본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에 기반을 둔 e-러닝 모델을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 대학의 진보된 e-러닝 시스템을 조사 및 분석하였으며, 이를 근간으로 유비쿼터스 환경에 기반을 둔 최적의 e-러닝 모델을 제안하였다. 제안한 모델은 최적의 e-러닝 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어, 그리고 다양한 e-러닝 서비스를 포함하고 있다. 여기에는 출결체크 서비스, 수업운영 서비스, 공용지식 서비스, 성적처리 서비스, 편의시설 서비스, 개인운영 서비스, 신용조회 서비스, 캠퍼스안내 서비스, 강의실운영 서비스 등이 있다. 또한, 실험.실습에 관련된 서비스도 포함하고 있다.

상황인지에 기반한 유비쿼터스 학습서비스 응용모형에 대하여 소개한다. 이동성과 자율성에 기반하여 피학습자에게 WPAN 환경하의 적절한 상황인지 맞춤형 컨텐츠를 제공하고, 학습관리모형을 통해 경험과 선호사항 그리고 후보추천이 서비스제공 시점에 동적으로 재구성되는 서비스 응용 매커니즘을 소개한다. 개방형모형으로써 OSGi 미들웨어를 적용하며, 상황정보 및 프로파일 관리를 위해 메타모형을 통한 동적 재구성 매카니즘이 소개된다.

본 논문은 보건의료서비스 공급을 민간이 주도하고 있는 현실에서 인구가 밀집한 도시 지역 병 의원의 집중과 과잉으로 농촌지역의 효율적인 의료서비스 공급이 절대적으로 부족한 현실을 고려하여 의료서비스의 질적 수준을 높일 수 있는 On-line 의료서비스 공급기반 확충과 저비용-고효율의 의료전달체계를 확립하기 위한 U-healthcare service 모델 연구와 발굴을 제안하고 IT기술을 기반으로 한 의료취약계층에 대한 건강관리 및 치료나 수술 후 질병의 예후관리에 대한 보다 효율적이고 기술 집약적인 의료서비스 제공을 통한 농촌지역 의료서비스 활성화를 제안한다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅이라는 개념이 정보통신 분야의 패러다임으로 자리잡은 지 오래임에도 불구하고 실생활에서 이용 가능한 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 관련 서비스는 극히 적다 U-Messaging 서비스는 카메라가 내장된 모바일 단말기와 무선 인터넷을 활용하여, 캠퍼스 환경이라는 물리적 공간과 센서를 활용함으로써 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 개념을 잘 보여주고 있다. U-Messaging 서비스는 이미지 태그가 부착된 명패와 단말기를 이용하여 방문자의 음성과 문자 메시지를 전달하고 사용자는 나중에 방문기록과 메시지를 조회하도록 해주는 서비스이다. 학생과 일반인을 대상으로 한 사용성 평가결과 서비스에 대한 인지성, 편리성, 유용성 측면에서 만족할 안한 결과가 도출되었다.

IT 기술의 발전으로 전 세계적으로 M2M시장이 급부상 하고 있는 가운데 언제 어디서나 이용할 수 있도록 정보통신기술을 토대로 제공되는 보건의료 서비스인 U-헬스케어 서비스에 대한 관심이 급증하고 있다. 그와 더불어 국내외 적으로 U-헬스케어 시장의 확산에도 불구하고 U-헬스케어 장치에 대한 보안 시스템의 구축은 아직 미흡한 편이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 U-헬스케어 서비스의 새로운 비즈니스 모델과 정보를 주고받는 네트워크상의 문제점과 해결방안을 제시하고자 한다.

최근, 유비쿼터스 홈에서는 유무선 통신 네트워크를 기반으로 가정 내의 다양한 가전기기 및 센서들이 네트워크로 상호 연결되어 다양한 서비스 제공이 가능하며 지능적이고 상황인식에 기반 한 상호 연동을 통하여 사용자의 편의를 극대화 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 센서 네트워크 환경을 기존의 아파트에 도입하여 지능형 주차장과 의료시스템을 연계한 u-아파트를 설계하였다. 지능형 주차장은 주차공간의 효율성 향상을 위한 구체적인 구조도를 설계하였고 의료시스템은 미래의 건강 관리에 대한 설계를 제안하였다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 RFID시스템을 이용하여 주차장, 의료시설을 통합한 u-아파트 설계를 제안한다.

Recently, retail store automation appliance market is changed with traditional POS systems techniques and RFID, radio POS system, and self checkout system, etc. in the foreign advanced distribution industry. Retailers and consumers require convenient POS system which can provide more functions and fast service. These requests bring to rapid evolution of various H/W and S/W corresponding with POS system. In this study with the POS systems and the RFID technology we develop core technology of movable u-POS system based on RFID that can use in large store. So we propose u-Cart system that can alternate the current shopping cart and POS terminal and that provide value added services to customer. As the result we present the configuration of u-Cart terminal device(WMDT : Wireless Mobile Data Terminal) including RFID reader module that can provide various information to consumer and some convenient client applications that are running in WMDT and u-POS administration service module.

Up to now, a lot of houses, roads and other urban facilities have been damaged by natural disasters such as flash floods and landslides. It is reported that the size and frequency of disasters are growing greatly due to global warming. In order to mitigate such disaster, flood forecasting and alerting systems have been developed for the Han river, Geum river, Nak-dong river and Young-san river. These systems, however, do not help small municipal departments cope with the threat of flood. In this study, a real-time urban flood forecasting service (U-FFS) is developed for ubiquitous computing city which includes small river basins. A test bed is deployed at Tan-cheon in Gyeonggido to verify U-FFS. It is found that U-FFS can forecast the water level of outlet of river basin and provide real-time data through internet during heavy rain. Furthermore, it is expected that U-FFS presented in this study can be applied to ubiquitous computing city (u-City) and/or other cities which have suffered from flood damage for a long time.

최근 웰빙, 건강 등을 추구하는 보건의료분야에 대한 관심이 증가하면서, 언제, 어디서나 자신의 건강에 대한 상태를 모니터링 할 수 있도록 가능하게 하는 u-Healthcare 서비스가 주목받고 있다. 기존의 의료정보시스템은 측정값의 저장과 단순 디스플레이만이 지원되는 구조로 구성되어 있으나, 이러한 의료정보시스템에서 사용자가 편리하고 효율적인 상태확인이나 진단을 하기 위해서는 원하는 의료정보를 빠르고 정확하게 제공해주도록 원활한 상호 작용을 해야 할 필요성이 있다. 이와 관련하여 본 연구결과는 u-Healthcare의 다양한 서비스에서 보다 사용자 친화적(user-friendly)이면서도 더 나은 정보변별력을 제공하는 Visualization Engine에 대한 개발적 내용을 제시하였다.

In order to implement e-trade infrastructure through the radical innovation of trade process, e-trade platform which is called 'uTradehub' has been developed for three years. After pilot operation of this platform in 2007, the formal service of e-trade such as logistics, customs and foreign exchanges had been provided in 2008. However, the usage of e-Trade platform is not the level of users' satisfaction because trade-related communities have not actively participated into e-trade platform and several functions with users requirements are necessary to develop additionally. In this regard, there are strong demands to suggest some strategies for application and usage proliferation of e-trade platform. Therefore, this paper would like to evaluate the current status of e-trade platform service and usage by the theoretical consideration of preceding researches and practical analysis of statistical data. Then, it will explore several service improvement ideas in terms of system supplementation and integration, electronic documents standardization, radical change of using fee, global connection, user oriented education and advertisement.
