Early, national basic topographical map has been represented, stored, supplied in form of DXF(Data eXchange Format) and present digital map is equipped as over form. Since many parts of digital map has been equipped newly to use early digital map form for geographic information system. Especially, many structural editing and geographical search are demanded to exclude geometric inconsistency and logical inconsistency included in the existing digital map. As above, DXF is unsuitable data format to use in geographic information system. For the sake of efficient format, Digital Map Ver. 2.0 that is new map format was developed. In this study, we developed the Mobile Viewer program development which can let us see immediately the digital maps produced in the form of Digital Map Ver. 2.0.
This study offers the possibility as a new product of souvenirs from cultural tourist sites with virtual reality contents, instead of a simple exhibit. Users can watch augmented reality contents on souvenirs, and use the virtual experience service of cultural tourist sites with VR viewer. It has 4K-class high-quality $360^{\circ}$ image capture to increase the immersion of users in virtual space, implement virtual reality space and intuitive UI interaction with users using IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit). It is also possible to apply various add-on functions, including 3D contents, through technical development to increase its marketability, and apply in other industries. In addition, the prototype of the souvenir and VR viewer will be made by using a 3D printer and such in order to apply the contents which will be introduced in this study. Various product expansions can be considered through consultation with the relevant companies for the use of ready-made products.

The Growth in wireless Internet has made Networking possible at anytime and anywhere. So mobile devices like cellular phone and PDA are now used in various fields. In particular, the mobility of mobile devices has a great advantage in remote control. This paper designed and implemented a Mobile VNC system that transmitted the screen image of a remote computer, control the remote computer GU and monitor all by cellular phone. The proposed system consists of a Mobile Viewer un on the cellular phone, VNC Server m on a number of remote computers and a VNC Monitor. For communication between the VNC Server and the Mobile Viewer the MRFB protocol is used. The screen image transmitted to the Mobile Viewer is encoded in the PNG format supported by SK-VM, the Java execution environment of the Cellular phone. According to implementation results, the image is about $2KB\~8KB$. According to the 65 times transmission test, the average frame per second is 4.93fps in the emulator and a real cellular phone takes 0.8fps. Therefore, the proposed system is more efficient than existing systems.
Although the increase in number of the programs provides rich entertainment to viewers, it also has caused a negative of making it hard for viewers to find out their favorite programs. To address the problem, several researches have been performed mainly focusing on the technologies to analyze a viewer's TV watching-patterns and to recommend a program (or a channel) based on the analysis when a viewer changes channels. The researches, however, have the trouble of frequently failing to choose proper programs because, in the real-world broadcasting circumstance, the programs are re-broadcast over a number of the channels and a set of programs of a genre are usually playing in the overlapped times. To avoid the trouble, the data service, proposed in the paper, allows a viewer to book "explicitly" his/her favorite programs and provides a set of functions of listing up the booked program's broadcasting schedules and reserving viewing or recording the booked programs.

VNC(Virtual Network Computing) is a desktop sharing system based on the RFB(Remote Framebuffer) protocol which allows you to control a remote computer running a VNC server through a VNC client(or viewer) on a local computer. To exchange information between the two computers, VNC provides the functionality of sharing the clipboard contents. Unfortunately, the current VNC softwares support only the clipboard text contents, not providing methods for sharing the clipboard multimedia contents such as images. In this paper, we extend the RFB protocol to share the clipboard contents composed of text and images. Also, to support the developed protocol. we extend both the UltraVNC server and the JavaViewer VNC client which are free open-source softwares. Through the developed VNC softwares, users can exchange the clipboard contents including texts and images between the remote computer and the local computer.

IFC converters and viewers, applicable in the construction field, are being actively developed while, in the civil engineering field, IFC schemata are being developed. To prove the IFC schema grammatically, the existing ISO 10303 30s' pre-processors and post-processors may be used. However, to visually prove the IFC model, the existing commercial 3D modeling software should be converted into the IFC schema of civil engineering field, and a viewer is needed to view it. Thus, this study developed a IFC converter and viewer prototype system to apply BIM in the road field. To express the road line, LandXML was analyzed, and IFC suitable for expressing shapes in the road field was designed. Also, an IFC suitable for bridges with focus on representative bridge structures such as abuts, piers and decks was designed. Further, a converter was developed using AutoCAD's Civil3D and Revit's 3rdp party tools, and software was also developed designed to combine each converted IFC model into one IFC. In addition, a viewer designed to view IFC in the road field was developed to prove the converted IFC. Eight major verification and examination items were selected and used in testing the converted model, and it was confirmed that the viewer normally viewed the IFC schema in the road field. The proposed IFC converter is expected to be used as a visual IFC verification tool in the road field.

The goal of a simulator is to provide for the testing of new technologies and to facilitate the eventual transfer of these technologies to the applications. In the Development Step, Simulation can provide a cost effective alternative to expensive and hazardous field testing. In this paper, a 3D simulator is developed to test UUV navigation system bated on RVC model. The simulation system consists of a environment manager, objects and a 3D viewer. Objects are modeling all physical elements such as map, obstacle and UUV which reside in a underwater environment. Those objects are created and initialized by environment manager. The environment manager plays the role of intermediator which allows created objects to interact with each other, and transmits information on the objects to 3D viewer. The 3D viewer analyzes the received information and visualizes 3D graphic by using OpenGL primitives.
TV broadcasting platform is evolving to the digital-TV, which is supporting data broadcasting service. Although the data broadcasting services (i.e., games, wether information, stock trading service) provide rich entertainment to viewers, they make the operation manners of digital-TV so complex that some viewers feel difficulty in using their TV sets. The paper tackles the problem by devising a method for constructing viewer-specific EPG configurations based on the viewers' ability of handling IT devices. The paper also propose an environment (e.g., EPG configuration transmitting method, EPG structure) that implements dynamically an EPG configuration based on the viewer's choice of EPG configuration.
As the number of channels and programs are increasing dramatically, a viewer seriously needs to book a program at the very time of watching its promotion program by "only one time" pressing remote controller's button. The program reserving system requiring to search a program via EPG is usually hard to operate and some researches that allow a viewer to book a program via its promotion program require additional heavy facilities such as image processing or ultra-frequency recognizing systems. In this paper, a new program reservation system is introduced. the system allows a viewer to book a program via its promotion program. The system is conformable to MHP (which is the data service standard most widely adopted in the world) so that the broadcasting stations need no additional equipments to implement it as long as they follow the MHP standard.
