This paper describe an interactive video object segmentation tool which can be used to generate MPEG-4 video object planes for multimedia broadcasting and enables content based functionalities. In order to apply these functionalities, each frame of video sequence should be represented in terms of video objects. Semiautomatic segmentation can be thought of as a user-assisted segmentation technique. A user can initially mark objects of interest around the real object boundaries. Then the user-guided and selected objects are continuously separated from the unselected areas though time evolution in the image sequences. We proposed method shows very promising result and this encourages the development of object based video editing system.

This study is intended to suggest an improvement scheme of activating container multiplex cultural space through an analysis of container architecture characteristics and a survey of user satisfaction, focusing on container multiplex cultural space located in Seoul city. Hence, the elements of multiplex cultural space and the characteristics of container architecture were deduced and analyzed through precedent study and literature review relating to multiplex cultural space and container architecture, and then an analysis framework was established with items to measure the user satisfaction. Based on this, a questionnaire was created, and users were surveyed through on-site visit. The results of analyzing the container multiplex cultural space users' satisfaction are as follows. First, in order to increase user satisfaction, it is necessary to highlight visual element. Second, there is necessity for distinct space configuration, such as connection, stack and extension by utilizing the fixed specifications, the characteristics of container. Third, there is necessity for extended space where people feel a sense of openness. Fourth, it should be improved so that air is well circulated by installing glass, operable window, etc. In further research, it is thought necessary to make a study of commercial space and facilities inside university besides multiplex cultural space.

Reaching up the present from the past, the design was reflected in our life, thereby having brought about great development in the aesthetic harmony or functional part. In the present era, it is advancing in order to seek for the better direction without being satisfied with formativeness. What comes to represent it is UX design, namely, user-experience design. If a user has confusion in using product or environmental facilities, or if a user needs to utilize by analyzing function, this cannot help being inconvenient. Only what a user's behavior is caused by which the cognitive and sensitive attributes interact without inconvenience can be said to be design for a user. Given explaining easily, UX implies to design and develop the designed product or space from the position of a client who uses. Also, it also implies to offer service of being satisfied. For one example, a work can be said that distributes logo to the upper part of web site. That is because of allowing client to be much confused if logo is distributed to the different position. The designed web site in consideration of user's position is developed much now. However, it is the real situation of being still much insufficient in the public facilities that have UX characteristics amid the living environment. There is great interest in UX of the public facilities. However, there are many cases of facing mostly for the first time. The understanding level is thought to be much different. This study examines about a concept of UX design, and about UX design, which considered from the user's position, and analyzes a case. Thus, the aim is to suggest good directivity in designing by efficiently approaching UX that can be difficult theoretically.

교통 이용자는 교통시스템의 세 가지 주요 구성요인인 이용자, 운송수단, 그리고 도로시설 중의 하나로써 교통서비스와 교통안전 등을 고려할 때 매우 중요한 요소이다. 하지만, 지금까지 교통공학의 연구는 주로 도로시설 및 주행환경에 집중되어 왔고, 실제적 구체인 교통 이용자의 측면에 대해서는 많은 연구가 진행되지 못해 왔다. 이러한 교통 이용자의 인지 및 만족도(transportation user perception)를 평가하는데 있어서, 기존 방법론은 많은 한계를 안고 있다. 이는 인간의 인지/판단 과정(Human thought process)이 매우 주관적이고, 복잡하며, 평가자의 개별적인 특성 및 상황적인 특성에 따라 그 결과가 달라질 수 있기 때문이다. 또한 자신의 인지/만족도를 평가하는 데 있어 우리 인간은 이를 수량화하기 보다는 언어적인 평가방법에 익숙하기 때문이다. 이러한 교통이용자 측면을 교통공학에 보다 구체적으로 접목시키기 위한 노력으로, 본 연구에서는 교통이용자 측면을 고려한 교통공학의 패러다임 전환을 위한 필요성과 배경을 언급하고자 한다. 이를 위해 교통이용자 측면을 고려한 서비스수준 평가에 관한 연구를 중심으로 사례연구를 분석하여 향후 연구방향을 제시하고, 교통전문가와 교통이용자를 대상으로 한 설문조사결과를 분석하여 교통이용자의 인지정보의 다양성과 주관성을 설명하였다. 끝으로 이러한 교통이용자의 인지정보를 평가하기 위한 대안적인 방법을 제시하고, 이를 이용하여 연구된 다양한 선행연구를 제시함으로써 제안한 방법에 대한 적용 가능성을 모색하였다.

이 연구의 목적은 공공도서관 독서치료 서비스에 대한 이용자의 인식과 요구를 파악하는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 부산, 울산, 경남 지역 공공도서관 이용자 648명을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 독서치료에 대한 인식, 공공도서관 독서치료 서비스 활성화 방안에 대한 인식과 독서치료 서비스에 대한 이용자의 요구를 분석하였다. 그 결과를 토대로 서비스, 비용, 환경과 공간, 홍보, 사서와 이용자, 적시성 측면에서 공공도서관 독서치료 서비스를 활성화하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

기존 인터페이스 디자인에 대한 연구에서는 자연스럽고 편안한 사용을 통한 효율적인 의미 전달 방법을 제시하기 위한 전제로 인간이 지각하고 행동하고 사고하는 원리에 대한 설명을 언급하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 편안한 사용이 사용자의 편의성과 연관이 있으며, 편의와 효율은 인간의 감성과 연결되어 있을 것이라는 기초 가설에서 시작 되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 시각적 메타포 요소가 사용자의 감성에 미치는 영향에 대한 분석을 통해 기존 연구가 주로 메타포를 언어적 수사의 표현으로 이해하는데 반해 메타포의 시각적 요소가 인터페이스의 편의성과 친밀도에 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 밝히는 데 있다. 이를 위해 메타포의 개념과 감성디자인의 개념과 함께 관련 선행연구를 고찰하고 프로토콜 분석을 통해 메타포의 요소를 피 실험자가 구두화하는 과정을 통해 감성에 미친 영향을 분석 할 것이다.

The vision of ubiquitous computing is becoming a reality now .Service discovery in ubiquitous environment, as well as adding semantics to the data is quite established. But, not many researchers have thought about the management of these devices. We envisage that by integrating SNMP with service discovery protocols, we could leverage the use of management factors (like performance, fault and security management etc) in the business, organizations, and other multi-user environments.

인지모델(Cognitive Model)에 의한 사용성 평가는 실제 실험에 의한 방법에 비해 시간, 노력, 비용을 절감할 수 있다. 여러 인지모델 중 ACT-R(Adaptive Control of Thought Rational)은 인간의 모든 인지과정을 상세하게 묘사할 수 있어 다른 모델보다 정확히 인간의 과제 수행을 정량적으로 예측할 수 있다. 그러나 ACT-R 모델을 수립하기 위해서는 인간의 지각, 주의, 기억 인출 등의 처리 과정과 행동 선택 및 수행에 필요한 과제 수행 규칙을 매우 상세하게 분석 및 기술해야 하기 때문에, GUI(Graphic User Interface) 환경에서 운용되는 메뉴 인터페이스와 같이 다양한 시각적 정보의 처리가 요구되는 과제에 대한 모델을 수립하는데는 많은 시간과 노력이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 GUI 환경에서 전문가 수준의 과제 수행을 예측할 수 있는 간략화한 ACT-R 모델 수립 방안을 제안하고, 이를 이용하여 상용 통계 분석 소프트웨어의 과제 수행도를 예측하였다. 그 결과 실제 실험을 통한 측정 결과와 간략화한 ACT-R 모델의 예측 결과가 잘 일치하였으며 본 연구에서 제시한 간략화한 ACTR 모델이 메뉴 인터페이스의 사용성 평가에 효율적으로 적용될 수 있음을 확인하였다.

본 연구는 등산로의 물리적 특성과 등산시 운동강도와의 관계를 밝히고 이를 이용자관리에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 설악산국립공원과 계룡산국립공원을 대상으로 운동부하에 영향을 미치는 등산로의 물리적 특성을 조사한 결과, 경사도가 주요원인이며, 등산시 짐의 무게도 운동부하 증감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 급경사지에 위치한 등산로의 이용을 억제시킬 수 있는 방안으로 등산로의 연령대별 운동강도를 추정하여 제시하였다. 제시된 홍보자료는 체력이 낮거나 나이가 많은 탐방객의 이용을 억제시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

최근 스마트 기기의 보급 및 상용화로 인하여 IoT(Internet of Things) 환경에 대한 변화가 지속되고 있다. 이에 따라 사용자가 증가하여 개개인의 특성에 맞춤화된 서비스가 요구된다. 그러나 기존 시스템들은 개발자가 정의해놓은 규칙에 따라 수동적으로 작업이 수행되기 때문에 사용자에게 일반화된 서비스만 제공되는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 사용자 설정 및 작업 관리 시스템을 설계하였다. 사용자는 어플리케이션을 통하여 각 센서의 우선순위를 정의하고 이에 따른 센서들을 관리한다. 이를 통해 사용자는 개인의 특성에 맞는 작업을 수행하게 되고 보다 효율적인 작업 능률을 기대할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
