  • High efficacy white OLEDs with low voltage, high quantum efficiency and outcoupling fixtures achieve total power efficacies of 89 lm/W to 102 lm/W, operating voltages between 2.8 V and 3.5 V at correlated color temperatures of 2,800 - 3,900 K and color rendering ~70, at 1,000 nits.

  • One method to improve quality before releasing of S/W after development is to enhance the reliability, whose direct methodology is to detect and revise fault through testing. Once the S/W is released because it meets the target reliability, the operational reliability problem arises. It is obvious the operational reliability different from that of testing stage depending on the condition whether it is universal(package) S/W or dedicated S/W. I propose the methodology to calculate operational software reliability of universal and dedicated S/W in this paper.

  • This paper presents a virtual instrumentation (VI) system for on-line monitoring the performance of universal motor. The VI is designed using the graphical programming language LabVIEW and is capable of performing real time measurement functions, including data acquisition, display, and analyses in the time and frequency domains, as well as data archiving. The electrical quantities and the mechanical quantities on the performance of universal motor monitored by the proposed system are reported.

  • The SRGM has been studied under the assumption that S/W reliability can grow as the fault causing failure is removed even during operational phase because the debugging is available. On the other hand, some papers insist on the uniform failure rate during operational phase because the debugging may not be available in case of universal software. The phenomenon, however, has been observed informally many times that the products S/W reliability grows as the time goes by even without any debugging in point of customer view. I propose the simple approaching method to model the S/W reliability phenomenon that the failure rate reduces as time goes on without modifying the existing reliability model in this paper.

  • There are three standards for FIDO1 authentication technology: Universal Second Factor (U2F), Universal Authentication Framework (UAF), and Client to Authenticator Protocols (CTAP). FIDO2 refers to the WebAuthn standard established by W3C for the creation and use of a certificate in a web application that complements the existing CTAP. In Korea, the FIDO certified market is dominated by UAF, which deals with standards for smartphone (Android, iOS) apps owned by the majority of the people. As the market requires certification through FIDO on PCs, FIDO Alliance and W3C established standards that can be certified on the platform-independent Web and published 『Web Authentication: An API for Accessing Public Key Credentials Level 1』 on March 4, 2019. Most PC do not contain biometrics, so they are not being utilized contrary to expectations. In this paper, we intend to present a model that allows login in PC environment through biometric recognition of smartphone and FIDO UAF authentication. We propose a model in which a user requests login from a PC and performs FIDO authentication on a smartphone, and authentication is completed on the PC without any other user's additional gesture.

  • A $\kappa$-side switch box with W terminals on each side is said to be hyper universal, denoted by ($\kappa$, W)-HUSB, if it is routable for any global .outing with density at most W. In [5], we have proposed a switch box design strategy and designed a near optimum (4, W)-HUSB F(W) with 6.W switches. In this paper, we design, analyze and implement an efficient detailed routing algorithm for the S-box F(W). This router. can accommodate all routing requirement topologies.

  • The application of the EGR system is increasing according to the recent trend of conversion to green-ships. EGR blower, one of the core parts of the EGR, consists of aerodynamic system and e-motor and inverter and etc. For the e-motor, a permanent magnet type synchronous motor with high energy density and excellent efficiency is applied recently. Small and medium-sized enterprises trying to develop the e-motors, however, for marine inverters mostly developed by global advanced companies due to the rigid classification certification and technical difficulties. One of disadvantage of universal inverters is that when optimal control fails, it is difficult to find the cause from user's point of view. Therefore, in this study, optimal controllers(Current vector contol and Tracking observer) for SPMSM for EGR blower was designed and verified to analyze the causes of failure of optimal control of universal inverter.
