TPR-Tree를 위한 이동 점의 묶음 갱신 (Bulk Updating Moving Points for the TPR-tree)

  • Assisted by high technologies of information and communication in storing and collecting moving object information, many applications have been developing technical methods to exploit databases of moving objects effectively and variously. Among them, today, Current and Anticipated Future Position Indexing methods manage current positions of moving objects in order to anticipate future positions of them or more complex future queries. They, however, strongly demand update performance as fast enough to guarantee certainty of queries as possible. In this paper, we propose a new indexing mettled derived from the TPR-tree that should has update performance considerably improved, we named it BUR-tree. In our method, index structure can be inserted, deleted, and updated with a number (or bulk) of objects simultaneously rather than one object at a time as in conventional methods. This method is intended to be applied to a traffic network in which vast number of objects, such as cars, pedestrians, moves continuously.

  • 우리나라에서는 1995년부터 국가지리정보체계(NGIS)구축 기본계획을 수립하여 건설교통부, 정보통신부, 과학기술부 및 행정자치부 등 범국가적으로 2000년까지 제 1단계 사업을 마쳤으며, 2001년부터 제 2단계 사업을 추진 중에 있다. 하지만 국가지형 및 시설물 등이 하루가 다르게 변화하는 정보화 사회에서 다양한 객체에 대한 위치 및 속성정보의 획득, 저장, 관리, 활용을 위한 신속한 수치지도 수정갱신이 요구된다. 또한 도로시설물을 비롯한 다양한 지형지물정보는 공간정보를 다루는 도시, 교통, 물류, 환경 및 군사 분야 등 다양한 분야에서 의사결정 및 계획에 필수적으로 요구되는 정보이고 이와 같은 정보는 신속하고 정확하게 취득되어야 하며, 경제적이며, 효율적으로 정보를 획득하는 신기술을 적용한 작업방법론이 필요하다. 현재 국내에서도 신기술인 "차량탑재 모바일매핑 시스템(Mobile Mapping System : GPS-Van) 개발이 완료되었고, 이를 활용한 각종 지형공간정보의 수정 갱신 작업이 이루어지고 있기 때문에 이를 활용한 수치지도 수정갱신의 가능성에 대한 검토와 방법론에 대한 정립이 요구되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내에서 개발된 신기술인 GPS-Van을 이용한 수치지도 수정갱신을 위한 정확도 분석 및 오차의 영향 분석을 통하여 보다 높은 정밀도의 도로기반 수치지도 수정 갱신의 가능성 및 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 신문(新聞)은 정보원(情報源)으로서 이용도(利用度)가 높다. 각 신문사의 CTS의 도입으로 인하여 신문기사 데이터베이스화(化)가 촉진되어 상용(商用)으로 제공 서비스되는 신문기사의 데이터베이스도 많아졌다. 일본(日本)에서 이용되는 일본과 외국의 주된 신문기사 데이터베이스에 관하여 다음 사항(事項)을 해설하였다. 1) 수록기간, 갱신빈도, 타임 래그, 수록내용, 검색어, 출력 가능한 정보 등 데이터베이스의 특징, 2) 이용시(利用時)의 유의사항, 3) 기업조사, 업계 동향조사 등 조사 목적별의 이용 패턴 등이다. 이러한 데이터베이스는 전자정보의 형태로 이용이 가능하며, 장래에는 사내(社內)의 LAN과 결합하여 이용되리라고 예측된다.

Novel Push-Front Fibonacci Windows Model for Finding Emerging Patterns with Better Completeness and Accuracy

  • To find the emerging patterns (EPs) in streaming transaction data, the streaming is first divided into some time windows containing a number of transactions. Itemsets are generated from transactions in each window, and then the emergence of itemsets is evaluated between two windows. In the tilted-time windows model (TTWM), it is assumed that people need support data with finer accuracy from the most recent windows, while accepting coarser accuracy from older windows. Therefore, a limited array's elements are used to maintain all support data in a way that condenses old windows by merging them inside one element. The capacity of elements that accommodates the windows inside is modeled using a particular number sequence. However, in a stream, as new data arrives, the current array updating mechanisms lead to many null elements in the array and cause data incompleteness and inaccuracy problems. Two models derived from TTWM, logarithmic TTWM and Fibonacci windows model, also inherit the same problems. This article proposes a novel push-front Fibonacci windows model as a solution, and experiments are conducted to demonstrate its superiority in finding more EPs compared to other models.

A consistent FEM-Vlasov model for hyperbolic cooling towers on layered soil under unsymmetrical wind load

  • In this paper, the analysis of hyperbolic cooling tower on elastic subsoil exposed to unsymmetrical wind loading is presented. Modified Vlasov foundation model is used to determine the soil parameters as a function of vertical deformation profile within subsoil. The iterative parameter updating procedure involves the use of Open Application Programming Interface (OAPI) feature of SAP2000 to provide two way data flow during execution. A computing tool coded in MATLAB employing OAPI is used to perform the analysis of hyperbolic cooling tower with supporting columns over a hollow annular raft founded on elastic subsoil. The analysis of such complex soil-structure system is investigated under self-weight and unsymmetrical wind load. The response of the cooling tower on elastic subsoil is compared with that of a tower that its supporting raft foundation is treated as fixed at the base. The results show that the effect of subsoil on the behavior of cooling tower is considerable at the top and bottom of the wall as well as supporting columns and raft foundation. The application of a full-size cooling tower has demonstrated that the procedure is simple, fast and can easily be implemented in practice.

측정된 점데이터 기반 삼각형망 곡면 메쉬 모델의 국부적 자동 수정 (Automatic Local Update of Triangular Mesh Models Based on Measurement Point Clouds)

  • Design changes for an original surface model are frequently required in a manufacturing area: for example, when the physical parts are modified or when the parts are partially manufactured from analogous shapes. In this case, an efficient 3D model updating method by locally adding scan data for the modified area is highly desirable. For this purpose, this paper presents a new procedure to update an initial model that is composed of combinatorial triangular facets based on a set of locally added point data. The initial surface model is first created from the initial point set by Tight Cocone, which is a water-tight surface reconstructor; and then the point cloud data for the updates is locally added onto the initial model maintaining the same coordinate system. In order to update the initial model, the special region on the initial surface that needs to be updated is recognized through the detection of the overlapping area between the initial model and the boundary of the newly added point cloud. After that, the initial surface model is eventually updated to the final output by replacing the recognized region with the newly added point cloud. The proposed method has been implemented and tested with several examples. This algorithm will be practically useful to modify the surface model with physical part changes and free-form surface design.

Parameter Identification of 3R-C Equivalent Circuit Model Based on Full Life Cycle Database

  • The energy density, power density and ohm resistance of battery change significantly as results of battery aging, which lead to decrease in the accuracy of the equivalent model. A parameter identification method of the equivale6nt circuit model with 3 R-C branches based on the test database of battery life cycle is proposed in this paper. This database is built on the basis of experiments such as updating of available capacity, charging and discharging tests at different rates and relaxation characteristics tests. It can realize regular update and calibration of key parameters like SOH, so as to ensure the reliability of parameters identified. Taking SOH, SOC and T as independent variables, lookup table method is adopted to set initial value for the parameter matrix. Meanwhile, in order to ensure the validity of the model, the least square method based on variable forgetting factor is adopted for optimizing to complete the identification of equivalent model parameters. By comparing the simulation data with measured data for charging and discharging experiments of Li-ion battery, the effectiveness of the full life cycle database and the model are verified.

Short-term Wind Power Prediction Based on Empirical Mode Decomposition and Improved Extreme Learning Machine

  • For the safe and stable operation of the power system, accurate wind power prediction is of great significance. A wind power prediction method based on empirical mode decomposition and improved extreme learning machine is proposed in this paper. Firstly, wind power time series is decomposed into several components with different frequency by empirical mode decomposition, which can reduce the non-stationary of time series. The components after decomposing remove the long correlation and promote the different local characteristics of original wind power time series. Secondly, an improved extreme learning machine prediction model is introduced to overcome the sample data updating disadvantages of standard extreme learning machine. Different improved extreme learning machine prediction model of each component is established. Finally, the prediction value of each component is superimposed to obtain the final result. Compared with other prediction models, the simulation results demonstrate that the proposed prediction method has better prediction accuracy for wind power.

  • 본 연구에서는 웹, IPTV 등의 콘텐츠 유통망에서의 개인화 추천서비스를 위하여 이용자의 콘텐츠 이용행위와 콘텐츠의 위치정보를 활용한 추천방법을 제안하고 있다. 추천방법의 성능향상을 위하여 이용자 및 콘텐츠 프로파일 생성방법과 함께, 이용자의 콘텐츠 이용행위를 암묵적 이용자 피드백으로서 학습과정에 적용하여 이용자 선호도를 분석하였다. 학습과정에서의 이용자 선호도 분석을 위하여 협업여과추천방법 및 내용기반추천 방법을 적용하였다. 또한 보다 정확한 추천을 위한 최종 콘텐츠 추천을 위하여 웹사이트 상의 콘텐츠에 대한 위치정보를 활용한 추천방법을 제안하고 있다. 이를 통하여 보다 효율적이고 정확한 추천 서비스의 제공이 가능할 수 있다.

Fault Diagnosis Method Based on High Precision CRPF under Complex Noise Environment

  • In order to solve the problem of low tracking accuracy caused by complex noise in the fault diagnosis of complex nonlinear system, a fault diagnosis method of high precision cost reference particle filter (CRPF) is proposed. By optimizing the low confidence particles to replace the resampling process, this paper improved the problem of sample impoverishment caused by the sample updating based on risk and cost of CRPF algorithm. This paper attempts to improve the accuracy of state estimation from the essential level of obtaining samples. Then, we study the correlation between the current observation value and the prior state. By adjusting the density variance of state transitions adaptively, the adaptive ability of the algorithm to the complex noises can be enhanced, which is expected to improve the accuracy of fault state tracking. Through the simulation analysis of a fuel unit fault diagnosis, the results show that the accuracy of the algorithm has been improved obviously under the background of complex noise.
