자동차 항법장치의 화면표시형태에 대한 인간공학적 비교 (Comparison of Map Display Styles of Vehicle Navigation System on Human Factors)

  • The vehicle navigation system is developed for helping driver to retrieve driving information more easily and fastly. Navigation System informs driver many pieces of driving information - roadway structure and system, on-line traffic condition, the position of vehicle, route guidance, destination and other information service. As the style of information is diverse and the amount of information is large, driver may have mental and visual overload. The display of information can disturb the driver's attention and this can cause accidents. This state is caused by the defect of human-machine interactions. When the navigation system is designed, human factors - cognitive, judgment, operating - must be considered. The display style must be designed simply and easily, not to be obstacle of human -machine interface. In this study, outside-in view display style and inside-out view display style are compared each other. Two factors are measured. One is cognitive factor-time of cognition on information that is displayed by screen display, cognition error rate. The other is image of screen display - subject's feeling about several styles of display, degree of subject's preference. The prototype of roadway is four kinds - Cross, T-cross, Y-cross and O-cross. Roadway display for test is taken from paper maps. Traffic condition display style, vehicle position display style and route guidance display style are taken from current display style. Traffic condition display style is symbol. Vehicle position display style and route guidance display style are described as color and symbol. The test on screen display is implemented doing given tasks. Then the test is analyzed statistically, The result of test analysis gives the guideline to the designer for the map display of the vehicle navigation system.

Traumatic tension enterothorax in New Zealand: a case report

  • Traumatic rupture of the right hemidiaphragm occurred following a high-velocity motor vehicle collision in the case presented herein. The resulting herniation of small bowel loops into the thorax resulted in hemodynamic and respiratory compromise due to pressure effects on the right heart and major vessels. The patient's hemodynamic status improved with reduction of enterothorax, and the diaphragmatic defect was repaired. We discuss the available literature and learning points from this rare case.

  • Pressure vessels in vehicle industries, power plants, and chemical industries are often affected by flaw and defect generated inside the pressure vessels due to production processes or being used. It is very important to detect such internal defects of pressure vessel because they sometimes bring out serious problems. In this paper, an optical defect detection method using digital shearography is used. This method has advantages that the inspection can be performed at a real time measurement and is less sensitive to environmental noise. Shearography is a laser-based technique for full-field, non-contacting measurement of surface deformation (displacement or strain). The ultimate goal of this paper is to detect flaws in pressure vessels and to measure the lengths of the flaws by using unwrapping, phase images which are only obtained by Phase map. Through this method, we could decrease post-processing (next processing). Real length of a pixel can be calculated by comparing minimum and maximum unwrapping images with shearing angle. Through measuring several specimen defects which have different lengths and depths of defect, it can be possible to interpret quantitatively by calculating gray level.

3-Piezo 센서 기반 교통량 조사시스템의 차종분류방식에 대한 연구 (A Study on Efficient Vehicle Classification based on 3-Piezo Sensor AVC SYSTEM)

  • 국도 및 고속도로에 기 설치된 AVC System은 두 개의 Piezo Sensor를 평행 하게 설치하여 차량의 축수,축간거리, Front hang 등의 정보를 취득한다. 이러한 시스템은 두 개의 Piezo 신호만을 분석하여 사용하기 때문에 차량의 편향 주행등과 같은 주행패턴이나 센서 이상 등에 능동적으로 대처하기 힘들다. 차종의 분류성능 개선을 위해 제3의 센서인 사선 센서를 도입하여 3-sensor AVC 구동 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 본 알고리즘은 차량의 유거 및 윤폭정보를 기존의 정보 스키마에 추가함으로써 취득된 차종분류 정보 오분류를 획기적으로 줄일 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 이론적 알고리즘을 현장에 적용하여 실질적인 개선 효과가 있음을 증명할 수 있었다.

차량 헤드라이트 불량검사 방법 (Inspection of Vehicle Headlight Defects)

  • 본 논문에서는 차량 헤드라이트의 불량 유무를 판별하기 위하여 생산된 헤드라이트 이미지를 위치 및 회전 보정 후 검사이미지의 ROI(Region of Interest)와 표준 이미지의 ROI와의 유사도를 이용하여 불량 유무를 판단하는 방법을 제안하였다. 유사도 판별은 OpenCV에서 제공하는 템플릿매칭 유사도 판별방법을 응용하여 히스토그램 기반에서 유사도를 판별하는 방법을 사용하였고, 성능 분석을 목적으로 기존 OpenCV의 기본 방법과 비교하였다. 분석결과, OpenCV의 기본 방법보다 좋은 성능을 보임을 알 수 있었고, 제안 방법의 경우 불량 판별율 100%에 근접함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 하네스 배선은 자동차를 구동시키는데 필요한 전기적 신호를 전달하는 매개체 역할을 하며 자동차 성능에 많은 영향을 받는다. 기존 하네스 제품에서는 0과 1을 체크하는 기능으로 운영되고 있으며, 전선 조립 공정에서의 검사를 진행 시 하네스 작업자의 눈에 의한 외부 검사와 회로 검사기를 공정에서 사용하고 있다. 따라서, 검사기에서는 합격이 되어도, 완성 자동차에서는 사용 중에 불량이 발생 되고 있다. 이와 같은 불량을 개선하고자 사용되는, FPGA 기술을 적용한 ADC 정밀 하네스 검사를 통해 선과 선이 미세하게 끊어진 상태를 측정할 수 있는 설계와 시뮬레이션 결과를 제시한다.

  • The Seoul Subway is one of the most heavily used Subway System in the world. It provides reliable transportation services, conveys nearly 4 million Passengers across 117 subway stations with a length of 134.9 Km. Over the years the safety for the Subway has been a major concern, trains going off the track, equipment failure, careless operation, Signal failure are increasing day by day. In a Recent Public opinion 40% said the causes to above facts are Vehicle breakdown because of Operators, Old rail defect, Quality of material. 20% of the opinion said the obstacles were because of Operation, crew carelessness, negligence in signal operation. In case of any accident the crew members cannot resolve the issue on site (Aid insufficiency), because of lack of knowledge and carelessness. The main obstacles for Subway are vehicle breakdown, Electric equipment failure, Signal Equipment failure, and Crew carelessness. This paper aims to provide major problems which are needed to be solved as quickly as possible for citizen's safety for a comfortable subway system making a comfortable ride and providing better service gradually.

  • Defects in the vehicle itself were considered the biggest risk factor for traffic accidents as the electrical and electronic components of vehicles, which were not there before, increase. Therefore, the vehicles have been developed based on ISO 26262 (an international functional safety standard) which is focusing on functional defect safety evaluation of electrical and electronic component systems. However, in the future, as autonomous driving technology is applied, even vehicles without functional defects must be prepared for the dangerous traffic situation that may arise from exceptional or external factors. SOTIF (Safety Of The Intended Functionality) is a concept to prevent exceptional or external factors. The main objective of SOTIF is to decrease Unknown & Unsafe factors as much as possible by finding Known factors and Unsafe factors. In this study, Prescan provided SIEMENS, one of the autonomous driving simulators, is used to make scenarios of IGLAD traffic accident cases. From the simulation results, Unsafe & Safe cases were classified and analyzed to derive unsafe factors.

전기 자동차 부스바 인서트 사출 자동화 시스템 개발 (Development of a injection molding automation system of busbar insert for the electric vehicle)

  • Injection molding is a process widely used across various industries for molding plastics, and it is the most commonly applied process in root industries utilizing molds. Among the different types of injection molding, insert injection molding, where busbars are used as inserts, is increasingly being applied in the electric vehicle industry. However, currently, the insert injection molding process is manually performed, with workers placing insert components by hand before injection molding. This results in issues related to productivity, safety, and quality. Additionally, there is a growing demand for automation of such production lines due to hazardous working conditions, economic difficulties in the manufacturing industry, and the decline in the labor force caused by an aging population. This study focuses on the application of an automated system for the insert injection molding process used in electric vehicles. The development of an automated system for the transport and insertion of insert components, as well as the inspection and stacking processes after injection, has resulted in over a 25% improvement in productivity and more than a 27% reduction in defect rates.

자동차 리콜제도 개선방안에 관한 연구 (An Study on Improvement of Vehicle Recall Systems)

  • 자동차 리콜제도를 선진화시키는 것은 자동차의 결함으로 발생하는 교통사고로부터 인간의 생명을 보호한다는 측면뿐만 아니라 결함 없는 자동차의 제작에 기여하여 결국에는 자동차 산업의 대외경쟁력을 강화시켜 자동차 산업을 발전시키는 데에도 매우 중요한 사항이다. 자기인증제는 제작사의 자율권을 최대한 부여한다는 취지에서 도입된 제도지만 제작된 자동차에 대한 사전검증 및 승인 없이 시장에 판매된다는 측면에서 자동차 결함의 발생 가능성은 그 만큼 크다. 따라서 자동차 리콜제도의 정착은 선택적 사항이 아닌 필수적인 과제이다. 분석결과 자동차 리콜제도는 여러 가지 이유로 인해서 자동차 제작사와 소비자 모두로부터 개선을 요구받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 리콜관련 법 제도에 대한 분석, 제작사와 소비자에 대한 의견조사를 수행하였으며 이를 토대로 문제점을 분석하고 향후의 정책방안을 제시하였다. 제시된 정책방안은 리콜대상 및 범위의 명확한 설정, 결함정보의 신속한 수집, 결함 판정의 객관성을 확보, 리콜에 대한 지속적인 모니터링 수행 등으로 구분할 수 있다.
