외국인 건설근로자의 불안전한 행동에 관한 분석 (Analysis on Unsafe Act of Foreign Construction Laborers)

  • According to increase of foreign laborers in domestic, their safety accident is continuously increasing. The purpose of this paper is to draw improvement priority from factors of unsafe act of foreign laborers in domestic. Assessment on each data was performed by Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) based on safety accident statistics of KOSHA. The result showed that there was required urgent improvement of five factors. The outcome of this study can be utilized in construction safety training and management.

  • The unsafe act and unsafe condition is due to human error that experience 80% of safety accidents. Accordingly, one of the most important issues to reduce industrial accidents as a whole, is how to reduce the accident rate by the human error. Therefore, this paper describes the development of quantitative risk assessment (QRA) model by ergonomics for reform of safety consciousness on the semiconductor industry. Unconsciousness, disregard, ignorance, recklessness, and stress among the human factors are selected for conscious reform. Finally, the QRA model is efficiently expected to contribute towards improving continuous self-safety and health and safety culture campaign in order to prevent industrial accidents.

  • The Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS) is a general human error framework originally developed and tested within the U.S. military as a tool for investigating and analyzing the human causes of aviation accidents. Based upon Reason's (1990) model of latent and active failures, HFACS addresses human error at all levels of the system, including the condition of aircrew and organizational factors. As a result, this study aims to examine the influence between the latent conditions based on HFACS. This study seeks to verify the factors of "Organizational Influence" effecting the "Precondition for Unsafe Acts" of HFACS. The results of empirical analysis demonstrated that the organizational influence had a positive influence on precondition for unsafe act, especially the "Organizational Climate" of organizational influence had even greater influence on precondition for unsafe acts.

The Identification of Human Unsafe Acts in Maritime Accidents with Grey Relational Analysis

  • It is well known that human errors is involved in most of maritime accidents. For the purpose of reducing the influence of human elements on maritime activities, it is necessary to identify the human unsafe acts in those activities. The commonly used methods in identification of human unsafe acts are maritime accident statistics or case analysis. With the statistics data, people could roughly identify what kinds of unsafe acts or human errors have played active role in the accident, however, they often neglected some active unsafe acts while overestimated some mini-unsafe acts because of the inherent shortcoming of the methods. There should be some more accurate approaches for human error identification in maritime accidents. In this paper, the application of technique called grey relational analysis (GRA) into the identification of human unsafe acts is presented. GRA is used to examine the extent of connections between two digits by applying the, methodology of departing and scattering measurement to actual distance measurement. Based on the statistics data of maritime accidents occurred in Chinese waters in last 10years, the relationship between the happening times of maritime accidents and that of unsafe acts are established with GRA. In accordance with the value of grey relational grade, the identified main human unsafe acts involved in maritime accidents are ranked in following orders: improper lookout, improper use of radar and equivalent equipment, error of judgment, act not in time, improper communication, improper shiphandling, use of unsafe speed, violating the rule and ignorance of good seamanship. The result shows that GRA is an effective and practical technique in improving the accuracy of human unsafe acts identification.

국내 건설현장 근로자의 불안전한 행동 분석 (The Analysis on the Unsafe Acts of Laborers at Domestic Construction Sites)

  • According to the increase of foreign laborers at domestic construction sites, it's necessary to research in terms of the unsafe acts of both Korean and foreign laborers in order to prevent construction disasters. The objective of this study is to clarify the characteristics and the improvement priority of the unsafe acts using IPA(Importance-Performance Analysis). The result of this study showed which items of unsafe acts are identify difference between Korean and foreign laborers. Moreover, the result of IPA also showed items of unsafe acts that needed the immediate improvement for each one. Especially there are two items, i.e. equipment malfunction and wrong handling of hand tools, which both Korean and foreign laborers think simultaneous those needs improvement. The results can be utilized to plan and to improve the safety management and education at a site considering the characteristics of foreign laborers.

해안오염방제 자원봉사자에 대한 실용적인 교육제도 연구 (A Study on Practical Education System for Coastal Pollution Control Volunteers)

  • 연구목적: 2007년 발생한 태안 기름유출사고는 우리에게 커다란 교훈을 주었으며 사회적 재난의 대표적 사례이다. 자원봉사자의 눈부신 헌신과 봉사를 통해 극복했다. 그러나 자원봉사 이면에는 유출된 기름에 직간접적으로 노출되어 두통 등 건강장해와 안전사고가 발생하였다. 안전사고는 불안전한 행동에 기인하였고, 불안전한 행동은 안전의식의 결여 또는 무지에서 왔다. 자원봉사자에 대한 체계적인 안전의식 고취를 위한 교육훈련 프로그램을 산업안전보건법과 연계하여 찾고자 한다. 연구방법: 산업안전보건법과 해안방제와 관련한 법률 그리고 과년도 산업재해통계의 불안전 행동 요인을 중심으로 파악하였다. 연구결과: 해안방제에 투입되는 자원봉사자에 대하여 실시하여야 할 교육내용과 교육 시간을 산업안전보건법의 근로자와 대비하여 제시하였다. 결론: 자원봉사자와 자원봉사 관리자에 대한 안전보건교육은 안전의식과 직결하고 불안전한 행동을 방지할 수 있다.

건설근로자가 인식하는 안전의식이 불안전한 행동에 미치는 영향: 직무만족의 매개효과와 조절후원인식의 조절효과 (The Effect of Safety Awareness Perceived by Construction Workers on Unsafe Act: Mediation Effect of Job Satisfaction and the Adjustment Effect of Perceived Organizational Support)

  • 본 연구는 건설근로자들의 불안전한 행동을 감소시키는 방안으로 건설근로자들이 인식하는 안전의식이 불안전한 행동에 미치는 영향에 대하여 직무만족의 매개효과와 조직후원인식의 조절효과를 실증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 2019년 7월1일부터 7월20일까지 전국 23개 건설현장 근로자를 대상으로 439명의 설문지를 받아 데이터 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 건설근로자가 지각하는 안전의식은 직무만족에 직접적으로 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 건설근로자가 인식하는 직무만족은 불안전행동에 직접적으로 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 건설근로자가 인식하는 안전의식과 불안전행동의 관계에서 직무만족을 매개로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 안전의식과 직무만족의 관계에서 조직후원인식의 조절효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 건설근로자의 불안전한 행동을 감소시키는 방안으로 건설근로자들이 인식하는 안전의식이 직무만족을 매개로하여 불안전한 행동에 미치는 영향관계가 검증되었고, 구성원들이 조직후원인식을 얼마나 인식하는지에 따라 직무만족에 영향을 미치는지 통계적으로 검증되었다. 본 연구는 건설현장에서 근로자들이 불안전한 행동을 예방하기 위해서는 근로자들이 인식하는 안전의식과 직무만족이 향상에 따라 안전행동이 증가하고 불안전행동의 감소된 다는 것을 의미하고 있다.

서울·경인지역 일부 외국인 근로자들의 산업재해에 관한 통계조사 (A Statistical Study on Industrial Accidents in Migrant Workers in Seoul and Kyungin Area)

  • In order to obtain basic reference information for the establishment of effective industrial safety programmes in migrant workers who live in Seoul and Kyungin Area, accident causes were investigated among 210 injured workers. The data were analyzed according to the USA Standards Institute and International Labour Organization method. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The major distribution of national were mostly from china(82.9%), ages are mostly between 30 and 40 years old(32%), and males are more than females, and mostly married. 2. The parts of body most frequently injured were hand and finger, foot and toe, which were 55.3% of total 210 cases. 3. According to the accident type, caught in, under or between were most frequently observed, 40.2% of the total number of injuries. 4. The most responsible source of injuries were power machine, others, moving machine and tool, building construction. 5. According to the unsafe acts, carelessness and unsafety information were most frequently observed, 66.7% of the total number of injuries. 6. There were significantly difference(p<0.05), between type of accident and source of injury, and between working period and unsafe act.

건설현장 사망사고 발생원인과 책임전가의식 간의 관계 분석 (Analysis of Relationship between Fatal Accidents Causes and Consciousness of Scapegoatism in Construction Site)

  • The number of accidents is raising every year and severity is also increasing. A lot of studies are interested in the leading indicator such as safety culture or safety audit to reduce accidents. In particular, the studies on safety awareness are actively conducted. However, these studies showed that there was consciousness of scapegoatism which to pass responsibility of accident causes to others regardless of safety awareness. It means that there are probability about overestimating and making light of unsafe condition and act which have to manage and control. Eventually, the direct causes which lead to the fatal accident may be consistently arisen. Nevertheless, researches about consciousness of scapegoatism are shortage. Therefore, this study proposed the means to investigate the relationship between consciousness of scapegoatism and accidents through report from KOSHA and conducts the survey with suggested means. This paper will contribute to prevent accidents by identifying relationship between consciousness of scapegoatism and accidents.

운전자의 불안전한 행위와 성격유형과의 상호관계에 관한 연구 (Correlation between Driver's Unsafe Acts and Personality Types)

  • The goal of this study is to find out correlation between Driver's Unsafe acts(errors and violations) and Personality types. The experiment was performed on 180 subjects, men and women between 20's and 60's having experience in driving for 6 months at least. Personality types of the subjects were classified by MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) GS type and Driver's unsafe acts were measured by KDBQ(Korean Driver Behavior Questionnaire) based on Reason's DBQ(Driver Behavior Questionnaire). The result of experiment showed several facts about the relation. The first is that the drivers of P (Perceiving) type commit more violations and slips than drivers of J(Judging) type. The second is that in the comparison among attitude indexes(EP, EJ, IP, IJ) the drivers of EP(Extroversions - Perceiving) commit more violations than other type drivers. Finally, only men of P(Perceiving) type commits more violations than men of J(Judging). Based on these facts, it is possible to use Personality types as a device to prevent unsafe acts in various fields for driver selection and accident prevention training classified by Personality types etc.
