The present investigation is concerned with the estimation of initial coefficients, Fekete-Szegö inequality, second Hankel determinants, Zalcman functionals and third Hankel determinants for certain subclasses of Sakaguchi type functions defined with subordination in the open unit disc E = {z ∈ ℂ : |z| < 1}. The results derived in this paper will pave the way for the further study in this direction.

In this present work, we inaugurated subclasses of analytic functions which are associated with generalized Mittag Leffler Functions. Inclusion implications and integral preserving properties under the Bernardi integral operator are investigated. Some consequences of these findings are also illustrated.

뉴질랜드의 자생식물인 Brachyglottis monroi와 Trichocolea hatcheri의 에탄올추출물에 대한 생리활성을 조사한 결과, 그람음성균인 Bacillus subtilis (ATCC 19659, 1 mm inhibition zone at $150{\mu}g/disc$)와 피부곰팡이균인 Trichophyton mentagrophytes (ATCC 28185, 6 mm inhibition zone at $150{\mu}g/disc$)에 대한 억제효과가 관찰되었으며, 이들 추출물은 P388 murine leukaemia cells ($IC_{50}$ $23.96{\mu}g/mL$)에서도 세포독성이 나타났다. B. monroi의 에탄올추출물의 항바이러스효과는 T. hatcheri의 에탄올추출물보다 강한 활성이 관찰되었으며, T. hatcheri의 에탄올추출물의 항균효과는 B. monroi의 에탄올추출물보다 강한 활성을 나타났다. 그렇지만 P388 murine leukaemia cells ($IC_{50}>12,500{\mu}g/mL$)에 대한 세포독성은 아주 미미한 것으로 나타났다.

PURPOSE. The objective of this study was to compare the light transmittance of zirconia in different thicknesses using various light curing units. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A total of 21 disc-shaped zirconia specimens (5 mm in diameter) in different thicknesses (0.3, 0.5 and 0.8 mm) were prepared. The light transmittance of the specimens under three different light-curing units (quartz tungsten halogen, light-emitting diodes and plasma arc) was compared by using a hand-held radiometer. Statistical significance was determined using two-way ANOVA (${\alpha}$=.05). RESULTS. ANOVA revealed that thickness of zirconia and light curing unit had significant effects on light transmittance ($P$ <.001). CONCLUSION. Greater thickness of zirconia results in lower light transmittance. Light-emitting diodes light-curing units might be considered as effective as Plasma arc light-curing units or more effective than Quartz-tungsten-halogen light-curing units for polymerization of the resin-based materials.

For a finite subset ${\Lambda}$ of $\mathbb{N}_0{\times}\mathbb{N}_0$, where $\mathbb{N}_0$ is the set of nonnegative integers, we say that a complex data ${\gamma}_{\Lambda}:=\{{\gamma}_{ij}\}_{(ij){\in}{\Lambda}}$ in the unit disc $\mathbf{D}$ of complex numbers has a cyclic subnormal completion if there exists a Hilbert space $\mathcal{H}$ and a cyclic subnormal operator S on $\mathcal{H}$ with a unit cyclic vector $x_0{\in}\mathcal{H}$ such that ${\langle}S^{*i}S^jx_0,x_0{\rangle}={\gamma}_{ij}$ for all $i,j{\in}\mathbb{N}_0$. In this note, we obtain some sufficient conditions for a cyclic subnormal completion of ${\gamma}_{\Lambda}$, where ${\Lambda}$ is a finite subset of $\mathbb{N}_0{\times}\mathbb{N}_0$.

이 연구의 목적은 치면착색제인 10 - 20 mM erythrosine을 광감각제로 사용한 광역동 치료의 항균 효과를 평가하는 것이다. Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacillus casei, Candida albicans를 포함하는 다종 우식원성 세균막을 hydroxyapatite disc에 형성하였다. 광감각제로 20 μM, 10 mM, 20 mM erythrosine을 3분간 적용 후 24초 동안 광조사를 시행하였다. 각 실험군의 Colony-forming unit (CFU)을 측정하고 세균막을 Confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM)을 이용하여 관찰하였다. 10 - 20 mM erythrosine을 광감각제로 사용한 광역동 치료 실험군에서 CFU의 현저한 감소가 관찰되었고, 그 결과는 CLSM 관찰에서도 확인되었다. 이번 연구를 통해 치과 임상에서 사용되는 치면착색제를 광감각제로 이용한 광역동 치료의 높은 항균효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

토양으로부터 분리한 알칼리 내성 및 liner alkylbenzene sulfonate 내성인 lipase 생산균주를 동정하여 Pseudomonas sp. J-19로 명명하였다. 호알칼리성 lipase는 ammonium sulfate 침전, DEAE-Sephadex와 Sephadex G-100 column chromatography로 정제하였고, 정제효소의 비활성도는 35 unit/mg protein, 수율은 17이었다. 정제효소는 polyacrylamide disc gel 전기영동에서 단일 band를 나타내었고, Sephadex G-100 gel filtration과 SDS-polyacrylamide gel 전기영동에 의하여 추정된 분자량은 36,000이었다. 정제효소의 최적 pH는 10.0 최적온도는 30'C이었다. 정제 효소의 활성은 0.1 linear alkylbenzene sulfonate 첨가에 의하여 2배 증가되었고, 0.05 Tide에 의하여 2.5배 증가되었다. 정제효소는 p8.0-10.0, 4'C이하에서 안정하였다.

The study on the wear characteristics of compound layers formed during gaseous nitrocarburising in the medium carbon boron steels and the plain carbon steel has been carried out by using a pin-on-disc type wear test machine under the oil lubricating condition at room temperature and by varying applied loads, sliding speeds and wear distances. Values of friction coefficient measured at the sliding speed of 0.4m/sec under the oil lubricating condition have been shown to decrease considerably with increasing applied load and become gradually a constant value as load is increased to a higher value, showing that the transition load for friction coefficient appears at an applied load of 247.2N. The length and volume wear rates of compound layer have been revealed to relatively constantly increase, also showing that the wear life per unit thickness of compound layer turns out to be superior as porous layer has a denser and thinner appearance. As the sliding speed increases during wear test performed by varying sliding speed at a load of 63.2N under the oil lubricating condition for medium carbon boron steel nitrocarburised in gas atmosphere, the wear rate has been found to increase, the friction coefficient to decrease and the wear life per unit thickness of compound layer to decrease considerably.

Small form factor optical pickup (SFFOP) corresponding to BD specifications is strongly proposed for the next-generation portable storage device. In order to generate SFFOP, small sized optical pickup has been fabricated. We have developed a small sited optical pickup that is called the integrated optical pickup (IOP). The fabrication method of this system is mainly dependant on the use of the wafer based micro fabrication technology, which has been used in MEMS process such as photolithography, reactive ion etching, wafer bonding, and packaging process. This approach has the merits for mass production and high assembling accuracy. In this study, to generate the small sized optical pickup for high recording capacity, IOP corresponding to BD specifications has been designed and developed, including three main parts, 1) design, fabrication and evaluation of objective lens unit, 2) design and fabrication of IOP and 3) evaluation process of FES and TES.

본 논문에서 마이크로프로그램 제어방식을 이용하여 CDP(Compact Disc Player)에서 사용되는 RS 부호(Reed-Solomon code)의 복호기를 설계하였다. 사용한 복호방법은 Newton 항등식들로 부터 얻어진 연립방정식들을 이용하여 오류위치다항식의 계수들을 구하고, C2(외부호)복호에서의 소실데이타 개수를 확인한다. 또한 C2복호에서 소실데이타 값들을 C1(내부호)복호 결과와 신드롬들을 이용하여 구한다. 이와 같은 복호방법을 이용하여 4개의 소실정정까지 할 수 있도록 해서 오류정정능력을 높였다. 설계한 복호기는 오류정정에 필요한 GF(28)상에서 연산을 수행할 수 있는 복호연산기와 프로그램 ROM을 가지고있는 복호제어기 띤 마이크로명령어(microinstruction)들로 구성된다. 마이크로명령어들을 이용하여 RS부호의 복호 알고리즘을 프로그램할 수 있으며, 성능향상이나 다른 용도에 사용하기 위해서는 프로그램 ROM만 바꾸면 가능하므로 간편하다. 본 논문에서 설계한 복호기는 Verilog HDL의 Logic Level Modeling을 이용하여 구현했으며, 설계된 복호기에서 각 마이크로명명령어들은 14비트(=1 word)이고, 프로그램 ROM의 크기는 360 word이다. 또한 C1과 C2를 모두 복호하는데 걸리는 최대시간은 424 clock-cycle이다.
