A series of experiments to analyse and to compare performance of various types of mini-sprinkler was carried out. Twelve kinds of the sprinkler, which have various sizes of nozzle orifice diameter and structures of spreader, were selected to be tested. Flow (water sprinkling) rate and sprinkling intensity pattern from a sprinkler were measured as a first part of this study, and the results are as follows. Sprinkler flow rate of various sizes of nozzle orifice and applied water pressures could be predicted by Torricelli's theorem. Discharge coefficients of the Torricelli's theorem for the sprinkler nozzle of various sizes were determined by the experiment as 0.90- 0.95, 0.80-0.82 and 0.76-0.79 for 0.8, 1.2 and 1.6 mm of nozzle orifice diameter, respectively. Experiments on sprinkling intensity pattern resulted that nozzle orifice diameter and applied water pressure are major variables for uniformity of the sprinkling intensity. More uniform sprinklering patterns were noted with smaller nozzle orifice diameter of a sprinkler and at lower sprinkling pressure. Besides the variables, structure of spreader of a sprinkler is also an important variable for the uniformity of sprinkling intensity.

The combustion and flow-rate control characteristics of fuel-rich gas generator which could be adopted to Ducted Rocket propulsion system are investigated. The gas generator is designed considering the design requirements of propulsion system and solid fuel for fuel-rich combustion is developed then adopted to ground test. The results of combustion test show the necessity of the special analysis tool for estimating the gas generator performance where multi-phase flow of fuel-rich gas exists. During the flow-rate control test, characteristics of gas generator pressure with the angle of valve are analyzed and, method to estimate the pressure of gas generator is suggested using the relation between the valve exit area and discharge coefficient.
This paper presents the ESD protection circuit with improved electrical characteristic and area efficiency. The proposed ESD protection circuit has higher holding voltage and lower trigger voltage characteristics than the 3-Stacking LVTSCR. In addition, it has only two stages and has improved Ron characteristics due to short discharge path of ESD current. We analyzed the electrical characteristics of the proposed ESD protection circuit by TCAD simulator. The proposed ESD protection circuit has a small area of about 35% compared with 3-Stacking LVTSCR, The proposed circuit is designed to have improved latch-up immunity by setting the effective base length of two NPN parasitic bipolar transistors as a variable.

;The growth of films have considerable interest in the field of superlattice structured multi-layer epitaxy led to realization of new devices concepts. Molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) with in situ observation by reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED) is a key technology for controlled layered growth on the atomic scale in oxide crystal thin films. Also, the combination of radical oxygen source and MBE will certainly accelerate the progress of applications of oxides. In this study, the growth process of single crystal films using by MBE method is discussed taking the oxide materials of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu family. Oxidation was provided by a flux density of activated oxygen (oxygen radicals) from an rf-excited discharge. Generation of oxygen radicals is obtained in a specially designed radical sources with different types (coil and electrode types). Molecular oxygen was introduced into a quartz tube through a variable leak valve with mass flowmeter. Corresponding to the oxygen flow rate, the pressure of the system ranged from $1{\;}{\times}{\;}10^{-6}{\;}Torr{\;}to{\;}5{\;}{\times}{\;}10^{-5}$ Torr. The base pressure was $1{\;}{\times}{\;}10^{-10}$ Torr. The growth of Bi-oxides was achieved by coevaporation of metal elements and oxygen. In this way a Bi-oxide multilayer structure was prepared on a basal-plane MgO or $SrTiO_3$ substrate. The grown films compiled using RHEED patterns during and after the growth. Futher, the exact observation of oxygen radicals with MBE is an important technology for a approach of growth conditions on stoichiometry and perfection on the atomic scale in oxide. The oxidization degree, which is determined and controlled by the number of activated oxygen when using radical sources of two types, are utilized by voltage locked loop (VLL) method. Coil type is suitable for oxygen radical source than electrode type. The relationship between the flux of oxygen radical and the rf power or oxygen partial pressure estimated. The flux of radicals increases as the rf power increases, and indicates to the frequency change having the the value of about $2{\times}10^{14}{\;}atoms{\;}{\cdots}{\;}cm^{-2}{\;}{\cdots}{\;}S^{-I}$ when the oxygen flow rate of 2.0 seem and rf power 150 W.150 W.

The electrodeless lamps using the induction discharge have a long lifetime and a high tolerance for the variable output conditions of a ballast since they don't need the electrodes. This paper proposed two novel dimming algorithms for the Electrodeless lamps and described the resonant inverter adopted the proposed methods. The proposed dimming algorithms are based on the conventional burst dimming method which is normally adopted for LCD back-lights. One of the proposed algorithms is a improved burst dimming method, which controls the illumination by duty ratio of $5\%$ and its control circuit is formed by simple digital logics. The other algorithm is a burst PWM average duty ratio control method, which controls the illumination by duty ratio of $1\%$ and its control circuit is formed by more complex digital logics than the first method. To verify the validity of the proposed dimming methods, a prototype experimental setup for 100W Electrodeless lamps is carried out and its results are presented in this paper.
An explanatory design was employed to identify the relationship of physical, emotional & social readjustment and social support of post hospitalized stroke patients and their caregivers. A convenient sample of 254 patients who given follow-up care at the outpatient department after discharge and 225 caregivers were recruited. Mental Status Questionnaire (MSQ), Social Support Inventory Stroke Survivors (SSISS), Illness intrusiveness(II), Instument Activity of Daily Living(IADL), Center of Epidemilogic Studies-Depression(CES-D), social activity and caregiver burden were used for measurement in this study. Results showed patient's physical level measured by IADL and psychological level measured by depression were high. But social activity was low. Cognitive function, depression & social activity were not significantly different by the posthospitalized period, but IADL was. The source of professional support was mostly the physician at the outpatient department. The family support was found significantly related to patient's depression & social activity and caregiver's subjective burden. Professional support was found significantly related to patient's IADL & depression. Illness intrusiveness as a mediating variable was a sig nificantly predicting power on patient's IADL & depression. The path analysis was used to identify the variables to predict the physical, emotional, and social status of patients. As a result, patient's age, cognitive function, illness intursiveness and professional support significantly predicted the level of IADL ; patient's cognitive function, illness intrusiveness and family support significantly predicted the level of depression ; and patient's age and family support significantly predicted the level of social activity of posthospitalized stroke patients. Based upon these results, the rehabilitation programs to reduce the illness intrusiveness and improve cognitive funtion were recommended for the readjustment of the stroke patients. This model of the readjustment of the posthospitalized stroke patients is recommended as the framework for care of the stroke patients.
In this study, the fully coupled SWAT-MODFLOW model is developed by using the type of embedment MODFLOW in SWAT. Since SWAT model has semi distributed features, its groundwater component can't consider distributed parameters such as hydraulic conductivity, storage coefficient and spatially variable natures such as distribution of groundwater heads and pumping rate and so forth. The main purpose of this study is to overcome these limitations. This linkage is completed considering the interaction between stream network and aquifer to reflect boundary flow. To correspond HRU in SWAT to grid in MODFLOW, HRU-GRID conversion tool using DEM is newly suggested. As groundwater recharge of MODFLOW can be estimated accurately by SWAT model, the reliability of groundwater discharge and total runoff of watershed could be greatly enhanced.

Purpose: Most paraquat poisonings are easily diagnosed by history taking on physical examination, however, some are failed to be diagnosed initially if the poisoning was veiled. The purpose of this study was to explore the clinical characteristics of veiled paraquat poisoning. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of patients whose discharge diagnosis was paraquat poisoning in one university teaching hospital between 1 Jan, 2001 and 31 Dec, 2010. Veiled paraquat poisoning was determined when there was a positive urine paraquat kit in patients who did not mention paraquat poisoning in an initial physical examination or had unknown cause of pulmonary fibrosis, acute renal failure, or multi-organ failure. Results: Of the 117 patients with paraquat poisoning during the study period, 6 patients (5.1%) had veiled paraquat poisoning. The clinical characteristics were 1) proteinuria - 6 (100%), 2) increased creatinine - 4 (66.7%), 3) green skin stains - 2 (33.3%), 4) mucosal ulcer - 3 (50%). Blood chemistry results were variable. Conclusion: We should suspect veiled paraquat poisoning for patients who have proteinuria, increased creatinine, green skin stain, mucosal ulcer and vomiting, or if they have rapidly progressing acute renal failure or multi-organ failure with unknown cause, even if patients didn't mention about paraquat poisoning upon the initial physical examination. In cases with the above clinical conditions, a thorough repeated physical examination including history taking and use of urine paraquat kits should be performed.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the factors influencing the ambulatory status in hemiplegia with intracerebral hemorrhage after rehabilitation. Thirty patients with stroke who was admitted in the Chosun University Hospital, between from January 1st' 1998 and December 31st' 1998, were included in this study. The following variables as a potential predictors for ambulation were evaluated at treatment of the stroke onset; 1) general characteristics including age and sex, and 2) clinical characteristics including frequency and onset time of the stroke, affected side, duration of the treatment, time interval between onset and rehabilitation, manual muscle test of paretic limb, sitting and standing balance, proprioception, perception, cognitive function. We compared and analyzed the these variables to the two type of ambulatory status at the time of the discharge by Modified Barthel Index, independent, dependent. The data were analyzed by student t-test, Fisher-exact test, Mann Whitney-U test, $X^{2}$-test, correlation analysis(spearman's). The results were as follows; 1. Were no significantly inflenced independent ambulatory status among general characteristics. 2. Frequency of the stroke and proprioception (p<0.05), muscle strength of the lower limb, cognitive function and standing balance (p<0.01), perception and sitting balance (p<0.001) were significantly inflenced independent ambulatory status among clinical characteristics. 3. Independent Variable correlated with the ambulatory status were muscle strength of the lower limb, proprioception and sitting balance (p<0.05), standing balance, frequency of the stroke, perception and cognitive function (p<0.01). Therefore the muscle strength of the lower limb, proprioception, sitting balance, standing balance, frequency of the stroke, perception, cognitive function were the most significant influencing factors of ambulatory status after rehabilitation.
Since the hypothalamus immediately reacts to a nerve by processing all the information from the human body and the external stimulus being conducted, it performs a significant role in internal secretion; thus, a diverse and rapid stimulus pulse is required. By detecting Zero Detector accurately via the application of AVR on-Chip (ATMEL) using commercial electricity, chopping generates a stimulus pulse to the brain using an IGBT gate to designate a new magnetic stimulation following treatment and diagnosis. To simplify and generate a diverse range of stimuli for the brain, chopping can be used as a free magnetic stimulator. Then, commercial frequency (60Hz) is chopped precisely at the first level of the leakage transformer to deliver an appropriate stimulus pulse towards the hypothalamus when necessary. Discharge becomes stable, and the chopping frequency and duty-ratio provide variety after authorizing a high-pressure chopping voltage at the second level of the magnetic stimulator. These methods have several aims. The first is to apply a variable stimulus pulse via accurate switching frequency control by a voltaic pulse or a pulse repetition rate, according to the diagnostic purpose for a given hypothalamus. Consequently, the efficiency tends to increase. This experiment was conducted at a maximum of 210 W, a magnetic induced amplitude of 0.1~2.5 Tesla, a pulse duration of $200{\sim}350\;{\mu}s$, magnetic inducement of 5 Hz, stimulus frequency of 0.1~60 Hz, and a duration of stimulus train of 1~10 sec.
