The purpose of this study was to identify the analysis of children's wearing need towards hues and tones of T-shirts based on gender. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The 15 color pictures and 5-point scales were used for evaluation of wearing need. Data were obtained from 150 boys and 150 girls living in Seoul, Busan, Jinju, and Changwon on May and June 2010. For data analysis, ANOVA and Duncan-test were used by using SPSS program. Results of this study were as follows.; Hues and tones showed an independent effect on children's wearing need. Interaction effects of children's gender and tones on children's wearing need were found. Interaction effects of hues and tones on children's wearing need were found. Also, interaction effects of gender, hues, and tones on children's wearing need were found. These results suggested that children's wearing need can be affected by their gender, hues, and tones.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of HPAFO(Hinged Plastic Ankle Foot orthosis) and SPAFO(Solid Plastic Ankle Foot Orthosis) on standing balance and step moving in hemiplegia patients. Twenty hemiplegic patients were either inpatient or outpatient at the Rehabilitation medicine, MokPo J General Hospital and JeonJu J Medical Center from July 15, 2002 to September 15, 2002. Patients were able to ambulate independently for at least 10 meters and to stand independently for at least 10 minutes with balance measurement tool. The static balance and dynamic activity measurement was determined by SAKAI active balancer(Japan) with wearing HPAFO and wearing SPAFO. The static balance and dynamic activity analysis was analyzed by independent t-test. The results were as follows: 1. There were no significant difference in body weight bearing percent between wearing HPAFO and wearing SPAFO(p>0.05). 2. There were significant difference in whole path length between wearing HPAFO and wearing SPAFO(p<0.05). 3. There were significant difference in Effective Value Area between wearing HPAFO and wearing SPAFO(p>0.001). 4. There were significant difference in repeated functional time between wearing HPAFO and wearing SPAFO(p>0.001). 5. There were significant difference in cadence between wearing HPAFO and wearing SPAFO(p>0.001). The result of this study showed that wearing HPAFO and wearing SPAFO gave fair amount of improvement to static standing balance and dynamic movement ability of hemiplegic patients. The comparison result showed significant differences in between HPAFO and SPAHFO. The result of this study had a general limitation due to the restricted number of cases. The future study needs more detailed research and comparison with various variance between these two orthoses.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of wearing lab coats on science-related attitudes of elementary school students in science learning. In addition, we analyzed the effects of wearing lab coats on perceptions of the authenticity of school science activities and the necessity of wearing lab coats. Samples of the study were composed of 4 classes of 92 fifth graders in Seoul, Korea. Unit of 'Temperature and Heat' was selected as a object of the research. The major results of the study are as follows. First, for the independent t-test of science-related attitudes, a statistically significant difference between the experimental group and the comparative group was found. Second, 9 students (9.78%) were more than 1SD above the average of the difference between the results of pre and post. Seven of them were experimental group students and two were comparative group students. Third, there was a statistically significant difference between the comparison group and the experimental group as a result of the perception test of the similarity of the scientific activity of the elementary school students and the scientific activity of the scientists. Fourth, there was no statistically significant difference between the comparison group and the experimental group as a result of the perception test of the necessity of wearing a lab coat. Based on these findings of this study, implications for science education research and teaching and learning at school are discussed.

This paper is about the copper slider with high electric conductivity and resistance arc. A new copper slider which has enhanced resistance against frictional wear was developed. By alteration of its material components and manufacturing process, its material property has been enhanced. To verify its enhanced wear-resisting capacity, a laboratory test and a field test were carried out. As the laboratory test, a dynamo test was performed and its test result showed that the developed new copper slider had superior wear-resisting capacity to the currently used copper slider. The new one showed double durability of the current one and normal wearing characteristics. A filed test was performed on the Metro subway lines at service by Seoul Metro. The field test showed similar results to those from the laboratory test, which the d eveloped new copper slider has double superior durability and sound wearing patterns. Authors strongly believe that the replacement of the copper slider currently in use by the developed new one will contribute to the economic and efficient operation of the subway line system

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of conspicuous consumption on wearing attitude of jeans and analyze the difference of purchasing behavior in jeans by gender. Questionnaires were administered to 386 college students living in Deagu and Busan province. Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, t-test, and $X^2$-test were used for data analysis. Conspicuous consumption were categorized into 5 factors such as famous brand preference, brand conspicuous, fashion pursuit, symbol of social position, and imported goods pursuit. Wearing attitude of jeans was categorized into fashion information leadership, fashion innovation, and pursuit of economic. The result of this study showed brand conspicuous, fashion pursuit, symbol of social position, and imported goods pursuit had significant effect of fashion information leadership and brand conspicuous, fashion pursuit, and imported goods pursuit had significant effect of fashion innovation. Brand conspicuous, and symbol of social position had significant effect of pursuit of economic. The indicates that men showed high brand conspicuous of conspicuous consumption and fashion innovation of wearing attitude of jeans. Gender of college students showed significant differences in purchasing place, purchasing price.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the wearing satisfaction of highschool girls’summer uniforms, and to evaluate the comfort-related properties of fabrics used in the uniforms. The subjects were 441 female high school students attending three different schools in Chongju city. The data was collected using self-administered questionnaires to measure the wearing satisfaction of summer school uniforms. Factor analysis, t-test, and F-test were used for data analysis. The heat and moisture transfer properties and air permeable properties of their fabrics were evaluated to measure as comfort-related properties. 1. Most students were wearing blouses made of polyester/rayon blended fabrics and skirts made of 50% wool and 50% polyester blended fabrics. 2. Clothing care and management, and appearance of summer school uniform were assessed positively, while style and design, and the level of comfort were assessed negatively. 3. The subfactors of wearing satisfaction varied according to school, style and design, and fabrics of high school girls’summer uniforms. 4. PET fabrics were rated as having a lower value of thermal retention and a higher value of air permeability than other blouse fabrics. 5. There were not differences significantly in thermal properties according to skirt materials.
This study compares the interrelation of fit factor(FF) and visual acuity test by the order of wearing preference between Particulate filtering face piece respirators(PFFR) and glasses for 54 participants. Glasses fitting factors is Optical Center Height(OH), Vertex Distance(VD) and Pantoscopic Angle(PA) or Visual acuity. We measured those factors and expressed by the ratio of standard point and change point. Quantitative fit factor was measured by Portacount Pro+ 8038 and compared the result of preference of wearing order between respirators and glasses. Also, we selected to 6 exercises among 8 exercises OSHA QNFT (Quantitative Fit testing) protocol to measure the fit factors. The pass/ fail criterion of FF was set at 100. Visual acuity test chart is developed by Chunsuk Han was used, Descriptive statistics was performed. Descriptive statistics(SAS ver 9.2), it is used geometric means, Wilcoxon analysis, peason correlation(P=0.05) Fit factor was increased when the respirator was worn before wearing the glasses(p=0.000) and decreased for visual acuity(p=0.000) The negative correlation was showed between OH and Overall fit factor(r=-0.409, p=0.002). Among 54 participants, 11 participants(20.3%) were worn respirator before wearing glasses and 1 participant(1.9%) was worn glasses before wearing respirator. The overall fit test showed the higher level was investigated for the group of participants wearing respirator before wearing glasses in 6 exercises. Also, overall fit factor were increased when participants wore glasses prior to respirator(16.6) to respirator prior to glasses(36.6). Visual acuity were increased when participants wore respirator prior to glasses(93.8) to glasses prior to respirator(106.0). Finally, comparison result of overall fit factor and visual acuity were glasses first choice from mask first choice. The results showed that higher overall fit factor was investigate when the participants wore the respirator prior to glassess at all. The results implied that it is important to maintain the overall fit factor and visual acuity according to the consideration of OH for glasses fitting when worker wore respirator and glasses at the same time.

This study is aimed to research the trend of studies on the evaluation of clothing fit using the domestic research journals. clothing fit has long been regarded as the most important element to customers in clothing appearance. Understanding fit from a consumer's perspective is complex. 85 articles were collected from domestic academic sites (KISS, DBpia, KiSTi). Many clothing fit articles published on the 2011-2016 year. In research target, young women were more than other age groups. On the evaluation of clothing fit, method of clothing fit classified survey using the questionnaire and wearing test. Many articles were used the survey using the questionnaire, 57.7%. The other articles were used wearing test with professional analyst and objective evaluation tool. Objective evaluation was used 3D virtual wearing systems (i-designer, DC suit, CLO et al). In the survey using the questionnaire and wearing test using the objective evaluation, jacket and pants were researched on the clothing items mainly. Many young women put on the jacket and pants to active energetically. In the future, researches related clothing fit need to develop the objective and accuracy evaluation tool of clothing fit.
The study investigates the clothes-wearing behaviors of female college students based on differences in indoor heating systems and cold sensitivity. The respondents included a total of 281 female college students living in South Korea and China. Data were analyzed through an ANOVA and, a paired t-test based on SPSS 21.0. Korean students were less dependent on winter clothing than Chinese students for the whole body parts except for the trunk. Korean students were more likely to feel coldness more but wore less clothing. Korean students' clothes-wearing behaviors with respect to coldness depended on the indoor heating system. Korean students tended to buy warmer clothing, although they preferred not to wear undergarments and tended to wear and to wear less winter clothing. Chinese students showed more active clothes-wearing behaviors to keep their feet warm. Finally, groups divided by indoor heating systems and cold sensitivity showed different clothes-wearing behaviors in comparison to those groups based only on indoor heating systems. Even in similar weather conditions, clothes-wearing behaviors for cold adaptation depended on the indoor heating systems and cold sensitivity. The results suggest that this perspective should be taken into consideration when evaluating clothes-wearing behaviors of certain groups or individuals.
Pantograph of the electric train is the important part receiving current by adhereing contact wire. Wearing rate of pantograph or contact wire is changed by the type of pantograph and material of adhering part. In special, the weather influences the relative wearing rate and wearing type of pantograph Slider and Contact wire with steep wearing in arc and life cycle of pantograph slider. Presently, the weather causes side-wearing and over-wearing of pantograph slide installed in electric train. So it is difficult to manage and operate the electric train. Although the quality of slide using in line4 vehicle was finished the test in line 2 vehicle experimentally, it has to apply after pantograph is installed in some electric trains and check the influence in it and contact wire. It is because line4 section is very different from line2 section. Experimental application is the sequence to certify the safety and abrasion resistance importantly by enlarging experimental application with increase of the experimental electric train. The lenth of line4 in Seoul Metro is 71.5[km]. It is long section. The line is mixed DC 1,500[V] section and AC 25,000[V] section. It has underground section of 41.5[km] and ground section of 30[km]. Ground section is about 42% and receives much influence in the rain during the rainy season. After experimental application we found that this pantograph slide has twice as much abrasion resistance despite a little deviation and found the occurrence probability of arc and side-wearing is decreased considerably.
