid-point. In addition, based on the mid-point search result, it is possible to increase the utilization rate of users by including a place recommending function based on user's preference. Experimental results show that the proposed system can increase the efficiency of using by the user-dependent mid-point navigation and place recommendation function.

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss how to improve the maneuverability of lifting and diving for underwater vehicle's vertical motion. Therefore, to solve these problems, applied the 3-D numerical simulation, Taguchi's Design of Experiment (DOE), and intelligent parameter design methods, etc. We planned four steps as follows: firstly, we applied the 2-D flow simulation with NACA series, and then through the Taguchi's dynamic method to analyze the sensitivity (β). Secondly, take the data of pitching torque and total resistance from the Taguchi orthogonal array (L9), the ignal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and analysis each factorial contribution by ANOVA. Thirdly, used Radial Basis Function Network (RBFN) method to train the non-linear meta-modeling and found out the best factorial combination by Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Weighted Percentage Reduction of Quality Loss (WPRQL). Finally, the application of the above methods gives the global optimum for multi-quality characteristics and the robust design configuration, including L/D is 9.4:1, the foreplane on the hull (Bow-2), and position of the sail is 0.25 Ls from the bow. The result shows that the total quality is improved by 86.03% in comparison with the original design.

  • In response to problems such as insufficient extraction information, low detection accuracy, and frequent misdetection in the field of Thangka image defects, this paper proposes a YOLOv5 prediction algorithm fused with the attention mechanism. Firstly, the Backbone network is used for feature extraction, and the attention mechanism is fused to represent different features, so that the network can fully extract the texture and semantic features of the defect area. The extracted features are then weighted and fused, so as to reduce the loss of information. Next, the weighted fused features are transferred to the Neck network, the semantic features and texture features of different layers are fused by FPN, and the defect target is located more accurately by PAN. In the detection network, the CIOU loss function is used to replace the GIOU loss function to locate the image defect area quickly and accurately, generate the bounding box, and predict the defect category. The results show that compared with the original network, YOLOv5-SE and YOLOv5-CBAM achieve an improvement of 8.95% and 12.87% in detection accuracy respectively. The improved networks can identify the location and category of defects more accurately, and greatly improve the accuracy of defect detection of Thangka images.

  • A weighted linear combination of seismic fragility models previously developed for cut-and-cover railway tunnels was presented and the appropriateness of the combined model was evaluated. The seismic fragility function is expressed in the form of a cumulative probability function of the lognormal distribution based on the peak ground acceleration. The model uncertainty can be reduced by combining models independently developed. Equal weight is applied to four models. The new seismic fragility function was developed for each damage level by determining the median and standard deviation, which are model metrics. Comparing fragility curves developed for other bored tunnels, cut-and-cover tunnels for high-speed railway system have a similar level of fragility. We postulated that this is due to the high seismic design standard for high-speed railway tunnel.

  • We developed a surface acoustic wave (SAW) computer aided design (CAD) for mobile communication using Kaier window function. The systems are composed of modules for designing apodization weighted IDT-uniform IDT, withdrawal weighted IDT-withdrawal weighted IDT, and resonator type. The design of SAW bandpass with center frequencies from 222MHz to 343MHz were simulated by the developed CAD system. Although the method proposed in this paper is formulated primarily for SAW filters, it is equally applicable to finite impulse response (FIR) digital filter design.

  • In this paper, we propose weighted detection probability with distance between primary user and secondary users by using cooperative spectrum sensing based on energy detection. And we analysis and simulate the result. We suggest different distance between primary user and secondary users and the wireless channel between primary user and secondary users is modeled as Gaussian channel. From the simulation results of the cooperative spectrum sensing with weighted method make coverage bigger compared with non-weight, and We show higher sensing efficiency when we put weight detection probability than before method.

  • In this study, a modified Fuzzy C-Means algorithm with Gaussian weights (MFCM_GW) is presented for the problem of nonlinear blind channel equalization. The proposed algorithm searches for the optimal channel output states of a nonlinear channel based on received symbols. In contrast to conventional Euclidean distance in Fuzzy C-Means (FCM), the use of the Bayesian likelihood fitness function and the Gaussian weighted partition matrix is exploited in this method. In the search procedure, all possible sets of desired channel states are constructed by considering the combinations of estimated channel output states. The set of desired states characterized by the maxima] value of the Bayesian fitness is selected and updated by using the Gaussian weights. After this procedure, the Bayesian equalizer with the final desired states is implemented to reconstruct transmitted symbols. The performance of the proposed method is compared with those of a simplex genetic algorithm (GA), a hybrid genetic algorithm (GA merged with simulated annealing (SA):GASA), and a previously developed version of MFCM. In particular, a relative]y high accuracy and a fast search speed have been observed.

  • Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a common type of chronic liver disease, with severity levels ranging from nonalcoholic fatty liver to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The extent of liver fibrosis indicates the severity of NASH and the risk of liver cancer. However, the mechanism underlying NASH development, which is important for early screening and intervention, remains unclear. Weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) is a useful method for identifying hub genes and screening specific targets for diseases. In this study, we utilized an mRNA dataset of the liver tissues of patients with NASH and conducted WGCNA for various stages of liver fibrosis. Subsequently, we employed two additional mRNA datasets for validation purposes. Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) was conducted to analyze gene function enrichment. Through WGCNA and subsequent analyses, complemented by validation using two additional datasets, we identified five genes (BICC1, C7, EFEMP1, LUM, and STMN2) as hub genes. GSEA analysis indicated that gene sets associated with liver metabolism and cholesterol homeostasis were uniformly downregulated. BICC1, C7, EFEMP1, LUM, and STMN2 were identified as hub genes of NASH, and were all related to liver metabolism, NAFLD, NASH, and related diseases. These hub genes might serve as potential targets for the early screening and treatment of NASH.

  • This paper presents a frequency transfer function synthesis for simplifying a high-order model with time delay to a low-order model. A model reduction is based on minimizing the error function weighted by the numerator polynomial of reduced systems. The proposed method provides better low frequency fit and a computer aided algorithm. And in this paper, we present a design method of PID controller for achieving the desired specifications via the reduced model. The proposed method identifies the parameter vector of PID controller from a linear system that develops from rearranging the two dimensional input matrices and output vectors obtained from the frequency bounds.

  • Motivated by the recent work of Cordeiro and Castro (2011), we study the Kumaraswamy exponentiated Frechet distribution (KEF). We derive some mathematical properties of the (KEF) including moment generating function, moments, quantile function and incomplete moment. We provide explicit expressions for the density function of the order statistics and their moments. In addition, the method of maximum likelihood and least squares and weighted least squares estimators are discuss for estimating the model parameters. A real data set is used to illustrate the importance and flexibility of the new distribution.
