An Adaptive Strategy for Providing Dynamic Route Guidance under Non-Recurrent Traffic Congestion (돌발적 교통혼잡발생시 동적경로안내를 위한 적응형 알고리즘개발에 관한 연구)

  • 첨단교통정보시스템(ATIS)의 핵심 요소라 할 수 있는 동적경로안내 시스템(Dynamic Route Guidance System : DRGS)은 운전자가 목적지에 도착하기까지 실시간 교통정보를 토대로 최적경로를 안내해 줌으로써 날로 심화되어 가고 있는 교통혼잡을 최소화할 수 있으리라 기대를 모으고 있다. 특히 교통사고나 긴급도로공사 등으로 인해 발생하는 돌발적 교통혼잡하에서는 DRGS의 역할이 더욱 커질 것으로 예상되고 있다. 본 논문은 돌발적 교통혼잡하에서 보다 효과적인 DRGS의 경로 안내 알고리즘을 개발하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 우선 하부구조기반(Infrastructure Based) DRGS와 개인차량기반(In-vehicle Based)DRGS의 장단점을 운전자, 교통행정당국, 그리고 교통체계관점에서 비교하였고, 시스템 아키텍쳐와 경로안내 알고리즘간의 상호관계를 규명하였다. 또한 효율적인 경로안내를 위해 사용자 평형(User Equilibrium)경로안내전략과 시스템최적화(System Optimal) 경로안내전략을 이상형 교통망(Idealistic Network)을 통해 비교분석하였다. 여기에는 현재 ITS-America에서 System Architecture 평가를 위해 사용한 INTEGRATION이라는 ITS Simulation Model과 그 통행저항함수를 사용하였다. 이를 토대로 돌발적 교통혼잡상황 아래서 사용자평형 경로안내를 제공할 경우 야기될 수 있는 Braess` Paradox 문제와, 총통행시간을 최소화하기 위한 시스템최적 경로안내를 제공할 경우 일어날 수 있는 사용자 호응도(User Compliance)문제를 동시에 고려한 적응형 동적경로안내 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 여기에는 돌발적 교통혼잡하에서 통행시간을 동적으로 예측하기 위해 이산형 확정적 대기행렬모형(Discrete Deterministic Queueing Model)이 사용되었다. 한편 알고리즘의 효율성을 평가하기 위해 이상형 교통망과, 실제 미국 Virginia 주의 Fairfax County에 소재한 주간 고속도로 66번(I-66)과 인접 교통망의 교통자료를 사용하여 각종 돌발교통 혼잡 상황을 전제로 한 Traffic Simulation과 정보제공시나\리오를 INTEGRATION Model을 이용해 실행하였다. 그 결과 적응형 알고리즘이 개개인의 최단시간 경로를 제공하는 사용자 평형 경로안내전략에 비해 교통혼잡도와 정체시간의 체류정도에 따라 3%에서 10%까지 전체통행시간을 절약할 수 있다는 결론을 얻었다.

Satisfaction Factors and Determinants of Visitors in Byeonsanbando National Park, Korea (변산반도국립공원의 탐방객 만족요인 및 예측모형 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for developing the practical park management. For this, satisfaction degree, satisfaction factors and estimated model by satisfaction variables of visitors analyzed through a questionnaire survey in Byeonsanbando National Park, Korea. In the evaluation of the satisfaction, variables of 'careless cooking'. 'collection of natural plants & animals', 'Noise and urination on the road' and 'Littering problem' at Naesosa and 'crowding', 'touting', 'Indiscreet use' and 'Illegal merchant' at Gyeokpo was most unsatisfied than any other variables. Satisfaction factors by Factor Analysis were loaded with 'user management' at Naesosa(65.1%) and 'business behavior management at Gyeokpo(68.4%) by the highest contribution degree. In estimated model of satisfaction by Multiple Regression Analysis showed in order of 'Injury of landscape resource', 'Lack of information facility', 'crowding' and 'Lack of employee's guidance or kindness' at Naesosa and 'Injury of landscape resource', 'Lack of information facility', 'Illegal merchant', Lack of facility to stay' and 'Lack of employee's guidance or kindness' at Gyeokpo. So, Mountain and marine National Parks needed different management policy and are required to institutional apparatus for user education.

  • For the last few years, LBS has attracted considerable attention from many industries and societies as a result of propagated smart devices. LBS has a high utilization of mobile users as it uses user positions as a significant factor. Current LBS has only taken user position into account and it makes some limits. So, it is necessarily suggested that support for personalized services which consider user's motion, traffic condition, weather condition, time, personal information and preferences that have a huge impact on the accuracy. The purpose of this study is to design the inference systems with user's motion, preferences and schedules and provide users with the personalized information. To achieve this, Movement Ontology, User Profile Ontology, Schedule Ontology and Work Ontology should be constructed and based on this, smart applications were developed. Developed applications induced appropriately recommended results according to user's preference, motion and directions.

  • For the sake of activating web-based reading education in the public libraries, This study examine the practical use of web-based reading education and research into its activation. Web-based reading, red the book at any time/where with librarian and user, is to achieve the goal of reading education. The methods are to set up Home page of reading education through Internet, to guide user in various web-based reading materials and reading planning at any time. In addition, It is to be completed interactive action such as book review, reading dicussion through E-mail, a bulletin board, chatting etc. with librarian or user.

  • The Korea metropolitan areas have the largest of population density in OECD countries. Those people who use public transportation is facing many difficulties in commuting and going to school. There are many applications to help this situation. However, those applications inform a regular timetable and also offer a real-time alarm to user by user's passive action. In this paper, we design and implement the application that give the real-time traffic information and the arrival notification message about subway, bus and foot to user.

A Study on the Interface Design of Preschool Children Educational Course-ware Based on User Experience and TAM

  • The purpose of this study is to help preschool children in the interface design of educational game APP at the psychological level. The conceptual model is constructed through the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to explore the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use when children are playing educational game APP. The empirical study was conducted in the form of questionnaires collected after children used game. The research subjects were 3-6 years old children, and the research tool was the game app. Data collection under the guidance of their parents. The research shows that children educational game experience elements can effectively increase preschool children's psychological perception of educational games. Perceived ease of use also increases trust in educational games for children. The results were as follows: 1. Cronbach's Alpha and KMO were 0.969 and 0.955, and the P value was significant, which passed the reliability and validity test. 2. Through confirmatory factor analysis (Model fit index, Composite reliability, discriminant validity), we found that user experience is closely related to perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. 3. The path analysis of the relationship proves that perceived ease of use play a key role in trusting preschool children educational game APP.

  • This paper introduces TIGS(Touring Information Guidance System) which provides information of the southwestern area of korea with faster access time than the human service. This system is designed specifically for a traveler. This TIGS provides tourists the informations such as destination, current map information, touring courses according to schedules, traffic information and lodging information. furthermore, this system is implemented with touchscreen for the user to apply easily. The shortest path algorithm is applied to schedule the touring courses to refute the time and the cost. The map is raster manner to represent southwestern area of korea instead of vectorial manner. If this developed system should be established in the public space such as station, airport, and bus station, touring will be more comfortable, the total income will more increase. Also, this system can be easily applied to different local area.

  • This paper describes methods to estimate 3-D position of target with respect to reference frame through monocular image from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). 3-D position of target is used as information for surveillance, recognition and attack. In this paper. 3-D position of target is estimated to make guidance and control law, which can follow target, user interested. It is necessary that position of target is measured in image to solve 3-D position of target. In this paper, kalman filter is used to track and output position of target in image. Estimation of target's 3-D position is possible using result of image tracking and information of UAV and camera. To estimate this, two algorithms are used. One is methode from arithmetic derivation of dynamics between UAV, carmer, and target. The other is LPV (Linear Parametric Varying). These methods have been run on simulation, and compared in this paper.

  • In this paper, RFID technology was applied to fitness center and order to exercise the right of each user without the guidance of a personal trainer should be made systematically. for example, excercise sequence, equipment usage, excercise and golas etc. Also, Customers who use the fitness center using RFID is trainer at a low-cost under the guidance of the same effect can be expected. In this paper, Our system will record the movements of time, as well as our system can be analyze of excercise using micro processor and acceleration sensor.
