  • To analyze building energy consumption, the building description for building energy performance analysis (BEPA) is required. The required data input for subject building is a basic step in the BEPA process. Since building information modeling (BIM) is applied in the construction industry, the required data for BEPA can be gathered from a single international standard file format like IFCXML. However, in most BEPA processes, since the required data cannot be fully used from the IFCXML file, a building description for BEPA must be created again. This paper proposes IFCXML-based automatic data input approach for BEA. After the required data for BEPA has been defined, automatic data input for BEPA is developed by a prototype system. To evaluate the proposed system, a common BIM file from the BuildingSMART website is applied as a sample model. This system can increase the efficiency and reliability of the BEPA process, since the data input is automatically and efficiently improved by directly using the IFCXML file..

The current study aimed to discover if the online travel chat service quality and information value of the online travel chat service lead to user satisfaction with the service and visit intention to a recommended destination by Korea Tourism Organization's 1330 Live Chat. The results indicate that information value (functional and innovation) and online travel chat service quality (reliability, assurance, and security) lead to satisfaction with the live chat service and visit intention to a recommended destination. The results can benefit practitioners who want to expand and improve their customer service interaction and recommendations, and to scholars who study the relationship between customer services in tourism recommendation and sales context.

Three types of fashion advertisement were included as banner type, website type, and e-mail type. For each type, two samples were included for the study. Questionnaire was developed with the html language and data collection was done through the internet on October 2000. For data analysis, descriptive statistics(i. e., frequency, percent), factor analysis, reliability analysis, linear regression and ANOVA were used. First, fashion lifestyle was classified with the seven dimensions: personality seeking group, planning purchase group, fashion leader group, fashion information seeking group, media preference group, commonness/traditional group, fashion follower group. • Due to the car's central role in modern life, the industry has become more fiercely competitive, with each manufacturer doing everything it can to attract buyers with features like plush interiors, comprehensive warranties, and helpful customer service departments. Customers may not have the luxury of buying a new car, so they will have to buy a used car. Nevertheless, in most cases, the customer (car driver) may be deceived about the vehicle information and history and thus will be confused in making his/her decision to purchase. In addition, after all attempts to obtain vehicle information (plate number, model, year of manufacture, number of maintenance times, accidents, etc.), the customer's many attempts may fail. In general, the government records and verifies the information of all cars, even those that pass through their borders. However, there might still be some trouble in obtaining this information. From this standpoint, we will design a website that makes it easier for car drivers, car companies and governments to carry out all the above-mentioned processes. It will also allow users, whether a driver or a car company, to inquire about all vehicle information through detailed and integrated reports on its condition since its entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until the present time, in addition to information supported by numbers and statistics to ensure the integrity and reliability of the information. This platform will save the trouble of searching for car information for drivers and car companies. It will also help governments keep track of the information of all cars entering and leaving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will contribute to facilitating the process of viewing the history of any car that has previously entered the Kingdom's borders.

  • Because the increased number of Internet users and the common use of IT technology via the expansion of domestic IT infrastructure have increased the web site use of companies, Internet users have begun to experience a range of online websites. In a digital environment, entrepreneurial companies who have limited resources will require effective management by analyzing the critical factors of the website quality assessment and focusing their resources to seize the market because the website quality built in the company directly affects the satisfaction and purchase activity of the customers. In this study, a total of 523 surveys from the customers visiting online websites of the entrepreneurial companies were collected to analyze the factors between the influencing factors and satisfaction and purchase intention using the ServQual method in the AMOS 18.0 program. This analysis showed that the customers visiting the website are satisfied with the factors of tangibility, reliability and responsiveness of visited websites, and the factor of community, which indicates that the level of customer activity in the web sites is related significantly to the customers' purchase intentions.

  • Archives provide users with easier and more convenient access to and use of archival data through their Internet websites. Now, archival websites function not only as a tool of information provision or marketing, or as a gateway of Internet-based materials, but also as cyber space for all services of archives, providing users with information and knowledge and direct accessibility to the services in the archives. At present, Korean archives are proceeding with establishing websites or upgrading existing websites, and the use rates and reliability of web services by users are becoming higher. However, although there have been various studies for the evaluation of general websites, few are found with regard to the evaluation of archival websites. It is necessary for archival websites that provide information service to users of every stripe to make more efforts and have more interest in user-centered convenience, right to know, and information provision-centered service. Accordingly, needless to say, it is necessary to study evaluation criteria of websites so that high quality archival websites can be established. With this background, this study establishes evaluation criteria for archival websites, which are appropriate to their objectives and functions and directly evaluates archives, presenting ways to establish and redevelop archival websites. More detailed purposes are as follows: First, analyzes existing theories of evaluation through reviews on previous literature and elicits evaluation criteria for websites, which are appropriate to archives; Second, based on the elicited evaluation criteria for archival websites, examines the current state of domestic archival websites through analytic evaluation; and Third, presents ways to improve archival websites that may be helpful in establishing or improving them in the future. The expectancy effects of this study are as follows: First, it will be helpful when one wishes to identify the current state of archival websites and to improve or redevelop existing websites, or to develop online service through website; Second, it will function as a checklist when a developer who is to establish an archival website wishes to develop evaluation criteria; and Third, it may be used as an inspection tool when an archives contracts out the establishment of its website.
