The Practical Use of Web-based Reading System in the Public Libraries (공공도서관에서 웹을 통한 독서교육 실제 및 활성화 - 광주.전남지역을 중심으로 -)

  • For the sake of activating web-based reading education in the public libraries, This study examine the practical use of web-based reading education and research into its activation. Web-based reading, red the book at any time/where with librarian and user, is to achieve the goal of reading education. The methods are to set up Home page of reading education through Internet, to guide user in various web-based reading materials and reading planning at any time. In addition, It is to be completed interactive action such as book review, reading dicussion through E-mail, a bulletin board, chatting etc. with librarian or user.

A Study on the Factors of Mobile Applications Adoption (모바일 어플리케이션 수용 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Mobile applications market has emerged as new business model. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of mobile applications adoption. Based on prior studies of TAM and mobile technology/service, service quality, user experience, OS compatibility, self-efficacy, innovativeness, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and cost were identified as affecting factors of mobile applications adoption. According to the results, service quality is significantly related to the perceived usefulness, and self-efficacy and innovativeness are significantly related to the perceived ease of use. User experience was also found to be related to both the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use. In case of OS compatibility, it was found to be significantly related to the perceived ease of use, but not to the perceived usefulness. Both the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use were found to be related to the adoption of mobile applications. However, cost was not found to be significant to the relationship between the perceived usefulness/the perceived ease of use and the adoption of mobile applications. This study contributes to provide the base of activation strategies and practical implications for mobile applications.

  • Metabus, a three-dimensional virtual environment for digital communication, has gained a lot of attention recently. Even so, there are still many unanswered questions about the user's consciousness and behavior. A difference in nature from conventional digital communication is also unclear. This paper aims to study Metabus on a hypothetical premise by organizing the possibility of Metabus for communication activation based on a research project aimed at using Metabus to support the formation of a community of school dormitories and studio rental residents. After reviewing the establishment process and application cases of Metabus, we focus on the character (avatar) used as the user's alter ego within the metabus, which will allow customization of both form and content different from text-based communication. The "physicality" and the "spatiality" of the metaverse and the "immersion" they bring are among the most important, functional innovations. Based on this summary, a case of using metabuses will be reviewed to describe the research plan aimed at supporting community formation.

A Study on User Perception of Tourism Platform Using Big Data

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze user perceptions of tourism platforms through big data. Data were collected from Naver, Daum, and Google as big data analysis channels. Using semantic network analysis with the keyword 'tourism platform,' a total of 29,265 words were collected. The collection period was set for two years, from August 31, 2021, to August 31, 2023. Keywords were analyzed for connected networks using TexTom and Ucinet programs for social network analysis. Keywords perceived by tourism platform users include 'travel,' 'diverse,' 'online,' 'service,' 'tourists,' 'reservation,' 'provision,' and 'region.' CONCOR analysis revealed four groups: 'platform information,' 'tourism information and products,' 'activation strategies for tourism platforms,' and 'tourism destination market.' This study aims to expand and activate services that meet the needs and preferences of users in the tourism field, as well as platforms tailored to the changing market, based on user perception, current status, and trend data on tourism platforms.

A Study for Use Conditions and Activation Plan of Chungnam Keumkang Arboretum (충남금강수목원의 이용실태 및 활성화 방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study had researched use conditions of forty-seven arboreta in the inside and outside of the country for the suggestion of activation plan of provincial arboretum. Chungnam Keum-Kang Arboretum in Kongju-Si, Chung-Cheong Nam-Do, had been surveyed as a case study. The survey was focused on current condition, location, ecological resources, characteristics and so on. In addition, questionnaire of users of Keum-Kang arboretum were conducted. Chungnam Keum-Kang arboretum is located in the inland area and has many vegetations. It is a provincial arboretum which was planted by trees, shrubs and vines, and a public garden which was used by paid admission. It has natural recreation forests, tropical green houses and breeding grounds for birds and wild animals. It, however, has many problem in the use and management system. And the shortages of attraction and program for user are serious problem. For the use activation and the improvement of management of this arboretum, this study suggested as follows ; (1) The responsible experts in charge of the general management of arboretum are demanded. (2) Term master plan for improvement of arboretum must be established. (3) It is necessary to manage for collection, propagation, display and preservation of plant species. (4) It is necessary to hold suitable and variety events for the seasons. (5) It is needed to arrange fitly convenience facilities.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the change of visual stimulus of users to the space through the experiment of EEG and the satisfaction of users depends on the lighting. To do that, the results measured with EEG experiment focusing on Beta ${\beta}$ were compared to each other to figure out difference in the changes of the activation of human brain on lighting's situation as the lighting off and on in the same space. The difference in the results was verified according to the characteristic of users which classified with 4 types of the spatial sensitivities. The results of this study are as following. Firstly, the spacial sensitivity of user is to communicate well with the different senses with stimulus through interaction among the elements. At this time, the brain plays a major role in build the spacial sensitivity of users as the place to make form. Secondly, there are the differences in the activation of brain depends on lighting situation even in the same space. The stimulus into the brain became generally stronger in images with lighting on than off. Especially, the response in the occipital lobe which connected with the visual center turn out strongly in the image of 'modern natural'. Because the visual stimulus interact well with the bright color, the reflectional texture and the rough texture painted the dark color. Thirdly, the satisfaction of users changed with lighting in the space. But we could know that the satisfaction of users isn't be related to the visual stimulus through the results of this study. Finally, there isn't the difference in the activation degree of brain according to the characteristic which are preference of users into 4 types of the spatial sensitivity through the results came from ANCOVA(analysis of covariance) with SPSS Program 22.

The Framework Design for Expansion in UCG Authoring Tool (확장성을 고려한 UCG 저작도구의 구조 설계)

  • For the activation and wide distribution of User Created Contents (UCC) sites have diversified user-created possibilities. Among these contents, User Created Game (UCG) sites are places where users can create and share their game contents with others. The method of UCG development can be classified into two categories according to the uses' level of professionalism. First, the method of using the authoring tools is suggested for those unfamiliar with the development or creation of contents. Although the authoring tool is easy to use, there are many functional limitations. Second, development using program languages is suggested for trained advanced users but has the limitation of a prolonged development period. This paper proposes a new method, generating the script which will expand the current functional limitations entailed behind the authoring tools used by first time and less trained users. In order to verify the proposed method in a real UCG development environment, a framework encompassing GUI, script generating function and program source generating function were constructed.

Understanding User Acceptability Towards to Robo Taxi Based on Value Based Adoption Model (가치기반수용모델 기반의 로보택시 사용자 수용성 분석)

  • This study explores the factors which affect user acceptance for Robo Taxi, an electricity-based Autonomous Vehicles based on a Value based Adoption Model. The three main factors of benefit (usefulness and enjoyment), sacrifice (technicality and perceived fee level), and user experience about mobility services such as car sharing, taxi, and autonomous vehicles, were finally selected as independent variables as a influential factors on perceived values and adoption intention of Robo taxi. The study found that usefulness, enjoyment, and perceived fee had a significant effects on adoption intention, and some user experiences had a significant effect on benefit factors. This study has important implications for incorporating the Value-based Adoption Model results into the service design for the activation of Robo taxi, and furthermore, they can provide a theoretical basis for effective use of the research findings.

  • As the number of smart libraries is continuously increasing, activation measures are necessary to expand user engagement and enhance service quality. This study analyzed the usage patterns of four smart libraries in A Library in Incheon, from June 2020 to December 2023. It also conducted user satisfaction surveys and question-and-answer sessions with a librarian. The number of books and loans increased, and two smart libraries in areas without public libraries showed high usage rates. Although users were satisfied with the smart libraries, they pointed out inconveniences such as the limited number of loan books and insufficient books. Consequently, it is suggested to improve user-centered service quality, continuous monitoring and evaluation, as well as active promotion.

A Study on the Influence of User Experience of Fashion Sharing Application on Acceptance: Based on UTAUT Model (패션 공유 어플리케이션의 사용자 경험이 수용에 미치는 영향 연구: UTAUT 모형을 중심으로)

  • Fashion cannot encourage co-consumption with other people as a personal item, but it can lead to new consumer needs if fashion sharing service can professionally replace the time and cost of purchasing and managing goods. The purpose of this study is to empirically investigate the factors influencing the acceptance of fashion-sharing services based on the integration theory of user acceptance and utilization (UTAUT), and to discuss the virtuous cycle and sustainability pursuit of resources through the activation of the sharing. In this study, the research model for the acceptance of fashion sharing applications is schematized, and the survey was conducted 300 women aged 20~49 years. The screens of 'Project Anne', a representative fashion sharing service in Korea, were provided as a visual data. Reliability analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation analysis, and multiple group analysis were performed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 22.0 statistical package for statistical analysis. As a result, efficiency and social influence positively influenced behavioral intention to use, and age has found that efficiency and social influences modulate the intensity of behavioral intention to use. Therefore, for the consumer acceptance and activation of fashion sharing services, marketing activities emphasizing efficiency and strengthening social influence factors are essential. Also, it is necessary to maintain the existing target group, 30~40s, and also construct additional products and price services for the 20s. This study is of academic significance in presenting basic data for empirical research on consumer acceptance of fashion sharing, and suggests a study on the influence relationship among user experience components for real users in the future.
