Brown provided a structure theorem for a class of perfect ideals of grade 3 with type ${\lambda}$ > 0. We introduced a skew-symmetrizable matrix to describe a structure theorem for complete intersections of grade 4 in a Noetherian local ring. We construct a class of perfect ideals I of grade 3 with type 2 defined by a certain skew-symmetrizable matrix. We present the Hilbert function of the standard $k$-algebras R/I, where R is the polynomial ring $R=k[v_0,v_1,{\ldots},v_m]$ over a field $k$ with indeterminates $v_i$ and deg $v_i=1$.

A case of gastric adenocarcinoma signet ring cell type was described in a ten-year-old female Jindo dog having about three months history of vomiting, anorexia and weight loss. On radiology, ultrasonography and computed tomography, thickness of the gastric fundus was irregularly increased. On necropsy, the gastric fundus was markedly thickened and gastric rugae were attenuated. The cardia and distal esophagus were also thickened. On histopathology, the mucosa was obliterated by neoplastic proliferation of round to polyhedral cells. The neoplastic cells had abundant vacuolated cytoplasm containing mucin. The neoplasm was infiltrated into the submucosa and muscle layer. Metastatic focus was not observed.

This paper is to develop the sensing system for opening-force measurement such as O-Ring muscular meridian. We designed to overcome the functional limit that the conventional force-sensor can measure just the closing-force. Therefore, the new sensor can meet a variety of application as well as O-Ring test. The structure of the new sensor is an actuator-type system using an electromagnet. That is made up of mechanical system, electromagnet, current transformer and computer interface circuit. Driving software and user interface program of the new sensor system also is explained in this paper.

It has been little known when an Artinian point quotient has the strong Lefschetz property. In this paper, we find the Artinian point star configuration quotient having the strong Lefschetz property. We prove that if ${\mathbb{X}}$ is a star configuration in ${\mathbb{P}}^2$ of type s defined by forms (a-quadratic forms and (s - a)-linear forms) and ${\mathbb{Y}}$ is a star configuration in ${\mathbb{P}}^2$ of type t defined by forms (b-quadratic forms and (t - b)-linear forms) for $b=deg({\mathbb{X}})$ or $deg({\mathbb{X}})-1$, then the Artinian ring $R/(I{\mathbb_{X}}+I{\mathbb_{Y}})$ has the strong Lefschetz property. We also show that if ${\mathbb{X}}$ is a set of (n+ 1)-general points in ${\mathbb{P}}^n$, then the Artinian quotient A of a coordinate ring of ${\mathbb{X}}$ has the strong Lefschetz property.

Using the extensional vibration mode of PZT ring, a piezopump is successfully made. The PZT ring is polarized with thickness direction. The traveling extensional wave along the circumference of the ring is obtained by dividing two standing waves which are temporally and spatially phase shifted by 90 degrees from each other. The proposed piezopump is consisted of coaxial cylindrical shells that are bonded piezoelectric ceramic ring. The pump takes an unobtrusive operation into the simple displacing mechanism using peristaltic traveling waves without the physical moving parts. The finite elements analysis on the proposed pump model is carried out to verify its operation principle and design by the commercial FEM software. Components of piezopump were made, assembled, and tested to validate the concepts of the proposed pump and confirm the simulation results. The performance of the proposed piezopump is about 580 ${\mu}l/min$ in flow rate with the highest pressure level of 0.85 kPa, when the driving voltage is 150 $V_p$, 57 kHz.

원환비는 한 개의 독립된 원환이 재갈멈추개의 역할을 하는 특징적인 재갈로서 삼국시대, 특히 6세기대를 중심으로 우리나라 중남부지방에서 유행하였다. 그 형태는 원환 자체 혹은 입문에 따라 다양하나 우리나라의 경우 입문이 없는 정원형 원환이 주류이다. 그래서 다양한 형태의 입문이 발달한 일본의 원환비와 좋은 대비를 이룬다. 원환비의 출현은 6세기1/4분기에 백제와 (대)가야지역에서 비롯되며 이로부터 신라, 일본으로 전파되면서 기존의 표비나 판비와 더불어 새로운 마장문화를 형성해 나갔다. 원환비의 변화는 함, 인수, 원환 등 각 구성요소와 이들의 연결방법을 통해 살필 수 있다. 각 구성요소의 경우 함은 3연식에서 2연식으로, 인수는 두가닥에서 한가닥으로 변하며 원환은 처음에 크게 제작되다가 점차 크기가 줄어드는 특징이 있다. 또한 철봉의 단면은 원형에서 방형으로 변해 나간다. 원환비에서 가장 주목되는 변화는 이들 구성요소의 연결방법이다. 처음에는 유환이 있고 원환이 함외환에 걸린 형식을 백제와 가야가 공유한다. 그러나 5세기2분기를 전후하여 백제에서는 유환이 없는 형식으로의 빠른 변화가 상정되며 이후 이것이 주류를 점한다. 또한 원환은 유환의 유무와 상관없이 함외환에 걸리는 특징이 있다. 이에 비해 가야에서는 일정기간 동안 유환을 더욱 활용한다. 그래서 함외환에 걸려 있던 원환을 유환에 걸기도 하며 때로는 유환의 기능이 극대화된 상황에서 이를 변모, 종국에는 유환을 원환화한 새로운 형식을 채용하기도 하였다. 그러나 이후 가야에서 점차 유환이 없는 형식이 유행하는데, 이를 통해 6세기대 백제마구의 가야 확산의 일면을 엿볼 수 있다.

In this paper, a novel design ultrasonic linear motor is proposed. The proposed motor consists of a ring type stator and a mover. They have spirals on their inner and outer surface, respectively. Along the spiral, a mover is travelled by a travelling extensional vibration mode of a ring type stator. Hence, a linear up-and-down motion is generated. Through the experimental data, we can verify the applicability regarding the autofocus lens drive.

In this paper, it is discussed that active noise control in a circular duct using smart foam. Firstly, it is demonstrated that the potential of the conventional smart foam, proposed by Fuller, for active noise control in a duct. Conventional smart foam is not applicable to active noise control in a duct having flow. Thus, this paper presents a ring-type smart foam as an alternative. The ring-type smart foam consists of polyurethane acoustic foam of lining shape and PVDF film embedded in the foam. The embedded PVDF element acts as an actuator to reduce noise at lower frequencies and the foam absorbs noise at higher frequencies. A filtered-x LMS controller is used to minimize the signal from the error microphone. Experiments are executed to reduce broadband and tonal noise.

공진기 진동형 링레이저 자이로가 외부에서 입력되는 각도변화만을 검출하여 출력하기 위해서는 링레이저 출력으로부터 공진기의 각진동 운동에 의한 출력을 제거하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 공진기 진동형 링레이저 자이로에서 공진기의 각진동을 검출하는 각속도 센서 출력을 V-F 변환하여 링레이저 출력을 보상하는 dither-stripping에 대하여 논의하였다. 우리는 V-F 신호의 offset을 제거하기 위하여 V-F 신호의 미분값을 취하고 또한 미분값을 취함으로서 변화되는 위상을 보상하기 위하여 아날로그 적분기로 위상을 보정하는 방법과 링레이저 신호 또는 V-F 신호의 검출 시점을 지연시키는 방법을 개발하였다. 그리고 링레이저 출력과 V-F 신호 사이의 환산을 위하여 분산을 이용하여 이득을 산출하는 방법을 개발하였다. 우리는 이와 같은 방법을 적용하고, dither trapping 방법과 비교하는 실험을 통하여 효과를 분석하였다.

Let R be a commutative ring. An R-module M is called a w-Noetherian module if every submodule of M is of w-finite type. R is called a w-Noetherian ring if R as an R-module is a w-Noetherian module. In this paper, we present an exact version of the Eakin-Nagata Theorem on w-Noetherian rings. To do this, we prove the Formanek Theorem for w-Noetherian rings. Further, we point out by an example that the condition (${\dag}$) in the Chung-Ha-Kim version of the Eakin-Nagata Theorem on SM domains is essential.
