  • Last Subway video surveillance system consists of a network device that is used. Through the network to transmit video data to digital conversion of analog video via a process server or a PC video to a split-screen in various forms is expressed. In recent years, multi-monitor video cameras from the same pop-up or more, such as history, structure expressed on a variety of video is required by express. The problem with these systems, video compression and transmission of many cameras, and this image data received from the server or PC to take out all the images you want to watch to occur when in order to express all of the images because of the need to decode most of the program per limit of number of channels is positioned. This limited number of channels to have a video that nothing forced, but it is likely to do so in the future performance of the hardware evolves gradually channeled images available number of channels will increase proportionately. However, as the development of hardware required for a single screen video channel will be more gradual capital. The hardware rather than relying solely on the performance of the decoded video data on the screen in order to express a more efficient utilization of shared memory for video surveillance software will provide the operating plan.

  • Currently, the development of multimedia communication has progressed so rapidly that the video program service has become a requirement for ordinary customers. The quality of experience (QoE) for the visual signal is of the fundamental importance for numerous image and video processing applications, where the goal of video quality assessment (VQA) is to automatically measure the quality of the visual signal in agreement with the human judgment of the video quality. Considering the codec effect to the video quality, in this paper an efficient non-reference (NR) VQA algorithm is proposed which estimates the video quality (VQ) only by utilizing the distorted video signal at the destination. The VQA feature vectors (FVs) which have high relationships with the subjective quality of the distorted video are investigated, and a hybrid NR VQA (HNRVQA) function is established by considering the multiple FVs. The simulation results, testing on the SDTV programming provided by VCEG Phase I, show that the proposed algorithm can represent the VQ accurately, and it can be used to replace the subjective VQA to measure the quality of the video signal automatically at the destinations.

  • This study developed a program that can produce videos easily and conveniently, focusing on teenage media producers. Through user research, we identified the needs and problems of teenage producers, and implemented a character customization function desired by users and an emotion and action recommendation system using GPT. In the rendering process, the final image was created by combining audio and video using OpenCV and FFmpeg. Teenage users who do not have expertise in video production can customize web drama characters through a simple interface and receive recommendations for emotions and actions with the help of GPT. The program of this study is expected to be a tool that can help teenage users who do not have expertise in editing and directing to produce high-quality videos, lower the entry barrier to video production, and contribute to the development of the one-person media industry. do. In the future, we plan to provide a video production environment considering mobile or vertical resolution versions.

Embedded Web Server for Monitoring and Control of a Mobile Robot

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient configuration of a system for the remote control of a mobile robot. The interface has a video feedback and runs in standard web environments. For control servers of mobile robot and CCD camera, we use the environment with embedded web server Specific program has been developed in order to grab the images using Microsoft Visual C++ The external camera sends the video signal to a framegrabber in the PC, then this program grabs the images and puts them in shared memory in BMP format. For a video feedback, we use image feedback based on the client pull technique supported by Netscape and Internet Explorer.

  • It is generally recognized that Video On Demand (VOD) service will become a promising interactive service in B-ISDN. We consider a hierarchical two level network architecture for VOD service. The first level consists of connected Local Video Servers(LVSs) in which a limited number of high vision programs are stored. The second level has one Central Video Server(CVS) containing all the programs served in the network. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the network traffic and to propose the storage policy for LVSs. For this purpose, we present an analysis of program storage amount in each LVS, transmission traffic volume between LVSs, and link traffic volume between CVS and LVSs, according to changing the related factors such as demand, the number of LVSs is also presented on the basis of the tradeoffs among program storage cost, link traffic cost, and transmission cost.

  • Video viewers can not understand enough entire video contents because most video is long length data of large capacity. This paper Propose efficient scene change detection and video abstracting using new shot clustering to solve this problem. Scene change detection is extracted by method that was merged color histogram with χ2 histogram. Clustering is performed by similarity measure using difference of local histogram and new shot merge algorithm. Furthermore, experimental result is represented by using Real TV broadcast program.

  • This paper proposes a system to analyze and summarize the video shots of baseball game TV program into fifteen categories. Our System consists of three modules: feature extraction, Hidden Markov Model (HMM) training, and video shot categorization. Video Shots belongs to the same class are not necessarily similar, so we require that the training set is large enough to include video shot with all possible variations to create a robust Hidden Markov Model. In the experiments, we have illustrated that our system can recognize the 15 different shot classes with a success ratio of 84.72%.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a home-based video exercise program on cancer-related fatigue, physiological and psychological status in patients with colon and rectal cancers undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: The study design was a non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. Data were collected from patients with colo-rectal cancers in Yonsei cancer center from July 5th to October 31st in 2011. There were 40 participants; 20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group. The structured questionnaire was used to measure fatigue, physical function and emotional status. Data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and a chi-squre test, Fisher's exact test, Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon signed- rank test were conducted to examine the homogeneity and the research hypotheses. Results: There was a statistically significant difference in White Blood Cell count in the experimental group compared with that of the control group. The exercise group showed a slight decrease of White Blood Cell count compared with that of the control group after 4 week program (z=-2.935, p=.003). However, there were no significant differences in fatigue, physiological and psychological status between the two groups. Conclusion: In this study, the developed video exercise program was effective in markedly slightly decreasing White Blood Cell count in patients with colo-rectal cancers undergoing chemotherapy. Therefore, utilizing the video exercise program can be an useful method to promote health among patients with cancer in clinical practice.

Effect of Video Education on the Moment of Hand Hygiene among Nursing student in Clinical Practicum. (임상실습 중인 간호학생의 손 위생 시점 동영상 실습교육의 효과)

  • Purpose: This study conducted a non-equivalent pre-post-test of quasi-experimental design that applied a video program about hand hygiene to nursing students to verify its effects on knowledge and performance of hand hygiene in clinical practicum. Methods: Data were collected from 92 students in three nursing colleges (44 in the experimental group and 48 in the control group) from 2 March to 30 June, 2017. Results: The results of the hypothesis tests were as follow. 1) Before and after the hand hygiene video program education, hand hygiene knowledge differed between the experimental group and the control group (t=6.30, p<0.001). 2) After the hand hygiene moment video program education, hand hygiene knowledge was higher in the experimental group than in the control group(t=6.34, p <0.001). 3) After the hand hygiene moment video program education, hand hygiene performance was higher in the experimental group than in the control group(t=3.82, p<0.001). 4). Knowledge and performance of hand hygiene moment are correlated(r=0.458, p <0.001). Conclusion: The hand hygiene moment education program may enhance hand hygiene knowledge and hand hygiene performance.

Design and Implementation of a H.264 Video player based on DirectShow via Bluetooth (블루투스를 이용한 DirectShow기반의 H.264 동영상 플레이어의 설계 및 구현)

  • Bluetooth is a popular wireless data transmission method with low power consumption, but it has low data transmission rate. Thus, although many video stream players of a local or network file exist, there have been few players of video stream transmitted via Bluetooth. MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec is one of video codecs available with best compression rates for a certain quality, so a H.264 encoder seems to be adequate for video stream to be transmitted via Bluetooth. In this paper, we present a DirectShow filter based player of video stream encoded by H.264 codec, which is transmitted via Bluetooth. Details on the design and implementation of this program are described. Experimental results are shown to demonstrate the validity of the implemented program using various video samples.
