'연속된 공간, 내부 사회'에 관한 논고 - 건축과 도시 그리고 건축과 전원/시골의 연속적인 공간 관계를 중심으로 (Treatise on the Continuum of Spaces, Society of Interiors - Focused on The Continuous Rapport of Space between Architecture and The City, and Architecture and The Countryside)

  • The paper begins with the idea of the society of the continued rooms that building connects architectural space (building interior) and urban open space (urban interior) or countryside/rural open space (territorial interior). It gives an account of, through literature review, a theoretical possibility of integrating not only architecture and urbanism but also architecture and countryside/rural planning. The first site explores the continuously articulated and connected spaces between building interior, urban interior, and territorial interior, in understanding Alberti's analogy, "A house is a little city." (1452) The second site illustrates architecture as an open boundary and a spatial medium which makes building, urban, and territorial interiors connect and makes them continuous. There is an opportunity of reading the continued relations and the continua of spaces. The third site deals with the form of building that architecture creates for building interior (society of rooms) and urban interior (society of urban rooms), and moderates the interiors. The last site clarifies the territorial interior (society of countryside/rural rooms) that constitutes homogeneous spatiality moderated by architecture between building interior and urban interior. The paper discusses the society of the continued interiors(building/urban/territorial interiors) that ought to be a fundamental truth in the field of every project which deals with a unit of space. It logically clarifies the society of the interiors, not isolated and blocked off but multilayered and continued. It comes to the conclusion that the territorial interior should be subsumed under the design field and the society of the continued rooms ought to be considered as a united object of space in the fields of interior architecture/design, architecture, landscape, urbanism and countryside/rural planning. Ultimately, it aims at offering a departing point of discourse and a theoretical foundation for the future studies on urban interior and territorial interior.

  • 현재 우리나라 간선도로의 서비스수준(LOS)은 차량의 평균통행속도를 기준으로 평가되어지고 있다. 이는 도로의 혼잡도 만을 기준으로 적용한 것으로 교통안전측면이 고려되지 않은 것이 현실이다. 합리적인 도로 설계와 운영을 위한 평가 지표라면 도로 이용자에게 영향을 미치는 제반 인자들을 보다 포괄적으로 포함할 수 있어야 한다. 교통안전과 소통측면을 총괄할 수 있는 변수로 사용자비용 개념을 적용하여 간선도로 평가방법을 모색하고자 한다. 사용자 비용을 효과척도로 하는 간선도로 평가도 가능하다는 것을 본 연구를 통해 알 수 있었다. 또한, 본 연구의 사용자 비용에 의해 평가된 간선도로 서비스 수준과 도로용량편람의 평균통행속도에 의해 평가된 간선도로 서비스 수준을 비교 분석하여 종합적인 서비스 수준 분석방법 여부를 가릴 수 있을 것이다. 이로서, 안전과 소통 측면을 모두 고려한 간선도로 평가가 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구는 최근에 높아지고 있는 도시농업 요구에 건축, 도시분야가 빠르게 대응하기 위해서 법제도적 장치로서 기존에 활용도가 높은 생태면적률의 개선에 주목한 연구이다. 기존의 생태면적률은 여러 작물생장조건 중 토심과 투수만을 다룬 지표로 조경식재 등의 관리에는 활용될 수 있으나 도시농업의 주요요소인 작물을 다루기에는 부족한 점이 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 가설을 증명하고 그 개선의 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 했다. 본 연구를 통해서 실제로 생태면적률 지표만으로 작물생장까지를 다루기에는 한계가 있음을 밝힐 수 있었다. 또한 실제 단지계획상에서의 문제점을 도출할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 생태면적률에 빠져 있는 작물생장 조건 중 가장 중요한 일조를 중심으로 생태면적률 개선의 가능성 및 개선 방향을 타진했다는 점에서 도시농업 활성화를 위한 기초 연구를 수행했다는 점에서 의의를 지닌다.

의식조사를 통한 이용자 중심의 도시공원 조성방안 연구 - 잔디·녹지공간을 중심으로 - (A Study on the User-driven Urban Park Development Plan Awareness Survey - Focusing on Lawns·Grass Area -)

  • This study aims to analyze the current situation of and issues in the structure of urban neighborhood parks and park facility installation in cities in Gyeonggi-do. Then, based on its findings, plans to improve the space structure of the parks were examined and suggested to raise the city environment improvement function and green area base function of urban parks and fully satisfy users' needs for pleasant rest, recreation and cultural activities. The findings showed that, within parks, the area of grass where access was restricted reached about 24.4% in average. In other words, only 75.6% of total park area could be freely used by park visitors. As for an improvement plan, the grass area where access is limited may be converted into a gras area that can be freely used to raise the park use area, which currently stands only at 75.6%, to 100%. The result of cross analysis through Chi-Square Test regarding lawn use as well as regarding (dis)agreement with reduction of lawn, based on the investigation of cognition, showed a significant agreement of park users with reduction of green areas. Therefore it is considered that lawn space must be reduced according the result of the analysis, to set up plans for facility space that would meet the desires of users. The analysis of user behaviors revealed that many of them used square spaces and walks; therefore it is considered that re-structuring of space is necessary according to local characteristics. This study also made some policy suggestion. urban parks must be a base of city green areas to counter climate changes. When developing a park creation plan, a user demand survey must be conducted in advance. In addition. grass construction methods should be improved to tolerate foot pressure.

재개발임대아파트의 주거수준 향상을 위한 제도개선방안 연구 (A Study on the improvement of house quality : Case study of Public rental house in Urban Renewal)

  • The important goal of urban renewal is not to reform only Physical environment but to improve people' life quality. people who have been lived in urban renewal area are grouped to owner and tenant. owner of land or house has substituent right but tenant has only house-moving money or rental house by urban renewal. But rental house condition is not good to tenant because tenant has large family, low-income and low grade and it is essential to provide rental house for low-income class and it is worth to analyze tenant house problem The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of public rental house and to presents solutions. The study was done in following process. First, the literatures on this subject were investigated to seek the problems of public rental house. Second, Survey were done on the staff, who works in the cooperative housing redevelopment and whose jobs are officer, consultant, real estate introducer and designer, to seek problems and solution of public rntal house. survey which is made by three group. one group is made by people who already lived in tenant APT, second group is made by people who are waiting for moving in tenant APT. Third group is made by specialist who has many experience-more than 3years- to urban renewal. Third, the Correlation Analysis was used to analyze the relation between the Area and dwelling satisfaction. Fourth, tenant policy' altenative is presented to solve tenant APT' problem which is analyzed by this study The results are as follows : First, tenant APT' size Which is regulated to 30-$45m^{2}$ is enlarged to more than $45m^{2}$ because tenant family is made up averagely of 4.8 persons. Second, tenant APT' rental cost is reduced to 100 thousand won. Third tenant APT' arrangement is divided from owner because tenant and owner want to live in group by group. Fourth, tenant house type is changed to various house type because tenant is not familiar with APT

유비쿼터스도시종합계획과 유비쿼터스도시계획 비교 연구 -U-서비스 계획을 중심으로- (A Comparative Study between Ubiquitous City Comprehensive Plan and Ubiquitous City Plan - Focusing on U-Service Plan)

  • 최근 U-City 계획을 수립한 지자체의 U-서비스는 시설 및 도시 관리 위주의 서비스로 구현되고 있으며, 시민 맞춤형 U-서비스는 계획에만 그치고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 U-City 종합계획과 U-City 계획의 U-서비스 내용을 네트워크 텍스트 분석과 단어 빈도 분석을 통해 비교 검토하여 향후 시민 맞춤형 U-서비스 제공을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다. 제1, 2차 U-City 종합계획과 4개 지방자치단체의 U-City 계획 중 U-서비스 계획 내용을 추출하여 주요 단어들을 산출하였고, 도출된 단어를 통해 네트워크 텍스트 분석과 단어 빈도 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 향후 U-City 종합계획에서는 지자체의 특색에 따른 서비스 추가와 정책 재정 지원 및 시민의 필요사항을 반영하여 다양한 분야의 시민 맞춤형 U-서비스 개발과 같은 시사점을 도출하였으며, 이를 통해 U-City에 대한 시민들의 인식 또한 증가될 것으로 기대할 수 있다.

How to Increase the Supply of Rental Housing through Urban Regeneration Program in Korea

  • The authors derived rental housing policy measures that are appropriate for the current conditions of Korean housing supply and demand based on the confirmation of the issues of Korean rental housing system and reviewing implications from review of cases of foreign countries and these measures can be categorized into linkage with the urban regeneration and multi-functional development, acquisition of financial resources, operational management, policy and institutional aspects. For the expansion of supply of rental housing, it is essential to link the rental housing policy with urban regeneration. To pursue regeneration of underdeveloped areas and expansion of supply of rental housing in line with urban regeneration, more development sites should be added. Further, the rental home policy must be integrated into a new paradigm that includes securing commercial viability and providing various residential conveniences through multi-functional development. In addition, diversification of developers of real estates turning away from the existing framework of policy that has been focused only on the state-led housing supply so that local governments and private sector players can take part in. Next, new options for funding the supply of rental housing must be sought. First, raising financial resources sequentially through cyclical development approach could be considered. Or, various funding schemes including utilizing Tax-increment financing (TIF) based on the local tax revenues that will be accrued after the development projects and supply of rental housing. Or there should be various schemes to raise funds including utilization of TIFs that are based on the revenues that will be realized after the development projects and supply of rental housing, or utilizing REITs where funds can be provided through private sector investments. Also, getting out from the planning practice that focused only on physical expansion of supply of rental housing, continual operational management must be performed even after the development. These activities must be supported through establishment of control tower at the national level and continuous attention must be paid even after the development by developing specialized operational management companies that are led by private sector players. Finally, in addition to the hardware support that is focused on the public rental housing only, software support such as conditional provision of housing voucher or tax exemption for low-income classes should be provided, too. In other words, a shift from policies that are supplier-centric to ones that are customer-centric must take place.

서울 다이나믹스 - 청계천 시점부 광장 설계 - (Seoul Dynamics - Cheonggyecheon Threshold Plaza Design -)

  • The process of designing Cheonggyecheon Entrance Plaza began with researching four keywords: plaza, restoration. modernity and icon. The outcome of the research was reinterpreted into and informed the design. An urban plaza must not only be a stage for civic life but should also be a portrait of the city to which it belongs. Many Korean plazas, however, are treated as if they are parks. Yeouido Park, which was originally a vast urban void, and Seoul Plaza, recently paved with grass, are good example. The strong 'green myth' can hinder socio-political activities. Cheonggyecheon cannot be said to have been 'restored', since it is still disconnected from its origin and upper streams, and the water is circulated by electricity. So it is better understood as an artificial urban waterfront, rather than an ecologically restored stream. This fact might diminish its ecological value, but not its recreational one. The entrance plaza therefore should reflect that the new stream brings back an 'experience', not only water itself. At the same time, the catch phrase of this restoration project was 'post-modern'. The demolished Cheonggye Expressway represents the 'economy drive' of the 1970s, so the newly opened Cheonggyecheon serves as a perfect counterpart to it. But modernity in Korea is the spirit that made many of the good things, not only its shortcomings, we have now. And from the philosophy of this restoration project, we can see that it is still an ongoing attitude in a way. Remnant of Cheonggye Expressway can evoke our nostalgia for the era. There are plenty of symbols in Seoul, both as architecture and objects. But none of them provide citizens with experience, other than the experience of looking at them. Cheonggyecheon Entrance Plaza is a good place to serve as an icon for a dynamic Seoul. From the research, the designer concluded that this plaza should commemorate the incomparable horizontal experience of Cheonggyecheon and the old expressway, amid the vertical metropolis. The Pedestrian Sculpture, which people can stroll on and look out over Cheonggyecheon, is to be made of steel cladding with a core structure and represents the dynamism of the stream, Seoul and contemporary Korea. The choice of material and the steel structure are also ways of creating the icon. The Water Plaza, the space underneath the ramp, will accommodate people and their urban activities, providing an opportunity to play with water. The Waterblades will be a device for the dramatic beginning of the stream, simultaneously camouflaging ugly openings in the outlets. The Wall of Archaeology is to be made with pre-fab resin blocks, translucent enough so that people can see through any archaeological findings of the site. The strong water-resistant character of resin makes the wall steady throughout the flood season as well. Cheonggyecheon restoration project is an effort to combine contemporary urban demand with the once-existing physicality by evoking our nostalgia for it. The project itself shows many socio-political issues of present-day Korea. The entrance plaza design thus is focused on suggesting an icon for the metropolis, simultaneously celebrating the stream itself. Within this space, people will be exposed to a unique experience that any 'green myth' cannot offer.

지역 내 문화체육자원이 도시성장에 미치는 영향 연구 (The Effects of Local Cultural and Sports Resources on Urban Growth)

  • 최근 높아진 삶의 질에 대한 사회적 인식으로 여가에 대한 관심이 늘어나고 있다. 이에 따라 문화와 체육과 관련된 다양한 자원을 통해 해당 도시를 성장시키고자 하는 정책적 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 시점에서 지역 내 문화체육자원이 도시성장에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 이를 통한 정책적 방향을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 본 연구는 전국 228개 시군구를 대상으로 문화체육자원을 중심으로 사회 교통 공간성격의 범주에 포함되는 도시의 다양한 개별자원 지표를 이용해 지역의 인구, 산업, 재정측면의 성장에 있어서의 영향관계를 준로그 다중회귀분석을 사용해 파악하였다. 분석 결과, 문화체육자원을 포함한 다양한 지역 내 자원들은 해당 도시의 성장에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 인구성장 측면에서는 공공체육시설 및 프로스포츠시설의 확충을, 산업성장 측면에서는 프로스포츠시설의 유치를 통한 지역 내 소비증가를, 재정건전성 측면에서는 연관산업에 대한 파급효과가 큰 프로스포츠시설 유치를 적극적으로 고려할 필요가 있다는 결과를 도출하였다. 이러한 결론을 통해 본 연구는 생활체육을 바탕으로 한 삶의 질 환경 조성 및 산업기반으로서의 문화스포츠 기반조성은 도시성장에 있어 중요하며, 이러한 자원을 활용한 도시성장 정책은 차세대 전략으로 지방정부가 관심을 가질만한 충분한 가능성이 있음을 확인하였다.

도시에서 다양한 토양의 물리화학적 특성과 미생물 활성 (Physicochemical Characteristics and Microbial Activity in the Various Urban Soils)

  • 도시에서 토양을 보존하고 합리적으로 이용하기 위하여 도시 토양을 과학적으로 이해하는 것이 필요하지만 아직까지 이처럼 과도하게 관리되고 교란된 토양의 특성에 대하여 집중적으로 연구되지 않았다. 본 연구에서 조사된 인천의 산림, 잔디밭, 가로수, 나지 및 포장 밑 토양에서 답압에 의한 견밀화에 의하여 토양 가밀도가 높았다. 또한 다양한 도시 토양에서 수분함량은 전원지 산림 토양에 비하여 적었고 지온은 높았다. 화학적으로는 도시 토양에서 pH가 중성에 가깝고 유기물 함량이 적었다. 도시 토양의 총세균수는 전원지 산림 토양의 단지 5∼50% 수준이었다. 단계식 다중회귀분석의 결과, 토양 유기물함량이 총세균수에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요인으로서 선정되었다. 대부분의 도시 토양에서 탈수소효소 활성도는 전원지 산림 토양과 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 아스팔트 포장 밑 토양에서는 낮았다 그러므로 견밀한 도시 토양에서 낮은 유기물함량이 물질 순환에 관여하는 미생물 수에 악영향을 미친다고 판단되었다.
