The reception quality of broadcasting in car radio system may become poor due to the noise such as week signal strength, multipath, Adjacent Channel and so on. To improve this, some european nations and U.S. serve RDS(Radio Data System) on FM radio. AF(Alternative Frequency) and PI(Programme Identification) code contained information in RDS data are used to switch to the broadcasting having the best reception quality. There are many techniques and studies of maintaining the best reception quality. But many previous techniques are no longer the best way because RF chips are improved every year and noise components can be distinguished in detail. So this research will suggest the best switching technique to maintain the best reception quality.

Modern society is deepening people's interest in healthy life. Therefore, the development of research and service related to health is proceeding. In the IT field, healthcare systems using information in the medical field are being developed. Most systems utilize PC and smart TV or use smart phones to provide users with information and movement-related information in the healthcare field. However, algorithms and systems that accurately analyze user 's body information are in development stage. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a system that provides information to the user by analyzing the BMI (Body Mass Index) index and BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) of the user. The information provided to the user suggests appropriate exercise intensity, appropriate level of exercise, and fitness equipment that are appropriate for the user's body, unlike conventional fitness systems that detect motion and show the calories consumed. In addition, the user can perform efficient exercise based on the recommended information.

Negligent accidents are often caused by risk factors of working environment at most construction sites and construction schedules are delayed as the workers' work location and construction progress are not figured out accurately, and this leads to a lot of loss. In this paper, with the object of solving the problems at construction sites, RFID portable device, active tag and wireless RFID reader to provide the status of workers which is based on location are designed in order to send information about the location of workers and work progress in real time to a personal RFID device. Also an application system to monitor workers' approaching to prevent accidents from vehicles and danger zones and to manage the real time location of workers is designed.

This paper measures the effects of the quality of the technology entrepreneurship educating program over participants' satisfaction and referring will. The paper focus on developing the best techno-entrepreneurship educating program alternative at the national level through evaluating and improving the quality of TEC Program (developed in NC State University in U.S. and applied in Korea). This paper applies SERVQUAL model to evaluate the quality of TEC program in affecting the participant's satisfaction and referring will, with collecting questionnaire sheets from participants of TEC program since 2007. The result of research show and confirm the high level of satisfaction and referring will existing among TEC program participants basing upon strong (+) correlation result between core components of SERVQUAL; tangibles, assurance, reliability and participants' satisfaction with referring will.

웹은 지금까지의 문자 위주의 응용에서 벗어나, 그림, 동영상과 같은 멀티미디어 자료를 브라우저를 통해 접근할 수 있도록 하여, 점차 많은 응용분야에서 사용되고 있다. 최근에 들어서는 데이타베이스와 웹의 연동을 통해, 보다 다양하고, 양질의 웹 서비스를 지원하고자 하는 노력으로, 많은 연구자들이 웹 통로에 대한 많은 연구로 좋은 결과를 내고 있다. 그러나 웹과 데이타베이스의 연동에 있어 필요한 웹 트랜잭션 처리시 발생하는 문제에 있어서는 아직까지 만족할 만한 연구결과가 제시되지 않고 있다.본 논문에서는 웹 통로에서 웹 트랜잭션 처리를 위한 시스템인 WebTP를 제안하고, 이를 구현하였다. WebTP는 워크, 워크-전역변수 등을 도입하여, 웹 응용 단위에서의 저장점 설치와 부분 철회와 트랜잭션 상태 관리 기법을 제공하여, 시스템의 가용성과 안정성을 높이며, 구조적인 웹 응용작성이 가능토록 하여, 복잡한 웹 응용 개발을 돕는다.Abstract Enabling users to access multi-media data like images and motion pictures, in addition to the traditional text-based data, Web becomes a popular platform for various applications. Recently, many researchers have paid a large amount of works on integrating Web and databases to improve the quality of Web services, and have produced many noticeable results on this area. However, no enough research results have been presented on processing Web transactions that are essential in integrating Web and databases.In this paper, we have designed and implemented WebTP, which is a Web transaction processing system for Web gateways to databases. WebTP, by introducing work and work-global-variables, provides a more robust state management, supports application-level savepoints and partial rollbacks. It also nhances productity by providing a modular way to develop Web applications.

Wireless sensor network provides services anytime and anywhere they are requested. Especially, medical sensor network based on biosensors is applied a lot to biotechnology and medical engineering. In medical sensor network, people can make their health checked at home free from temporal and spatial constraints. In ubiquitous healthcare environment, people can get instant help even in the emergency, and in hospital, patients can be taken care of efficiently. In this environment, health and life related data are delivered, and the privacy and security of personal data are very important. In this paper, we propose user authentication and data communication mechanism in two modes, normal and urgent situation using cellular phone. Through our proposal, data can be transferred in quick and secure manner.

Background: University health services have provided comprehensive medical care, counseling, health promotion, and public health services to their students and several other local institutions. To their faculty and staff, university health care centers have served occupational health services and employee assistant program. Purpose: We performed this study to review the health promotion services on two kinds of health care center with different style of university formate. Methods: We tried to collect the data by literature review and interview with executive and provider at health care center in University of California at Berkeley and San Jose State University. Results: Our results were as followed. First, students could use the medical services just as they would their regular doctor's office and urgent care center. Second, the health promotion unit offered programs and services for keeping students healthy and safe, including many opportunities for students to get involved in shaping the public health of the campus. Third, the health promotion recommendation offered from ACHA was useful guideline to improve health status of their member in university campus. Finally, the student satisfaction surveys were used for evaluation and quality improvement. Conclusions: The systematic approach to improve health status of students, faculty and staff can use to maintain a state of optimum health among the diverse student community in support of academic excellence. Coupled with health promotion and public health programs, university health service have to reach all segments of the healthy campus community. To achieve study goals in university, the health care center contributes to promote accountability and responsibility for the health and well being of the members in their campus.

The Video See-through HMD(VSHMD) captures real-world view through a camera set mounted in front of the HMD. The VSHMD outputs this visual information in real time through the display in the HMD, which technique can be used as mixed reality, augmented reality, and virtual reality device. Recently, there is growing interest in VSHMD due to the rapid development of camera and display technology. However, VSHMD is still not free from many technical huddles and human factor issues. This paper summarizes the VSHMD related researches so far, presents the major issues to be solved in advance, and suggests design considerations that should be beneficial to VSHMD development, focused on the human factors, that presents solutions to effectively overcome the limitations of VSHMD functionalities in current.

With a global shift from carbon economy towards hydrogen economy, leading countries such as the U.S., Europe, China, and Japan are focusing their research capabilities on hydrogen research and development(R&D) by announcing various hydrogen economy policies. South Korea also has been following this global trend by announcing hydrogen economy roadmap in January 2019 and legislating hydrogen economy related law. In this paper, we tried to figure out the national R&D trend of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle(FCEV) and its knowledge structure by using recent 10-year project data of National Technology and Information Service(NTIS). We collected 1,479 FCEV-related projects and conducted text mining and network analysis. According to the analysis, FCEV-related R&D has been actively carried out over the entire process of hydrogen production, transport, storage, and utilization. Furthermore, the paper provides insights into the government's policy agenda building and market strategy on the hydrogen economy.

The purpose of this study is to examine international trends in performance evaluation of public libraries. We examined major theoretical models for performance evaluation and its measurement guidelines and tools in the literature. We also conducted case studies to investigate actual practices in major regional public library systems in the United States. In-depth interviews with library staff were conducted in three large U.S. public library systems along with analyses of both internal and public documents. The results of the study inform that the most noticeable trend of performance evaluation was to assess the impact of public library in the lives of citizens and the society. Guidelines and methods to measure intangible impact were developed in both international and national levels. These efforts were also found at the local library levels. While the outcome and impact measures were found to be direct reflections of strategic goals of the library systems, actual impact measures have yet to be refined in actual library practices.
