  • With such basic conceptions in mind. this study was aimed at reviewing the unique formative aesthetics of scarves for creation of modern apparel design. To this end, the drapeability of the rhythmically wrinkled fabric of scarf as well as its tying and enclosing representation were introduced into the apparel details and silhouette to create an apparel design flattering the moderns unique sense of aesthetics and emotion. In the same vein. threads were superimposed on the planar fabric to express a sense of volume and thereby, pursue a unique decorative effect of rich texture. Specifically. the objectives of this study are to highlight the practical use of scarf warming and its decorative formative aesthetics and thereby, apply it to apparel designs and develop an art fabric using the machine embroidery technique. and ultimately, suggest the possibility of unique but highly value-added apparel designs.

  • Behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case show complex structural characteristics. Pre-torque must be applied to the threads to prevent the loosening of the interface from the additional pressure load. During the pressurization of the rocket motor case, the jointing face may be opened if the pre-torque were not set properly or the structure may be failed if the local concentrated stress exceeds the strength of the material. In this paper, the structural behaviour of a thread joint of a rocket motor case were analyzed by the finite element method and the results were compared to the experimental ones. A method to set a pre-torque for a thread joint were proposed to ensure the structural safety.

  • Inundation of substation and ground power equipment breaks out every summer season in low-lying downtown and low-tying shore by heavy rain, typhoon and tidal wave. In case inundation excluding the exchanging cost of equipment, it occurs a great economic and social loss owing to recovery time and events of electric shock occur by inundation electrical equipment (Pad-mounted Transformer and Switch). So we research the flooding prevention countermeasures of electrical facility and Transformer Vault on Foreign. We conform the site facility and related regulation for flooding prevention on Foreign.

  • Although widely used in external beam treatment planning, computed tomography scans are infrequent in incranial tumors by implanting of Radioactive isotope. This incranial brachytherapy has only become possible by using CT scans and stereotaxic operation methods. The coincidence of single source and tumor axes in brachytherapy is very important to determine the therapeutic dosages. Eventhough using the CT scan, according to spatial location of tumor tying, the section of tumor will be seen enlargement, cause the tumor will be cut off with slight angle to its axes. Correct analysis of tumor size from source is required for rotated axes in analytical geometry.

  • High-resolution telescope from space comprises electro-optical imagery with a ground resolution tying within the range of 1 to 5 meters. According to information documented in the literature up to now, most primary mirrors verified and flown in optical space missions have been lightweighted made from Zerodur, ULE, beryllium, SiC or aluminium. A trade off study was performed to determine as a &lightweighted& by factors like backside cell pattern, rib thickness, face thickness, mirror fixation device location and material and so on based on structural performance for primary mirror in submeter class spaceborne telescope.

  • The Nilsson model was used to predict energy levels of $^{53}$ Mn without taking band mixing into consideration. The results were compared with the experimental levels and the predictions with band mixing of Malik ana Scholz. In both cases, with band mixing and without band mixing, the theoretical fit to experimental results is fair only for a few low-tying levels. However, it is found that the present calculation fits rather better to experiment than the band mixing calculation as far as higher levels are concerned.

  • In previous study, the decrease and recovery of total stiffness in welded structure was discussed on the basis of experimental examination through tensile loading and unloading test of welded specimen. The recovery of structure stiffness was caused by the release of welding residual stress through mechanical loading. In this study, analysis model that is indispensable for the effective application of MSR method was established on the basis of test and measurement result. Thermal elasto-plastic analysis for welding process was performed by non-coupled analysis. Analysis results of welding process were transfer to elasto-plastic model for tensile loading & unloading by restart technique. In elasto-plastic analysis model for mechanical loading & unloading, hardening appearance of weld metal was considered by rezoning technique and tying technique was used for JIG condition of test machine.

  • During past earthquakes several bridges have failed due to a loss of support at their bearings, seats, and/or expansion joints. Most efforts to prevent this have been directed toward tying bridges together at their bearings and expansion joints. Longitudinal restrainers are installed to limit the relative displacement at joints and thus decrease the chance of a loss of support as these locations. Transverse restrainers are necessary in many cases to keep the superstructure from sliding off in the transverse direction. Vertical restrainers are used at bearings to prevent uplifting deck, but usually not economically justified unless additional bearing retrofit is being performed. To obtain this three function of restrainer, a universal restrainer is developed. The load capacities were evaluated in static and dynamic experimental test. The test results show that the measured capacity or strength of the bridge deck restrainer is similar to that of design value.

  • Throughout the world in major urban centers, the volume of vehicular traffic on roads continues to increase. ITS provides drivers with traffic information and new routing options on route In order to make them move quickly to their destinations. The higher mobility, the more productivity we gain. The ultimate goal of Intelligent Transport System is to improve mobility. ITS world is broad and quite varied, as demonstrated by ITS user services, their distinct needs, and complex Interactions and synergies. ITS ties the transportation and telecommunication worlds together. The complex world of telecommunications is evolving and expanding rapidly. Especially over the last two decades, the birth and unprecedented growth of wireless is really marvelous and further holds tremendous promise into the future. This wireless and emerging technologies will offer extensive opportunities to handle many ITS user services, and alter many of the traditional paradigms of transportation.
